• Anna (7/5): Perfect location, clean, servicable, quiet, but DARK rooms - Location was perfect, great walkability to everything we wanted, close to subway, big room for NYC, nice and quiet, even on the ground floor, and the rooftop terrace/seating was actually awesome—we ended up eating take out there more than once. Thank you for keeping the cushions clean and dry! Rooms and bathrooms are too DARK—thats really my only feedback. No fridge/microwave/hit water/coffee in the room, but they offset that downside with tea/coffee/water/ice to the room all day, and daily breakfast, which is nice of them.

• Allegra (8/5): Everything was perfectly fine and I was happy with my stay - my fave thing is that they will bring you coffee or tea to your room any time upon request and when i got the tea it was piping hot and not lukewarm. Nice to have a roof deck! Plenty of choices for the self serve breakfast. Yummy options.
• Elizabeth (10/5): The Lex is a beautiful, comfortable hotel with convenient access to restaurants and transportation! - The location of the Lex is excellent -- close to everything NYC and yet with a feeling of a small neighborhood! The staff were kind and accommodating. Good muffins and coffee for a quick breakfast! The fan/air conditioner wasn't obvious to control at first. Plugs were not accessible where there was a table to set things on (across from beds, not near). Small matters because everything else was great!

Grey walls throughout, lobby was dark and gloomy. Felt bad for the people working there. Lack of artwork on walls made it even less inviting, room looked spartan, breakfast was basic with store bought items, went to bakery/coffee shop around the corner instead. Water in the tub ran yellow on my second night! Did not use...

Croissant good as was coffee. Staff welcoming and efficient. Sadly spectrum TV programming doesn't provide access to any of the financial channels - so no CNBC or Bloomberg.

A közelben rengeteg bolt és étterem van, valamint a metró- és buszmegállók is pár perc sétára találhatók, így a város felfedezése rendkívül egyszerű. A személyzet külön kiemelendő: mindenki rendkívül kedves, figyelmes és segítőkész volt, bármilyen kérdéssel fordulhattunk hozzájuk. Bár a leírás szerint nincs reggeli a szálláson, mi minden reggel találtunk lehetőséget egy kis harapnivalóra: apró édes péksütemények, müzli és narancslé mindig elérhető volt, ami kellemes meglepetés volt. • robertmK7474AZ (10/5): Nice 1st experience in NYC - My wife and I stayed at The Lex Hotel NYC for our first trip to NYC, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff truly made a difference—they were incredibly helpful with directions to all our destinations and gave us great food recommendations that we really enjoyed. The room was spacious and very clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. We also appreciated the breakfast, especially the pastries and coffee, which were a nice way to start the day. Overall, it was a wonderful first visit to New York, and The Lex Hotel played a big part in that. We would definitely stay here again!

I arrived early and they were able to accommodate an early check-in, which I really appreciated after traveling. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making everything smooth and welcoming. My room was located in the back of the hotel, and it was very quiet—perfect for getting a good night’s rest. I also really enjoyed the rooftop, which was a nice added touch and a great place to relax. Overall, a very positive first stay, and I would definitely come back again!

Very good value for an NYC hotel, would stay there again without hesitation. Area is nice, plenty of stores, delis, restaurants etc. Breakfast options extremely limited ( coffee and a pastry, muffin etc.) , no issues as such but a bagel option would have been nice.

Breakfast is very basic and closes early. The room was clean enough, but the carpet was old. The room was small, and the view was awful, on the second floor. Aircon was very loud but also extremely dusty, which could be problematic with people with health issues. Too expensive for what you get.

• Bell (10/5): Stay at The Lex when in NYC! - Amazingly kind and punctual staff. Very clean, quiet and comfortable room. So nice to have all the bout of the city blocked by the soundproof walls. Just what we needed. Steven, front desk staff, was exceptional! Loved it all!

• O1019JHangelag (10/5): Lex Hotel- great location, great facilities for a city break! - Located in a fabulous spot in the city for both walking and subway access. The hotel is clean, tidy and staff were always helpful and informative. The breakfast was a great start to the day with fresh muffins, croissants, pastries, cereal and fruit. Tea and coffee, orange juice and milk too! Plenty to set you up for the day! The rooms were clean and fresh, everything you need for a city break. The showers were lovely and hot and a great variety of toiletries to use for a short break. There is a safe in the room free of charge. Rooms can be cleaned daily or on request and tea and coffee brought to your room whenever you would like. There is a luggage storage for those early arrivals and later departures, accessed only by reception. The hotel felt very safe and of a good standard. There are delis next door, a Starbucks 50 metres away, subway, and a wing stop within 10 metres of the front door. Overall an excellent stay. Would I stay again? Absolutely!

I loved the continuous coffee service sent right to my room — such a nice touch. The location is also fantastic and made getting around NYC really easy. Would definitely stay here again.

• NCG1703 (7/5): Estancia correcta - El hotel es suficiente para pasar 5 días, la habitación es más grande de lo que suele haber por NYC. EL detalle de ponernos desayuno para poder comer algo antes de salir es algo positivo a tener en cuenta. Aunque luego hicieras un buen café fuera, de hecho hay muy buenos sitios alrededor, salías ya con algo en el estómago. Había diferentes tipos de madalenas, croissants, cereales, leche, zumo de naranja y café. Saliendo a la izquierda, tienes una cafetería con el café muy bueno y también un lugar donde venden sushi, que se ha hecho viral por Tiktok, no lo probamos, siempre había cola. En cuanto al hotel, muy amables todos, casi todos hablan Español y te intentan ayudar en cualquier cosa que necesites. Cada día te dan dos botellas de agua en la habitación. El baño genial. Agua muy caliente y con presión. A tener en cuenta, tienen secador pequeño, pero funciona muy bien con potencia, no tiene accesorios. El hotel está situado entre dos paradas de metro. Según donde querías ir, podías ir hacia un lado u otro, estabas justo en medio. También podías ir al centro caminando. La calle al ser Av Lexington, muy fácil de acceder con taxi. pasamos frío dos noches. La segunda noche nos dieron mantas y un calefactor pequeño. Al día siguiente nos cambiamos de habitación, aún así nos costaba encontrar la temperatura correcta dentro. También hay que decir que fuera hacía mucho frío, nos nevó estando allí. En los pasillos de las habitaciones tenían aires acondicionados de split en la pared y se estaba súper bien, se notaba mucho, en las habitaciones, los aires son más antiguos. Aun así, no tengo nada más que añadir en cuanto a negativo. Fueron amables y nos intentaron ayudar.

Hotel refused to compensate us for the inconvenience despite us filing a formal complaint with booking. Will not return.
• Joshua (7/5): This hotel was surprisingly affordable for it’s wonderful location while lacking in minor conveniences. - Great location for the price point. Clean and easily accessible. The terrace had a surprisingly nice view for the lacking size of the building. Lack of amenities. No microwave or mini refrigerator in the room. The wall outlets were in a very inconvenient location opposite the bed with no stand to put anything on.

• Erica (7/5): For a quick two-night stay it met our needs. - It was easy to find. The room was ready when we arrived. The staff were friendly. The room and the bathroom was clean. I appreciated a list of local businesses nearby for food and any other needs that may arise. The bed was off-balance, the side I slept on was dipped lower than the other side. The thermostat was set at celsius vs. farenheit and we were unable to change it, so figuring out the temp was confusing. There was no guide for the tv, so time was spent channel surfing until we found what we wanted.

The room was clean and the hotel convenient to the venue. There were no rooms available at 3pm check-in. My friend got her room at 3:10 and was given a better room (king). My room was ready at 3:40. I asked about getting an upgrade and a break on the room charge. The manager explained that my friend didn't get an upgrade, and the rate could not be adjusted because of the contract with Booking.com. (My friend 's rate was about $350 and mine was about $450.) The manager gave me an upgraded room. I won't use Booking.com again because of the discrepancy in the room rates that could not be adjusted. Breakfast was ok.

Signage to locate on a busy street was poor. There was a truck parked in front of the hotel, so drove by it twice before calling front desk to ask for locating assistance. Mattress was worn, room has limited space (expected for NYC) but only one hard desk type chair to sit in (other than on the bed).

• Petya (5/5): Hotel met basic needs and got the job done for a weekend trip. - Good location, friendly staff, decent-sized room for two people Sheets were not the cleanest, AC blasted cold air directly at you but the room got too hot if it was off, "complimentary breakfast" but only served 7-9 (which is not incredibly early, but for two people on a weekend trip where they stay out late, waking up comfortably before 9 is impossible).

• Sina (7/5): Sehr ruhiges, sauberes Hotel, gut geeignet für Städtetrips, gute Lage, wenn man nicht mitten im Gewimmel sein möchte - Frühstück, Lage, Personal sehr nett, sehr ruhig Wenig Stauraum, winzig kleiner Kleiderschrank, kein Kühlschrank, Fenster öffnen kaum möglich wegen Tauben, Heizung durch Heizlüfter, es war entweder sehr kalt (Lüfter aus) oder sehr laut (Lüfter an)
• Megan (6/5): I had a find stay. I appreciated the staff, but the facilites didn't impress. - Location was good. Staff was good. Shower was difficult to figure out! Walls are very thin, so heard everything going on in rooms to either side. Decor was ok - clean, but a bit sterile.

• Mitchell (8/5): Nice stay at the Lex - Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was very limited in scope and hours of operation.

• Aimee (8/5): covers all the basics - Great location. got a last minute deal so good value for money for Manhattan, rooms were clean and bed comfortable, we asked for extra bedding and it was promptly provided, all comms by staff was great. Breakfast is not great, Manhattan in general is quite loud and there was a loud whirring vent outside the room, staff offered to move rooms but the noise was worse so we stayed put, they did offer us earplugs and were willing to move us late at night.
