Guest Reviews
- Chelsea (4/5): Too expensive, not a nice experience - Despite what the booking information says, this hotel only has single / very small twin beds. The mattress is uncomfortable. There are no Double, Queen or King beds in any rooms. The hotel rooms are run down, in desperate need of updates. Loud pipes and traffic from the main road. Carpet in the rooms is very dirty. Lighting is very dim and dark. The melanese chicken was expensive, bad, overcooked, chewy and no flavor. The massage therapist was good, staff were lovely, the breakfast spread was good, and the tea was excellent. Other than that, I do not recommend this place.
- Wasfi (10/5): - Ok
- mallory (8/5): - Dalaman Lykia Hotel was comfortable and clean with friendly helpful staff. The Turkish breakfast buffet was excellent. Not connected to the hotel but adjacent to, Restaurant Nar, is great for late evening meal and drinks. It would be nice if an airport shuttle was provided.
- Mark (10/5): - Good value, comfortable hotel with pool and spa. Very convenient for airport. We used it for a stopover for a night to get plane next day.
- Paul (4/5): - I won’t be going back paid our bar bill in bar at the time
Then charged again when checking out in the morning
- Alexandru (4/5): - Only the pool is good
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel's location is very convenient. However, the rooms need renovation. The room smelled cigarette smoke.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I believe the room was painted recently because there was a strong paint odor. I had to wear a mask to sleep. Additionally, there were no towel hangers, which was inconvenient. After taking a shower, half of the bathroom floor remained wet. Since I arrived at the hotel very late at night after a long flight and planned to leave early in the morning, I chose not to request a room change.
- Simon (8/5): Thankful for an emergency room! - I needed a hotel close to the airport after missing my flight, it was easy to check-i n even though it was the early hours of the morning.
The room was spacious and had every I needed, some parts of the hotel were undergoing some renovations but this did bit effect my stay.
There was a good selection of buffet style items for breakfast but the hot food was only luke warm.
Pool area was also well kept, with a 25mins walk to the centre of Dalaman

- Mitchell (10/5): - Nice place
- Lamis (4/5): - The proximity to the airport was the reason we booked the room. But since it was a resort we thought it would be nice. Wrong! This place is extremely run down and needs a complete remodel. The bathroom shower tub leaked all over the floor from the bottom. It’s was ridiculous. The furniture and bedding was scratchy and very uncomfortable. We will not stay here again.
- Sarah (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend - Air con leaked
Balcony door didn’t open easy as scraped floor
No lights in the ceiling - dark
Only one reading light worked
Power cuts
Fridge didn’t work well
Bidet sprayed out the toilet
Asked for a double bed got two singles (hotel was half empty, had an empty double bed room next door the whole time I was there)
Food was nice though :)
- James (8/5): - V close to airport and great choice when arriving on late flight - would recommend.
- Yvonne (8/5): - Convenient for airport - only 5 minutes drive. Great for late flight in. Restaurant open 24/7. And reasonable prices. Swimming pool and sauna and spa facilities. Room comfortable and spacious but a little dated. Good aircon. Staff English is limited but we got by. Good breakfast. Booked 2 rooms. Great value for money as spa facilities included.
- Debra (6/5): Don’t stay here - The spa was awful with tired dirty steam rooms and sauna. A musty smell in the Turkish Bath and the hot tub not even full. The Ac in the bedroom wasn’t working well and so opened the patio door to get some air and then the sound of airplanes kept us awake all night. Service in the restaurant was terrible and the food wasn’t worth eating.
- riaz (8/5): - Good for a late night stopover from Dalaman airport, only a 5 min 100 lira taxi ride. Efficient checkin and check out and rooms large but unfortunately tired and could do with a refurbishment at some point.
- Ann (10/5): - Stayed one night before a flight. The hotel is really nice good facilities indoor pool looks amazing. We had dinner option and it was excellent, lots of choice and a great price. Room was clean and tidy with black-out curtains. We could have done with an extra pillow. Unfortunately for us the toddler in the next room screamed most of the night so I didn't get much sleep.
- Janet (6/5): Dated rooms, pretty lobby - The lobby and restaurant are beautiful, but the rooms are incredibly dated and grubby.
They advertise a shuttle, but there is none
The breakfast buffet is very nice, excellent choices.
I was, after a long day of travel, excited to have a bath, but the water on the highest temperature never got past luke warm, very disappointing.
- Mark (8/5): - Very enjoyable. Staff helpful. Surroundings well maintained. Cold in comunial areas.
- Bronya (8/5): - Very enjoyable.
- Jade (8/5): Good 1 night stay - Over experience for 1 night stay good. Staff amazing and couldn’t do enough to help you. Room basic a little dated but clean shower pressure good.. facilities good.. overall happy experience.. buffet food ok but can order from menu also reasonably priced.
- Mark (10/5): Great pre flight stay - The hotel was cleaned to a high standard.
We had a leak in the bathroom. Our room was instantly changed. The staff were extremely helpful once we pointed out the issue.
We are looking forward to staying here again soon.
- Donald (10/5): - Expedia showed price/night as $13 but changed to $45 when we booked. Decent hotel for quick getaway to airport. Front desk staff helpful and good English.
- Claire (10/5): - My massage from Ramazan at their spa was the best in my entire life. The staff could
not have been nicer. It is 3 minute taxi ride to the airport, but the planes never kept us awake. The hallway carpet is a bit tired, but the rooms are spotless as is the swimming pool and gym with a helpful trainer there to help you. Breakfast was superlative. The cost was in the region of 40 dollars a night so it is great value for money. If key cards occasionally don’t work, so what.
- Gill (6/5): - Staff are very friendly & helpful, it’s a big reception & pool area is lovely. We were here for 1 night prior to an early flight & it was perfect for that purpose. We chose to have dinner at night but the food was very poor.
- Jamie (4/5): - The electrical system in the unit we stayed in didnt shut off a light. It was suposed to shut off when the main switched was turned but didnt. Therefore, the entire night we slept in the light. Furthermore, the bed was a rock. They gave my husband and myself twin beds to sleep on.
- Arisha (10/5): - It’s an OK place to land at right after one has landed at Dalaman Airport. The breakfast buffet is actually excellent, so I would recommend it to those who don’t want to drive after exhausting flights
- Hasan (6/5): - Its a normal hotel . A chioce to spend rest time after travelling
- Dr Mohammed (10/5): - Excellent hotel when you need to stay in Dalaman, room was comfortable and satisfactory. Room service was good as well.
- Wendy (10/5): - Easy to find. Friendly, efficient check in. Carpets have seen better days. Temperamental electronic key card. Room only had two small bed lights by way of illumination. Could have done with two more pillows.
Good choice of breakfast, large airy dining room. Clean.
We only stayed overnight but will stay again.
- inci (2/5): - Bad very bad experience.. When you need to order in 24/7 restaurant you have to look for staff and find them. This is ridiculus. Food is below average for a hotel. It feels like a low quality fast food restaurant. Prices are low. I think they just have the wrong mindset for managing this hotel. Low prices in the property (not hotel staying cost) and low quality service.
- tammy l (10/5): Eat somewhere else but stay here!! - Good hotel. Super nice staff! Restaurant needs work. Very limited and act like they are doing you a favor by feeding you. 🙄
- Tom (2/5): - Receptionist was so rude they didn’t help us with the luggages
- Michal (6/5): - Quite close to the airport. No shuttle bus as it was advertised. Under direct approach path of landing aircrafts. Sauna and pool facilities looked warn out. Vary hot at hotel corridors. AC only in rooms
- Uliana (6/5): Felt old and rundown - We chose this hotel as it was conveniently situated between Dalaman City and the Airport, and it was stated that they offered a free airport transfer.
However, there was no airport transfer available to us and we had to make our own way there, which we found very misleading.
Carpet throughout the hotel looked dirty and worn.
The pool wasn't clean, there was bird muck on the furniture and flooring, and the spa area didn't appear to be open at all.
There were no staff at the bar so you had to go searching for them to order food and drink. However, they had no idea how to use the coffee machine.
Breakfast buffet was ok with a standard selection that would suit most people.
- Verified traveler (10/5): I have stayed several times and this was a friend. - It was a very convenient hotel to stay as we put our friend in the hotel ready for collection the next morning.she enjoyed her stay and we have always liked our stay as it is very nice for us and a reasonable cost.
- Katherine (8/5): - Very convenient. Could have been cleaner.
- Gillian (8/5): - Great airport location for late arrival flight.
- Luigi (2/5): - Just a terrible experience. Having to deal with staff that despite mentioning the restaurant was open for room service they were not at service of the client. We checked in at 9pm and ask immedetiely for resturant services, we have had to wait 30' before somebody arrive to take the order. Out of 30 options only 2 vegetarian options were available (cheese sandwich and local pastery) all the rest that we request was not available as the resturant was closing in 30 minutes. I have felt obliged to order what the staff want me to eat due to laziness in serving client. I will never stay again in this hotel.
- ashley (8/5): - We stayed one night after a late night flight and found it to be super. There is a bar that was still open and also one could have have a complimentary hot drink. The room and bed were comfortable and staff friendly. We would stay again and recommend especially if flying into or out of Dalaman.
- David (6/5): - Light above bed was not working. The water for the bath was not hot, only warm. The fridge did not seem to be working. For hot tea and coffee you need proper mugs not soft paper ones.
- Jenni (6/5): Convenient airport hotel - Very convenient for Dalaman airport. Good deal for evening meal - very cheap, fairly tasty & reasonably priced wine as well. Room average comfort & condition.
- Elena (10/5): - Convenient location: very close to airport.
Great breakfast
- Brian (10/5): - Great value and location. Needed to spend 1 night close to airport . Clean comfortable great power shower, traditional Turkish breakfast . No complaints at all would definately use sgain
- Alican (6/5): - Dichtbij luchthaven
- Rebecca (8/5): Fine for a Temporary Stay - This resort is ok for a temporary stay. I stayed for one night to be close to the airport and it was fine. The rooms are comfortable and clean although they need an upgrade and the hotel should stop allowing people to smoke in the rooms. The breakfast is good but I was disappointed by the amount of plastic used. They had a table set up with individual slices of bread wrapped in plastic and even coffee is served in paper cups. It would be easy to have staff clean dishes to save on plastic and paper waste.
Overall, it's fine as a transit hotel but I wouldn't plan a vacation here.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. AC didn’t keep the room cool. We were sweating the whole night. Phone and TV remote didn’t work. Very poor room service. Breakfast choice is limited and bad quality. No Go Zone for Muslims. Bars and public sell of alcohol. Very very nasty.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I accidentally booked this on Expedia. I worked with the Expedia staff to cancel immediately but the hotel never answered their telephone for four days. Do not book here!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Noisy in room next door and could hear EVERYTHING!! not good when getting up at 4 am !
- Jenni (8/5): Convenient airport hotel with parking - Very convenient for an overnight stay before an early flight & reasonably priced parking whilst we're away! Room a little tired & duvet not really big enough to cover 2 people! For 50tl each had a very reasonable 5 course set menu evening meal! Front desk staff very helpful as was minibus driver who took us to the airport!
- Daryl (8/5): Decent airport hotel - It is a pleasant clean hotel near the airport. Once Covid restrictions are lifted and the pool and other facilities are available it will make a big difference.
WiFi was very poor and it would be nice to have a smart TV in the room to access Netflix etc. Friendly staff although they forgot to order my breakfast for my early morning departure.
I would stay here again, it is purely suitable as an airport hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was okay and
Nice no problem and everything goood.
- DAVID (8/5): - Stayed here several times and this time we had no towels, limited sugar for tea making, broken light switch on reading Iight, no hotel information ie internet access,
- Catherine (2/5): Dissapointing hotel - Avoid, we stayed her for convenience after a long flight, very tatty , run down, dirty carpets and uncomfy beds, not much good to say about it really
- NasreenSuleman (6/5): - Needs restoration ... Hamam very displeasant smell... carpets need changing, bath tubs not preferable. It is not a 4star standard. However, good customer service.
- Laura (4/5): - The lights were faulty and the air conditioning did not work at all. Extremely hot and uncomfortable
- mehmet (8/5): - rooms need reconditioning. remote was missing for tv so i had to call. check in and out were smooth
- Hafiz (8/5): Airport hotel - Spa was not available and other services like the pool slides. Very close to airport and not much nearby the hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - When i arrived to the hotel service was really good by reception. Room was very clean and nice. I would stay again very soon in October
- Michael (4/5): - Property in need of refurbishment - rotting door frames and non-functioning balcony doors. Duvet too small for bed and shortage of pillows. Staff helpful. Very close to airport and good value for money
- Cecilia (8/5): Clos to airport !!! - The airport is very to the airport and that is what I was looking for. The pool and spa look great, but unfortunately, it was raining so I couldn't use the pool and I left early so didn't take advantage of the spa.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close to the airport for an over night stop, breakfast included which had a great choice plus nice indoor and outdoor pool
- William (4/5): - No top sheet on bed. Air Con not working. Door to the outside didnt lock. Food of poor quality.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fresh fruit was awaiting our arrival! It was awesome!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very beautiful clean facility and courteous staff.
- David (8/5): A good stopover hotel for airport - A convenient stopover for early morning flight. The reception/bar area was very cold so we took our drinks into the warm restaurant. We found the 2 bedside lights out of order and on previous stays the lights in other rooms had the same problem. The packed breakfast was good and the receptionist was very helpful.
- deborah (10/5): Absolutely fabulous - I am very impressed with this hotel. They look after your car for a very small fee. Drive you to the airport. Make you a sandwich if you are too early for breakfast and the evening buffet is wonderful and very inexpensive. Room comfortable, spacious and clean with facility to make your own hot drinks.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient for one night stay near airport - Stayed here many times before flights from Dalaman. It is very convenient being only 10 minutes drive away.
It is quite basic. Our main dislike was the awful scratchy top sheet provided on the bed. We had to remove it and sleep under the bedcover - it was late when we arrived and we left early. Breakfast does not start until 7am - no good if you have a flight around 8 am. The one time we had breakfast, it was basic also.
Having said that. we would go back as it is clean and convenient for the airport. Couldn't access Wifi but we didn't need it really.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Stayed here for 1 night after landing late at Dalaman airport. Despite the hotel's name it isn't a resort hotel, wrong location and the interior is a bit dated. As for the spa, i was only here to get some sleep so didn't bother. Think of this hotel as a large budget hotel near an airport and you won't go wrong.
- christine (10/5): Great hotel very close to airport 10 mins. - Only spent one night here but staff very attentive to needs well done.
- frankie (6/5): Close to airport - Hotel could only offer shuttle service one way from the airport but a local taxi was cheaper and easy to arrange
- Cassie (8/5): - Used the hotel for its convenience and location, great spot and easy to get to from Fethiye.
- Andrea (8/5): Nice hotel, needs to update services advertised - Comfortable, clean hotel convenient to Dalaman airport. Beautiful pool with great water slides, my daughter loved it! My one complaint would be that the hotel advertises an airport pick-up service, so I requested one via email, and confirmed this with a follow up email closer to the time. Unfortunately no one was there to collect us at the airport, and when I rang the hotel they said they do not organise airport pick ups & suggested we get a taxi. Ordinarily that would have been fine, but it was 1am, the taxi's only take cash & there were no cash machines at the airport, and we had a grumpy six year old to placate. If I'd known they don't do transfers, I would have arranged some Lira before we arrived and saved our faffing around at that hour of the morning. Please Lykia Hotel management, update your website, and answer emails requesting transfers with proper advice. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay for an airport hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Reception Staff very busy so guess that’s why they are lacking in friendliness
- Kym (8/5): short stay - Difficult trying to book at reception.
Think the staff who we spoke to need re training in public relations
- John (6/5): Could do better! - Poor Wi-fi and a breakfast that was by way of a buffet where the food was not kept warm. . . and the hotel had run out of orange juice
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to airport - Very close to airport - we used to stay the night after a midnight flight. Was good size bedroom and late night room service hit the spot. Good spread for breakfast.
- Lucy (6/5): Good wifi and next to airport - My ten year old and I stayed for one night and planned to stay a full day the next day but the pool was closed for maintenance so we went somewhere else for the next day. There were hardly any guests (off season) but a lot of staff and I got the impression that they were very busy doing other stuff (no idea what) rather than looking after us. They didn't have a customer service mindset at all. For example, I took at the bar in the lobby with nobody to serve me with 4 staff (and no guests) at the reception across from me not doing anything to help. They eventually rang the restaurant person to serve me. Also, the hotel was pretty quiet so no idea why we were put in a double rather than twin room, and the balcony on the ground floor looked straight onto the cleaners area with their drying clothes on washing line (also where they went for a chat a cigarette). I just didn't feel anyone cared. On a positive note, the room was clean, burgers were pretty good and wifi strong
- Lanna (8/5): Late arrival - Even though we did not arrive until after 1a.m. the staff were very helpful and friendly. Well done staff!
- nigfor (2/5): Don’t waste your money! - We arrived to find the hotel virtually empty. There was no heating on and when we enquired about food we were shown to tables in the main foyer. Every time someone came in or went out another icy blast greeted us. The catering manager was rude and condescending. The beer I was served was after the best before date.
All in all the hotel from hell!
