Guest Reviews

- Clarissa (9/5): Welcome surprise in Cottonwood - The location was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Free parking in a back lot. The room was comfortable and very quiet. The central courtyard was a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee. We enjoyed staying here and will be back if we return to Cottonwood. The stairs up to the room were steep and narrow.

- Marcia (10/5): love staying here - clean facilities. Great location in Old Town Cottonwood.
- Philippe (8/5): - chambre cosy et confortable, calme. Hoôel bien situé. Parking à disposition. Très bonne adresse et accueil chaleureux. rien
- Kathryn (10/5): Old Town Quaintness - Room was on the second floor. Stairway is a bit steep but loved the architectural character of the Inn. The room was small as well as the bathroom, but had a microwave and mini fridge in a separate small storage area which was helpful. Bed was very comfortable and we overlooked the courtyard which is nice to sit out in the evening or morning. We walked around Old Town Cottonwood and had dinner at the Mexican Restaurant next door (recommend). Loved the quaintness of the area. Would recommend staying here if you'd prefer charm and being away from the crowds in Sedona. There is free public parking in back of the Inn.
- Gerald (9/5): - Location was perfect, in the heart of old town, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. The bed was just okay, and the room air conditioner was a little noisy. We're use to central air which is quiet. It did keep the room nice and cool though.
- Edith (10/5): Loved the stay, right where we wanted to be. -
- Byron Joyner (10/5): Great time once again in beautiful Cottonwood. - The location is perfect, right downtown, near all our favorite spots.
- Sambrano (10/5): - Loved this quaint town in cottonwood and this Inn sits in walking distance of all of the restaurants and shops. Rooms were perfect for a overnight stay and beds were comfortable.
- Lafazanis (10/5): I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. - The Inn was adorable and close to everything in downtown Cottonwood. It has a beautiful courtyard and the beds were VERY comfortable. Great coffee selections and free. Loved it! It could use a magnified makeup mirror in the bathroom.

- DIANA (10/5): Rey - Beautiful court yard and easy access public parking Clean rooms. Beautiful court yard
- Denise (9/5): Nice little hotel on Main Street close to shopping and restaurants had a very friendly staff. - Great location! On the Main Street close to shopping and restaurants. Nice little hotel with a friendly staff. Very small
- Donna (9/5): A comfortable and charming, character-filled inn in a very walkable, central location. - Great location. Clean, well maintained room. Lovely courtyard. Friendly staff. No complaints. Note: Due to the age of the inn, the stairs to second-floor rooms are rather steep and narrow which might be difficult for some folks to navigate.
- Verne Rainey (7/5): Great location. Details need Improvement - Great courtyard and access to coffee room. Bed was great and quick walk to shops and restaurants. When we arrived we did not know where to park and we were told to park in back in public parking. We are mobile challenged and the desk person did not tell us there was a loading parking in front. We had to lug all of our belongings across large parking lot when we could have unloaded directly in front. Our room was on the ground floor as we requested. Our room was next to stairs which made sloped ceiling on one side of room could not get to without banging head. The bathroom had a 5" lip step up causing tripping hazard. Very few electrical outlets and TV remote did not work. It appears you cannot contact staff after check in or only in the am check out if you have a question. We wanted to really like this place but next time we will know and ask for different room.
- Cathy (10/5): Our stay was wonderful - This is a great place to stay. Loved the area. The courtyard is really nice to just hang out and relax. The staff was wonderful and the room was extremely clean. The only thing I wasn't find of was the mattress. It was something like a temperpedic and I personally do not like that kind of mattress but the stay was still wonderful. The mattress

- Gayle (9/5): Loved the location - Inner courtyard was nice
- Tasha (8/5): Snall convenient historic fun cute vibes - The rooms were modern and clean. Court yard was very nice with entry into the back parking lot. Room was small. The bathroom door was awful gave no privacy.
- Glenda (10/5): -
- Kathryn (7/5): - Location, courtyard, beautiful room, bed Smoking in the courtyard was disappointing. Ruined a beautiful experience for those who like fresh air - most of us. Sad that smoking is allowed.
- Patty (8/5): Great location with a very nice court yard. - Location is the best The room needed a lamp of some sort, bedside preferably . Overhead lighting was too bright for relaxing in the room.
- Robert (8/5): -
- Paula (10/5): - Updated and in the heart of old town.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Hadee (10/5): -
- Bourdo (8/5): It was quiet and relaxing. You can’t find a more convenient location for a fair price. - Great location next to stores, wineries and excellent restaurants. I like the historic downtown and the hotel fits well. Room was clean and cozy. Some maintenance on exterior paint needed.
- Judi (9/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): - Fantastic location. Helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Be prepared for steep stairs if your room is upstairs.
- Agata (10/5): Great little hotel on the Main Street - We loved the atmosphere of this place and its great location. The beds were very comfy, the bathroom was clean with great shower, the patio was lovely, and the location was simply on the Main Street. There was free parking right behind the hotel, which was very convenient. Staff were friendly and they had coffee/tea room with nice selection of coffee. Definitely a great place to stay while visiting Cottonwood and Sedona. We loved everything
- Alice (1/5): Very unhappy that we didn’t get the room we we requested, and the beds were very uncomfortable. We did not sleep for two - My husband is disabled and we ended up having a room upstairs. He was not able to climb the stairs, so we ended up having to switch the rooms with a friend thankfully they wanted to switch. The staff was not willing to work with us at all. it made it very uncomfortable. We almost had to cancel if our friends didn’t decide to switch the rooms with us. We ended up paying a lot more. It’s not very happy about that. We requested a downstairs and we ended up with an upstairs. The beds were ridiculously uncomfortable. Didn’t sleep for two nights. The courtyard was beautiful lovely place to sit and take pictures
- Judith (5/5): Our room rate was exceedingly high as verified at check in. We paid over $330 for one night. - Stairs to the second level
were very steep and treacherous. Easier stairs.
- Willie (7/5): - The front desk night lady was very nice. The room was very clean. I'M 75 years old and the stairs were quite a task for me. Very narrow steep climb. I think it was priced a little more than it should've been.
- JanetJelenic (6/5): Nice place if it were HALF the price - Everything was walkable. Mini fridge and microwave was nice Twin beds were like slabs of concrete. Tiny rooms and shower were very claustrophobic.
- Tracy (9/5): - Location
Shower
- David (10/5): -
- Joyce (10/5): Clean comfortable and would stay again if I am in the area - Quaint historical and clean. The courtyard was a great place to relax I liked it all
- Jody (10/5): -
- Wardynski (8/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Kathy (9/5): Iron Horse is an awesome non-chain choice in a great location! - Quaint, stone, courtyard, coffee room, shower head with great water pressure!! Steps were a little tough, but okay.
- Lisa (5/5): -
- Kimberly (10/5): -
- Farnsworth (10/5): Best spot on mainstreet! - This place its right in the heart of main street across the street from our favorite restaurant and winery. It was our first time saying and from start to finish it was exactly the home away from home getaway that we needed. The courtyard is so quaint and peaceful. We will be back. Nothing at all could be said negatively about our stay.
- Kimberly (10/5): Wonderful stay, beautiful town - Walking to shops and restaurants. Clean and charming
- Dodd (8/5): - The location The bed
- Mike (8/5): - Every thing For $225 a night. Please provide coffee makers in the rooms wow. like a Keurig. Upgrade the memory foam mattress and provide assorted pillows. Other than that very nice cool place to stay.
- Nancy (8/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): Great value, comfortable rooms. A convenient stay for visiting Sedona - Cute little in with a perfect central Cottonwood location. Perfectly positioned with the Old Town Cafe opposite which serves a great breakfast and the Arizona Stronghold Vineyard tasting just across the road. The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean and had been recently renovated. Our children stayed in a smaller twin room which was more dated and above a restaurant so the room had strong cooking smells. Beds were comfortable although pillows a little small. We chose to stay here as Sedona was ridiculously expensive and we actually preferred Cottonwood which was more authentic only a 30 min drive away. The courtyard can get noisy at night but the one night we stayed there it did not go on too late. Some rooms are clearly updated while others are not.
- Sandra (10/5): A Perrfect place to stay - The location, the place is beautiful clean , The receptionist was so nice
- Sandra (8/5): Cute place? Would stay there again - The coffee machine was not working
- David (4/5): - Staff was well intentioned and worked hard to remember our name. Carol in the restaurant was consistently sour and a bit hostile every day during our stay.
Gym was very remote and the path lacked adequate lighting to make it a safe place to go after dark.
- Michael (10/5): Great Stay in a Great Location! - Extremely clean room. Great coffee & tea room, Nice courtyard! Walking distance to everything in old town Cottonwood.
- Sandy (10/5): Comfortable , convienient, and carefree! - Great location to walk around Old Town .. without needing a car
- Emma (10/5): - Walkable to really incredible dining places. Everyone around was very friendly, and the room was quiet and warm during the cold night.
- CASEY L YOUNG (10/5): If you find yourself in Cottonwood, AZ - Great little hotel in Downtown Cottonwood. Room was very clean and comfortable. It's a bit on the small side, but more than adequate. Love the location. Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance, including a great breakfast place across the street. We'll be back.
- Martha (9/5): Very good, would stay again. -
- Pietro (8/5): - It is really good that no guest does a lot of noise at night. Free (public) parking right at the back. Is a little bit dated hotel.
- Tim (10/5): Great location. Friendly staff. - Location is fantastic Nothing
- Cari (10/5): - It was clean, well kept, and peaceful The stairs to the 2nd level were extremely narrow and quite steep. The landing to get into the room was very small and uncomfortable trying to get things into the room
- Justine (8/5): I would stay there again, however, not a weekend with more people in the area when no parking would be available - Nice clean rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Great location in town. No parking for guests. Choice for parking was on the street or in small public parking lots. Good luck trying to find parking amidst all the bar and restaurant patrons in the area.
- Jamie (10/5): -
- Susan (9/5): -
- Gerald (9/5): -
- Tim M (8/5): A stay in the real Cottonwood AZ - Here is one of these places that you give up a little bit on amenities in order to get a real authentic stay. Everything you need, and nothing more, in a very unique setting with a large interior walking distance to all the attractions in this small town. You will not find a better Hostess and Debora Unique and worth this stay
- Luis (10/5): Great comfortable stay in old town cottonwood, felt great! - Perfect for the area and proximity to all tasting rooms. No dislikes.
- Gena (10/5): - Very comfortable. Nice staff. Thank u Small thing..but the heater is very loud. Had to turn TV up way loud to hear it. But otherwise absolutely no complaints.
- Tom (8/5): - It was clean!! Location is great and they lock the gates at night. Foot traffic during the day. I understand why though
- Redanauer (8/5): - Very cozy and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Ted (8/5): -
- Pamela (8/5): Had a great time. Will be back. Staff was great! - Wonderful location in Old Town Cottonwood. The steep stairs to 2nd floor.
- Marla (9/5): -
- Jesse (10/5): -
- Moses (9/5): Excellent stay, highly recommend! - Friendly staff, clean facilities and close to everything. Loud heater/ac unit
- Helena (10/5): - Great location. Quaint Inn. Loved it

- LaRae (9/5): -
- Laryssa (8/5): -
- Gilbert (7/5): -
- Virginia (6/5): Ok but not up to standards that we experienced last stay. - location and room availability ants in my room between the 2 beds and on nightstand, along with in the bathroom the next morning.
Also Keurig machine was not working in the morning when we went for coffee.
- Terry (9/5): -
- Raymond (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): - Awesome location. Super cute and clean rooms
- Christina (10/5): Cute hotel close to everything cottonwood related. - The property was literally on Main Street. It was so nice and easy to walk wherever we needed to go. Nothing
