- Rita Chu (9/5): -

- Khaled (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tatsuo (10/5): Relaxing. - I really like the feeling of being a youth hostel.
Parents are also the best! Nothing.
- Alfred (9/5): Superb -
- Huminthm (8/5): Very good - Clean and accessible to mrt station :)
- 李元灝 (8/5): Very good - 6 min walk to TaiNEX, 8 min walk to MRT/HSR/TRA Nangang Station, bus stop right by the door, location is super convenient for trade show visitors and easy access to downtown Taipei and basically anywhere by train. Super friendly hosts and very helpful for travel info, plus their cute pet cats. It'd be perfect if there is a curtain for each bed, and the metal beds squeaks a little.
- Blain (9/5): Basic but comfortable and convenient hostel. - Very convenient to Nangang Exhibition Center.
- Angarag (8/5): Very good -
- Ping (1/5): Bad -
- Maryjane (10/5): Exceptional - It's so satisfying because it's so near in train station (nangang station) and less than 20mins in Taipei 101,we check in last 12/08-09/2024☺️ sure we will come back again,,thank you so much 🙏🙏 Nothing,,all perfect 🤗
- Rakchanok (8/5): Happy to stay there for a week - Cleanliness L'heure de Check in
- Shun Shun Rebecca (10/5): - Staff is caring, like family.
- Toan (10/5): Exceptional - Let see:
- Close to the Nangang Station, from which you can almost go anywhere.
- Close to many night markets, where you can try some local dishes.
- The hostel itself is rather on an average level, though, but is completely understandable, given the values.
- Hostel’s staffs are quite nice. Not very good with English, but they try their best to introduce about the rooms, the beds, the facilities, as well as many other things.
- The hostel is in 2nd and 3rd floors of a bigger building. For me, this is good, since it’d be more quite & not be disturbed by the street’s noises in early morning.
- I would vote 1 star, though, for 4 cats that stay in the hotel () They’re cute, furry, but rather bond. All you can do is just open your food, they’ll be drawn to you, even though the staffs have been feeding them properly.
- Overall, the property & staffs would be on my top choices, next time I go to Taipei :”)) Probably about the hall & kitchen. Rather small.
Other than that, I don’t see anything else.
- Donna (6/5): Pleasant -
- Peeraporn (8/5): Very good -
- Kousar (10/5): - Safe and easy transportation
- Aaron (6/5): Would return if I needed to stay in the area. - The hosts are welcoming and felt like i was staying with my aunt and uncle. A cat kept me company late at night as I was working on the balcony while there was a thunderstorm. No curtains, so no privacy for the beds. I saw one cockroach on the balcony, but the cat was with me so it wasn't that scary.
- Jing (8/5): Very good -
- Lenicia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chanu (8/5): Very good -
- Breonna (10/5): Amazing Hostel - The manager is delightful, the dorm is spotless, the bed was the comfiest I have stayed in since being in Taiwan and pillows as well. Also, the bathroom open lookout area was beautiful as well. The stairs made things a bit difficult as I had 80 kg of luggage and my cab drivers both had trouble finding it. I recommend staying with less luggage.
- Susan (4/5): Don't stay here. - Location is in an old building with an extremely narrow one flight walkup This property has cats to which I am allergic. The common areas are all outdoors and the cats live in these areas. The cat does not stay in the outdoor area as stated; it was allowed to roam the facility. This is dangerous as this cat could be feral. To get to the washing machine, you have to go through one of the dormitory rooms - really privacy invasive. The owner offered to cancel my reservation, but be serious, it was New Year's Eve weekend and already 11 pm at night. I had an event to attend and just sucked it up, but I would never stay there again. The owner was kind enough to write down the nearest hospital incase I had an attack. She also gave me clips so I could hang a sheet for privacy - the sheet was mine.
- 孟憲 (8/5): Very good -
- Ming-jung (9/5): come back again - Convenient and easy to go to MRT station. There is a big bowel traditional Taiwan noodle to our hostel with good price. none
- Thomas (4/5): way too expensive; only for the very adventurous - if you really need to stay in Nangang, the location is good. the staff were friendly and helpful, even when I cancelled 3 nights of my stay after the second night. it is way too expensive for what it is. I had the double room (without window - which was not advertised). the room was very small (I couldn’t open my suitcase, and - bless the staff - they offered to store/repack my luggage in the common area) and obviously dark and Ill-ventilated. the bathroom has seen much better times and wasn’t the cleanest. ended up finding a real hotel near main station for the same price (!!!) from where I could take the blue line to Nangang.
- Codilan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- 俞靜 (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable place, worth staying and cat so cute😍
- Cheung (4/5): Not recommended - CP值不高,room is super small, the ceiling and the floor is dirty, the slipper provided is not sterilised (you are not allowed to wear your own shoes in the lobby)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - 老闆很熱情,住一宿隔天精神飽滿。
- Verified traveler (2/5): One of the worst places I stayed - Being a long time resident of Taipei, I knew lthe location of the hotel : More than a dozen bus routes stop in front of the hotel, subway MRT stop is 700 meter away, plenty of food / restaurants within 150 meter. Overall it is convenient for a visitor, though noisy and air pollution due to the traffic.
The hotel was unexpectedly poor. It was converted from an old Taiwan thorough, or townhouse, narrow hallways, turning steps, and little moving space everywhere. It worsened the situation by piling unrelated stuff, lamps, shelfs, piles.. in the hallway. No way to turn on them but take much space.
The worst is its management. All guests are required to remove shoes and keep in an open shelf next to the manager desk, to keep the floor clean I guess. The only lighted living space, next to the manager desk is closed at 10 PM. Afterwards guests can only stay in bed, in toilet, shower, or on a rooftop space of 150 square ft, without air conditioning.
I departed at 6 AM,, while still dark outside. To my surprise, the whole space, from manager desk, living space, shoe shelf were without light. The wall was cramped that I had no way to find a light switch. Later the staff confirmed keeping all dark after 10 PM is store regular practice. No hotel sttaff at premise until 10 AM.
.
This hotel is a shame of Taipei hotels. It treats guests like cattle on a range. I question how long it has operated, and I believe it should not exist in Taipei this way.
