- Caroline (8/5): Was very convenient for me and had uncover parking - My mother and her partner were staying in the caravan park behind the motel so it made it easy to catch up with them The pillows and bed were uncomfortable for me and the shower head hardly had any water come out of it and no shelf/ soap dish to put your soap in while having a shower

The bed was a little soft for me & the pillows were very hard & high(standard) for me, but hubby loved it. Having a comfy lounge & a table & chairs was a bonus. The shower was hot & the kitchen facilities above expectations. Clean & comfortable. We were on the ground floor as requested, the furnishings have been recently updated. Would stay again. The only problem we had issues with was finding the laundry, which we found on the last day. An updated list or map of local eateries & clubs would come in handy too, some we tried were closed. The all-you-can eat Chinese place opp the station is recommended. Basic but the food was great.

There were ants in the bathroom but this was sorted pretty quickly. If you aren’t fit or have a heavy bag then request a ground floor unit as the stairs are quite steep.

- Emma (10/5): Comfy beds, great shower, fantastic stay! - Easy to find and great location. The beds were comfy and the room was so quiet. Air cons in both rooms to keep us nice and cool in the spring heat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was big and the shower was one of the best we have had at a motel! Would stay here again!

- Marlene Manto (7/5): Solo traveller....getting to know Emerald - Good sized unit with a comfortable bed. Clean, and a very useful kitchenette including a good-sized fridge. Perfect for a traveller who needs to carry food on the journey for a medical diet. Easy parking out the front. The lighting needs to be addressed. With no bedlamps and no floor light, the only alternative to having four ceiling lights blazing was to leave the bathroom light (and fan) on. The extraction hood for the stove was held in place with duct tape.

In saying that it was the wheelchair accessible room but great all the same I didn’t like having to go to a designated smoking area. I understand not being able to smoke outside a room but it was a long walk for a smoke

- Andrew (10/5): Great stay at Abode37, Emerald - This Motel had everything you need when travelling. Well planned, laid out and comfortable with a small very usable kitchenette. They also had great laundry facilities. Staff were also very helpful and polite. By far the best accommodation on our trip to date. We had some issues with the AC, but that could have been operator error!
