Guest Reviews
- james (6/5): - This hotel has pictures on the expedia website showing a bar, restaurant and pool tables. No such thing exists and has not existed in years. They have no coffee in the rooms and none in the office. It is an old place that is quite "tattered" for lack of a better word. The price is very low but so are much nicer places in dodge city. Dodge city itself is a disappointment as well. The whole place is very run down with little to do.
- Debaura (2/5): - Dingy and in need up update and many repairs. A semi trailer was parked 10 feet outside our window blocking out all sunlight and view.
- anna (8/5): - Easy book in, really really helpful staff.
Comfy bed and great shower. Clean room, great tv.
Had to take coffee in with us, but thats a small thing. Good stay, thank you.
- jennifer (2/5): - The photos on the website where the reason why we booked the room only to get there and find out that nothing was there and there was no swimming pool no pool table nothing very disappointed for as much as I spent it was very old but the staff was nice
- Martin (2/5): You get what you pay for.. - This place needs a face lift. Outdated furniture, dirty room, maybe dirty sheets..I left a night early as I could not stay another night. Would not stay here again.
- Justin (6/5): - Cockroaches were everywhere
- Shirley (8/5): - It was clean
- Amanda (6/5): Mixed review - The bed was comfortable but it wasn’t very clean. It was somewhat quieter than some of the other hotels on our trip, but still not completely quiet. I’d give the place a mixed review.
- Ray (6/5): - need to remodel more on outside of building, new tub-shower replacement and better signage to complex. was clean and liked wood floors. maid service was good and liked the fluffy towels.
- dennis (2/5): - One of our room had no towels. Couldnt reach front desk to have this taken care of. Property is run down and needs attention
- Ellen (2/5): - I hate to do this. Our room was not clean. The dresser top needed some serious cleaning. It was so sticky on top that i layed my card on it overnight it was stuck to the dresser. The bed was nice. Needs some serious cleaning and updates. Also hard to find
- Brian (10/5): - The staff was incredibly accomodating and friendly. The room was much nicer than chain hotel rooms I've stayed in and paid more for.
- Matthew (2/5): - We had a horrible experience, we set a reservation nearly a month in advance. We get there after driving 14 hours that day. We go to check in at 9:30pm and no one is there and the office door is locked. We ended up calling the hotel and the lady who was watching the lobby came over and unlocked the door and tried to get us check in. She explained that she is not the one who does the check in stuff and was watching the office till the lady who was supposed to be there showed up. So she was helpful and truly tried to help us. The other people had the bookings so messed up it was a hassle for her to figure it out. So once she got the room number that we where supposed to be in she gets us our key, we proceed to get our stuff and head to our room, we open the door and when we look inside there was someone else's stuff on the beds and the tv was on. So we call the lady that was helping us told her there was someone elses stuff in there tho we did not see anyone. So she calls her bosses and tries to figure out what is gong on turns out they double booked some rooms so we are out of a room to stay in for the night and have to continue our drive another 15 hours with no sleep. We would never book here agin or recommend this place to anyone I would go as far as warning people to seek other arrangements.
- Sylvia (8/5): Needs improvement - The Motel needs some serious remodeling or home improvements. Roof look as if it iy could fall in. Room walls had some noticabpe damage. Carpet needs to be replaced. Siding needs replacing. Main door to rooms is not secure. The lady that worked the desk was very friendly and helpful.
- Gabe (10/5): Simple and good. - Comfortable basic room. The property seems to be undergoing a transition so some stuff is rough around the edges. Clean and very nice staff.
- John W (4/5): - The room was fairly clean, however, the property was rundown and hard to find with hardly any parking. However, the lady working the desk was very friendly and polite. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It's a hotel within another hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We arrived at the property late and the attendants were sleeping. The got a room that had stained bedsheets and the window blinds were partially hanging on the curtain rod. Went back to the office and complained and was told tbat tbe bed sheets were guaranteed to be clean but stains happen. WE IMMEDIATELY LEFT THE PLACE and found somewhere else to stay..
- Cassie (6/5): - The hotel is in need of updates. You could tell effort had been made to clean the shower but it was rather hopeless. Our mattresses were old spring mattresses.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and comfortable
- Robert (6/5): - No hot water
- Steve (10/5): 👍 - Great little hotel for the money
- Gene (8/5): - Comfy bed. Non smoking room had a cigarette smell. Nice size room. Needs a makeover
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The little hotel was rustic and quaint. Clean and conveniently located, although just a little hard to find at first.
- Michael (8/5): - Large room with comfortable bed and good A/C. Cable tv. Shower could have used hotter water. Friendly staff. Close to all the major Dodge City sites.
- Mike or angela (10/5): Very good stay. - We were great by a beautiful young lady that was very friendly and did all she could do to make our stay pleasurable. Rooms clean and very quiet.
- Robert (8/5): - Stay was good but ran out of hot water
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's a bit run down. However the young couple running it are doing the best they can at this time of the virus. It's clean and hopefully when they can get it spruced up will be better. Loved the brands on the wood in the room.
- Shawntel (10/5): Awesome - Very lax clean and comfy
- Jeff (2/5): Abboid at all costs. - Punishment for my sins in a prior life.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - For the price it was a good one nighter. It was close to a lot of places to eat.
- Kathy (10/5): Best stay ... great value - Great stay little quiet hotel!! Beds were comfortable. Manager was great! Also affordable! Great place but doesn’t have a casino but one around the block!
- Joe E (6/5): broken - So so. Window was broken and would not lock
- Amanda (6/5): - It was fine. The rooms were clean. The restaurant hours are different than it says on the web page. There is no casino there.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - was told breakfast would be served IT WAS NOT AVALIBLE not enough towels couldn't find manager once she got my monet
- Mindy (10/5): Awsome place to stay - This was an amazing place to stay. Reasonable price and the staff was wonderful. They ? Made me feel so welcom upon check in and check out. I would highly recommend it. I will deffintly be staying there next time I am in dodge city.
- Burke (6/5): Dodge City Stay - The room could have been a little cleaner in the bathroom
- darren (8/5): Good for the price - You get what you pay for rooms are clean and large It’s quiet nice television. Takes long time to check in WiFi is pretty good considering it’s free
You require way to much here should not have to put this much into the area
- Jeffrey (8/5): Honeymoon - Best night on our week long honeymoon!
- GARY (8/5): Needs a little more work - The hotel is in the middle of a remodel so there were things that still needed done but overall it was acceptable
- Esther (8/5): Come stay in Dodge - Dodge City is trying to improve their tourist services. This hotel is making improvements to the rooms and a great job was done. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. There aren't any front desk services. The manager of the hotel was attentive and friendly. Restaurants are close as is a couple of gas stations that sell coffee and rolls for breakfast. We would stay here again.
- Rhett (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!!! - DO NOT STAY HERE. We stayed a total of 5 minutes. Ad said they was a casino and nightclub. Neither was there. Walked down smoke filled hallway to room. Room Door wasn't even shut. Room was filthy and didn't feel safe staying there. Not recommended to stay.
- Bill (4/5): The bed was clean. - Over all my experience was OK. The facilities showed ware and tare and things should have been cleaner.
- Jack (6/5): Decent hotel - The hotel was average for the type of business I was going for. The only problem was the room smelled and I had to open the window. I couldn't tell if it was the ac unit or something in the room. The front desk was very helpful in taking care of me but was a little confusing on payout. I was informed I could pay cash and a card at checkout, but when time to check out told me it was paid with the card. I was a bit upset because he told me one thing and turned around and said something else after I asked him three times can I pay half cash and half card at check out.
Overall this was a good hotel for single business people but for families stay away because the hotel is not that great.
- Texas ST (6/5): Good Place for an Overnight Stay - Needed a place to stay overnight on a long road trip. The hotel is not fancy but the airconditioning felt good after a 100 degree day and the bed was comfortable. The manager was very accommodating. Also the motel has free Wifi.
- jerry (4/5): No one at the desk - Had to go to hotel next door to get checked in to get room key
room had not yet been cleaned
desk closed
no one to help
cleaning lady and her children could not speak English
nearly 6:30 when we got into room
not too happy
- mom (6/5): Decent for the price - Office was hard to find, but rooms were fairly large and were clean. Indoor pool at the Days Inn was available for use for Knoght's in Guests which was a bonus.
- Andrea C. (6/5): Boyfriend and girlfriend trip - The hotel is cheap and ok for the price. It is located in the heart of Dodge City near the attractions.
- Verified traveler (2/5): no hot water no breakfast
- the room was clean and comfortable but there was no hot water and there was no continental breakfast in the morning as promised in the expedia ad. I asked about it and the staff claimed the hot water worked, but it didn't.
- Verified traveler (8/5): nice staff, easy to find - We arrived late at night as we had said we would and he waited up for us and got us an extra blanket.
- JT (4/5): Needs repair - There were holes in the shower like they replaced the faucets but place spackle in the large holes and used textured tape to cover. The door to the room wouldn't shut. Room had drafts.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Some remodeling completed, still more needed; but for the price, it was okay. Conveniently located.
- Frank Hall (2/5): - I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Although the host was very nice the room was dirty and dingy. There were dead bugs on the base if the lamp stand and the shelf in the closet area had black dust on it and some leftover pennies. I am not a hotel snob and pretty much need a clean bed and decent shower but I was definitely uncomfortable.
- David (10/5): - Room was clean and updated, and Motel location was close to dwntown.
- Tricia (4/5): What you would expect for the price - Wouldn't stay here again.
- Sleepy Golfer (4/5): Puppy barking - We just needed a room to sleep and leave early in the morning. The room was clean. However, close by was a room that had a very young puppy whining and barking. Later we found out that the puppy's owner had left the room. When we asked for something to be done, they said they contacted the owner. However, after 3 hours of nonstop puppy, we left to go to another motel. (Not the puppy's fault. Owner's fault! We have traveled with a puppy----no problem if you stay with them!))
