- JAVIER (6/5): - It is a good hotel for the price
- Chelsea (10/5): Awesome experience will definitely be going back again! - We had a jacuzzi in our room so we didn’t have to go outside the room and be comfortable all night. There’s nothing I have to complain about.
- Kristen (2/5): - Not clean
- Esperanza (10/5): Comfort Inn was definitely comfy for me and my family. - We stayed for 2 days close to the highway and restaurants super close by. Staff was the best definitely coming back and relax on their comfy beds and cold room. Nothing I didn’t like me and my family loved it.

- Ruple (10/5): Exceptional - The sofa and arm chair were nice to be able to relax in. Needs a bit more attention to detail as there was quite a bit of dust on tv, lamp, and several other places I noticed. Wouldn't hurt to vacuum it a bit better and one of the first things I noticed was an empty candy wrapper from a previous occupant

- Zayna (9/5): We stayed for one short night but will definitely be staying again while visiting family. - The room was nice & spacious! Beds were cozy! Front desk was great! Breakfast wasn’t the best because there was hardly any options and the coffee wasn’t very good. Easy fix though!
- Ernest (1/5): Disappointed - No hot breakfast staff was very slow, asked the staff if they would restock the food. 30 mins later had to ask again and the staff did a shift change, they did not brief each other, nor did they come and check the breakfast bar. Waited 15 mins longer to finally get some breakfast. Breakfast, pool a reason we pick this location, pool was dirty not clean, very disappointed.
- Cifuentes (9/5): Superb -
- .chavez (9/5): will be staying here again on our next Mexico/Texas trip - The rooms were clean and beds were comfy.

- Naomi (6/5): The location was the best for our needs. And we enjoyed our stay. - The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was very good. There weren’t any safety bars in the bath tub. I was disappointed in the pool as it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.

- M (7/5): Room was clean, quiet, well maintained, a solid 7/10, everything you need, nothing extra. - close to highway, easy access, night time checkin girl was utterly delightful & sweet. The 2 men working Thru the day, not so much. Ruby & her husband, the chambermaid were a delight, also very friendly and helpful. They are blessed to have these 3 staff people. The breakfast was bare minimum, felt like they counted the bread to 6 pieces, 4 pieces of fruit & kept the rest of the offerings, tight. The 2 men, st the front desk, Mike & perhaps the franchisee owner were not friendly, made effort to avoid eye contact & kept their heads in their computer screens.
- Alvarez (10/5): was great good people - location good view
- Anna (6/5): need to deep clean more often !! - it’s was in a nice location the room was smelly and the restroom was very dirty
- M (5/5): Barbara at the front desk was an absolute delight, sweet friendly and accomadatimg. Ruby & her husband Chris, chambe - The property is close to the Hwy. It is obvious the mgmt is providing bare bones at breakfast, unlike any other hotel, items are rationed or not provided at all. bread, muffins, bagels are less than 1/3 full, no fruit offered at all, multiple mornings, It is bare bones.
- Cathie (9/5): awesome. will stay again. - close to highway, good size room. comfortable beds. carpet floor. fridge away from sleeping area!!!
- Jessica (10/5): Traveling to Mexico in the day time - We arrived late and the staff was so friendly and responsible that I forgot my cell phone at the front desk, I did called and asked for toothpaste as I forgot it at home and he provided some and also told me that my IPhone 13 pro was left behind.
This is the phone I use for work, so I really apréciate him for being such a responsible, honest and friendly.
Also the comfort of the bed……. Was amazing! All was excellent
- Melissa (5/5): Passable -
- Brenda (4/5): Will not stay again. - The staff was accommodating by letting us in the room early and getting it ready for us. Beds were good! Worn looking. Tile in the bathroom broken and in need of grout. Shower floor was sticky. Notepad has food and drink on it. Seat in lobby very worn. Breakfast was horrible. Hardly anything put out and no utensils put out. Just decided not to eat.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juana (10/5): Exceptional - First time I stayed here! Loved it!!!
- Jeferson (6/5): Decent - Big clean room that was comfortable Breakfast was poor and limited. Needs night shades on windows with the bright lights outside.
- Mendez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mario (9/5): Superb - The room is clean and comfortable, water was warm, a little too hot for my wife. Very quiet had a good night's rest. Was disappointed that for breakfast there wasn't any eggs left or fresh fruit. All they had was cereal and a couple of bagels and coffee. The man at the reception was kindly enough to give us milk which was all that was left. All that was an 1hr before breakfast ended. The room was great, but work on keeping up with breakfast for the rest of the guests.
- Mendez (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Courtenay (7/5): Good -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Juan (10/5): - Todo excelente
- Jeannette (10/5): Exceptional - it was good! housekeeping walked in while i was asleep so idk 🚩🚩🚩
- Dulce (10/5): - Convenient location. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Good to have a Starbucks in the Lobby.
- Erika (10/5): - Ample and clean space for 5 people, good customer service and good breakfast. Didn't check workout room/pool or laundry area.
- Craig (8/5): - Breakfast @ 7:00, but by 7:30 there was almost no food left to eat, and no forks to eat what little there was.
- Richard (2/5): - I travel and stay in hotels all of the time, and personally, have never stayed in a room as dirty as it was. Please note that this is the FIRST TIME that I am actually writing a review, and I stay in dozens of hotels each year. It just snowballed and needs to be addressed.
-The couch was destroyed, but in their defense, they made it clear about this during check-in. They could have at least cleaned off the food, crumbs, and stains
-Curtains had stains and "something" all over them
-Walls and trim were stained and honestly "nasty"
-Drawers were unusable because of crumbs and gunk
-Hairs in the tub/shower
-tub had mold around it
-Under the sink (see while using the toilet) was nasty
-The lamps, clock, lights, counters all had different stains, and old foods or something on them. Could easily be cleaned off.
-Bed had stains and many black hairs on it, and in between the sheets. The room was gross, but after all of this, I asked them to please come to change the sheets, because I was not sleeping on the hair. They brought me the sheets and told me that I must change them because that is not their job, yup, you heard me right.
This was my breaking point. I said okay, changed my sheets, then spoke to the manager about it in the morning. I wasn't looking for a refund, but the manager offered me $50.00 off of my $130 per night rate, which I never received.
I would highly recommend staying clear of this hotel - see my pictures to make your own decision.
- Leonard (10/5): - Awesome!
- Martha (8/5): A break on the midway - Easy check in. Quiet, clean stay.
- 1breanar45 (10/5): Great location, Really pleasant and clean rooms - If you are thinking where to stay around in this area. Just go to Comfort Suites. It was a lovely place with clean rooms. Absolutely perfect for everyone. Facilities was too good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I got great service for the money and surely return without a doubt. Happily give 5 star reviews
- Jeremy (10/5): otulla - Great hotel. Surprised at how the quality of Choice Hotels has gotten so good. I would expect to pay much more for this hotel
- Angelita (10/5): - Everything was very clean and very nice people who work there.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay but no so good breakfast - the room and stay were very nice. The breakfast provided could have been better. Eggs were burnt, sausage seemed raw and cold. Had to wait long periods to make a waffle due to only one waffle maker. not a very big selection
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excelente lugar para descansar. Cuarto amplio y comodo
- Bretta (10/5): Very Pleased - Hotel was great overall. Had 2 very small issues which were addressed to my satisfaction by hotel staff. Very pleased. Will stay here when we come again next month.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly and clean - Very friendly staff with nice clean rooms
- Jeremy (8/5): - The bed was too hard. impressed that the kitchen used real eggs for breakfast
- Libby (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable room. Friendly and accomodating staff. Breakfast was awesome but needed more variety of fruit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We booked this hotel cause of the pool but when we got there the pool was dirty and we were unable to use it
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean - Great hotel
- Michael (6/5): Typical Comfort Suites - Nothing to write home to mother about; however, I did especially like the pillows. The room's HVAC unit was unusually loud.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok hotel - The hotel is ok for the price you pay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - No frills hotel in an oil boom area. Overall it's good place to spend a night
- Mikki (8/5): Family trip - Stay was great
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful experience! Pet friendly! Super clean! Staff has great manners!
- Shanna (10/5): Nice - Super nice staff. Rooms very clean
- Paul (6/5): - Out of the two days that we stayed there we did without a TV for one of them. Could have been a little bit more cleaner just little things...
- Lalo (10/5): Nice hotel and comfortable. - One of the best hotels in town. Comfortable and quiet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Michael (6/5): I'll stay somewhere else next time - In my room the TV didn't work very well at all and the hair drier didn't work. There were a number of unrepaired small holes in the walls and a few spots with chips in the paint. There are better choices to stay at nearby
- Toastman (10/5): A Reliable Choice with Helpful Owners - The Comfort Suites is a reliable chain situated among many others in the same area. The property was well maintained and the rooms cleaner than other hotels in the area we've tried. This one seems family owned and the staff was all real nice. We got a king room, nicely appointed with granite vanity tops, microwave, and small fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The furniture and couches, also very nice, and CLEAN. Fairly situated near the elevator, the room was still extremely quiet.
Free breakfast included is all what you might expect for these types of hotels. (breads, yogurts, cereals, fruit, hot scrambled eggs, and sausage patties. And of course waffles). You don't deviate too much from this menu in a free breakfast place really unless you go with a Holiday Inn Express or something. The seating and eating area is very nice too and there's an office area if you need to use a computer and printer. While usually I stay at the Microtel nearby, they were booked and so I went with the Comfort Suites. Very happy I did and will now probably change over for my reliable hotel choice.

- Robert (2/5): Do not recommend rude front desk staff - So disappointed by extremely rude front desk couple. Multiple times witnessed and experienced rudeness including also being surprised with a huge pet charge after checking out and arriving home even though the site said pets stay free. Hotels.com searched & we found @ the bottom of the site in tiny print that there is a pet fee. Also when we arrived we were told that our oldest son was an extra $60. After being tired and evacuating for Hurricane Harvey we reluctantly paid for my oldest son since they were considering him to be an "adult". I wouldn't recommend staying here. We also asked for a blanket for sleeper sofa & we were handed 1 sheet for our youngest son to use. We saw plenty of clean blankets as we passed down the hall to do our laundry on a door with an open room. We went out and bought our own toiletries because we were frustrated with even asking for anything and being greeted consistently by rudeness. We also saw front desk staff tell someone loudly their credit card was declined. Also when we went to check out they were on phone arguing with another desk. Seems like a lot of drama there and I would choose elsewhere to stay happily. I travel often and have never had this experience. I am also a property manager & never treat our guests EVER rudely even if they are frustrated or upset. Even the rep from hotels.com called to ask something about our charge & they were not treated nicely. Of course we haven't seen a dime of a promised partial refund.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hurricane Harvey - The staff could not have treated us nicer, they opened the door to 11 of us with 2 dogs and never complained.
Thank you from the bottom of out hearts
- E5439LQdan (6/5): fair to middlin - service was ok, but price jump due to hurricane was a gouge. thankfully we didn't have to stay longer than we were booked. actually we left early, but too late not to be charged another day. we will not stay at comfort suites again.
- Eloy (8/5): - Large clean rooms.
- 521arturoa (2/5): Disappointed - When I entered the hotel I was greeted in a friendly way which made me feel welcome. So far so good I thought. The room looked like it needed vacuuming because there were white spots on the carpet which I realized the spots were from when the room was painted.
I know making the bed and vacuuming the room is important but doesn't the owners realize that dusting/sanitizing the shelves, desk tops, end tables and in this room the stove top is very important. The shelves in the bathroom also needed to be cleaned/sanitized.
when I opened the sofa bed it was a disaster. the area where the feet lay looks as though someone went to the bathroom in that area. It was not inviting. I asked for bed sheets and blankets and the only thing the desk clerk good give me was a blanket. No pillow and no bedsheets. It wasn't the desk clerk's fault since she didn't have a key to the room where the bedding was located.
A hell of a night.
Now to breakfast. One thing is to cook eggs and another when you just go through the motions to say there's eggs to eat. Someone should teach the young man at the front desk since it seemed he was also the breakfast cook how to cook eggs. The eggs were over cooked and dry. No oatmeal. The coffee was from some machine(which I won't mention the brand) was a watered down version of coffee. Terrible breakfast.
The only good/great thing about this trip was El Charro Mexican restaurant which is located behind this hotel. I can rave about the quality of food that we ate. Delicioso. Super delicious. this restaurant I do recommend very much.
I will never stay at this restaurant. I should have stayed a the lower price hotel and I probably received better service and breakfast.
I'm surprised that Comfort Suites Company doesn't send people that they contract to check the service and food that each Comfort Suites presents to the public.
I've stayed in other Comfort Suites and have NEVER had this type of terrible experience. I don't recommend this hotel.
- Veronica (4/5): - Room was nice and the breakfast was good but the pool wasn't as big as a normal size pool. There isn't pool lights like it shows in the pictures. The bar isn't open and the wifi is poor! The only service is in the lobby. It's so bad that is was picking up the surrounding wifi connections but wouldn't connect.
