• ROBERT (7/5): Super convenient with super showe, but super small. - The shower power is excellent The location is super convenient, next yo ntr and the Ap Lei Chu street strewned with a many good restaurants. Waterfront walk is great. A lovely neighbourhood. The room is too small, and the shower size. Slim people are fine, bigger people like my husband has to squeeze themselves sidwway taking a shower. So its excellent if you just want a place to sleep and refresh yourself. Staying indoors mean you have to sit or lue on tge bed all the time. For the first few days when we are fighting jetlag, we'd like more space in the room to stretch out or sit sometimes. Oh, and as my husband came to stay alone for 2 weeks in oct, we did ask the hotel to reserve the biggest room posdible for us for oyr stay in dec, and I wrote a couple of weeks b4 our arrival to remibd that, but that didnt seem to have registered.

• Suki (8/5): - easy to access railway network and there is scenic corridor along the sea shore. Free laundrette but need to pre-book to ensure you have a chance to wash clothes. You get what you pay, very tiny apartment, just like a single prisoner cell.
• Colin (9/5): Hotel was in a good location and Room was adequate. - Great location, price was reasonable, room was ‘compact’ staff were very helpful. Good kettle and small fridge in room were very handy. Room started to show signs of aging, paint peeling off walls, corridor walls were in need of attention, Lift was out of use several times and had to use service lift. Water tap in the bathroom was loose, but when staff were notified, rectified quickly.

• Sarah (6/5): You get what you pay for! - I don’t usually book budget but needed to stay near a friend, so haven’t got much to compare it to in the price range. Reception nice. Bed hard as a rock and pillows too. Lights tripped first night but I didn’t mention anything. Wi-Fi didn’t work so had to tether to another room but it was not fully secure and intermittent so had to buy an eSIM. Was not the cleanest - hairs on bathroom floor, marks on walls, stray toothpaste caps under cabinets ( I wasn’t looking!) It’s in need of refurbishment. I’ve added some photos that explain all. No safe so felt I had to keep valuables with me. However it was quiet. Ap lei Chou and Aberdeen are worth an explore. Won’t be booking the blue jay again but I’m sure if you’re on a budget and don’t have much of an expectation and don’t mind no room to even pick up a cat let alone swing it, then this is perfect! I’ve booked into the Fullerton now and have already had a massage to try to bring my back & next back to life after 4 nights on that bed!

• Woon Sun (6/5): - Von Flughafen mit dem Bus A10 oder Metro 🚇 ist sehr einfach zu erreichen ich Reise alleine habe eine doppelt Bett Zimmer in 1 Stock die Zimmer ist sehr klein. (das ist normal in Hongkong )aber ohne eine Stuhl in die Zimmer man muss sofort ins Bett Gehen, die Beleuchtung ist sehr dunkel und die Geruch aus dem Toilettenschüssel ist sehr unangenehm, Kann sein höher Ertrag kann es besser sein.
• Fred (10/5): - The property was right where we came out at the Lei Tung exit from the South Island line. Look UP to see Blue Jay Residences. Like many hotels in Hong Kong, the room is small, but we enjoy seeing how they make the best use of the space they have. There was a fridge and small closet area with a few hangers. What we really enjoyed was the walks around town. More old fashioned and slower paced than HK the city. The waterfront is busy with junks looking for tourist riders as well as nicer boats. Many folks walking, many with dogs. So many benches to enjoy the view from.
• Ben (4/5): You pay for what you get. Hong Kong real estate is expensive. - Right next to the subway entrance Room Way too small. Room entrance too small for two person to stand at the same time. Bed is too small, AC difficult to control. Bathroom spotty mold.
• Lugtu (3/5): A night or 2 max stay is ok. - Location at its best! Not enough room to even walk around. The room itself totally needs additional & upgrade its lights. There is a small table just enough to put small things.
• Chi (2/5): - Convenient location if you use MTR. But the room is extremely extremely small. It is only suitable for ONE tourist with only a backpack. If you are a big guy, don’t stay here. The bathroom measures 30 inches X 20 inches. You cannot open you luggage except by putting your luggage on your bed.

• Maan (7/5): Tiny apartment but very convenient location - It is very close to public transports (mtr, buses). It is great location when I have family living at South Horizon. There's supermarket, food stalls and bakery within walking distance. The staff do tried their best to meet client requests. As everyone said the place is tiny, especially the bathroom. Really suitable for maximum 1-2 people. Overall it wasn't too bad after a few days adjustment.

• Trevor (5/5): Passable - Great location, all I needed for a couple nights. The sink was clogged. The shower head fell off when I went to adjust it. The siding in the shower was starting to look old, and I remember thinking the bathroom could use some repairs or renovation.

• Christopher (1/5): Not value for money. More hostel than hotel. Black mould. - Location was nice, near waterfront & MTR. 1. Very small room, even by HK standards. Had to store our belongings on the bed, which was wedged between 2 walls. Hotel photos may show a desk but it was more like a ledge. You could not sit there if the door has to be opened. 2. Wifi did not work well. Hotel did nothing when notified, except to tell us to use our neighbour's wifi! 3. Walls & air-con vents had black mould. Very worrying. 4. Air-con - you can ostensibly adjust the temperature & fan speed but the vents are central (ie. not individual air-con unit) and the force & direction could not be controlled. Direct blast on our faces made sleep uncomfortable. We had to have the air-con on as it is summer and all the rooms directly face the rising & setting sun (ie. all day long). 5. Environmentally-unfriendly - they make the air-con too strong, then they provide thick duvets. Waste of energy.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 隔音設備較差 地點方便 - 房間大細預入門口一步就到床，洗手間能容納一個人既，有少許滲水，整體其實性價比係高既，地點方便，又易搭車。不過因為佢有做長期住客，隔音又差既情况下，神咁早六點幾開始隔離個媽咪就開始同仔仔鬥嗌救命，嗌準備岀門口返學嗌到八點左右，完全唔洗瞓。建議長期住户樓層同日租分開返。

Even as a solo traveller, the room was TINY to the point that I had to contort myself on the bed because there was no place to place my luggage but alongside where I slept. It was pure torture for several days. After about a week I couldn't take it any longer and, even though my booking was non-refundable, I moved to a different hotel. They just went way too far in limiting the room size so I cannot recommend this property to anyone.
• Ruby (6/5): - Great location, but that's about it. Steps from the South Island Line stop, 15 minutes from Central. But the rooms are TINY. The hot water didn't work. Hot water pot in the room took so long it wasn't worth it, and can't they provide a packet of instant coffee? And they didn't replace the water in the room. It's fine if judged on price alone. Best not stay there if you have options.

Cerca hay tiendas de comida y lavanderías muy prácticas. Lo único que no me gusto fue el tamaño de la habitación. Bastante pequeña la que me asignaron. El personal tampoco es muy atento al menos en recepción.

The room is really super small; even living alone (with BMI 17) in a twin room is still too small for me; hard to turn around 2. The design of table and seat is stupid; too small to use (again, space issue) 3. The toilet bowl gets clogged easily and basically, there is no ventilation fan; so the smell stays in the room for days..... 4. The room is either always very cold and wet (no ventilation fan), and it's freezing at night The furniture is clean and very modern, but the space is really too small... Location wise is super convenient as it is right next to MTR station. If you stay here, recommend you not to get the smallest room. The location is great though
• SIN YAN (8/5): - 麻雀雖小 五臟俱全 房間細 但的確設備齊全 驚喜是有旅行護理包括 房間設計亦新穎 樓下就有便利店和超市
• Sharon (6/5): 真是相當迷你的酒店 - 房間細小是可以理解的，因為是迷你酒店。但浴室太迷你真的有點難度，洗澡和如厠都要相當小心，不然會很容易手腳碰撞牆壁或趟門。
