- Cherrise (7/5): Great associates and conveniently located. - The team members were all very helpful and made us feel like they were genuinely interested in us and any queries we had. Breakfast offerings were satisfactory. The location was absolutely fantastic. Multiple food options, close to a Super Walmart, malls, and easy access to catch the bus. Though the room was quiet, the air conditioning unit was very loud. More lights are needed in the room. The room could use some upgrading, but it was clean.

- S6085FZjaya (2/5): Disappointing Service at the Front Desk - Disappointing Service at the Front Desk I am writing this to highlight a disappointing interaction I had with the front desk staff, specifically Henry. As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, I was taken aback by his tone and lack of professional manner. On February 8th, around 11:45pm. I stopped by the desk to see if the market had toothpaste available. Henry informed me they did not, but provided a small, single-use packet. When I realized it was only enough for one person and politely asked for a second one (as there are two guests in my room), he responded with an audible sense of annoyance. He remarked that I "should have asked for two from the beginning," as if I were expected to know the exact size of the packet he was handing me before seeing it. Instead of a helpful interaction, I was made to feel like a bother. A guest should never be made to feel guilty for asking for a basic necessity. I hope management provides additional training on guest relations and tone, as this interaction significantly impacted my experience at this property.

Il y avait du pain sans gluten au déjeuner. Dans le corridor et dans la chambre sentait beaucoup de cannabis. Odeur non supportable surtout quand on est avec des enfants. Comme la chambre n’est pas bien isolée du corridor (fentes entre la porte et le cadre de la porte) toute l’odeur va dans les chambres. Nous avons demandé le changement d’étage et de la chambre à 23h. Nous avons réservé pour trois jours et les serviettes n’ont pas été remplacées pour ces jours, aucun nettoyage de la chambre ou des toilettes. La deuxième chambre que nous avons eu n’était pas bien nettoyée. Très déçus de notre séjour.

- Szabolcs (6/5): This could be a great value hotel, but in high season it is not - The hotel is typically good value for money (but not around high season). The rooms, in particular the bathrooms are spacious, basically small apartments with kitchen. NYC/Port Authority Bus Terminal is easily reachable in 20-30 minutes with a direct bus ride (5 USD / person / ride), the bus stop being a few minutes walk away from the hotel. With taxi/car easier and less expensive to reach from Newark airport (by contrast, with public transportation difficult to reach). There is a broad variety of restaurants next to the hotel. Also big Walmart 10 minutes walk away. Around Christmas time (when we traveled) everything in NYC is full and double the price - same here. So at this time, not good value for money. The breakfast is basic, no meat, cheese, or vegetables. Sadly all utensils are made of plastic, producing lots of unnecessary trash. That said, all this seems to be US standard, so maybe I had wrong expectations. The service personnel is understaffed and does not keep up with the guests' consumption, guests waiting in line - again, probably due to high season around Christmas. The rooms did not seem very clean and the furniture has seen better days. All in all, we booked lacking any other options on rather short notice and did not encounter any big problems, but we would not stay here again.

- Harker (6/5): Convenient location, oversold amenities. - Breakfast was fine. Very standard hotel breakfast. The location was good. Easy to get into the city. There are lots of restaurants around the area. The morning staff was quite helpful, but the evening staff, less so. The hallways smell like stale marijuana. The layout in the buffet room is poor and causes unnecessary congestion (People waiting for the waffle maker block the line for hot food, etc.). The pool was unavailable. The room wasn't very clean and we had to ask for hand soap because none was left in the room for us.

Le petit déjeuner est bien, avec des œufs, des pancakes, tortillas, confitures,… L’hôtel est calme, situé au milieu de divers restaurants. Arrêts de bus à 7 minutes à pieds. De 20 à 30 minutes de bus pour rejoindre Manhattan selon le traffic, c’était top. Le canapé-lit n’était vraiment pas confortable.

- RPH03 (10/5): Very nice stay. Friendly staff ans safe area. - The Residence Inn in Secaucus was wonderful. I would like to give a special shout-out to Ms. Gayle—her communication was always professional and reliable. After we checked out, we realized we had forgotten some of our Christmas gifts in the room. I called her, and she kindly reactivated our room key so we could retrieve them. The location felt very safe. We normally stay in NYC, but this time we traveled with our pets, and this hotel was perfect—spacious and comfortable, with enough room for our pets to walk around. Keep in mind it is around 40 minutes with traffic with Lyft cost around $50 each way. The only improvement I would suggest is regarding the breakfast station. It was narrow, and the line became very long due to guests waiting for the waffle maker. I would recommend setting the waffle station aside, similar to how Hampton Inn does it, rather than placing it in line with the other food items. We waited quite a while just to reach the eggs.

- Brenda (8/5): Great hotel, great location! - The front desk staff were very nice and helpful! It was in a great location and you could walk to find places to eat. There was pretty good security at night, the lobby was bright and clean, the room was nice and big and the bed was clean and comfortable. Our room was quiet and had a pretty nice view. The breakfast bar had a good variety of options. Overall our stay was very pleasant and we’d be happy to visit again. The only complaints we have is that there aren’t many rooms that have two separate beds. Because of this, I had to sleep on the pull out sofa. It was so uncomfortable (extremely thin mattress that was sunken in the middle so you could feel all the springs and metal support beams) that I ended up getting into the larger bed in the middle of the night and sleeping with the other guest. I also noticed that when I pulled the cushions off the couch, that there were some crumbs that had fallen onto the mattress I was going to be sleeping on. It felt unclean and made the sleeping experience even more unpleasant. I will say that the sheets and pillows they provided were very clean and fresh.

Un autre élément assez embêtant est que nous avons réservé une chambre pour 3 et que seul le lit double était préparer. Le canapé-lit n'était pas prêt à accueillir la troisième personne.

It should encompass guest specific needs food .Also should also include the arrival time food availability for the guests. No food and water to drink availability for guests arriving late night. Language was a major barrier for some guests . Your managers are not compatible in language proficiency to handle international guests as NYC is cosmopolitan city .in Dubai managers are more multi tasking . The are more good at addressing customer needs like App downloads , food ordering online which is missing in your staff.

- Schneider (8/5): Nice stay with minor problems - The ladies at reception were very nice! The room was very large and we had our own kitchen and even a dishwasher. There was also a laundry room for hotel guests and an indoor pool. New York can be reached by bus within 20-30 minutes. So far, everything was great. Unfortunately, the bed was worn out and the room was not cleaned daily, which is why we had to ask for new towels at the reception desk.

- Verified traveler (10/5): This is what a hotel experience should be - The staff was very friendly, the room and "common areas" were clean, and this is by far the quietest hotel I've stayed in. No sound from adjacent rooms, or traffic in the hall. Staying here may be the best I've slept in years, and I typically don't do well away from home. Zero complaints and would definitely stay here again.

- Rosemarie (4/5): Could have been cleaner - Employees were very nice, however the room was not very clean. We had a room with the kitchenette and the entire counter was sticky and was not turned over with fresh creamer coffee etc. the shower fan did not work making it extremely hard for a family of 4 to get ready. We needed use of the sofa bed and there was no sheet to cover the mattress that was stained. There must have been a party that had an overflow of garbage that accumulated by the elevator mid day Saturday. On Sunday morning after 10pm it was still there. It was embarrassing to use the elevator’s as they smelt like marijuana. Coming out of them with a family and a family coming into the elevator with older couples it made it seem like we smelt. Hotel should analyze occupancy and increase janitorial staff when needed

- Verified traveler (4/5): Poor choice for a family - Our experience was a poor one. The first room we got was covered in dog hair . The next room had way too much mold in the bathroom. Black and pink mild all over it was sad. I couldn't let me kids shower in that. The breakfast was mediocre. The place seemed very dismal.

- Joanna (4/5): - I checked in; was only there for an hour due to an emergency that came about. My fam and I had to immediately leave and head back to MD. I let the front desk know and called the next morning to speak to a supervisor about my situation. I was hoping for a partial refund or points of some sort bec my stay was cut short. I was told by the front desk initially to contact Expedia which I did but there was no remorse whatsoever after speaking to the supervisor (Shavon Honor). Being a supervisor I would think you would be more sympathetic and willing to assist in any way
- Erick (10/5): - Marriott always comes through! The room was super comfortable and exactly what I needed to relax. I hit the gym a few times while I was there — they mostly had dumbbells and a couple of treadmills, nothing fancy, but it was enough for me to get a good workout in. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower, which was a little weaker than I’m used to, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it was a really great stay and I’d definitely come back again.

The morning breakfast area had flies buzzing around. For the price they charge, it should be updated. Otherwise, it would be great.

Very professional, helpful and extremely knowledgeable concerning the area. Great customer service! I’ll definitely be back again. Rooms were clean, pool is good but small. My children really enjoyed themselves. Overall a great experience.

They were always ready with good tips and help! Perfect. Beautiful apartment. Modern, great kitchen. A bus runs near the hotel to Manhattan. 20-minute ride for $9.50 round trip! There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a cinema complex, and a Walmart 800 meters away. Quiet surroundings. Perfect location. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. The breakfast was also very extensive and delicious. Nothing was missing: waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, juice, toast, etc. Coordination with cleaning and housekeeping is unusually complicated. This should be improved. There is no shower or changing room at the pool
- Steve (8/5): Good overall value. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Large hotel room with a good kitchen. Breakfast is quite good for being included as part of the deal. The location of the hotel is quiet yet close to NY by bus. Too many broken pieces of equipment in the gym. Couldn't see the bottom of a shallow pool so no-one risked swimming in that water. Pillows are way too soft. Bed quite soft too.
