Edith (4/5): - Il y a eu une odeur de poisson du début jusqu'à la fin de notre séjour. La réception ne nous ont pas offert de changer de chambre, ils sont venu mettre un spray seulement. C'est très bruyant, on attends les chaise au dessus des chambres. Et pendant notre séjour il y eu 2 autobus de jeunes et l'hôtel les a laissé festoyer toute la nuit

The correct number is +351 282 400309. We arrived at 1pm and fortunately they accommodated our request for an early check-in. The apartment was spacious with a nice view over the pool towards the ocean. Great bathroom and comfortable beds. We were disappointed there was not a coffee maker in the kitchen. The pool was nice with plenty of chaise lounges.

Billinda (6/5): - Overall a good basic stay. The ac is not great as it doesn’t reach bedrooms and the elevators only fit 2-3 people without luggage. But overall, great locations, very clean, great size apartment and great pool, outdoor lounge space and games room.

Not to miss the great bakery on the next street. Several restaurants very close by for lunch/dinner . The staff were very helpful.

Négatif : pas de machine à café ni dans les chambres ni dans le hall, avec un bébé nous aurions apprécié du café plutôt. Casse croûte ouvre à 9 h pour le café un peu tard. Confort lit très moyen. Secteur bruyant jusqu’à minuit , une heure am. Et tôt le matin. Par contre près de la plage et d’une rue animée pour les soirées et de bons restaurants.

Amanda (10/5): - This hotel had a lot of space, with nice apartment style rooms. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the terrace and the view from the room. There is a great pool. This is walking distance to the ocean and beaches but we didn't love the area because it is so busy and touristy. The hotel itself was amazing. Good internet too.

Ross (8/5): - Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Have stayed in Praia da Rocha several times before but never at Flor da Rocha. Only disadvantages, staying in late March the balcony always seemed to be in the shade. At no point, even on the sunny warmer days was it ever a sun trap. Think this is due to the other buildings close by and the shape of the building itself. Other disadvantage, which isn't the apartments fault are some of the other guests. Sound proofing between apartments isn't great (fairly typical for holiday apartments) and some guests are less than considerate to their fellow guests. Thankfully they went out to the clubs around 23:30 so it quietened down then. When I booked I thought for the price the apartment compared to others in the resort were very reasonable priced. Of course, this means that the younger groups also find them good value.

However, not sure if this is because we stayed during slower season in October, all hallways lights were off no matter the time of day- both morning and night, and I thought I was in a horror movie walking down the halls.

Michelle (8/5): - Stayed 4 nights in Flor da Rocha. Property is beautiful as well as grounds and pool area. Staff was friendly. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment for 6. Having 1 bathroom was difficult, but we made it work. Air conditioner only in the shared living area so bedrooms get warm and having the patio doors open proved a bit noisy at nighttime. Otherwise pretty quiet given the area is away from the main walking drag of shops etc. it is on an end of the main Praia da rocha and close to Praia das 3 castelos. Would definitely stay here again based on convenience of location and amenities.

Hotels.com checked the communication and said that it was delivered. They seem to have an inefficient system of dealing with clients. Very noisy area, suffice to say that we had sleepless nights. Very uncomfortable stay and would not recommend this place to anyone. Better value somewhere else.

In the tidy and cozy apartment you can cook yourself in the kitchen, but a bit more kitchen aids would be nice. Balcony is big enough. The pool area is good, with some food options like bakerys and pizza and hot and cold drinks, some background music. Just 5 minute walk to the beach and somewhat calm outside during october season.
Miss S O (10/5): Amazing apartments & hotel - I booked this as a last minute 1 night stay as our flight home had been cancelled and I wish I'd booked this from the off. Check in is from 4 but due to us moving hotels we arrived around 12, we knew we wouldn't be able to check in and was happy waiting around at the pool while our room was prepared, less than 5 minutes of being at the pool and a lady from reception came down to say out room was ready. Amazing apartment, we had a 1 bedroom. Very clean and modern. Plenty of space. Everything you need in them. Lovely big clean reception area with friendly staff. Bar down at the pool area where you can get drinks and snack. Few games down there too. I would 100% recommend this hotel and we'll definitely return.
Luis (10/5): - This was a definite A for us , loved how clean and modern this was , but if I have to complain on something it would the the Beds , that we were not impressed we were hoping for one double bed at least but we got 2 single beds which we understand is typical for here but they were not comfortable to sleep , that was the only down fall the rest A from the Hotel to pool to grounds and to the coffee / Bar by the Pool just loved , we will return and hopefully they can do something about the Beds

Requested that we change rooms, to be told nothing could be done until morning. In the morning it was suggested cleaners have a look…I stood my ground and request a new apartment, finally got changed. No entertainment at night. Corridors very dark and had to find light switches to get to rooms was difficult.

René (8/5): Bien situé mais attention à l’entretien - C’est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons à Flor Da Rocha. Idéalement situé près de la mer. Pas besoin de la voiture pour aller à la plage ou flâner sur les rues longeant la côte. Quand nous sommes arrivés, le parking était condamné pour élagage. Nous aurions aimé être prévenu car c’était un des critères de réservation. Difficile de se garer dans les rues adjacentes. L’appartement est propre et confortable. La piscine, le bar et les équipements sont biens. Nous avons toutefois remarqué un manque d’entretien générale du bâtiment depuis notre dernière venue il y a 4 ans. Les équipements de cuisine sont minimalistes. Nous dû demander des couverts car pas assez nombreux. La salle de bain manque cruellement de rangement alors qu’il y a de la place pour installer des tablettes et tiroirs.

Jamil (8/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious and very clean (daily cleaning), as is the entire property. The pool area is great, the staff at the reception is wonderful. Reception is like in a good hotel. We were very at ease. The price was excellent for the quality. To note: there was no coffee maker in our unit (not a big deal as we had a kettle and purchased instant coffee), and the street is a little noisy, as are some of the guests, so bring earplugs if you have a light sleep. But really, these were minor inconveniences for us, we give it 2 thumbs up, especially on a budget!

Beautiful beaches! The pool area was spacious, well maintained. Even the poolside toilets were spotlessly clean!!!! We enjoyed every minute and are already planning on returning! The kitchen came with washing up liquid and tea towels, which was great, BUT no tin opener! The beds very very hard and played havoc with my back, but cannot put the apartments down for that!

Verified traveler (10/5): - I am going to Flor da Rocha for the last number of years with two other friends and we loved it from the beginning, so convenient to everything and quiet mostly. I missed some of the older staff this year.
Verified traveler (10/5): - The rooms were very clean and well appointed, pool area was lovely with more than sufficient loungers and good space. While the room prices represented good value for money the bar area was expensive for what you got. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would return again.

Lauren (10/5): Modern and updated - The front desk service was excellent from the moment we checked in and with any questions or concerns we had. The hotel is less than a 10 minutes to the beach. The room was fantastic full working kitchen, pull out sofa, dining table, balcony, and separate bedroom and bathroom with free parking. The pool was beautiful they also have a game room, snack bar, and a little spa. It was so great that we stayed an extra night. Would go back in a heart beat.

Heather (10/5): Great hotel! - Two bedroom apartment was big and modern. Location was close to local beach and parking was easy & free. Hotel employees were helpful and friendly. Only place for improvement was the kitchen wasn't as well stocked as it should be. No soap or scrubbers etc. Also there is some construction nearby that was a bit noisy on weekday mornings. Overall fantastic place and we'd stay there again!
Mr (10/5): Close to stunning beach, restaurants and shops - Very close to beach, restaurants and shops, and very helpful and friendly staff who all speak English.
Verified traveler (6/5): Could have been better - If more time was spent on cleaning the apartments, the overall experience would have been much better. The cleanliness was bellow average particularly on the floor and bathroom - which made us feel uncomfortable. Nevertheless it was average for the rest of the apartment. We know that we arrived on the high peak season while the hotel was fully booked, so this might have affected the cleaning services. The apartments are spacious, with a reasonably equipped kitchenette. Beds were confortable and clean. The living room has a sofa-bed and a big flat screen ( above average) and a dinning area. There’s also a big balcony: however our bedroom was facing a side street, not much solar exposure and there was a building in construction works nearby, so we didn’t use it much. We believe there are better apartments, probably those facing the swimming pool or main entrance. What we enjoyed the most: location ( walking distance to the beach, supermarket, public transports nearby) ,private parking and the swimming pool (great swimming pool)!
