- hue (6/5): - Other than location, no other advantages. Amendities are poor relatively. No phone inside the room. To get any house keeping service, one has to get to the front desk to ask. The night we arrived, it was raining and the semi-exposed corridor to the room was wet and was very dark. Eventhough the staff member was taking us to the room, he did not bother to turn on the lights. Finally the cover tile over drain hole in the shower was broken, creating a hole big enough to trap the big toe and potential injury as a result. Entire room has one trash bin and created inconvence. Bath towels in the bathroom were still slight damp. Lighting in the room and public area is insuffient for safety.

The walls are very thin so any noise in neighboring rooms was very audible (a dog woke us up a few mornings). There is a nespresso machine but none of the cups provided fit in the machine so we had to hold water cups up to it at an angle. Overall a nice stay for a good value.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Oustanding Stay in Condessa Neighborhood - The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. And the unit was cleaned thoroughly each day of our stay. Even though the stackable washer dryer unit was not in the apartment, it was accessible to us during our stay in the building basement without charge. The rootop terrace was pleasant in the evening. And there's a Starbucks conveniently located on the first floor as you enter the lobby.

I would highly recommend the AR218 Hotel to anyone travelling to Mexico City!

We booked the Presidential Terrace Suite, which was beautiful, spotless, and had the most charming outdoor space — perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The room itself was clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The hotel is also in a great location — within walking distance of adorable cafes, great restaurants, and even a cute wine shop. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting CDMX and looking for a cozy, well-located stay with top-notch service!
- Kyesha (8/5): - I stayed at AR 218 for a birthday trip to Mexico City, and while most of the stay was enjoyable, the way things ended really impacted my overall experience. On a positive note, I really appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday — that was a lovely touch and definitely made me feel welcomed. The room was comfortable, and for the most part, the stay went smoothly. However, the morning of check-out was extremely stressful and left a bad taste in my mouth. I stepped out briefly to grab coffee, and when I returned, my room had already been locked. I had to go to the front desk and wait for someone to let me back in, which felt a bit aggressive considering I hadn’t even checked out yet. Then, I started getting checkout notices, and right at exactly 11:00 AM, housekeeping showed up at the door. It felt more like I was being pushed out rather than allowed a normal check-out experience. I was still in the room doing a final check to make sure I hadn’t forgotten anything — and ironically, I ended up having to return because I had left clothes in the closet in all the rush. That last morning made me feel anxious, rushed, and honestly a bit disrespected. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and I’ve never been treated that way at check-out. Unfortunately, because of that, I wouldn’t stay at this property again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice! Would stay again - We had a great time at AR 218- the neighborhood was very nice, walkable, and close to metro and restaurants. The hotel itself is modern and the bathrooms are nice. The electronic door codes/locks are a bit annoying because they register your first touch to activate the panel as part of the code, so we had to do it a few times before the door would open. We heard other guests having to do the same. The cleaning is also a bit slow.

The room was lovely and the area was my favourite of the neighbourhoods we saw on our trip. Walkable, safe, quiet (for Mexico City) with lots of shade and dining options. Highly recommend.
- Jinwoo (10/5): - Conveniently located in a charming neighborhood in Mexico City. Clean, safe, quiet, roomy, and with modern amenities, including very well functioning air conditioning, keyless room entry system, workout room, a very nice rooftop patio with lounge furniture. The king bed was super wide (like a California king) and was very comfortable. There is a Starbucks in the entryway with a lovely outdoor patio that is part of the entrance to the hotel, which is open from early until late, which is also a nice touch. 100% would stay here again.

- Patrice (8/5): - Great hotel in a lovely area of Mexico City. Lots of nearby restaurants, cafes and parks. The room was modern and very clean. Overall had a great stay and would recommend.
- Lynne (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at AR218 Hotel. The apartment had everything we needed and was attractive and comfortable. We appreciated the daily house cleaning and returning to a tidy space at the end of the day. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace in the evenings.
- Lillian (10/5): Ignore the bad reviews! - This apartment-hotel was a wonderful experience for both my husband and I. The room was exactly as pictured, the check-in/out process was smooth and easy. The staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable, the AC worked better than any other hotel we stayed at during our time in Mexico, and the location was fantastic. Negative reviews had me worried, but I'm so happy we stayed here!
- Ava (8/5): - Very nice property in a safe area of the city. Only complaint is that the main light for the bathroom also turns on an incredibly loud fan which was slightly annoying. Would stay again, though!
