• Eva (6/5): Not worth all the money spent. But location is great if you want to be close to everything but beds uncomfortable stairs - The property was in a great location. However during the night it was so noisy, kids could not sleep from the screaming outside. The stairs made so much noise going up and down them. They must be looked at. It was very clean and a lovely place I thought to have such things as issues was a shame. The beds were uncomfortable and the stairs made so much noise going up and down them.

Wir hatten ein bisschen Schwierigkeiten mit der Türe und dem Schloss, doch es war jemand für uns erreichbar und auch die Kommunikation hat super geklappt. Das Personal war super freundlich. Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich bedanken für die Zeit in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft! Danke auch für die Hilfsbereitschaft. Das Türschloss war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wenn man aber gewusst hat, wie, auch praktisch.

• Chen (10/5): Very nice - We had a very wonderful few days here. The location of the homestay is excellent, just a few seconds walk from the Trevi Fountain, and the streets is very lively and safe. The room has two floors, and the space is very large and warm. The staff of the hotel are also very nice. They helped us store our luggage and came back to help us pick it up. I am very grateful to them. Will stay here again next time I visit, highly recommend! It would be better if the price is cheaper, but we group don’t have many people together so it’s not very cost-effective.

The bedroom is quite spacious and beautiful. There was only one cup in the kitchen. The TV mode is in Italian. The facilities are quite old and there is a staircase within the property - it is a double storey townhouse - may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. There is only one bedroom - the other double bed is a sofa bed in the lounge. There is only one bathroom.

• Emma (10/5): Fabulous 2 bed apartment near the Trevi fountain - amazing location - The location of the Town House was perfect. We could see the side of the Trevi Fountain from the lounge window. This central location made it perfect for exploring because we could easily return and rest our legs before we headed out again. For the price we paid we weren't expecting too much but were pleasantly surprised. The lift to the property saved many a weary climb and the property itself was modern and spacious. We liked the quirky design and found it comfortable and warm - perfect for our needs. I was slightly worried about some of the reviews but they all proved to be completely unfounded - the mattress and pillows are memory foam and very comfortable. There was some noise but nothing that disturbed sleep (I am a very light sleeper) and to be expected from the central location. I was impressed by the contact from the staff before we even left - they were really friendly and helpful all the way through. If we return to Rome we would definitely stay there. Liked it all.

• Kristen (8/5): - The bathroom was beautiful. The hot water only lasted for a few minutes (like 3). Not enough time to even wash hair, so has to take shower bit by bit. One of the kitchen chairs had a broken back. The location was good for the places we tired that day and the hotel staff was very nice and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage until the room was ready and after when we checked out for an early tour.

• Renee (3/5): Our stay was hot and unable to enjoy any time in the property. - The location is the best thing about this property, you are steps from the Trevi fountain. The noise is loud from the street, but that was secondary to the heat! The door is hard to open even after they sent a video of the process. We had valuables in the room and came home on the first day to a man who was cleaning in the unit - my hubby was not happy. The upstairs AC is on a timer and will turn off after a few hours (in the night, while you are out exploring the city) and the unit never really cooled - the heat was unbearable ad we had to go purchase fans. The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable - 2 very flat pillows on a queen bed. We had to roll up towels to make pillows with. The second bedroom as a twin cot not eve a bed. Do not let the pictures draw you in - by far our worst accomodations in Italy. We made it work and the location was great, but would stay elsewhere in the future.

We could see a bit of the Trevi Fountain from our room. 5 min walk to the Panthenon. 18 min walk to the Forum and Colosseum. 5 min walk to Spanish Steps. 30 min walk to The Vatican. Very helpful and friendly staff, clean room, deluxe shower.

• Diane (2/5): - Chose because they noted they had an elevator and I have to use a walker. Stairs required for room and even for check in. No window in room, it was like a closet that was converted. No phone in room so no one could reach us nor could we reach reception desk. You had to climb steps to get to reception. You had to haves key to get into building and if you didn’t no one answered the bell. It was horrific place to stay. We couldn’t even get another room nearby because of location.

The shower was falling apart and the water sprayed all over the floor it was not pleasant at all! The bed comforter and sheets need to be replaced, they are OLD & nasty! The mattress was tolerable just don't expect any pillow top mattress :) pillows need to be replaced! But if you are looking for the perfect location... This is your hotel its right in the middle of everything, you can walk to all the exciting sites Rome is known for! we were able to see the Trevi fountain right from our window! Great coffee shops & places to eat near by. We recommend a nearby restaurant called- Thats Amore, it has the best pasta dishes! A small coffee shop called Tazza De' Orro served the best Cappuccino its the closest you will get to an american coffee :) they also have great pastries!

The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable in Townhouse fontana but the townhouse Roma the mattresses and pillow were comfy. Both are in the same bldg. We stayed in both. The location is perfect to everything within 10-15 minutes to everything except the Vatican and we choose to just take a taxi. the taxi stand is a block from hotel. Nice area about 100feet from Trevi fountain. Would stay again.

Our bathroom was very large with multiple shower heads and sinks, a nice addition for the two of us. Location is amazing and so convenient and easy to get around the city. We were also accommodated well when it came to receiving an early check-in. The bed was the only slight downfall; a bit thin and not overly comfortable. There could have been more pillows provided, as well as additional blankets. All in all, very positive experience!

All staff very helpful. Only negative was our bathroom was older and in need of a face lift and some fixing up. TV was hit and miss with regards to connection, even when they tried to fix it. Comfortable, well secure place to stay. Would stay again.

There are only 4 hotel rooms in this apartment building and when you get there the halls are extremely dark and there is no info as to where the office is. Found out you push any of the white buttons in the hallways and the lights come on and we, by happenstance, after searching all the floors, found the office on the third floor around a couple of corners. It is very bare bones but shower was hot and all we really needed was a place to sleep.

• Bridget (6/5): Odd theme - Hotel location was fantastic. Literally steps from the Trevi. Hotel felt safe. Staff wasn’t that friendly. A/C wouldn’t work and we were miserably hot. We were only there one night so we just dealt with it. The room was decorated quite odd for my daughter and I. Giant red lips on the wall, flaming red and white furniture, and big lip pillows. Might have been nice for newlyweds, but my daughter and I just got a good laugh out of it.
• Francine (10/5): Comfortable stay near the Trevi Fountain - Clean spacious room. Very friendly staff who wanted to help me trouble shoot. Very central location walkable to many sights. I love that it was right next door to the Trevi fountain. I felt safe staying here as a female by herself while my friend stayed at a hotel around the corner from me. I loved the bathroom - huge shower! The room was a bit cold - but I tend to be very cold easily - the staff were very helpful in trying to help me trouble shoot and the next day after housekeeping had been in my room they left me a space heater to help me get more comfortable. I really appreciated that gesture. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. The room was massive! Very rare in Europe.
• AMY (10/5): A FIND! - Loved this place! Fantastic location near Trevi Fountain. Francesca was so helpful, as was the rest of her team. Francesca got in touch before our stay and was prepared for our arrival. We were able to get into our room early so we could regroup after our long flight before setting out to sightsee. Francesca helped us with directions, transportation, timing, restaurants - always so pleasant. The breakfast each morning was very nice and delivered whenever we wanted it. We were upstairs, but there was someone to help with our bags. The room was small, but fine for the two of us. A bit of nighttime noise, but not too bad. The location was well worth it.

It was clean, very well located (minus the loud noises at night, which probably comes from being so close to Trevi fountains), and serve decent breakfast. The only issue was at the end when they requested us to pay "city taxes" in the amount of 30 euros when we know it was not supposed to be more than 21 (3 nights, 3.5 per night for each person and it was two of us). So make sure not to give cash or request receipt.

It was an oasis from the bustle of Trevi fountain around the corner. Breakfast was very filling. I particularly liked the location, because it's central to Old Rome and if I ever got confused, I would just ask for directions to Trevi fountain to find my hotel.

Very nice room and nice area close to shopping, restaurants, touristic attractions, etc. 10 minutes from/to Termini train station in taxi or bus. On the other hand internet was a little slow at times and we could hear some noise from the street in the late evening I believe due to trucks that load or unload things like trash, food, etc from restaurants, etc.
• MAI (8/5): Easy access, nice accommodation and breakfast - The location is great. Easy access to Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia etc.. The accommodation is great for us, with a baby we needed bath and kitchen. Also the accommodation is wide, it was easy to bring a baby gear inside. Our room was in a different building from the office and other rooms , it was a quiet place and we didn't worry about the big crying of the baby.

• RAYNA (8/5): Convenience in the heart of Rome - We we're greeted by Franchesca, who was extremely warm and welcoming. We arrived earlier than check-in, but were able to leave our luggage in their care. The location is absolutely amazing. It's only <1 minute away from the Trevi fountain, and we found it to be a pleasant walk to other main landmarks (Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Navona, etc). Breakfast is delivered to your room at your request. Wifi works well. The room is comfortable and clean with charming decor. Would stay here again for the convenience.

• Anne (8/5): Good location with Trevi at end of street - Great location and nice room which had quirky "boutique hotel style" corner spa bath with pretty lights above. Staff were delightful and extremely helpful with suggestions of where to visit etc. On the downside, location is very noisy pretty much all night and as our room was overlooking the street, we had limited sleep. Air con didn't work but as we preferred fresh air we just opened the windows rather than reporting the problem - hence the noise!! Found the mattress very hard which didn't help with sleeping. With regard to breakfast this is brought to your room at your chosen time and (for two people) consists of a couple of pieces of fresh fruit, two mini pastries, two mini bread rolls, slices of processed cheese and salami, two yoghurts and fruit juice plus a small cup of coffee which was only about a third full of coffee the rest being froth. Personally I like to go down to breakfast and choose what I like but there is no breakfast room here. Overall this is a nice place to stay if you want to be central.
• RACHEL (10/5): Fabulous! - Just got back from a trip for our daughters 18th. We stayed for 5 nights and the hotel was fabulous. Very clean, modern and central to all the sights. Francesca was wonderful & extremely helpful. Breakfast was great and brought to the room each morning. I would definitely book again if returning to Rome and recommend to all!
• jose (10/5): Home away from home - Our stay was grate we walk to almost all the areas we wanted to see. All the historical sites we went to were around the corner whit in 1/2 a mile grate place to stay. All the people talk a little English that was nice.
• g (6/5): Great location - It is located steps from the Fontana Di Trevi. Our room was comfortable with an updated bath and nice furniture. The breakfast was basic but included some fruits, orange juice, coffee and pastries. It is delivered to your room at the time of your convenience. The staff was friendly and willing to assist us in any of our requests. The cons were: it is not a hotel so there is no personnel at night in case you need something, and the major problem was that our room was located in a third floor by lift, but have to step up some stairs to reach the room. With three heavy bags it was not the best option.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Good for a quick trip, considerate staff however bed could do with updating, tiny shower in bathroom, breakfast adequate
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great location for all the major sites. - Within walking distance of most major sites, Trivi Fountain just a few steps from front door. (Sometimes this means crowds but all tourist parts of Rome are crowded.) Near bus, taxi and train stations. Kind, friendly staff. Everyone was very helpful. We had a large room and large bath. Very modern. Kitchenette in hallway.
• Carlton (8/5): Lost and found - My wife left her Fitbit pedometer in the room and we returned an hour after checking out only to be told that it wasn't found and we could not go in to the room to check on the floor beside the nightstand (where it had fallen). We are not pleased with Lola's response to our request!
• Di & Jim (10/5): Hotel close to Trevi Fountain - Helpful concierge on arrival. Checkin easy. Bed although very low was bliss. Only complaint was stairs to the last part of getting to our room. Elevator in first part but this seems the trend in Italy with the older buildings
• Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely hotel, close to the Trevi fountain. - The hotel is close to Trevi fountain but enough away from the crowds and noise. The people running the hotel are friendly and very helpful. If, or rather, when I go back, I would definitely stay here again.

• William (10/5): The best secret in Rome is no longer a secret... - What a perfect place! Literally next to the Trevi Fountain and only a short walk from the many other sights in historic Rome, Town House Fontana di Trevi is the perfect location. A classic setting in a small, picture-perfect Italian via - you think you're on a movie set. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We wish we could have stayed another few nights! Very good deal for the price, too.
• Steve (10/5): Quirky B&B - A quirky B&B rather than a true hotel located within 50 metres of Trevi Fountain. Fantastic spacious room. Staff are super helpful giving tips on several restaurants within walking distance.
