• kansasrod (8/5): Definitely a good hotel... - Great staff. Solid rooms. Okay location. Okay breakfast and restaurant. Tricky ATM outside front door -- don't step back! You will lose electricity occasionally but generator kicks in. Visited twice -- Nov. 2 -5 and Nov. 20. Renovation noise underway all day. Down the street from a good supermarket and restaurant the opposite direction. Empty lot next door filled with water so avoid opening windows and mosquitos.
• V859SHpeggyd (6/5): Go to the Sheraton. - The staff is just wonderful- warm and friendly. They made the stay. The rooms and restaurant are another story. Do not stay in even numbered rooms. Listened to Nr. Jungle disco till 2 am every night. Carpet clean but stained. This was unappealing. Mold in bath shower grout was ugly. Refrigerator did not work. Toilet required taking lid off to refill. Friend’s door lock would not close and had to get manager to fix. Beds were comfortable though and they had nice towels. Breakfast and dinner were not that good. I would give it a 2 out of 4, or a “C”. Dinner had cold rice and plain boiled vegetables on a plate with a chicken leg smothered in a brown gravy. Breakfast was marginal with a limited selection, with the serving plates often empty- they would get more if you asked. Again, the staff was delightful. This is a low budget hotel by American standards.
• JJJRS5 (8/5): Well located hotel with reasonable prices - Well located hotel. Decent sized rooms with reasonable amenities. Nice, included breakfast. Friendly staff, anxious to make your stay as comfortable as possible. On site security. Bar with coffee and alcohol.

• arifp736 (2/5): 1/10 - As a transit passenger, I expected a comfortable stay, but unfortunately, Jupiter Hotel Bole did not meet my expectations. The food menu is extremely limited, with very few options to choose from. If you’re looking for variety, this is not the place to dine. Moreover, the dining experience itself is inconvenient—you are required to eat in the bar, which doesn’t offer a comfortable or pleasant atmosphere for a proper meal. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for transit passengers or anyone expecting a more comprehensive and convenient dining experience. There are likely better options nearby.
• dumisog (2/5): TERRIBLE. DEPLORABLE. UNACCEPTABLE. - ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE SERVICE. FIRST ROOM I WAS IN HAD THE CARPET AND TOILET SMELLING. WHOEVER THE SUPERVISOR IS WAS UNBELIVABLY RUDE. I HAD NO CHOICE AND IT WAS MADE WORSE BY INTERLINE STAFF. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. OVER 10 YEARS OF TRANSITING THROUGH ADDIS AND THIS WAS THE WORST.
• Yang (10/5): Fruit of breakfast was not fresh. - Sometimes the fruits of breakfast is not fresh, watermelons, pineapple juice, I met twice.
• Jumpingbean20 (8/5): Near city and airport - Close to the airport, close to Addis city centre, comfortable room, good friendly service, good food in bar and restaurant. Only downside is noisy nightclub nearby, keeps you awake unless you have earplugs. I would give it 5* but that wretched night club makes it lose a saar for me.
• 878zacko (10/5): An awesome place to be - I checked in this hotel on 9 Dec and checked out on 16 Dec. This hotel is very nice and staff are charming and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay and I look forward to visiting again when an opportunity arises.
• Denis070707 (8/5): A comfortable Business Trip Accommodation - I have had several trips to Addis, but had not had the opportunity to stay in Jupiter. This hotel has met my business trip needs- the rooms are very spacious- they pride themselves on this! The Bole location is where I stayed and it was a great time - very helpful staff- Yordanos Demeke, Urael, Salaam - thank you for all the help during my stay. The hotel offers a very homely setting. The 24-hour shuttle service is another great offer this hotel has got; I watched many travelers pick it as a choice for transit before their flights the next morning. The Bole branch is very near the airport- less than 10 mins in my opinion by shuttle. The flip side of this location though is that you may not be able to walk much as a foreigner there are many people around the place. So if you choose to walk do not carry any valuables. There is a supermarket in the Friendship building where you can find items to add to your mini refrigerator for a long stay. I visited Cazanchise twice for the gymn and sauna- both visits were well coordinated and the services were great.
• Curiosity424964 (10/5): Home away from home - I have stayed in this hotel for 31 nights with my younger brothers. It was a fabulous stay. Rooms are so clean and their beds are comfortable. Breakfast has so many varieties ….. we enjoyed their local dishes….. lots to choose from anyway. I couldn’t thank enough all staffs who works there for their special services. They are wonderful and helpful staffs in every regards. My special appreciation goes to Selamawit Tulu who made our stay so beautiful. She did everything she could to make sure we had everything we want. Other very hospitable staffs like Hanna Solomon, Abdi….. Frewoini (chef) … Kudos to you all as well for the best service you provided us. Special thanks to Amsalework (Hotel Manager) who always come to check on us. I do love the hotel and would definitely stay there again. The hotel is located very close to the airport, very safe area and so convenient to access and explore everything. Cheers!! Anteneh

• Verified traveler (6/5): - I stayed at this hotel for two days. The food was ok and the room was ok except the towels which were old and stained. The rooms lack sound proof due to which any noise on the corridor was loudly disturbing. The cleaning crew in the morning wakes you up because of their loud voices - they are like construction workers. There was complimentary breakfast but the entire room was reserved so I was asked to dine in the bar on a bar table - I found this disrespectful. There should be no first class and second class customers. The hotel need to avoid discriminatory services.
• abdulbasitm2014 (8/5): Delicious food and closer to the airport - I was looking for a place to stay a night before my flight in the morning and this place happen to be closer. The streets were going to be closed the next day for a holiday event so I couldn't stay somewhere else as I would risk missing my flight in the morning. It was my first time to be in this place and the staff were very hospitable and It's 5km from the airport and located a few hundred meters out of the main street, its quite and very neat as well as reasonably priced relative to other similar hotels around that area. I have ordered Indian Lamb Curry just as I wander through the menu, with the aromatic creamy spicy sauce and served with rice. it was delicious and mouth watering. I would stay here again!
• kuepper (8/5): Just a lovely place - Staff were so friendly, the location near a main road with supermarket and coffee places and restaurants nearby. Cheap taxi ride up the centre an d plenty of taxis hanging around the hotel which also had it's own large one.
• JimAndDenise51 (8/5): Perfect for an airport stopover or pre-flight - We stayed at this hotel for six hours, from 3 pm to 9 pm, on the day of our departure from Ethiopia, before our 21 hour trip home, beginning at almost midnight. We had a good, very reasonably priced lunch in the restaurant. The room was clean and very comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower. Good internet. Good service from the staff. Free shuttle to the airport, just a few minutes away. Not one complaint. (We also stayed at the Jupiter International Hotel, Cazanchise on the first two nights of our trip, on arrival in Ethiopia. We found the Bole hotel to be much nicer and, planning again, would have stayed at Bole, instead.)
• IonH (8/5): Perfectly satisfactory hotel with decent restaurant - Given that hotels in Ethiopia seem never to quite make it to standards better than mid-range western equivalents, this is about as good as it gets. Big rooms (though without much thermal heating/cooling) & big bathrooms, better than average front-desk service, ridiculously handy for the airport, reasonable wifi. Excellent breakfast and reasonable dinner service. Staff -- so often the weak link in otherwise high-end Ethiopian hotels -- attentive without being intrusive. I'd happily use it again.
• ElizabethK567 (8/5): Very comfortable stay - I stayed here 3 times over the period I was in Ethiopia. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice bathrooms. The staff are good, but the luggage porters were THE BEST. So kind and friendly, and so quick and efficient. The breakfast buffet was good, and they cook eggs to order. The hotel is very conveniently located for the airports (5-minute drive), so it is a great place to stay before a morning flight, particularly as the hotel provides free airport transfers. The only problem I had was that they failed to collect me from a flight at the domestic airport, despite 3 phone calls by a tour agent to arrange, confirm and remind them. This was a major issue for me as I didn't have a mobile to contact them. A kind passer-by let me use their phone, and when they eventually came 40 minutes later, they took me to the wrong hotel (there is another Jupiter in the city centre). Fortunately I realised they were going the wrong way, so the driver was able to turn around and it only took us an extra 20 minutes. But that took an hour, for a hotel that is 5 minutes away! Very frustrating! But if you are arriving at the International airport it's easy as they have a desk in the arrivals hall.

The folks at the front desk here were so nice and helpful, arranging for baggage storage, laundry, a pharmacy, taxis, shuttles and a half day stay while we waited for a late night internationa departure after flying in early Lalibela, Ethiopia that morning.
• neischacmm (8/5): Comfy stay - I was there for work, and we were booked for one night. The hotel has security right at the entrance and the welcome is quite nice. The hotel is in town, so there are a couple of malls nearby. The stay is comfortable, I enjoyed the place. It gets a bit chilly in December but a blanket is available. The staff is very attentive to you which is something I have enjoyed. The wifi, however, was very slow is nonexistent.

• Hassan (8/5): Good Hotel next to the Airport - The airport pickup was good and on time. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the Airport and the staff are very good. The rooms are ok. Breakfast was varied enough and was interesting. Their internet is a plus, probably one of the best internets in Addis Hotels. They don't have a gym but there is a good gym about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel drop for departure was also efficient, generally am happy about the place.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Very good option -- price, location - Next door to the Radisson Blu this hotel is an excellent option that comes in approx. 100-150 USD less in price, if not more. The food is not great (same for all local Addis hotels) but the Radisson is next door and there are other restaurants nearby (e.g., Mama Mia). The ECA and many government offices are also nearby. A lot of the construction finishing is frustratingly poor because the design and materials themselves are good.
• ras emiru (8/5): - Stayed here for two weeks on vacation. And this hotel was outstanding, service was great, staff very friendly. The only caveat is that sometimes there is lots of traffic around the narrow street leading up to the hotel. They should consider making that street one way to reduce the congestion and ease the traffic flow. other that that everything else was great. I would go back again and stay.

• Verified traveler (2/5): False Advertising - Horrible I book a Juior suite and they put me in a standard guest room cause they do not have suites in this hotel but online they you they do. They also mention a washer and dryer there is no washer and dyer in any of the rooms. I can go on but the point is I didnt get anything I paid for.
• Justin (8/5): Hotel with a good link to the rest of Addis Ababa - I had a really pleasant stay at Jupiter in Bole as I had read many bad reviews about hotels in the Bole area. Due to some renovation that was taking place above my room, I was a bit disturbed by the noise and leaks that occurred in my bathroom. However, hotel staff quickly dealt with the matter to a satisfactory level. All the staff were friendly and warm upon my arrival and departure from day to day.
