• hlno (10/5): Most definitely a five star hotel - Definitely a five star review. Our visit here was excellent from the sign in with a young lady at the desk in the evening to breakfast in the morning. I have spent twice as much for less room and less facilities than I encountered at this hotel. It has a good solid breakfast. Clean well designed New rooms and everything works. What a change from other places I’ve stayed. For those that are making a trip from Cincinnati to Naples, Florida or points along that route it is conveniently off the highway and only a mile or so away from your final destination. Be sure and stop here. They have a swimming pool and an excellent exercise room in addition to everything else.

My room is very nice, and it is cleaned every day. The bed is very comfortable, and I have everything I need in the room. Excellent Wi-Fi and television selection. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

• 749ronniea (10/5): County Fair - I had a very great stay at the Country Inn & Suites here in Macon. We got their a little earlier than check in, but no worries. We met Kelvin, who was very kind in helping us getting checked in very smoothly. We were there for the county fair, and he told us what to expect, and he was on point! 2 hour wait to get in the fair because of traffic. Kelvin has great customer service skills, and it would be our pleasure to return for another stay. Thank you Kelvin!!

• TheDivineMzN (10/5): Great Stay - I found myself having to stay at Country Inn & Suites, Macon West due to life circumstances, so my stay went beyond the normal 1-3 night stay of most guest. I chose County Inn & Suites due to the location and the great customer service I experienced from a previous stay. The staff at Country Inn are always pleasant and willing to assist. I could always guarantee that my room would be clean, and the bed would be comfortable. Although the location is a bit sketchy, I never felt unsafe staying at Country Inn. On days I entered the lobby to get to my room, I was always greeted with a hello and friendly conversation from any of the front desk staff would always give me something to smile or laugh about, if I was having a bad day. In addition to clean rooms, great customer service, a clean and pleasing breakfast area, the hotel having warm chocolate cookies in the evening was truly a plus and a nice treat to welcome you in for the night. I would highly recommend for others to consider Country Inn & Suites, Macon West for their hotel needs.

• Eddie (4/5): - When we stepped off the elevator in the 3rd floor, there was an odor of vomit. When we walked in the room, the air was stale and it was not cool. Because we were exhausted, we stay the night. The next morning when we took a shower there was a strong odor of urine in the shower curtain. At first glance, it looked clean, but then we realized how really dirty it was, especially because of the odors. The eggs were rubbery and bland.
• Brianna (6/5): - I can say this stay was ok and that’s about it. Several things about our room were not great, musty smell, blood stain on the comforter, tiny pillows, hair on the floor and the sink, bathroom door scratches the ground loudly, blue stains on the shower curtain, area around the sink was dirty and had splatters on the mirror wall and frame from previous stays, bleach stains in the hallways on the carpet. It was a place for me to sleep and that’s all to say about it. I would not intentionally go here again.

Receptionist very attentive, apologetic and was able to accommodate changing our rooms 2 different times due to sheets being stained and dirty, dirty handprints on the walls in one room and uncleaned bathroom in the other. IMPORTANT. On the morning of September 21st @ 745 Am we heard someone unlocking our door, I quickly went to the door and there was an Indian gentleman (owner) trying to open our door, keep in mind we have (3) 8year olds in our room. WHY was he trying to enter our room without knocking check out wasn't until 11am. Our other room had my grandmother and our 18 year old daughter, they also try to enter their room, They even had the DO NOT DISTRUB sign on the door.

• Amanda (2/5): DONT STAY HERE!!! - Me and my daughters were in town for a concert. It was after 11:00 pm when we arrived at our hotel. When we went to get in the bed my bed had blood on the sheets. My daughter and her friend noticed small bugs all over their bed that were blowing out of the air vent onto the bed. When she pulled back the covers there were pubic hairs in the sheets. We quickly when downstairs to notify the front desk. Before I even started to explain she asked do you want a refund I just had to refund 2 people or I can give you another room. I said my daughter is sick with a migraine and has a 4 hour drive home we need to try another room. She gave us the room across the hall. We checked it before we moved our stuff the headboards were gross the wall had stuff splattered on them it smelled of mildew. So I went back to the desk she gave me a 3 rd room to try again. We went in and checked around we were checking the bed for bugs like we always do and noticed dried vomit down the box spring of the bed we said nope going to settle for the second room sleep and leave in the morning. By this time it was 1:00am. I did call hotels.com when I arrived home and they have started my refund.

• Emily (4/5): Customer Dissatisfaction - First off, check-in was easy breezy. Once we got to our room, turned on TV...couldn't change channels, or turn off. Changed our remote. We could change channels, but at 10:30 when I was ready to go to bed, remote didn't work to turn off. The A/C was loud!! Told them at the beginning. Nothing they could do. Told us put it on low. Did that. 1:30 a.m. comes around, we've barely slept. Everytime the compressor for A/C came on, it sounds like a freight train. Every time the compressor kicked on it caused a rattling in the air handler housing. So again talked to the front desk and again they said there was nothing they could do. Told us to put it on low. I told them it was on low. We ended up putting earplugs in our ears just to make it through the rest of the night. In the morning when I went to check out I spoke to the lady at the front desk. I asked if there was any compensation since we spoke to the previous desk person twice. We also told them that there was plastic around the smoke alarm. She told us she did not have power to make any adjustments on the bill. She dismissed anything I said. Told me the manager would be in later that day and that he's the only one that can make adjustments. Offered no empathy or compassion for the situation. I think regardless of whether she could do something or not if she had shown any empathy I probably would have been satisfied with her answer. manager was supposed to contact me has not contacted me yet.
