- İBRAHİM (3/5): Before you pay, be sure radiator will be turned on. - Location and price First two nights of my stay, radiator was turned off from around 04:00 am untill10:00 am. Not a good idea at very cold Toronto winters.
- GORDON (7/5): Basic but clean and comfortable . - Gary host very nice caring guy .
Velues his customers .
Ensures they enjoy there stay . No coffee or tea making facilities .
There should be coffee/ teamaking facilities a kettle in each room and sachets of tea or coffee.
- Bob (7/5): - Fantastic location, very quiet. Large room. Laundry facilities were a unexpected bonus. Old tired building, taps in bathroom worked (just). Food prep facilities very minimal in room -- kettle provided on request but not provided in room by default.

- william (7/5): Great location and host - Bed was not comfortable, need more plugs Bed and needs more outlets
- Joyce (7/5): It served our purpose and we enjoyed the closeness to Bloor street - The washroom was rather small.
- HAOBIN (10/5): Great and Warm - I really can't say enough about how wonderful this hotel is and how warm it made me feel. First of all, the room was very clean when I checked in and the landlord was very friendly in helping me settle in and patiently guided me. Although the room was small, it was very affordable and had everything you needed. When I checked out, the landlord kindly informed me that I had left my key behind and personally handed it to me. This was beyond my expectations and I was very surprised and touched. I definitely recommend this accommodation. It was the most heartwarming experience I had during my entire trip in Toronto. Overall good

- Victoria (10/5): - Great location (walking distance to two subway stations and various stores/coffee shops/eating options). The area felt safe, room was comfortable, the fridge was spacious. The manager Gary was friendly and thoughtful (offered us extra towels and toiletries halway through our stay without us asking).

- Sue (5/5): - The character of the building the rooms are clean The size of the room was small for two people was small, the bathroom was very small and the toilet was very hard to get into
- Dominique (8/5): -
- clifford (7/5): -
A cama confortável e o atendente muito atencioso. Foi tudo bem. Não há do que reclamar. Apenas sugiro que coloque uns talheres que seria bom. Apesar que compramos descartáveis no mercado.
- Roslyn (6/5): - Location was ok.
Being able to do laundry was good Bed was very firm and squeaky, pillow too high for me, air conditioning stopped working on last night and it was very warm, we had cups but no way of making tea or coffee
- Nico (3/5): - Ligging De badkamer was heel erg krap en zeer gedateerd.
- Strass (8/5): -
- Lennart (9/5): - The proximity to downtown is great! Especially for that price!
- Elle Marie (10/5): It was great for a concert trip - Great location
- Alexandra (9/5): - Très bien accueillis. Parking privatif
Bel emplacement .
- Marie (6/5): - Great location, room has everything you beed for a comfortable but basic stay The room was a little worn, the decor made it look dirty but it was infact clean. The air conditioning had no remote or thermostat & was up high, so I was not able to adjust it. I had to stand on the bed and use a coat hanger to turn it off at night
- Stephanie (8/5): -
- antonella (5/5): Da non consigluare - La vicinanza al centro città Ambiente vecchio, bagno piccolo, doccia malfunzionante
- José (7/5): -
- luca (9/5): - Struttura confortevole, 10/15 minuti a piedi per poter prendere metro Bagno piccolo
- Morgan (6/5): -
- Johnny (8/5): Very good -
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional - Location is impoetant for me
- Lay (9/5): Superb -
- Peters (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable. Great value for its location.
- Marjorie (7/5): Over all good quality for a guy not females traveling alone - Bedding needs to be upgraded, bed itself was comfortable. Towels and bedding subpar. Place was emasculate! I would. It feel safe having my daughter or wife stay here. But for a guy who wants to travel on the cheaper side and basic accommodations, works great! Box springs exposed, checked for bed bugs but place super clean so felt okay with it. Place was spruced up after two days, trash taken out and new towels.
- Lloyd (8/5): Very good - Great location, it was functional and had everything you needed. Staff were very helpful.
- Webb (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iris (10/5): Great! - The host was super helpful! We had a wonderful time
- Johnathon (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was great, and other than a slight hiccup with the late check in process there were no issues. Despite the listing saying there was air conditioning, there was not a functional air conditioner in our room, not even a fan. This made sleeping pretty unpleasant since it was very warm the couple nights we were in town.
Also, I'm not sure if it's a regular thing for the area but there were a lot of unhoused people up and down the block, using drugs and generally making a ruckus. Not a ding against the guesthouse directly but for anybody who is safety conscious, it's good to know.
- Dornbrock (9/5): Superb - The location was a nice quiet neighborhood and parking on the property to come and go as I pleased was a nice bonus. Lack of flexibility on arrival time.
- Matthew (8/5): Convenient and well priced. Easy walk to downtown or the subway. -
- Charles (7/5): A functional place to stay, in a reasonable location at a fair price. - The check-in is remote - you get a code to enter, and then someone comes to do the paperwork, but they were prompt, helpful and friendly. It's as advertised: a guest house rather than a hotel, but pleasant and has everything I needed.
- Ludovic (9/5): Excellent location and good value for money - Excellent location, good wifi, comfy bed, very good value for money. It is all as announced on the website. I had to go to the Unviersity and could walk around easily. There was a microwave, but a kettle would have been nice.
- Adam (7/5): Good -
- Landers (4/5): Fit for purpose, but not much value for money. - The location was ideal due to its proximity to town. The staircase was narrow to the bedroom. There was no heat or air control in the room. The owner didn't provide extra blankets. The room could have been cleaner and more inviting.
- Judit2019 (8/5): Stay was clean, conveniently located close to public transit, quiet, comfortable, wifi worked, - I attended a conference and needed a place to sleep. The guesthouse was easy access to public transit, the room was warm comfortable clean all I needed.
- Andrii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gerald (4/5): You get what you pay for. Relatively cheap accomodations in a threadbare place. - Location is good. Central Toronto. Walking distance to many attractions. Near Subway. Near Bloor and Yonge Streets, major arteries in Toronto. The host is not on site but is nearby and comes over when called. He helped me with my luggage and was very pleasant. Place is very old and threadbare but it is clean and housecleaning service is provided every second day. Room did come with fridge and small microwave. Guesthouse is on a quiet residential street, but just minutes to Bloor and the big city. Bathroom was very small, so small, difficult even to turn around. No shelves or place in the bathroom to put toiletries or articles unless you wanted to put them on top of the toilet tank. Hairdryer in the bathroom did not work. There are only electric plugs on one wall of the room which is across the room from the bed so it was impossible to plug in a phone or device and have it next to the bed. Furnishings are pretty threadbare. I was told there was a table in the room where I could set up my computer, but the table was about 8 inches wide and there were few places to put articles so the table got filled up very quickly and I never could set up the computer.
You basically get what you pay for. Toronto is an expensive city, this guesthouse provides low cost accomodation relative to hotels in central Toronto but it is not modern at all, furnishings are salvation army quality.
- Chris (9/5): A Comfortable Room - Factor in the price and location, nothing compares. It ain't the Ritz, but it's clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. I'll be returning. One bottle of water in the fridge would be nice. 15 cents? :)
- Toranj (10/5): Great and smooth. Kerry was amazing and in general i was very comfortable - Had everything i needed. Bed was comfortable. Room was good temperature The neighbour was unpleasant lady
- Iñigo (8/5): Very good - Nice place to stay for a few days!
- Rachelle (8/5): Very good -
- Jones (8/5): Very good -
- Kenneth (10/5): Convenient, affordable, and great location. - Location and the very easy to deal with staff / manager on duty named Gary. N/A
- Claudia (8/5): Great for a short stay. Not fancy but it has all the essentials. - Great location, close to subway station.
- Daryl (4/5): A little worse then I hoped it would be but decently clean and ok value for the money - It was ok for the cost. A few more pillows blankets and comfort items would help improve. Location and staff very friendly
- Cj (9/5): Superb - For the price and location, the Keppner Guesthouse really can't be beat. The room is comfortable with a private bathroom, a mini fridge, microwave, and desk. While the temperature in the winter is a little too warm for me, the windows in the room can be opened. We only had enough towels for one person despite booking for two. We didn't bother asking for more since I had towels with me just in case, but I'm sure Gary (owner) would have provided more.
- Jeffs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vitaliy (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): Very good - Comfortable bed. Great price for close to downtown.
- Jasna (9/5): Superb - Simplicity. Communication with manager on the arrival, close to underground, clean, safe. From YYZ airport take bus nr 900 and go to Kipling station. Take underground Nr. 2 . It takes you directly to station Sherbourne. From there 7 min walking to the guesthouse. Costs 3.35 CAD (1 ticket needed). Room small but has everything you need. Read other comments.
- Sheila (7/5): Expensive for what it was but ok for my needs. except i slept poorly. - location good and clean and proprietor was very helpful. Room was quiet. bed uncomfortable— room tiny and overheated. Had to keep opening and closing window.
- Olaf (7/5): Good -
- William (7/5): Closes to restaurants and subway most rooms on 2nd floor no elevator. - No breakfast included Staff had very limited hours but was friendly
- Koivupiha (7/5): Good - Friendly worker but made us pay ahai
- Hedgehog (7/5): Good - Location is good, the host is very friendly and helpful, he kept contacting me though WhatsApp make sure I could get there check in on time Quite a dated property, everything very basic, the bed is not comfortable, just a simple blanket
