- Mohamad (1/5): I won’t recommend this Hotel for anyone! - Front desk was very rude and inconsiderate. He seems to be a self as decent as English and accent was so bad. I tried to explain to him. I need a little help. I need to check in a bit early, but he couldn’t let me in even though other room was vacant and available, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone. 441 Hotel was filthy and smells all over. Customer Service has zero experience.

- Bernadette (8/5): Convenient, economical and pet friendly. - It was close to the highway, let my dog stay for free and the price was excellent. Lots of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Very clean. The noise of the street traffic all night and early morning. Lots of motorcycles revving up their motors. Also the sound proofing was minimal. We could hear people in the rooms on both sides of us.

Refrigerator/freezer needed defrosting. Could hear the next door neighbor's TV. Could smell cigarette/marijuana from all around the building.

Il leur était donc impossible de me donner une chambre. J'ai donc appelé la hotline 24/7 de booking.com pour qu'il résolve le problème. Pas d'interlocuteur en français disponible sur la France. J'ai donc appelé booking.com UK . L'interlocutrice ne me semblait pas savoir quoi faire. Elle a parlementé avec la réception de l'hôtel pendant plus de 20mn puis a laissé la communication en attente trop longtemps. N'obtenant pas de réponse, le réceptionniste de l'hôtel a raccroché.
Finalement une personne qui semblait être un responsable a signalé a l'hôtel qu'il allait annuler la réservation sans charge et me la rembourser sous 14 jours, je pouvais donc obtenir une chambre et me reposer d'un voyage assez pénible.
J'attends donc maintenant le remboursement de ma réservation.
Je tiens à votre disposition la facture de la chambre que j'ai finalement dû payer sur place.
Je tiens a signaler le calme et la patience de la personne à la réception de l'hôtel.

- Joy (1/5): Never again. This hotel besmirches the Red Roof brand - The location in Fredericksburg Everything else. Rude staff, unclean, broken rooms, smoker’s room when non-smoking had been booked. Had to leave and find another hotel this place was so awful. My health was compromised.
ALSO - Booking.com SUCKS when it comes to customer service. Use another site. even though this website took my booking for a NON-Smoking room, they refuse to do ANYTHING about my issues with Red Roof Inn or the fact that I had to get a different hotel elsewhere. They refused to respond to me or the Better Business Bureau about the incident.
I will NEVER use them again, and you should run. Try Kayak or Trivago.

- Hal (8/5): - Inside room nice and clean with modern floor, furniture, and other things. Otherwise room is worn but comfortable including good AC. Outside noisy with people in parking lot. The outside of property is not in good condition. It needs work. Fortunately inside the room was good. The fire alarm (just outside of my room) being pulled and going off with the fire department showing up in later evening wasn’t nice. Apparently no fire.

For a pet friendly place, they should take that into account. The bed wasn't comfortable at all. I woke up with neck and back pain, but it's ok for a night.

- Chuck (2/5): I won't be going back - Everything about the place was poor. The lobby was dirty. The room was dirty. The remote didn't have batteries, and when i asked the manager for a set, he said they were out and suggested i ask at the hotel next door.

In truth, I agree that the accommodations can use a lot of sprucing up.

***head at least 4 times. There was a homeless man harrassing waiting guests and cursing. The owner also got into screaming with this man as well in which they both kept yelling at the other to call the police. I dont know which one of them made me more uncomfortable.

It is not by any means the nicest place to stay, but if you have business to do in fredericksburg, and you you need to be in and out every day and you need a reliable place to stay, this is that spot.

Front desk needs to be friendlier

The sheets and bedspread were not clean and I was concerned about bedbug issues. So I lost all of my $70 for the stay because it was prepaid and I left the motel. I do not recommend this location.

- Brian (2/5): Do not stay here - The room was questionable,dirty. light bulbs missing, no battery in the smoke detector, shower not nice, supposed to have a couch or chair and table. Not there. No tissues, no hair dryer, no coffee pot, we were exhausted and just wanted to rest. Went to manager who really didn't care. Gave me a box of tissues and told me not to worry about the smoke detector. The other guest were extremely loud all night, no concideration for other guests. I will never stay here again. Would not reccomend anyone stay here.

The walls had drip stains, the bathroom baseboards were filthy.
The best part? They put mToe in a connecting room, and the LOCK DID NOT WORK.
To make matters worse, I had to book an additional night and they charged me an additional 20$.
- Mobile20713621549 (2/5): Worst Hotel in 65 years of travel - I wanted to share my experience with you regarding my recent stay at this particular hotel from October 10-13, 2024.
My wife and I checked in around 8 pm that night and were assigned a room on the first floor. A king bed room, non-smoking, our reservation was made online a week in advance. Upon entering the room we were absolutely appalled at the condition of the room. It was obviously a smoking room and the odor of cigarettes was overwhelming. There was no chairs, no sofa/loveseat, no table -- no where to sit other than the bed. It was nothing like the photos on the website. It was bare bones and stinky. As we surveyed the room further, we found the room did not look like it had been deep cleaned in months. I was immediately sent to WalMart by my wife to purchase cleaning and disinfecting supplies. We could not change rooms, it was the last one on the first floor and my handicap requires a first floor room plus we had our dog with us or we would have left for another hotel.
We had to clean the front door inside around the door handles, and when sprayed with cleaner, the dirt just ran down the door. Same with the bathroom door. There was dust and cobwebs on the ceiling and and the air vents were dusty and dirty. We disinfected the bed with Febreze fabric disinfectant. We cleaned the toilet and bathtub using bathroom disinfectant. The globes over the sink in the bathroom had not been cleaned, maybe ever, and were dusty and actually had nicotine stains running down them and hardened drips of nicotine from where the steam from the shower came out.
We had to purchase 3 candles to overcome the odor, as well as a metered spray that went off every 10 minutes.
My wife said she did not want anyone in our room when we were not there and I went to the office to ask for a privacy tag for the door (there was not one in the room). The man questioned me as to why I wanted to tag it "privacy" and he said if I did that, housekeeping could not get in to clean. That room had not been cleaned properly in who knows how long and I got a kick out of that comment.
The bathroom electrical outlet was burned and smoked and did not work. I'm shocked this room has not burned down the entire hotel. Might be a good thing actually.

I did not complain to them about the room. I do not like confrontation and we simply cleaned the room so that we would be more comfortable. I spent $40 at Walmart on candles. disinfectant and rags.
I am a Red Roof member and have not had this experience before, but thought you would like to know just how terrible this particular location is and I would expect compensation for our cleaning supplies and that fact that we stayed out of the room as much as possible during our visit to Fredericksburg. Neither of us wanted to go back to the room. I am 65 years old and I have never in my life stayed in such poor accommodations.

Room was dirty, Dirt & debris on the floor. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Wiped up water by dog spilled & napkins were black from the floor. Very noisy, Curtain didn’t even close fully. Went outside & looked in the window & you could see our bed in the mirror reflection cause the curtain was too short. Police making rounds in parking lot. Garbage all over on stairwells & by ice machine. Microwave was dirty, old plastic cup in freezer. Mosquitos in room . Wouldn't stay here again.

- Virginia (6/5): Great price… but you get what you pay for. - The desk clerk disappeared for hours in the afternoon with no replacement. We got there early and called to see if we could check in a little early. Even the 800# for HOTELS couldn’t get in touch with any one.
Went to check out and had a hard time understanding the gentleman. Never got a receipt which I went in for. They are trying to update but have a long way to go.

Asked to switch rooms after reporting AC didnt work we were told we couldn’t get another room and was offered a fan and told maintenance would come. No one ever showed up so we ended up checking out a full 18 hours early after paying for a 2 day stay and not being offered any kind of refund. Will never be staying here again.

Never ever stay here if you want any sort of service.
