Guest Reviews
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- jesus (2/5): - TV spoiled,wifi cant connect.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Don't expect anything else than a hard bed - Smallest room I ever stayed in except for capsule hotels. You enter the room and there is a bed, that's it. Very thin mattress. Just enough space to put your luggage, dont expect to be able to open it elsewhere than on the bed. I knew when I booked that guesthouses in Chungking Mansion are of the cheapest accomodations in HK, but wow that's harsh, especially when you just arrived from a 12 hours flight. Avoid it if you think you will need a good night sleep. Terrible to access the guesthouse as you have to wait your turn for a very small elevator. On the good side, convenient location in Tsim Sha Tsui.
- Alex (4/5): -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location is good, but Chungking Mansion isn't the nicest place on Earth and can be a bit scary.
The room itself tiny and a bit expensive for what you get, room cleanliness is bad, there's mold everywhere in the bathroom, old bedsheets and pillows.
Overall the staff was pretty nice, also it never felt unsafe.
Just an okay experience, borderline bad when it comes to cleanliness
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The care taker was approachable and very hard working but the pictures of the room on the website are very misleading and far away from real.
- Mr Owen (6/5): Small - To stay on a budget by yourself, you probably will end up in Chungking mansion's.Very small rooms with no windows.Shower is above the toilet. The bed was comfortable enough for Hong Kong, shower worked well plenty of hot water.Aircon and WiFi, kept clean,it served a purpose. If you can afford double the price I would stay elsewhere, but on a budget, doe's the job.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It wasnt so bad after all despite all the reviews ive read upon booking. If youre not gonna spend your whole day in the room, then i dont see the problem in booking this guest house. Yes, it’s small but it has bed with clean sheets, air-conditioner and shower, basically all i need. Easy access to mtr station and the area is lively. We arrived and went home safe and sound.
- Carey (10/5): Small, but clean!! - Fantastic front line staff, they were very friendly and accommodating!!!
- W9342NBchrisp (6/5): Smallest room we've ever been - Small but right smack in the middle of tsim sha tsui. Lots of things to see around. Neat and clean room. With internet and own T&B. Jollibee nearby is a plus.. must try chickenjoy! ;-)
Money changers at the lobby. Shopping area.
- MrDoug90 (6/5): Inexpensive and small - Needed a place for a few nights close to metro station.
This hotel is one of many in the building , each of the three towers from A to C have these small 5-10 room hotels , under 10m. The room I was in had the bed between two walls , if you are over 175cm you will find it a little cramped. Though they had other rooms with more leg room. Shower bath sink was extra small , smallest I have stayed with. Not a bad place, pleasant staff handling the place. The main floor is a sea of money exchange and small shops primarily Indian run , the street outside had guys asking you to if you needed a watch or a suit , at first ok but by second day extremely annoying.
Again cheap and clean considering you are in Hong Kong , where everything is expensive

- Ikenna (2/5): One of the worst experiences of my life!!! - This has to be the dirtiest most dangerous accommodation I have ever paid for. Guest was located in the back alley where suspicious activity was taken place. Absolutely miserable conditions, the bed was dirty and sheets hasn't neen changed, no towels were provided small uncomfortable room. Prison conditions. I could go on and on. Horrible experience!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Worth it. - Booked a family room for 4. It was clean, central, and the check in was quick. Staff was pleasant. Considering the price I paid, was entirely satisfied.
- Chris (2/5): Did not stay and would never stay. - Booked online, immediately tried to Cancel, thought that I had canceled, but never got any confirmation and found out, when got Visa Statement that they are trying to bill me for the full amount, as if I had stayed in this very very poor facility, where you feel as if your life is in danger from the minute that you arrive. When we arrive in Hong Kong, myself and my new wife went to this place to see if we wanted to stay at this Hotel. It fell far short of are expectations so we immediately left to find a suitable Hotel to stay in. The person at the check-in desk was not helpful at all, using the excuse that she could not understand English in a largely English speaking City of Hong Kong. We informed her that we would not be staying, this seems to have fallen on deaf ears. I will repeat Expedia is trying to bill me the full amount as if we had stayed at this poorly managed facility, that was far below what we were expecting to find. I tried repeatedly to deal with Expedia in the days to fallow expecting some kind of resolution, any and all attempts to talk to any of the Expedia staff, did not produce any results. This forced me to locate a travel agency that was able to help me with all of my other travel plans. Upon receiving my Visa statement I am now faced with trying to clear up all of the mistakes that Expedia Hong Kong, made in dealing with this matter. I am now safely back home in Canada, trying to deal with the same people that I could not deal with in Hong Kong.
- Emmy (4/5): Poor service - The Hotel is not yet worth to be on Hotel. Com list. It has no staff, no facilities, no internal communication no good condition.
- Anatoly (10/5): a cheap stay for a backpacker - A good stay. Small single room, clean, with a toilet and shower in it.
