Pool was nice, bar was a party! The doors. Everyone bangs the door as it is tight, most likely due to the salty sea air but I’m sure there are other non erosive hardware that can fix those doors. Very disturbing

- Lani (10/5): Stylishly Updated, Best Beds on the Island! - We found our stay at the Ocean Tide Resort extremely comfortable. We stayed at 3 separate accommodations in San Pedro as we planned our trip late and had to move around some to accommodate our dates. This was by far the most updated unit and equivalent to a 4 star accommodation in the U.S. The mattress, linens, and pillows were luxurious, The AC worked like a champ and the bathroom was stylishly updated with plenty of space, storage, a walk in shower and hooks for all of your wet towels and belongings. There was also additional storage In the wall unit which was plenty for a short stay. This is a fairly compact set up as the rooms open up straight onto the pool and deck area where there are several tables, Hammocks, loungers and a sweet little bar. It has a great vibe and we found that everyone who frequented this business was sociable and pleasant. Because of this, it does lack some privacy but that was not a concern for us. The space never felt overcrowded and it quieted down both nights by 9 o'clock. I suspect that they spent some time insulating the walls when they updated the rooms as we slept extremely well and could not hear our neighbors. The pool was all you really needed to cool down which I would think would be quite necessary during hotter times of the year especially since The sargasso seaweed and sea walls in between most accommodations and the water makes it challenging to access it conveniently. There are several very good restaurants In close proximity to the hotel which was very convenient as was the morning coffee service that was provided outside the office. If you rent a golf cart there is also parking right outside the gate. Lastly, the staff was very hospitable and accommodating, offering to pick us up and drop us off from transportation hubs should we need it. If comfort and convenience are your priorities this is the place for you!

The food at Cool Beans just in front of the property has great food, prepare to spread 1.5/2 hrs there as it's a small over water kitchen, worth it! We would definitely come back to Ocean Tide?

Zu Fuß ist man schnell in der City. Für mich etwas zu laut, Zimmer 1.etage neben Bar und Pool. Die Lage ist direkt am Meer, aber schwimmen kann man nicht dort. Für Leute die Part wollen und direkt zum tauchen gehen ist es optimal.

- Ernest (6/5): Hope to see some changes. - View was great, Jiggy was helpful. And the maintenance guy was very helpful and kind. We were told we had a tab at the bar listed under our room, yet we never went to the bar. On the last night we tried to get our complementary drink and they ended up closing 30 min earlier than they previously told us. I took a child shower as the plumbing was backwards. The rms were very hot and machines that sucks moisture out of room pushed or hot air. The shower had tile coming up from floor and it cut my foot. If some of these things were explained at check in we probably would have had a better time.

- GrandTour47895618696 (10/5): Great rooms, tours, and staff - We loved our stay at this place. The location is great if you want to experience San Pedro by foot or golf cart. The staff are the ones who really make this place special. There's always a laid back crowd at the bar. We went on a full day tour with Jiggy and Austin who are such great guys. They made sure we had an amazing day snorkeling and exploring.

It definitely doesn’t look like the pictures, the pool is dirty and calling it a resort is straight up ridiculous. The communication with the manager was also questionable. - cj_in_htx (10/5): Home Away from Home - I went back to San Pedro (4th visit) for Lobsterfest 2025 and this was my 2nd stay at the Ocean Tide. It feels like going to visit a long-lost relative who you actually want to visit. Tula - the resort manager - is like your favorite Auntie. She picks you up from the airport, fills you in on local stuff, reminds you not to flush the tp, hands you the key, tells you not to forget your spf and have fun. Then you go to the poolside bar and Raymond, the favorite cousin, is slinging cold drinks and remembers everything that comes out of your drunk mouths each night. He is a joy, and you can tell he loves his job. Some locals may be hanging out there, too, and there's no shortage of fun company. There's even a house kitty - OT - the chillest cat I ever met. The rooms are just right, and housekeeping does a nice job. They were upgrading a few rooms while we were there, so they take good care of the property. It's very convenient to all of the in-town beach hangouts. They have security at night, and it feels completely safe. There's also a convenience store nearby, literally a minute walk, that has affordable golf carts. Ocean Tide will be my home away from home any time I go back. P.S. ask Ray for a "Mermaid's Milk" - you're welcome.

Jiggy took us out fishing and prepared the catch at the hotel after, full service! Can’t forget a shout out to the friendliest bartenders Raymond and Gabby and security guard Hilberto. - Lileth (10/5): Sensational Solo Getaway - Everything was perfect! From the very beginning the hotel staff were helpful and super accommodating. I felt safe being that I was a female solo traveler was that is important. It was close to a lot of night life. The room was cute and comfortable. TV came with Netflix and other stuff if that matters. Staff were very friendly just like most of the people in the city. The restaurant across the pier tasted great and fresh. The golf cart recommendation was top notch. No complaints!

Arrived earlier than designated check-in time & room was ready which was appreciated. Comfortable bed & room very clean. Free coffee every morning by the pool. Bar man was fun & gave good advice e.g. eat at Sandy Toes restaurant which is a short walk along the beach with great Mexican food. Good street parking next to the hotel for our buggy rental. The hotel is the north side of town so easy drive to Secret Beach. Would definitely stay again. Room was right in front of pool so had to close curtains for privacy. Not a big deal though as pool area was never crowded.

The room we had was lovely and clean very spacious the shower was great and the staff were more than friendly we got picked up and dropped off at the ferry terminal, Supermarkets and the main town for takeaways/ restaurants are close for walking , I'd recommend staying here

The staff was like family, BIG SHOUT OUT to Jiggy, Raymond, John and Gaby for making us feel so welcomed each and every day!! The boat tours were monumental. We did 3 bucket list items in one day. Jiggy (and John) will tend to what your group wants and make it happen for you while smiling the entire time. ❤️ Skies the limit! Raymond (and Gaby) work onsite ar the Lazy Pelican bar. Never had to look for service, Ray Ray would check on you with no oressure and juat a smile! And of course, then there is the lovely Ms Tula. She is absolutely incredible and such a boss!! We spoke with her on and off for 6 months before arriving and never skipped a beat replying and keeping us fully informed. The location was perfect, just outside of downtown San Pedro and anything else we did was within a 20-30 minute golf cart ride. The rooms were updated and comfortable. The view was fantastic. We also enjoyed OT the resort cat who greets you every morning. Such a cool and unique touch. We will for sure stay again.

- lucyinthesky77777 (10/5): Perfect Vacation - My daughter and I enjoyed a fantastic week at Ocean Tides Hotel. Tula the manager was super helpful and communicative with directions, ferry information from Beliz city and went above and beyond to create a very welcoming and wonderful experience. We got upgraded to a lovely double queen bed. Firstly, I need great pillows for my sleep and the bedding was soft and very comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect to cool off and rest in between the fun. Large tote with pool towels included. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap in the shower. Fresh, clean towels This hotel is situated right on the beach and there a numerous great restaurants and dive and snorkel options. Upon arrival we received a welcome cocktail at the bar by the pool and Raymundo and Gabi became our favorite bartenders. Respectfully, the bar closes at 9pm and security stays overnight so when you return from dinner you feel safe. Having said that we felt very much at home, we met amazing boat captains and locals that brought us many gifts of local flair. Belizean people and warm and friendly and are always happy to help. A couple of tips. If you take the ferry, as always there are taxi drivers waiting. Skip the car and take a cart. Shouldn’t be more than 10$ belizean dollars. The ride is about 3-4 minutes and we paid $20 us for a car. It’s not a place to safe $ but I would rather spend on other fun activities. Great espresso and heave duty breakfast for the day right next store. 16 Ounces is walking distance if you want beautiful , healthy juices and food and much more. Overall, we would like to return with the rest of our family. I love San Pedro and inlet part of my heart to there.
- 433tamiv (10/5): An excellent trip - staff made it even better. - We recently stayed at Ocean Tide for 2 weeks. We have stayed there several times over the years, and have always had a wonderful time. Tula, John, Raymond, Jiggy and the whole crew are so welcoming, helpful and professional. The location is fantastic, the bar has a great mix of locals and tourists, OT the cat is wonderful, and the view is marvelous. We brought several friends to Ocean Tide this year, and they all want to return. Thank you to the staff of Ocean Tide! We will be back!

- RobertafromMI (10/5): San Pedro’s Best Kept Secret - I loved our eight nights at Ocean Tide. Tula and her team took great care of us! The poolside room was super clean, quiet, comfortable and just feet from the beach. From arranging a golf cart, to airport transportation and helping make a friend’s birthday party happen—all of our questions were answered and needs met! There’s something sweet about a small hotel that really values its guests. The Lazy Pelican bar and its amazing, funny and warm bartender Raymond was a great place to hang out and chat with locals. The location, right on the beach and within walking distance to all the stuff jn San Pedro made this place perfect to stay. We’ll be back!
- Amy (10/5): Great little ocean front spot - Really great little spot, rooms are amazing, and modern great view of the ocean. Bartender and manager are very lovely and welcoming. Some comments say it's noisey at night, but bar now closes promptly at 9pm which is perfect. There are tons of restaurants/bars minutes away with events every night. Only small negative, pool deck doesn't get a ton of sun in the afternoon, get out there early!
- Kathryn (10/5): Very comfortable stay in an ideal location - Ocean Tide was absolutely perfect! The beds were so comfortable, it’s the best sleep I’d had in two months of travel. The room has clearly been recently updated and had great AC and a nice TV. The shower had really good pressure and there was always hot water. They have a dehumidifier in the bathroom which is a nice touch - I haven’t seen it before and it made sure there was no musty smell (which I’ve become accustomed to in other humid places). The bar is great and there’s music in the evening, it always stops at a reasonable hour though - great if you’ve been out snorkelling all day and need an early night! The hotel is in a great location, close to some great bars and easy walking distance from town. There are quite a few supermarkets nearby as well, and a couple of great bakeries :) The info book from the hotel has some great recommendations I would 100% recommend staying here! Nothing I can think of
- angelapM2425QR (10/5): Fishing with Jiggy - Memorable Trip - We did a family fishing trip with 501 Adventure Tours and Captain Dorian "Jiggy" Carrillo. He keeps his boat on the dock in front of the Resort, next to Cool Beans. The whole family enjoyed the trip. Captain Jiggy picked us up at the dock, he first caught fresh sardines for bait, and then took us to our fishing spot. We caught about 16 fish and he filet the catch and took to a local restaurant that prepared them three ways, cajon blackened, fried, and grilled. With a choice of sides and drinks. Was a feast. Memorable trip, highly recommend.

- 667robynw (10/5): Trip of a lifetime - One of the best vacations we've ever been on! The hotel staff and amenities were great! The rooms appeared to have been recently renovated, very modern and nice. The hotel location provides access to several restaurants and beach bars in walking distance. Although, the hotel bar offers plenty! The highlight of our trip were the excursions booked through the hotel. The first day Jiggy took us fishing and a trip to Caye Caulker for the tarpon, seahorses and stingrays. The second day Jiggy led us on a snorkeling trip, conch diving and swimming with sharks and sting rays. He even prepared fresh conch ceviche from the conchs we collected. Our third trip involved going to the mainland for the mayan ruins at Altun-Ha and cave tubing. So many adventures in one trip! I would recommend the hotel and their excursions 1000 times over! Such a great vacation!!
- Clair (8/5): - Nice little ocean front spot. Rooms were renovated and clean. Pool area with bar was nice. The pool needed to be cleaned, however, so we chose not to get in it. Bartender offered a complimentary drink upon arrival, but didnt offer anything after that, nor did he attempt to engage with us. Apppears as though locals gather there and guests are not forefront. Security at night was great and very friendly. Close to many food establishments. A water lbottle filling station would be a fantastic addition.
- matthewtE4629XU (10/5): Great Place and Great People - This hotel is perfect for a couple wanting to explore San Pedro and wants to avoid the resorts. Rooms are fairly updated and are kept very clean. The AC blows cold! It is walking distance from great food, grocery stores, and golf cart rentals. Tula at the front desk was very helpful getting us to and from the airport and the ferry to Belize City. We did a full day snorkeling and fishing tour with Jiggy and we loved it. He took great care of us, make great ceviche, and make sure we had a great time. We can’t say enough good things about Jiggy! The bar tenders Tevin and Clive were great and gave us suggestions of the places to go explore and places to eat. Great people and a great place. I recommend this place to friends and family.
- Akeisha (8/5): - The stay at this resort for my birthday weekend was a great find. Staff were friendly and provided us with clean towels when needed/asked as well as help navigating the island (Thanks John!) The location was very convenient and walkable to a lot of restaurants, shops, and local delis less than a 5 minute walk away that I went to a few times— I recommend Yoli’s Deli for fried fish and rice and beans . Location is also walkable to the water taxi which was especially helpfully when we had to catch a 6am ferry into Belize city for an excursion. The view outside of the resort overlooks the ocean and is very beautiful in early morning and late hours; my family and I enjoyed going for a quick swim in it. Overall, pretty worth it for the price

- H6203EGjosephk (10/5): Jiggy is the man! - We met Jiggy in town and in turn, let him take us out 3 days in a row. His expert knowledge of the area allowed us to maximize our vacation. From fishing, snorkeling, catching lobster and making fresh ceviche on the boat, showing us the tarpon and seahorses, as well as letting us swim with rays and sharks. Jiggy and his brother made this trip one to remember. We highly recommend him for any type of adventure you are in the mood for. He even took us to another island, Caye Caulker where he walked us around the town and explained everything to us. He made several recommendations of restaurants that always turned out better than expected. He supplies waters, sodas, ice, fresh fruit, and most importantly… something to splash in the coke! Could not give these guys a higher rating!

- Elena (8/5): - This was a cute small hotel near downtown San Pedro. It was convenient for walking to a number of bars and restaurants. We liked our room and the facilities. Our main issue was with the bar. It attracted locals who used the hotel pool and sitting area for their personal parties. This was due to the bar being tiny. The atmosphere took away from the hotel. The bar staff were all very nice just like the hotel staff but they love to party so keep that in mind when booking.

- Katlyn (10/5): Perfect spot on the beach and a local hangout! - This place was the perfect spot on the water! The room was just like the photos and the beds were comfy. The room was a bit humid but that is just Belize. They did have a dehumidifier in the room to help with this. Its a local hangout spot which was nice to hang with the locals at the pool bar. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The location was right on the water and a 10 min walk to the "main town area" but also a nice walk along the beach to tons of bars and restaurants as well. I suppose if I had to choose something it would be the pickup and drop off times for the hotel to take you to the ferry they don't start till 9am and end at 5pm. Other than that, everything was great

Clive is just an all around great person kept us smiling and TY the best on the island he was so kind friendly and made sure we knew all the spots to try. The resort is in the perfect area food beach and bars all in walking distance. D'Family is attached and it was hands down the best food. When I return I will stay at Ocean Tide!

This was my second time visiting San Pedro and I love the vacation even more, very clean, great hospitality, friendly service, near everything, and Clive was the best Dj! Pier is right in front of the hotel. Excursions can pick you up there. Hotel has its own boat staff that can be used for exploration and adventures.

Clive and TY at the bar were on point with the drinks. Good service, good party vibe at the poolside bar, and tasty drinks. Rooms were newly renovated and it shows. They looked new. Shower had great water pressure. Jiffy the boat driver was awesome. He took us to so many cool places. He took us to Caye Caulker to see the town. He took us to sting rays and to feed the giant fish. He even took us fishing. It was really a great time. So many good restaurants and bars near by. Easy walk to the store or places to eat. Plus food was delivered poolside. That food was good. Late night pizza is where it’s at. Will stay here again.
- OnAir530201 (10/5): Beautiful, beachfront boutique hotel w/ pool and bar - Interior renovation since the last time I visited. Top notch, beautiful, functional boutique hotel. Beds were comfortable and shower was amazing. Good water pressure and HOT. Can hang out in or at the pool or at the Lazy Pelican Bar. TY and Clive are the best. The rest of the team takes care of business. Ms Tula, John, Jiggy (501 adventures boat captain), thank you all for being great hosts to our family. We all loved it.
- jrN9941WI (10/5): Great time at Ocean Tide and with the snorkeling tour - I am really glad that we picked this place after looking at a number of different choices. There were four different couples and we were all very pleased. I love the location being in town. The people that run this are fantastic. We went on a snorkeling tour with Jiggy, who runs the tours for the hotel. Definitely glad we used him. Very nice and safe.
