Guest Reviews
- Pamela (10/5): - The Innkeepers were welcoming, excellent suggestions for visiting the area & great cooks!
The bedroom was beautifully decorated & very comfortable. We liked being close to town & were able to easily walk to shopping & restaurants. Our favorite accommodation on our 2 week road trip in the Canadian Rockies.
- Edward (10/5): - This was home base for our first vacation in 4 years and first time to Banff. We so enjoyed our 5 day visit, Buffaloberry is beautiful, hosts could not have been more lovely, the breakfasts were gourmet. We loved the best blueberry pancakes! Teresa and James the hosts know all the best places to hike and see around Banff. The rooms were so well appointed, sitting on the patio in the evening we could hear wind rustling through the trees. Or we could relax in the living room with music, a good book and afternoon dessert, hope she makes brownies again. A true oasis.
- Anthony (10/5): Favorite B&B - Buffaloberry is now our favorite B&B. Spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable rooms are highlighted by the comfortable “social areas” and, especially, the attentiveness and friendliness of the hosts. We’d like to return with the family for another wonderful visit to Banff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful B&B and owners were knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast each morning was exceptional and evening snack & drinks were a great addition.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay here was wonderful and I have no negatives to report. The proprietors are experienced professionals who make you feel at home and are knowledgeable about the local environs.
- diane (10/5): Delightful Banff B&B - The inn is lovely, immaculate and wonderfully located.
- sarah (10/5): great two night stop - beautiful place and so close to town
- Rae (10/5): - Everything about this location was first rate. ThanksJames and Teresa.
- ROBERT J (8/5): Overpriced. - Not worth the money.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A fantastic experience! If we visit the area again, we'll plan to stay at this B&B again. Great people who care about their guests and give the best recommendations for food, trails, etc. Outstanding experience.
- nina (10/5): Oh Canada thanks for the memories - Theresa and James were so helpful in suggesting ways to make our vacation go smoother, offering tips and opinions to go about their beautiful town. Their breakfast was a delicious way to start the day and the location was perfect with easy parking options and walkable to town for shopping and restaurants. Their home was clean, comfortable, and convenient, which takes the stress out of vacationing. Thanks for the hospitality!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Near perfect! - The location was perfect. A very short walk to the main street, which was very crowded. The Buffaloberry was quiet and comfortable. The rooms were a nice size since it was built as a B&B. The back patio was beautiful and very pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. The flowers and plants were abundant and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
- Scott (10/5): Nice bed and breakfast, great location. - James and Theresa are very nice and accommodating. They keep their bed and breakfast spotless. Theresa was very creative and made us wonderful breakfasts that met our dietary needs. They were very knowledgeable about hiking in the area and gave us great recommendations. Great location, two blocks from shops and restaurants. Everything was perfect. We will visit again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): The best vacation we have ever taken!!! - Ideally situated right off of downtown Banff, the Buffaloberry B&B offered everything we were looking for - gracious hosts, wonderful rooms, and fantastic breakfast. We could not ask for anything more!!!
- Lisa (10/5): Wish we had stayed longer! - Hosts were charming and breakfasts were superb. Would highly recommend and our only regret was that we were only here one night.
- Karen (10/5): Love Buffaloberry B&B - We stayed here for three nights and rode the Banff GranFondo. It couldn't have been more perfect - the B&B is beautiful, our hostess was exceptional, the breakfasts were amazing. Highly recommend.
- Todd (10/5): Great stay in Banff - Great accommodations, wonderful breakfasts and warm informative hosts. I would recommend this B & B to everyone.
- Nick & Sara (10/5): Above and beyond - It was not in a price range I'd usually consider BUT I am thrilled I did. From the heated carpet and tiles to the quality bed linens and bathroom towels & soaps, this place was comfortable and quite. The hosts were incredible friendly, accommodating and informative. The breakfast they provided easily would have costed $30-40 each person. It's a gem.
- kerry (10/5): Lovely guesthouse, great hosts, fab breakfasts. - Our hosts were wonderful, full,of knowledge about Banff and the surrounding area. We only had a short time there so wanted to make the most of it. We were able to borrow bear spray, and take advice of the best hikes to do in the day, and where to go for supper in the evening. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable, and the shower was excellent!.
If we manage to get back to this area we would want to stay again at Buffaloberry, and would recommend to anyone else. It's just brilliant!
- Ryan (10/5): Lovely Bed and Breakfast Experience - Theresa and James do a fantastic job making the experience both extremely comfortable (excellent room cleanliness) and amazingly personal by scheduling couples to their own breakfast time (shared with 1 or 2 couples, occasionally). Their incredibly welcoming demeanor immediately made us feel at home as they cooked fantastic homemade meals and gave us personalized advice for taking on the mountain of possible adventures to be found in Banff. Every suggestion turned out to be great advice for us with just enough adventure to get our feet wet without biting off more than we could chew. Everything from parking in a convenient basement garage right next to T and J's car to our last morning conversations with them made my wife and I feel extraordinarily at home. The room was furnished with cozy items along with a beautiful new looking bathroom. Upon leaving, we both decided we had to recommend this place to anyone that is looking for an amazing couples' B&B!!
- Richard (10/5): Understated luxury with a personal touch. - Set in a secluded residential area, the elegant and refined property is immaculately presented and maintained. The owners instantly make visitors feel comfortable and welcome. Their knowledge of the local area is peerless, and no effort is too much to assist in informing and guiding visitors to get the most out of their stay. The Buffaloberry experience leaves a lasting impression; the B&B itself probably cannot be bettered anywhere.
