The things that only a family owned and operated motel can provide. They take good care of their guests.
• DWANA (6/5): - so i got this room on expedia, then arrived and the hotel desk said no there was no room in my name. so i said no i got it on expedia they checked again said no. so i figured maybe my order just didn’t finish processing. i then paid the fee for the night (which was actually cheaper than i paid via expedia by 30$ dollars. so i was charged twice, for the same room, i am becoming suspicious of the motel and if there are motives behind their move, because i had my reservation. i am still await for my money back from them, its inly been two says since, so i will call tomorrow

• georgie212121 (10/5): Great family stay! - Had a great time with my teenage son. We travel with a surf board. the motel was perfect. Every room on the second floor had a view of the ocean. No busy streets to walk across. I love being able to swim, 45 seconds later you're in your room! the whole place was a family within the handsome family that runs the place. The handyman lived across the parking lot from me in an upper. "Paul" comes from Michigan for lengthy stays; he's fun. The daughter gently scolded me for bringing a hotel deck chair down to the beach. I had it coming to me! the whole place was fun.

This hotel had a friendly staff, easy parking and was right on the beach, as well as close to nearby stores. Several restaurants along with breakfast places were right nearby. Would recommend!

• Verified traveler (2/5): Roach infestation - We had a part of eight friends book four rooms. All 4 rooms had roach infestations. To top matters off, two of the bathrooms, new toilet bowls didn’t have water fill the bowls. It was a rather poor experience; four members of our party left to stay at another place despite having paid in full
• Peter (2/5): Gross Hotel. - The hotel was absolutely filthy. The rooms had cockroaches the toilets didn’t flush. The pool was filthy full of sand and had a green algae in it. This hotel is below the one star! How this hotel can be open is beyond me.
• Macie (2/5): - It’s very dirty and unkept, we booked a non smoking room yet our blankets had cigarette burns in them, the sheets were absolutely filthy and stained, bugs on the floor. Mold along the top of the door, the fire alarm was completely removed all together which is completely unsafe, this whole place was a complete mess, the manager also stayed awake watching us on security cameras while we went to walk the beach, only 3 people stayed the night and 2 of us left, he made sure to stay awake watching us till 1 am which is weird behavior. I will make sure to post pictures of the sheets and the walls

I think the price is could’ve been a little less for what the condition was but it is on the beach so it’s expected, I would stay there again

We figured since a lot of building supplies in parking lot. Next room sheets were stained and looked like codee grounds or dirt in bed. Then bugs. We didn't say anything because we were so tired got up early next morning and left. This place needs a lot of attention

The parking is a nightmare and the lot is completely full after 10pm. Don't bring a big truck. Pool is full of brown water. The area reeks of smoke and people are out and about from dusk until dawn. Should not be available through Expedia. More like a local motel.

• 456darrinb (2/5): Totally disappointed. - This motel has been the worst we have been in. It was nothing like advertised. It smelled like mold like the carpet was previously wet. We left in the middle of the night due to roaches being in our bed.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - This place was terrible all around. When we first entered the room, several things were visible. The bathroom had 1 roll of toilet paper, 2 towels, & 2 bar soaps (that broke on first use). The shower drain was rusted with visible hair clumps just sitting there. The sheets had small spots on them, bed & pillows were hard as rocks. The mini fridge had a cup on the bottom with what looked like fungus in it and the smell of vinegar was enough to make a person vomit. We didn’t even open the microwave. The tv was a giant paper weight. No channels were available, and had cords just hanging off the front of the cabinet for hdmi port. Half of the wall outlets didn’t work. There was a t shirt left behind a chair. The staff were barely available/helpful. When asked for towel exchange, we were handed 1 towel (which also looked unclean). While we were out of the room, someone came in a vacuumed, but didn’t do anything else. Not once was the beds made or towels that were left on the floor exchanged. We observed a lady with a rag and spray bottle coming in and out of rooms & assuming she was the cleaner. Several times we would see suspicious activity such as a man and woman pull up, get out, drop a syringe & needle on the ground & pick it up, enter a room for 20 minutes and leave. Payment is non refundable, and now I know why.

• Ej (2/5): Sleep in the car instead! - Took a day trip to celebrating my husband and I anniversary. I understand that you get what you pay for but the room rate should have been $29/NT instead of $129. Unfortunately, there was very slim rooms available for July 4th weekend but there was a door to the outside with a deadbolt only no way to secure it for safety. Then the amount of German Roaches in the room we couldn’t sleep not knowing if they were going to crawl all over us while we slept. Safety & Security is not what they make a priority. The front window was cracked and an actual key (house) to be used. It’s 2023, I have been in hotel service for 20+ years this is overall the worst I’ve ever stayed at.

• Keith (8/5): Nice little place but no check-i n after 10pm - Nice little place directly on the beach. Flew in late & needed a place for a short nite. WARNING: No check in after 10pm which you don't find out until after you book. No refunds! After a few texts & phone calls they let us pick up a key in a drop box. Whew! Nice people & very cozy. Pool closed. What else is new as that seems to be a common occurance at many of the smaller places.
• Michelle (6/5): - pool and entrance to the beach is closed. One bed was comfortable and one bed squeaked. I was charged a $5 fee for putting the $50 room deposit on a credit card. Shower has NO pressure at all. Took 45 minutes to wet my hair to be able to wash it.

There were little bugs on the window in the bathroom. A dirty napkin was left in the room (after cleaning and it wasnt mine). The morning i left i was in the bathroom getting ready and there was a construction worker right at my bathroom window. It was overpriced for what it was. Would not stay there again.

• Trail30745943057 (2/5): Worst motel experience I have ever had! - Rate at a 1. If I could rate a -1, I would. This was the nastiest motel I have ever stayed in! The hotel charged me $80 for 2 extra people which I thought was too much. There was poop in the toilet, blood on the bedsheets next to the cigarette burns. They tried to change our room after we notified the front, and they tried to move us to a room that was already occupied. Bugs were flying onto my cell phone screen. It was so bad, we didn’t stay the 2nd night we booked.

We had holes in our walls, the room smelled like cleaner covering up mould, most of the lamps in the room were broken, I wouldn't wall on the carpet without shoes and pool was totally broken (they say under construction), but definitely not like the photos for this place show.

Everything had to be plugged into the desk lamp. the refrigerator was completely filthy when I got there and the shower had mold. The sink in the bathroom had little legs from roaches laying behind the faucet
• Ronald G. (8/5): - Quiet hotel on the beach, but still haven't repaired the access to the beach directly from the hotel since the hurricane a couple of years ago. You have to walk about a block to access the beach from a street ramp. Enjoyable stay!

• Andrew (4/5): - The property seems to have great staff to provide an amicable check-in experience, however the overall cleanliness as well as the attention to detail in the room seemed a bit lackluster. The bed sheets seemed to not been washed with care and seemed to have a few stains. The bathroom towels seem like they have been used for a long time now, the property could really use some new towels since these are extremely coarse and not clean. Overall, a 2/5 for myself based on the fact that the location and staff made up those two points. A little investment onto the property would definitely attract more people and allow them to be repeat customers in the future.

Ended up grabbing my belongings and leaving because I checked in at 10:15pm and the office was supposed to be open until 10:30 but no one was there To bring up the issue.
