- Debby (10/5): Comfort and clean. - The hotel is away from the hustling bustling shopping area, but within 10 minutes walk through a residential area to Huagiang North, which could be nice for people who likes quieter area. Hotel is very modern and clean. Staffs are courteous . I stayed in a standard room, which was very spacious and comfortable.
- JULIO (8/5): - Fantastic Design & Great Location, but Needs Some Improvements I recently stayed at HUI Hotel in Shenzhen, and I must say the design is absolutely fantastic! The ambiance is both cozy and stylish, with a beautifully designed lobby that sets the tone from the moment you step in. The corridors are sleek and modern, and the terrace bar offers stunning views over the Futian area, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, providing great comfort. The restaurant for breakfast also has a nice view, making mornings more enjoyable. Location-wise, it’s perfect, just 200 meters from the MRT, making it very convenient for getting around. Facilities like the pool, spa, and gym are well-equipped, The breakfast is very good, but there’s still room for improvement to match the overall high standard of the hotel. In general, maintenance could be better. Attention to detail is crucial to keep the property as stunning as it was on day one. Additionally, being an international hotel, the staff should improve their English skills to better cater to international travelers. Overall, HUI Hotel is an awesome place to stay, but with better upkeep and service improvements, it could truly reach the level it deserves.
- Xu (2/5): 超级差劲的入住体验 - 非常差！！！！！ 一进房间就有很大的异味，疑似夹杂海鲜和潮味，同时房间昏暗，灯光控制很差很差，灯光永远只能开一半导致房间不管什么时候都是暗的，整体色调并不像他们宣传图那样有格调，很古板老旧。 窗户很小，而且无法开启和通风，导致房间异常闷，且房间内部AC系统超级差劲！！！ 早餐样式特别少，而且超级难吃，唯一能吃的就是成品的包子，都不是手工包的，饮品也很难喝； 入住时告诉我们酒要收费，其他都免费，但是啤酒和其他饮料都一起放mini bar里面，我们以为是外面红酒要收费，minibar里面根本没有费用标识，也没有水单，退房才告诉我们啤酒也要收费。 体验真的很差劲👎 就房间和服务而言三星级酒店都比不过，全季，维也纳之类的都比她好很多

- ADELA CHING YAN (8/5): - Overall the room was comfortable, it was the bathroom that was a bit run down, as in my sink was not draining well, and the faucet was rusted. Other than that though, the room itself is very well kept and very clean. The lobby was very humid and the windows were covered in dew/water, could benefit with a few dehumidifier. Oh and there are bird in cages at the lobby, if you’re allergic, get your friend who’s not to check in instead.

- Yun (6/5): - Super large rooms with fancy amenities. The rooftop gave a nice skyline view of Futian, SZ. Staffs were polite. I booke two standard rooms and was given an upgrade for one of the rooms. Upon entering the standard room, I could smell the cigarette scent and was asked to exchange for another room. The staff immediately offered us to check in to another unit (which is a bigger unit). All in all, both rooms were upgraded. The king size bed was comfortable. Only complaint to note was receiving a call from front desk at 1 am telling me that the police is coming to my room (didn’t not specific a reason). I got a knock on the door after a few minutes. Being a non-China resident, I had no idea what the heck was going on. I didn’t get a warning of a potential police check up at midnight. I was a little hesitant to open the room door. Apparently this was a standard “random” check up done by the police - that also woke me up in the middle of the night.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Friendly staff but lacks substance and experience - The location and decor at the hotel is great. The staff are friendly but they speak very little English. Our room was large and comfortable but we had a strong smell of smoke that seemed to be coming from the shower. The staff did try to sort this out for us but it didn't seem to ever stop. There was no menu for in-room dining and as everything was in Chinese, we couldn't watch the TV either which became a little frustrating. The rooftop bar has an amazing view! Overall a nice hotel with staff who really try to please the guests, but it lacks experience of 5 star service and it's not very accessible for non-Mandarin speakers.

We stayed two nights I fell in love with the design of the hotel it was beautiful however service was a bit slow and I think the design aspects overshadowed some functionality of the rooms overall a great place - make sure you visit the roof for 360 degree view of Shenzhen
- Eirik (6/5): Beautiful hotel but horrible service - A beautifully designed boutique hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms. The location is a bit "off" for business. The service leaves a lot to desire as very few staff (none at the restaurants, only at the reception) speak some form of English and none seem to make much effort to assist. As such, it seems to be a hotel more aimed at catering for a domestic and not an international clientele. Please also pay attention to what you may consume from the minibar as some items were expired six months ago and had a not so appealing appearance. I won't be back.

- Verified traveler (4/5): 호텔 직원 불손한 태도 - 호텔 아침 레스토랑을 열지도 않습니다. 이용객이 없어서 열지 않았다고 합니다. 이정도가 무슨 5성급 호텔인지 이해가 가지 않습니다. 이미 지급한 숙박비용에 + 30%이상에 보증금비용으로 요구하여 카드를 주었는데 Check out 시에 보증금에 대한 취소를 요구하니 나중에 하겠다며 그냥 가라고 주장을 하더라구요. 미니바 사용여부를 확인해보라고 했더니 사용안한것이 확인되었으니 그냥 가라고 하더라고요 나중에 취소 하겠다고 하더라고요. 참 어이가 없는 서비스입니다. 확인영수증을 요구하여 간신히 받아 왔습니다. 이호텔은 다시는 사용하지 않을 예정입니다.

- Gonza (8/5): Great experience but could be greater - Lovely hotel. This is the second time I stay there. The rooms are amazing and the hotel's common areas are modern, beautiful and well maintained. There was a funny smell in our room that could not be handled during our 3-day stay. The only point to improve is the stuff's comprehension of the English language. Definitely a problem when ordering food or trying to fix a problem. The dinner menu in the restaurant is rather limited as well as the wine menu. Other than that the hotel is great and it's a gem in the middle of Shenzhen.

Located in central CBD, the building was originally for commercial/industrial use, but it has been tastefully converted into a very trendy/unique hotel with impeccable & artistic details! Artistic, tasteful & low-profile, from facade, lobby/bar, corridore and each individual room. Bathroom mat/lighting/artsy furniture/painting/art pieces in the room also shows how much thoughts have been put into this hotel, and there's even a revolving cabin/tea table in my room. I will give this place 12/10 :DDD Highly recommend if u wanna see a "new" shenzhen!
- Weiyi (8/5): - The room is big with separate space for toilet and shower. I love my room decoration which is simple and modern. It is located in the city center, around 10 mins' walking to "HuaQiang" shopping area, and quite close to the MTR station as well. But the surrounding neighborhood is a bit noisy. Given the hotel is only 6 floors' tall, we would directly look into other resident's room if we open the window curtain, which reduces the privacy.

Service was good, minor language issues. 4 stars because service was spotty Could get a cup of coffee or tea before departing early? Tough to order in restaurant, none of the cafe staff spoke any english but they were very friendly and we worked through it. Restaurant appears a little tattered with age. Room was awesome and well appointed with slow sink drains and noisy projector clock.

- RRodriguez (10/5): 5 Star Hotel in Shenzhen - I had a wonderful stay at Hui Hotel. The staff were amazing - Bandy at front desk, Coco in housekeeping, Jojo my massage therapist, and the rest of the staff. The hotel was exceptional and met my very high expectations. Upon arrival to my room - a nice note from the general manager welcomed me to the hotel with a couple of delicious pastries and spa music playing from the TV which set a very relaxing tone for my week long stay. The room I booked was the "Premier Room" which had the walk-in closet I wanted and had partial view of the Central Park across the street. The bathroom was huge with separate tub which they included a package of bath salts; shower had a rain shower head; very nice slippers (not the cheap ones) and bathrobes.The towels were top quality and fluffy; the bed firm that included 4 king sized pillows. I had unlimited amounts of complimentary bottled water, tea and Nespresso coffee - All I had to do was ask Coco or the front desk and they gladly stocked up my room every morning or when I requested. The night table had controls of all the lights and the electric shades - very modern. The work area was spacious and the internet worked effortlessly - I was able to work for hours with no interruptions. The view from the top floor restaurant and deck was great! I had pasta for lunch on my last day and it was delicious. The hotel was excellent place to meet my business partner and a short walking distance to the electronics marketplace where I needed to be daily.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Place to Stay!!! - The HUI Hotel is a wonderful hotel with an amazing staff. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. The location could be better but it is close enough to the heart of the city for most. The hotel is near several nice shopping areas and the local restaurants are fabulous. The restaurants within the hotel are very good with great customer service. The staff was responsive and courteous. The room was nicely appointed and very clean. The ambiance of the room was excellent. The spa staff was professional and the service was pristine. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in during my many travel adventures.

Stool in front of dressing table ( where sink is ) suits ladies well. Toilet, dressing table with sink and bath room all seperatd, which gives convenience when there is 2 people. Greatest service from lobby attendant, front desk, cleaning lady to restaurant staff. However we got a cold club sandwich in a room service. This hotel is highly recommended

I will definitely stay here again! The assistant manager Banty went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable and plush! I love it! Again, the service is second to none!

- Gonzalo (8/5): Great Hotel in the Heart of Shenzhen - I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's design and architecture. It has nothing to envy from the best boutique hotels in London or New York. The hotel's design language and concept is well applied throughout the property and every detail is well taken cared of. The restaurant's atmosphere is impressive and relaxed. But this is where things get less fascinating. The iPad-based menu is not in english. Although the images help a hotel this nice has to consider that. Food is very good but it could have some more western options. And service in the restaurant is not to the level of the hotel. Dishes come at different times, they forget about some of them and the kitchen is not well organized. A pity as the quality of the food is excellent. The hotel has been open for a few months so I do think it will get better with time as the crew or servers and kitchen staff get some experience. I stress this fact because we were two people at the table and the only table during lunch and they made several mistakes with our order of 3 dishes. The attitude to solve the mistakes was impeccable and diligent. And such mistakes are not uncommon in China. The hotel tries to be at the best level of western Boutique hotels and it definitely succeeds. It just needs some polishing on the restaurant's service. Front Desk staff is slightly better. I will definitely stay again during my regular visits to Shenzhen.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overpriced and Overrated - Admittedly, the hotel and room’s outlook is fantastic. All the staff members were friendly and very helpful. I would give 100 marks to all of them. However, it is overpriced and overrated as I encountered the following problems during my stay. 1) Besides CNN News, there was no international TV channels available in the room. Most of the high quality hotels do include BBC World News, Australia Network, Fox Sports, Asia, etc. But Hui Hotel only foucus on providing various Chinese TV channels to guests. 2) The number keypad of the TV remote didn’t work. I had to press the “+” button 50 times when I switched from channel no. 1 to 50. 3) The wardrobe was too small which can only accommodate 4 – 5 dresses. 4) I surprised the washroom didn’t have toilet paper holder. And, the toilet paper quality was terrible. 5) The mini refrigerator temperature was too high. Don’t expect it can keep your drinks cold. 6) It was great the minibar including tea, coffee and even Nespresso machine. Unfortunately, there was no creamer or milk available. 7) It has an indoor swimming pool but the water was freezing cold.
- Toby (10/5): A unique hotel in Shenzhen. - Unlike the hotels in the surrounding area (Hilton, Marriott, shangri-la) Hui Hotel offers something unique; a personal touch. As a smaller hotel it is able to concentrate on making each of its guests' experience special. Brett and Felix, along with the rest of the staff, were a delight and I would certainly recommend this to anyone staying in Shenzhen. I look forward to visiting again.

- Gary (8/5): Beautifully designed, great hotel with a caveat - First, note that the location given on the Hotels.com map was NOT correct (as of 20 Dec 2014). It is NOT across (just South) from the park with the art gallery, but is a mile or so East of there, just East of the Central Park. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in--wonderful place, very highly designed. The room was very large (roughly 400 sq ft). Everything was in excellent condition (hotel was only 7 months old when we were there). he main caveat for English-speakers is that the staff's English capabilities when we were there was very, very limited. This was not a huge problem but it meant we were mostly on our own in terms of finding restaurants etc. Other comments: Function did not always follow form (eg the separate toilet room had a clear glass door). But this is not uncommon, and perhaps worth it for the visual appeal the hotel and room had. Gym was small but fine. WiFi was free. Had dinner in the main restaurant downstairs--it was nearly empty but the food was excellent. Had drinks on the top floor (where there is also a somewhat casual restaurant) but the martinis were not very good, and very small (though not expensive). The design of that area was not as nice, taking on a library-type look. The outdoor patio was only open for weekend evenings so we could not go there. Location is not wonderful--its not really near any center of activity, though it is only about 100m from a subway stop.

- Jason (10/5): An unknown gem - The Hui Hotel was an unexpected great find. The detail paid to it's contemporary design was equal to anything I've found anywhere in China. The service was personal exceptional. Multiple staff got to know me personally in my 4 night stay including the general manager. After mentioning the only thing missing from their delicious Western breakfast was orange juice, fresh squeezed orange juice was available every day. The view from the roof top bar is second to none being located beside a massive park with all the large buildings of in the distance 360 degrees. Go up there at night for a drink. The gym and pool adequate and the pool is great for lap swimming. Everything you need as a business traveler and an amazing hotel for vacationer.
