• Verified traveler (6/5): - A basic room with a short walking distance from a BTS station and restaurants. The biggest gripe was the water heater which was located inside the ceiling. There was no way to adjust the water temperature. It was set so hot that I had to turn off the water heater switch altogether.

The building is very old but, if you want a place to stay near Saphan Kwai BTS or Chatuchuk Market, the price is very cheap for Bangkok. Big C Supercentre is also close by. Well run and clean hotel with fairly firm mattresses.

Should think twice before booking or at least call to the reception and confirm your payment before hand. FYI

Personale suoer scortese, hotel spartano e datato, pulizia da rivedere, nel minibar ce'erano ancora bottiglie usate da chi aveva soggiornato prima di noi. L'hotel non dispone di colazione. Servizio taxi da rivedere e non aggiungo altro!!! Unica persona sorridente e gentile la signorina delle pulizie.

The bellman is not approachable but the housekeeping is very nice eventhough she cannot speak English but she helped me of what I need. Advantages: 1. The room is big 2. Housekeeping is nice and everyday cleaning and changing towels Disadvantages: 1. Toilet is small 2. No free shampoo 3. The outlet where you can charge your phone is far from the bed 4. A little bit far from Big C but you can take motortaxi for 20 baht and you can walk too

It's difficult to turn around and difficult to reach the toilet. Not pleasant. The hallways are very noisy so you hear everything in the room. My review is 2 of 10. The food is good.

Saves a lot of laundering. Room could use a little maintenance. Exterior latch on barthdoor missing. Frighsndle broken, but very cold. Nice to have balcony with wash sink for hand laundry. And coin Ip washer and dryer good for budget conscious traveler. Interesting mix of clients. 10 min walk to BTS or easy to catch taxithere gor 35baht. For price very good value.
• Kenneth R (8/5): Nice stay at the Nice Palace - The Nice Palace is a low budget hotel with the superior room I book costing around $AUS35 for the night. The hotel is clean and quiet and there are plenty of places to walk to for food and beverages. While it isn’t 5 star by any means it offers good value for money for what you pay. They could do with a bit of work on the hot water system to increase the heat in the morning. Otherwise, with a pretty cheap breakfast (somewhere between $4 and $8) you purchase if you want, it’s a good place to stay for the night after the long flight from Australia.

However, the bed was like sleeping on concrete and the sheet had a weird smear on it. When we first entered the room it smelt of smoke. The breakfast in the hotel did not look very nice and so we abandoned that meal.

Apart from that,I love the part where there is hair salon in the hotel,massage place and cafe. It's really convinient and clean. We can either choose,taxi,grab car or motorbike to nearby area.
• NG (6/5): - It is a quite old hotel and it is about 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from BTS Saphan Khwai to this hotel. Please print the name and address of this hotel in Thai Language when you asking the direction to this hotel when you walking and searching for this hotel. It is near to Big C shopping center and not easy to find it when you searching for the first time. The furniture in the hotel room is quite old and the breakfast there is not nice and quite expensive. But the hotel room price is quite low. It is near to Chatuchak Market by taking BTS TO MOCHIT BTS STATION. You can find a lot of foods in Big C's food court. Be careful when you walking in short cut road from Big C to this hotel because the short cut road is so quiet and not many people walking there especially during evening time. The hotel provide only a small bottle of water each day, so you have to buy some water in Big C when you stay there. Do not put expensive belongings in your hotel room because the staff will open your luggage zip although you locked it. (just use screwdriver to loosen the zip head and easy to open although you lock with number or locks.)

• Bounmee (4/5): bad experience sleep for 3 nights - We have booked 3 nights through expedia.com, It is cheap price so we did not ask them have our room made. We did need a new towels and bottle of water but the third night they gave us only towel but not bottle of water. We also went out from the room from 9am and return around 10pm. We will be there only for sleeping. However, we had few nightmares, once after other. Turn out, they staffs will get up very early morning before 6AM they will have very loud conversation, laughing and shut the door even louder. We could not sleep and my 15 months old baby woke up and cried so I went out and asked them to stop but few minutes later they did it again ( we were not at the hotel all day so we need a peaceful sleep at night and not get up very early at night). We also realize that hotel needs to have a big renovation especially bathroom, we could not have a cold shower and shower head is very high and fixed so it is very hard for baby to have a shower each time.
• Christopher (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - What can I say. €15 per night. You can't go wrong. 30 mins by train from the airport to Sephan Khwai station. From there it's just a €1 ride in a tuk tuk to the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful Especially when the luggage has been lost by the airline. It arrived the next day. Anywhere we went was only €2/€3 by taxi. Overall a super spot.

• Puteri Liza Zahirah (8/5): convenient and clean room - The room is comfortable, and the food there really delicious and it's near to store like Tesco lotus and 7eleven, there's a lot of shops around and restaurants. Chatuchak market is around 17min drive.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great price and pretty nice room - The hotel is old but nice to stay, located not too far from the main road Sutthisan Rd. You need to walk 15-20 minutes to get to the nearest BTS station: Saphan Khwai. If you do not want to walk, you can easily take a Tuktuk/Taxi/Motorbike Taxi at Sutthisan Rd. The room is also pretty convenient and you get free wifi! Receptionists were not very pleasant. Overall considering the price, the hotel is actually pretty good and beyond my expectation.
• Mai Yer (2/5): Bad location, old building and unfriendly service - The reception staff were not friendly nor welcoming. They couldn't find my reservation confirmation and were not accommodating. They asked for a deposit higher than indicated on the website and were rude about it. The staff were not helpful and never smiled once during my stay. The elevator and building is old and in bad shape. The reception area and hallways are dark. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from a BTS stop, however you have to cut through a hospital parking lot and alleyways that are not well-lit at night. There were children screaming at 6-7 AM every morning. The overall vibe of the hotel is not welcoming. I paid too much to stay at this cheap hotel. The online description oversells the hotel. It promises a city view, extensive list of furniture and private bathroom. There was no city view, the minifridge was old and had no handle, and the bathroom was super small. I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend it, especially when there are cheaper options with more convenient location and better amenities in Bangkok.
• Larry (2/5): Do not stay or book this hotel - This hotel was disgusting. Filthy dirty, dingy, should not be on your website. REVOLTING..... Sheets were grey/green in colour, and old and thin. We walked out, did not stay there. Could not stay there. AND no refund. I think the staff are accustomed to complaints, did not care. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, WHATEVER YOU DO. Website is not accurate. You will need a full body suit to sleep in the bed. BEWARE

• Emmerson (2/5): Bad wifi, hard mattress, methane sewer gas! - Weak Wifi with an archaic log-in system that does not save your ID or password. Not strong enough for Skype. The absolute hardest mattress I have slept on in 54 countries. Also, too short for a tall person. The sheets and blankets were random sizes, so half were around your neck by morning. Some of these ragged linens were marked with the hotel name and dated 1957! On the second day there was a terrible amount of deadly methane gas in the room (sewer). I suspect there is no P-trap in the drain, as Thailand has few safety standards. The surrounding neighborhood was great, but you can find much nicer hotels near Mo Chit station or Chatuchak Market. Both are good areas if you only have a few days in BKK - right at the MRT, and only 150-200BT (US$4-4.50) from the airport. Porter lady was great. Front desk staff was surly. Very little English, leading to misadventures walking around.

The neighborhood is dominated by strip clubs. I must say the staff are very friendly and the breakfast (not included)was good. But you get what you pay for. We switched to The Mystic Hotel, great location, free breakfast, endless hot water and free food.

Had to ask the maid to make the beds for our beds to be made. When asking for clean towels and extra toilet paper they'd make us pay extra or question whether or not we really need extra toilet paper....
• Johan (6/5): You get what you pay for, most of the time... - The hotel is a bit old but they seem to renovate now since we had jackhammers in the floor over us all day long. I did not get the room I paid for but a smaller room with extrabed even thou I paid for the room with double bed and singlebed. The food in restaurant was good and room service was really good, they did try to make all as comfortable as possible for us even they missed in the booking and all the construction going on.
• Vishal (6/5): Nice Hotel Close to BTS - This is the third time i have stayed at Nice Hotel. As usual the staff was very cold and rude towards the Guests. The only good thing about this Hotel is , its near to BTS and having nice , cheap clean rooms. Everything else is below average.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Close to weekend market - The night shift middle age man is absolutely rude and his english incomprehensible. His manners are very uncivilised. The young man who also does the night shift and handle the bags is even worse, rude and angry. Good luck to you if you get here at night. The best out of all is the cleaner who was on duty the night i arrived and came to to my rescue, as it was her who took care of me and was very friendly and professional. The young man behind the desk who gave me my key deposit on my departure is also good. The taxi that i book for a 5,30 airport departure was very expensive and had a flat battery!! So that was useless too...the second taxi that came to last minute rescue was good. In conclusion i would never stay at this hotel again. I just hope the cleaner gets a promotion as she is Definitely the best value here.
• Thawatchai (4/5): Yikes!!! - If you're looking to stay maybe one night and cannot find any place else, this place would be a last resort. The room was barely clean. I had to borrow a broom to sweep the dirt off the floor. The showerhead hook was broken. The toilet flushing handle was jerry-rigged with packing string that flopped around like a broken clock hand. It was fairly quiet for such a busy neighborhood and was conveniently located. The place is in need of a serious makeover. A mini refrigerator would be nice or even complimentary bottles of water like other hotels would help be on closer on par. At least the bedding and towels were clean. The owner should investigate what an average hotel is like and take a serious look at the condition of their business. Customers will not return if the neglect continues.
• James Leong (4/5): Poor Impression - air condition breakdown in one of our rooms but hotel service personnel insists okay., spoil our holiday.

• fel (2/5): Horrible and unfit for stay - 1. The hotel facilities were horrible even by budget standards; lights were rusty and old (looked like they were gonna fall anytime), aircon wasn't working, shower was spoilt, mini fridge was wonky, bed were hard and extremely uncomfortable. 2. Staff was extremely unfriendly. The housekeeping lady even slammed the door at us. Not to mention the fact that she'd just walk into our room without knocking. 3. Massage parlor in hotel was overpriced by bangkoks standards and staff were rude too (surprise surprise) 4. Avoid the restaurant's food too. Meagre amounts and unsatisfactory tasting, also overpriced 5. The only redeeming quality was the proximity to chatuchak weekend market but even then you had to take a cab over so Id strongly suggest for fellow travelers to pick another budget hotel, anything but this. Please.
• Mazzie (6/5): It has a balcony - Wasnt bad, was clean. Had a few essentials. Was pleased with the private balcony. Some of the staff wernt approachable. The breakfast was humble and the kitcken staff were lovely.
• Kevin (4/5): Not that nice hotel - It was really bad experience, stated woth it's venue, and after I reached there, the lift, the temperature, Conjucted, toilets in room, etc were not as good as I expected.
• Samiee2504 (2/5): AWFUL HOTEL!!! - We booked this hotel due having breakfast included. We ate breakfast in the morning then on check out the hotel demanded we pay almost twenty pound extra for the breakfast! Which was only 2 eggs and a piece of toast I may add! The staff were incredibly rude and threatened to call the police if we did not pay up. Never have I stayed in a hotel with such horrible staff! Foyer is full of taxi drivers who pounce on you trying to rip you off as soon as you walk near them. STAY AWAY!!
• Verified traveler (6/5): The location is good and many shops surrounding - The staff is helpful and the security is satisfaction. will be stay again in this hotel when back to Bangkok.
• BHANU (6/5): MODERATE STAY - I stayed at Nice Palace for just 1 day, i liked the location since it is in a walking distance from main partying destination RCA and RCA-2. Restaurant close by 09:30 PM thats a cons for it. But overall stay was comfortable and i am satisfied with the cost what i have paid for it.
• Oscar (6/5): You get what you pay - This hotel is just basic, if you spend a few more bucks you will get way much more quality. Its not bad to just spend there one night but I would prefer looking for something else.
• W (6/5): Overall OK - Inside my room have no wifi coverage n I have to get out from my room for the wifi service. when ask the staff, no explanation is given and only replied: "I'm sorry!!"... huhuuhuu.....
