- Christopher (2/5): - First I would start with saying we came for a two night stay with two rooms 4 adults 2 child. 2 adults in one room and 2 adults 2 children in another. We were assigned room 314. And the other guest that were with us got offered a room on the 1st floor or one near us. The room on the first floor had construction going on. Then the one near us didn’t have a working tv we asked if there were any other rooms the front desk receptionist told us nothing was available… so our guest decided to stay in the room near construction so they could have a tv. Water pressure in that room was horrible! If that was all you offered we should have gotten a discount for inconvenience. Room 314 we got into and seen it was not cleaned at all from the previous nights stay the lights on the bed wall were also not working. So my husband went to the front desk to tell them about the condition of the room the lady switched us to a room on the fourth floor 410. Better room but this is after she just told our guest there was nothing else to give our guest. Absolutely horrible

- Liz (6/5): - I wasnt going to write anout this but expedia keeps hounding me for feedback with a review REQUIRED beyond the other ratings. The hotel didnt have my reservation from expedia. The hotel's managmeent system changed the password on their systems and the wonderful ,(not sarcastic) employee couldnt check other places fornour reservation. This was 11:45 at night after driving several hours to get.to the area. This wouldnt be an issue if expedia had a phone # to call. Oh..wait they did but whenever my fiancé called he kept getting hung up on and was getting nowhere. I had to chat with someone who ultimately ended up calling the hotel to get things straightened out. We originally reserved a room with a fridge and microwave. Got up to our room to discover...there were none. The room was bare bones. The short curtains do very little to block the light coming from the prision like lighting of the parking lot. For being next to the elevator area, it was quiet which was a pleasant surprise. Again, the employee was great and did everything in her power to help us. This is my only my 2nd time booking with expedia and probably my last. The hotel has an overhwelming chemical smell from the moment youb

The bathroom wasn't cleaned. Uber drivers told us to try and be careful there because of the type of people that stay there. The rooms were bare, you had the beds and the tv area, a mini fridge and that's it. No amenities.

It plugged into the outlet on the end table. 2 stars on Staff & Service only because one of the party's reservations got cancelled 24 hrs before check in. Reservations were made three weeks prior. Check-in went smoothly. The refrigerator was cold!!!
- Adrian (6/5): 1st impressions - I was in town to give a concert. My initial thought to the room was good. But when i was looking over everything it was not good. There were broken fixtures, clumps of dust in the vents, roaches and hallways that smell like urine. And the lady at the front desk told me this was a “new” floor. I couldn’t tell I wouldn’t mind coming back but there needs to be some serious work done on these rooms
- Denzie (2/5): Terrible place to stay! - Horrible place to stay. No deli, snacks, soda machines are out of most soda. Asked for extra pillow, was told they have none. Pool was closed. Pot smell everytime we walked down the hall way. Bathroom door stuck if you closed it all the way. Needed someone on the outside to help you out. Beds we not comfortable. Bathroom hair dryer looked like it hadn't been washed in 20 years. Bathroom vent was disgusting with paint slapped on it. I wish i didnt have to stay there i didnt feel safe at all. The door sign said to make sure you lock the deadbolt while in the room alsi make sure you lock your vehicle when you leave it. V

- Fred (2/5): - I made the reservation on Sept 8. The motel called at5:46pm Sept 26 th and said “we are overbooked so my boss cancelled your reservation”. Not impressed. There were 3 other rooms in my party. We drove to Danvers with family for a family trip and went to the motel with them, they all checked in and we drove back home. So much for a family trip.
- Paige (2/5): - Most of the staff was nice but the whole hotel smelled like weed and wet dog. There were truck people living in the parking lot, bugs in the shower, the sink didn’t drain and the air conditioner leaked and we were never brought new towels.
- Joyce (2/5): - The room we were in was crazy. I had to shoulder hit the door to the room to get it to open as it wouldn’t open with just the key. There were no trash barrels in the room at all. There was no furniture in the room, only the beds and the thing where the tv was. No chairs no table. The bathtub had stains in it and when we were going to use the shower there were bugs in the shower curtain.

The front desk and hallways were filthy but were cleaner than the room. Floors between the beds were sticky, dirty, with hair stuck on them. We were so disturbed that we wanted to leave but it was 10:30 at night when we checked in. We barely slept because we were scared of the area which had homeless people living in a truck in the parking lot, the locks on the doors were flimsy, walls were like paper, curtains filthy. I didn't trust my luggage even on the counter. This hotel needs to be closed. I've never been in a worse place!

He was so apologetic and made sure once he got us in a room where everything worked that we were all set. Rooms could have geen ckeaner and appliances shoukd work and be in the room but i dont feel it was his problem and he really wrnt out of his way.

- Angelica (2/5): Awful - Rooms are awful! The building is awful! We were moved from our original room to another because the tv was broken. The next morning i woke up with welts and itching. There were ved bugs on the bed and pillows. Roaches in the elevator area and roaches in the room. No one is ever at the front desk. That night i called dow 3 times and went down..nothing! The location isnt great either. The motel is hidden. Save yourself the headache and misery and dont even look at the website.

- Robert (2/5): - I have never in my life left a review before, but after my experience with my wife here last night, I had to. To start, it was not clean, I felt very unsafe, and people were just randomly hanging around the premise. Around 11:30PM, My wife and I were awakened by a woman banging on our hotel door trying to open it. She was screaming that they needed to see our faces because we were “not supposed to be in that room”. She told us she would call the police if we did not open the door. This room was rightfully ours since we reserved it online, so I yelled back that if they did not leave, I would do the same. The front desk clerk came and yelled the same thing as the lady beforehand. I opened the door slightly, and with frustration, asked the Clerk if he recognized me after seeing my face, he said yes. He was literally holding the document we both signed at check-in just hours earlier. Being frustrated that I was woken up, I yelled for both of them to leave immediately. I slammed the door, locked it, and stayed up all night to make sure nobody came again. To make matters worse, the next morning, we told the new Clerk at the front desk the chaotic event from last night. To my surprise, he answered that everything was okay and it was simply a misunderstanding. In complete shock, I answered it was not okay. Since then, no one has apologized or recognized what happened that night. Moral of the story: don’t ever stay at Motel 6. This deserves ZERO stars.
- Lilybeth (4/5): Buggy - Overall, it was what was expected plus some creepy crawly friends. Three roaches in our room. One was already dead upon arrival in the bathroom. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned up. Beds were clean but the room was BARE. Only a mini fridge, microwave on top and one dining chair seat. There was nowhere to hang any towels in the bathroom let alone our bags. Bugs were crawling on the walls so we were afraid to put our bags on the floor but had very little options. Only stayed one night and wouldn’t stay longer. When u told the attendant in the morning she looked like she already knew.

- Wyatt (6/5): - I did not like the smell of the hallways as well as my initial room. I went downstairs the gentleman at the front desk and thanks to him he got me another room that was much more fresh smelling and cleaner than the other. Honestly the front desk employees art the main reason why I gave the motel any stars they were great. The rooms and interior can use improvement. Thanks.

- Jose (4/5): False advertisement - Online it shows a pool that is open it'll show you the rooms and when we got there pool was closed the hotel smelled funny like animals dogs everywhere the rooms look nothing like the picture there was water all over my floor when we got there ask for a blanket an extra one and refused to give us one had to go and purchase our own blanket and pillow

Was looking forward to using the Pool, but it was closed. Had issues getting the TV to work. When we arrived there was a used bar of soap sitting out.

- Teressa (4/5): - Review of Motel 6 – Danvers, MA This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We booked this Motel 6 thinking it would be a simple, no-frills place to sleep after a late arrival and early departure. I figured, how bad could it be for one night? Unfortunately, it was much worse than expected. When we pulled up, there were three police cars parked out front, which immediately made me uneasy. I walked into a lobby filled with the strong smell of weed, and while checking in, someone pulled the fire alarm—total chaos. We didn’t even get a chance to go to our room before heading back out for the evening. When we returned later that night, the room was somewhat clean, but that’s where the positives ended. There was peeling paint, graffiti in the bathroom, and the hallways smelled heavily of weed. I felt incredibly unsafe, especially being there with my daughter. The most concerning part? The next morning, we noticed water coming up through the seams of the floor—not just damp, but actual water pooling. I’m highly allergic to mold, and both my daughter and I woke up feeling sick. It’s been over a week, and we’re still dealing with lingering symptoms. The only good part of the stay was the front desk employee, who was genuinely kind and helpful. But unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for how sketchy, unhealthy, and unsettling the rest of the experience was. I would absolutely not recommend staying here. - Katrina (4/5): Motel -6 - Very dirty, cockroaches in the bedrooms. Not dead, but alive. The night staff was friendly, but stressed out. Everything was dirty, dull and dingy.
- Tommy (2/5): - I really can't compare to my past stays at this same location as THE MOTEL 6 HOTEL management caused my Expedia reservation at the Danver property to be cancelled for unknown reasons. The only reason we can suspect that our 2 room ONE NIGHT (Friday) reservation was cancelled was so the motel 6 could use our rooms for people wanting at least a 2 or 3 night weekend stay. The motel assistant manager said it was because the location was sold out. Fortunately, since the reservations were made by Expedia they made good on our reservations and found us a better hotel. EXPEDIA even paid the difference from our rate at YOUR location to the substantially increased rate at the better hotel. Expedia made sure we knew they cared about our business. No more Motel 6 for us and we will share our experience on social media.

- JOHN (2/5): Not good - When we got there had a message from the day before that the rooms we had reserved from October of last year was not available got to room had a mattress in a bag on the wall ac didn't work seen bugs in the room only stayed one night left the next morning would never stay there again also had camper on blocks in the parking lock and had several people going in and out of the woods
- Ann (4/5): - I walked around in my bare feet for five minutes on the fake hardwood floor and when I wipe the bottom of my feet with a wet washcloth, it came back black filthy, dirty disgusting. Check in clerk was miserable.

- Carol (4/5): Pool was closed!!!! - The pool was CLOSED for maintenance on July 4th weekend????? That’s crap!!! It was quiet but it’s very old! Seems a lot of homeless there too.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Gross - I was told I was given an "upgraded room." The "upgraded room" smelled strongly of marijuana (I was told it was a non-smoking room). The vents on the air conditioner were smashed. There was trash all over the balcony. There was a sticky substance all over the floor. Gross.

- samantha (4/5): Avoid, cheap for a reason - Hotel was grotty. Cigarette burns on the bath, Reception man was very rude, talking in another language to someone else whilst checking me in. Hotel stank of cigarette smoke, pool was out of order. Only one pillow each, asked for more but was told they were ‘locked away’. Avoid this hotel. Pay a little extra and get somewhere cleaner and better
