• Hatch (8/5): Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel had a magical atmosphere, with friendly staff. - We really enjoyed our stay! The room was lovely and spacious - somewhat too big for just the two of us. We spent most of our time in the loft area of our apartment. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean, although somewhat dated. The breakfast was lovely, as was the complimentary snack station. I think it’s worth noting that the overall feel and atmosphere of the hotel was just magic. The staff were so very friendly and genuinely happy to be of service. The “wine down” wine each evening was also greatly appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed. We were staying on Level One, and it was quite noisy at times. We could hear a lot of partying on the street, as well as police sirens throughout the evening. Thankfully, after midnight it settled down and was no longer an issue. I think if we had been staying on a higher level, we likely would have experienced much less noise. The spa bath was also quite dirty, so we avoided turning on the jets.

Mezzanine was a lovely, relaxing and quiet space to relax and enjoy a pre dinner glass of wine. Not crowded, staff were all very accommodating and happy to oblige. The complimentary snack bar was also a ‘make yourself at home touch’ . Nothin. Hit the spot for me.

• RosebudsAunty (10/5): Perfect place for an overnight city stay - We’ve been wandering into the city for an overnight stay at Treasury on Collins since 2018, sometimes as a couple, sometimes with as a multi-gen family but this is our first time since Covid. Time flies! Josh went out of his way to make check in smooth and hassle free given that I’d lost my wallet! (Found later, cleverly hidden, deep in my backpack). Complimentary drinks and nibbles were welcome, and breakfast appreciated. Loved the colour scheme in the room. Extended family, after looking at last night’s photos and reminiscing, are demanding another visit.

• Wyn (9/5): Perfect Melbourne CBD hotel - Amazing location - central, close to shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and tram stops but whisper quiet. Beautiful historic building. Room was spacious and incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short stay - including washer dry, drying rack, cooking utensils, bath salts etc. The mezzanine lounge was great for relaxing and spreading out with a book and board game (if the lounge in the room wasn’t enough!) with plentiful snacks and drinks. We took advantage of the Wine Down on several nights to sample some wine before we went out for dinner. We also used the gym which was small but functional with several cardio machines, a cable machine and a rack of dumbbells (Dohertys City Gym 4mins walk away does day passes for $20 if you prefer more weights). Lastly breakfast was neatly laid out and a good selection of both hot and cold options (special call out on the mango and yogurt and tatter tots!) We won’t be staying anywhere else on our future trips to Melbourne. For some weird reason our bed (two twins with solid bases pushed together with a very plush mattress topper) was “wobbly” - could feel when the other person was moving/turning in the bed. Would go for the two twin bed setup the next time.

The property was excellent. A wall mounted TV instead of a free-standing TV would have allowed for the TV cabinet to go and make the room more spacious.

We got a balcony room because we wanted some natural light, which is not possible in many other central city hotels. We got that plus a large comfortable bedroom, large lounge/kitchen/dining area with sofas to put our feet up at the end of the day, a fantastic location close to everything Melbourne has to offer and outstanding service from the very helpful and attentive staff. The room was even very quiet due to the set-back of the windows to allow for the balcony. All at a reasonable price for the standard of comfort and facilities

• cristinamua22 (10/5): Best place to stay in Melbourne BY FAR! - We were welcomed by the incredible Joe upon checking in. The rooms are fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and on Easter Saturday night there were a bunch of chocolate eggs thoughtfully at our door. There’s a snack bar on the Mezzanine that you have access to to grab a coffee and a drink and some cheeky snacks. Very handy when travelling with kids. The heritage feel with well equipped rooms with kitchen/laundry facilities and the most comfortable beds. We also had access to complimentary wine/beer between 4pm and 6 pm and the kids would play pool. Everything was just amazing. We will never stay anywhere else. Joe was so amazing to us. Always going the extra mile. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

• Lyndall (10/5): A unique and welcoming experience. - I've never stayed somewhere where I felt so valued! Everything from the generous snack bar and wine down (which unfortunately we missed because we were going to a twilight footy game), to the Easter bunny visit, the complimentary water, Nespresso, and toiletries - we were made to feel so welcome. Breakfast was perfect! Delicious hot cross buns, and those mushrooms! Just wow. Oh - the room size was also so amazing. Already planning a return visit. The restaurant and bar downstairs was closed. They have the most amazing range of tap beers! Will time our visit around this next time.

This meant it was super quiet, and not an issue as we were out and about during the day, but if natural light matters to you you might want to request a street-facing room.

• V1603FBjanen (10/5): Spacious room, great stay - Can’t speak highly enough of Treasury. The room and bed (and pillow menu no less) were superb. A mini kitchen facility in the room was terrific - coffee maker, jug, toaster, microwave. Love the decor too, not the usual bland furnishings you see in every other hotel. The snacks available all day, including hot and cold drinks, were much appreciated. Highly recommend Treasury and will definitely book again when next in Melbourne.

We had no outlook from our room, we looked out onto a small alley way which was a bit disappointing.
