Also, the room was nice, neat, and clean, although the size was a bit small for my 8 year old daughter and I, we were grateful at least we had somewhere to sleep. The thing that killed it for us was when it came to trying to book another night they told me no because I was a few mins late to providing my payment. I was 3 mins past check out time yet I was at the office at 10:58am and the lady worker was on the phone and manager in the back. So when she was off the phone at 11:03am I went up to her and she made a big deal about the fact that I was late and I explained to her what was going on and she still denied us another night stay. Wow. The thing that killed it for us was when it came to trying to book another night they told me no because I was a few mins late to providing my payment. I was 3 mins past check out time yet I was at the office at 10:58am and the lady worker was on the phone and manager in the back. Alex (8/5): All in all, great value and served it's purpose. - It was as expected for paying a value price. I did not have high expectations but the hotel served its purpose. When I got to my original room it was very hot inside and the AC unit did not seem to be working well. I understand things can break, not any of the staff's fault. I went to the lobby to see if there was something they could do. Without me asking, they got me a new room right away with working AC which was very nice. The lobby staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room and fixtures are pretty dated and I do feel that the room could have been a little cleaner. I found some crumbs on the table and seats. I just brushed them away, no biggie. The floors did not feel too clean either. The linens and towels were clean though. The door to the room had a pretty large gap around it that would let in the outside noise/air and causes a lot of light to come through early in the morning.

I felt grossed out, but we - Pretty easy to get up to your hotel room and the decor needs to be updated. There’s a lot of cigarette burns even though it says a non-smoking facility. The beds were not terrible, but the pillows were horrible. pillows are too thick and rock hard they need to provide more comfortable pillows and the bed seem like they need to be changed out and my sheets looked dirty. Also, the bathroom was filthy and it had not the whole place had not been properly swept and there is paint drippings everywhere and the paint was chipping off of the shower and there were hairs and pubic hairs in the shower which was disgusting so I had to pre-clean my room and I would like a refund on both of the rooms and the other room that my friend rented had the same problem. Hair is in the shower just filthy. This is disgusting to have to stay in a place that has hairs in the shower and the shower is too small for a big person to get in there. You need to provide a normal size shower and then the dirty shower curtain sticks to you when you’re trying to shower it’s so gross so you guys need to remodel again and update this placeand the shower curtain was worn out and dirty and snagged. It was nasty. No one should have to stay in a filthy hotel room and it wasn’t that cheap over $200 for two rooms for a filthy mess.

We really wished someone would come and tidy up our room and make the meds. We came back to our room very tired and it was always messy looking because we the beds didn't look nice.

Slight oddball population & homeless around - Location was ideal, everything amenity wise was clean, very strong smell of bleach.. i suppose that is a good thing. Good lighting outside so not as sketchy Bed sunk in in the middle, barely any towels, blankets or pillows. We wished there was some back up within the room but when we went to call for the front desk, the phone did not work.
Jonathan (1/5): WORST EXPERIENCE FOR A MOTE L 6 stay - What I liked about the room upstairs were the beds only, everything else sucks. Staff was very rude during check inn, people next door purposefully stomping on top of my bed like I was bothering them and then I asked for a new room but had to pay for an upgrade and had the same issue, random noises coming from the staff room.

Cooper (1/5): My stay was horrible. Was supposed to stay for 2 nights but left after 1. Will never stay at this facility again - Location. That was all. Dog pieces were all over the property. A lot of homeless were hanging out all around the property. Police drove through a couple times. My room smelled musty upon entry. During the night when I turned on the lights I saw cockroaches.
Danielle (2/5): If you can’t afford anything else bring your own blankets/towels and sandals for the shower - The location is great, but not worth the drawbacks. I would not recommend this motel. For the first time in my life I had to request a room change. It was absolutely filthy. Walked into a room that smelled so strongly of bleach it’s safe to assume it was a recent crime scene or brothel. As I started to unpack I went to turn on the bath fan and saw the state of the bathroom and the floors. Long, dark women’s hair everywhere and horrible floors with holes in the laminate that were full of dirt and dust. It was horrible.

Catherine (5/5): My grandson and his family were okay with the accommodations - The City of Ventura cut off the water supply to a large area by the beach, indefinitely, and they were able to relocate my grandson and his family to another Motel 6 in town. The motel could have been cleaner, according to my grandson. Also, there is a skeezy group of people hanging around the parking lot at night.

Hope to get another spot next year when I travel with my husband to the channel islands Its a bit sketchy past nightfall, but that's just California for you. If you're kind, others are kind back. There's always white noise from the highway nearby, but it calms down at night.

Kayla (5/5): A Utilitarian Option - The prices and availability make it good for cheap drop-in visits to the area and the location keeps you close to much of the more "popping" parts of town. In my experience, the rooms have always been clean upon arrival with fresh linens ready. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and don't keep much of consequence easily visible in your car, it's serviceable. Please note that I do generally prefer cheaper accomedations and don't really utilize amenities, so your milage may vary. There is definitely a fair amount of scattered belongings from the more long-term residents of the motel, though staff does a pretty decent job keeping on top of trash and refuse. Most of the long-term residents are okay people, if a bit disheved and out-of-sorts, but it can leave the place feeling a bit "sketchy". If you're uncomfortable seeing or being around people visibly suffering from poverty or homelessness, you may want to consider elsewhere.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Bath Towels - I wish Motel 6 would provide bigger and thicker bath towels.

Room was clean and the temperature/AC was great and easy to control. The staff were accommodating in providing us extra towels and pillows. The bed was very small and the mattress and sheets were not the best. Extremely thin and couldn't provide a very good or restful nights sleep.
