Important Information
- The seasonal pool will be open from April to October.
- Hot springs access available from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Reservations are required for massage services and spa treatments. Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation.
- The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.
- Guests with tattoos are not able to use the onsite public bathing facilities.

- Steven (10/5): - This was probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The place was spotless, the view was amazing and the staff were very helpful. I missed when we had to go and would love to go back some day. Only slight negatives are expensive lunch/dinner options, but there are many other options within walking distance. If you have the means definitely go here.
- Jihye (10/5): - 너므 숙소가 좋아서 만족만족입니다, 2박을 안한걸 너무너무 후회했어요 ㅠㅜ 걸어서 5분거리 비세후쿠길 산책도 좋았고(모기밥이 된건 비밀입니다 ㅋ) 호텔 바로 앞의 비치도 좋았어요 조식포함이라 밥도 맛나게 많이 잘먹었어요 함께간 인원이 많아서 창가자리는 못갔는데 창가자리에 앉아서 음식과 조금 가깝게 먹음 와따가따할때 덜 불편할꺼 같아요 ㅎ 수영장이랑 비치를 이용하지 못한것도 후회됩니다ㅠㅜ 다음번에 이용시에는 여유롭게 여행할꺼에요~ 북부여행 하신다면 꼭 2박을 추천드려요 ㅋ

- MASAAKI (10/5): 北部沖縄のゆったりと過ごせるホテル - 美ら海水族館に接続しているホテルです。各部屋から正面に伊江島が見え、今回もその為に宿泊しました。 部屋はゆったりとしており、静か。朝食ブッフェは種類が多い。

Zu meinem persönlichen leidwesen waren sehr, sehr viele familien mit Kindern in dem ressort, sodass der geräuschpegel beim frühstück und am pool ziemlich extrem war. Es war ausserdem dadurch insgesamt sehr wuselig. Im hotel selber gibt es keinen ATM sondern nur im fußläufig etwa 5 min entfernt gelegenen convenience store. Viel mehr ist in fer umgebung sonst nicht. Das bbq restaurant war des grillrauchs ausgezeichnet und sehr lecker. Im japanischen restaurant waren die Portionen für die Preise zu klein

- Ashley (8/5): - My family and I spent two nights at the Orion hotel, I had higher expectations for the hotel based on the photos and the reviews but the hotel felt dated and I was also disappointed that there was as no AC on our floor and throughout other areas of the hotel. Check in and check out was easy but our room was very warm upon arrival and although the AC was working properly…it was not very strong so I was able to get a little electric fan to help keep it cooler. beds were a bit firm but slept fine. The breakfast buffet was not bad but does get very busy and hectic. we didn’t have to wait too long and the food was ok. we did enjoy the pool and close distance to the aquarium and close by spots we wanted to visit. the creative center at the bottom of the hotel was also fun in the evening and my daughter was able to paint a shark. overall not a bad hotel but would consider other options next time in okinawa.

- Corinna (10/5): - I recently stayed with my family of 4. We loved our room - beds were comfy, loved the balcony and the large bathroom. Onsen facilities were lovely. The property was so tropical and beautiful. The staff were friendly and the free breakfast was yummy! This property almost hit every nail on the head: large rooms, Orion beer bar, paid dining options, beach, onsen, swimming pool - but there was some room for improvement. We were here in late May. It was mostly rainy but warm. The outdoor pool was freezing. There was a small bubble pool that looked like a hot tub but was just as cold as the pool. So with children- it was not doable. Why not heat the pool so people could enjoy it? So we spent most of our time in the tiny indoor pool. The kids had a lot of rules enforced. I understand the culture in Japan is more calm but we’re at a resort? There were no accessible amenities for parents: for example: a quick hot dog or soba. No bar for a drink or coffee. There was a on-site store (ice cream, water, coffee, beer - but you had to leave to go get it). There was also a Lawson’s 5 mins away by walking. But again, you had to leave. As a nice resort, they fell short with service here. Why not open the pool bar to serve quick options to parents w kids that just wanted to enjoy the pool and a vacation. Why have a lunch buffet for $50 per person as the only option for food on the resort? Walk 5 mins for a $6 lunch. Again, leaving the resort. Almost brilliant, but fell a bit short.

- Verified traveler (4/5): 비추 - 리뷰 잘 안남기는데 남깁니다. 뷰는 정말 환상적입니다. 그런데 직원 서비스가 아주 별로입니다. 조식 담당하는 직원 교육 좀 하셔야 할 것 같습니다. 룸도 좀 오래된 느낌이 나네요. 오키나와를 여러번 가봤기 때문에 뷰는 제가 보기에 오키나와에서 제일 좋을 것 같아요. 뻥 뚫려 있고 바다를 볼 수 있는 시야도 넓습니다. 수족관도 가깝고 북부에서 주로 머무르신다면 위치상으로는 괜찮은 숙소이나 노후되었고, 특히 직원서비스가 별로라서 저는 다시는 방문하지 않을 것 같습니다.

- Ayako (6/5): - the hotel was located next to Expo park, close to fukugi naimiki and beach. it was very nice to walk around. The spa was nice, but it wasn’t included; paid extra. Amenity was very basic. the worst thing was they accepted school trip; high school kids were all over the hotel that we didn’t expect. If you are okay to deal with young kids, then the hotel is good. But we don’t think we will stay there again.

- Karen (6/5): - This is one of those hotels that has those giant tour buses come in. There is only one restaurant that does not do course menu, and this restaurant gets booked by the tour buses, so your only options to eat at the hotel are to pay 8000 yen for dinner unless you want to just eat pizza at the Italian restaurant. The Orion bar does not have real food. Normally this wouldn't matter except the hotel is in sort of an isolated area, so your other options for dinner/lunch are pretty limited. Luckily there is a Family mart nearby for necessities. Our room appeared to look nice, however, the floor was covered in sand, and the sofa smelled very bad. Luckily they had slippers and we just ended up sitting on our beds for our trip. The pool was clean. Please note that the infinity pool is limited only to guests staying in the club wing, but that was fine since the pool downstairs was nice enough.

- Toshiki (10/5): - •エメラルドビーチ、フクギ並木、美ら海水族館が近く、買い物をするような場所は近くに無いですが、滞在中のんびりするには良い場所です。ホテルに売店があり、徒歩2分くらいの場所にローソンがあります。 •施設は清潔で、温泉、サウナがあります。乾燥機付洗濯機も各階にあり便利です。 •できれば改善して頂きたい点としては、毎日ウェルカムドリンクを頂けるのはありがたいですが、ビール以外のアルコールもあると良いです。去年まではあったと思います。また、朝食のメニューがほとんど同じなのでバリエーションを増やして頂ければと思います。 •宿泊回数に応じたロイヤルティプログラムがあると嬉しいです。毎年宿泊させて頂いておりますが、周辺にも良いホテルやペンションがたくさんあるようですので、また次も泊まりたいと思えるようなプログラムがあると良いと思います。

- Masato (8/5): - ドアマン、フロント、客室案内、レストランスタッフも皆さん丁寧で良かったです。 また伊江島タッチューと海の景色がどの施設からも眺められてとても良かったです。 ウェルカムドリンクのサービスに時間設定があって18時にチェックインした際にはその時間は 対応出来ないとの事で20時〜22時の間なら対応出来るとの事でしたがお客さんとの会食のため ホテル戻りが23時になったため、結局使えずじまえでした。その時間帯はチェックインが多い時間帯だと思うのですが...また空港から到着して本部までの2時間、車での移動でホテル資本のオリオンビールが飲みたかった(笑) その際はオリオン缶ビールのサービスでもあったら「さすが」って感じなると思います。

- mingyong (10/5): 완변한 호캉스! - 어머님, 9살 아이랑 방문했습니다. 8/15주가 일본 연휴기간이라, 일본인 가족들이 엄청 많고, 오히려 한국인은 거의 못만났습니다. 오키나와 처음 방문인데, 매우 조용하고 깔끔한 리조트에요. 주변에 로손 말고는 없어서, 매우 잘되어 있는 수영장에서 수영하고, 산책하고, 호텔내 식당 이용한 완벽한 호캉스 였네요. 바로옆에 (도보 5분내) 추라우미 있어서 이용이 편리합니다. 방도 넓고, 싱글 2개, 더블침대 1개 있어서, 4인 사용에 불편함이 없었습니다. 나중에 이용한 차탄 지역대비 조용하고 자연을 즐길수 있는 지역이에요.
- JANG HO (10/5): - 11개월, 35개월 아이와 북부여행을 위해 3박 했습니다. 오리온 맥주 회사에서 운영하는 오키나와 북부 호텔입니다. 추라우미 수족관까지 차로 3분 안에 갈 수 있고, 날씨가 괜찮으면 걸어서도 10분 안으로 도착합니다. 발코니 포함된 방이 큼직해서 좋고, 대온천과 실내복이 구비되어 있습니다. 아침, 점심, 저녁 부페가 운영되어 아이들 밥먹이기가 편합니다. 호텔내 이자카야 예약이 치열한데 저희 가족은 (오키나와 회가 별로라서) 만족하지 못했습니다. 방 컨디션은 잘 관리되어 있었고, 특히 바닥이 마루라서 아직 기어다니는 둘째 아이가 잘 있을 수 있었습니다. 이 호텔에서는 에메랄드 비치라는 전용해변이 있는데 아이들 놀기에 너무 잘되어 있습니다. 남부쪽 백사장과 달리 모래도 곱고, 작은 물고기들이 헤엄쳐다니는 아주 맑은 수질 입니다. 모래놀이, 어린아이들 해수욕하기 정말 좋습니다. 그래서 수영장보다 해변에서 많은 시간을 보냈습니다. 야외 공연 중에 류큐 민속공연이 있는데 꽤 볼만했습니다. 구글 검색하시면 근처 맛집들도 꽤 있는데 만족스러웠습니다. 한국인, 중국인보다 일본인들이 더 많이 숙박합니다.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel Orion Motobu Resort was an oasis. The site feels brand new, with big, comfortable, clean, and eco-friendly rooms. Positives: free parking, tasty breakfast included, the Okinawan restaurant was outstanding for trying local foods, attentive staff, the property sits right on the Expo park. Negatives: no gym, no room service, the spa was closed at the time due to the COVID state of emergency which was understandable. Also, nearby Bize tree grove is fun to explore, but, I think due to it being summer, there were large spiders everywhere in the trees!

- Jeane (10/5): Dream resort! - This was our honeymoon trip to Okinawa and we stayed in a total of 3 hotels. Hotel Orion was the most expensive and luxurious hotel of them all and I think it was well worth the cost and time to drive up the island to visit. The staff were courteous and wonderful from start to end. The resort is very clean and spacious. They have everything you would need in the room and the view overseeing the Emerald Beach is just breathtaking. They even have Orion beer vending machines. The breakfast buffet was AWESOME. They had a large selection of everything from Japanese cuisine to pancakes and fruit. We also went there for dinner one day and it was well worth the cost. I think they are especially awesome at cooking noodles / pasta. The hotel is connected to the Ocean Expo Park area, which includes the Churaumi Aquarium, Native Okinawan Village, Tropical Dream Center and other awesome places to visit within walking distance (it is a bit of a walk but they also have shuttles). The hotel garden was beautiful and the Emerald Beach was wonderful (though make sure to have good footwear when going to the beach -- the sand is quite coarse and there are a lot of sharp shell pieces). The only complaint I would have is that the beach area will play music with very inappropriate language, so be careful if you have children with you (though I don't think this is the hotel's fault). Anyways, the days we stayed at Hotel Orion was definitely like a dream!
