• ally (1/5): Pay more somewhere else - LOVED the location of the Motel close to dining The property was dirty with cigarette butts everywhere as well as other trash items. The room AC was on when I got in the room set super low & cold which was nice during the day but at night it got rather cold but all the buttons were damaged & the temperature couldn’t be changed. I got a 2 queen suite with one bed FILTHY sheets & the bed was pushed up right next to the AC unit. Pulled the bedding back to reveal dirt, debris & hair! The second bed thankfully appeared clean but felt uneasy if it was genuinely clean or not. There was something dried on the wall next to the bed, floors were dirty not swept or mopped properly. There was a HUGE clump of hair under the sink. The tv only got a few channels most of the channels said there was a poor weak connection. The pool was gorgeous BUT was chain locked & not able to use. The vending machines were barely cold & NO ICE available. This property is filthy & only has a dirty room & bed to sleep on.

• Ruth (4/5): It was a place to crash at night We were not satisfied - The staff were all very friendly. We stayed for four nights. Our room was never cleaned even after we asked them to clean it. We needed to ask for toilet paper & towels. Towels were brought 45 minutes later, but we had to go get the toilet paper from the office. We asked for trash pick up, We even left it outside. It was picked up on the 3rd afternoon. The air conditioner was broken and we couldn’t adjust it. We were grateful we could open the window. And to top it off the pool was locked for Covid. Really?? There isn’t an outbreak.. is there one in Camarillo?

The pool was closed, room smelled like cigarettes and stuck to our luggage bed sizes were full my wife and i struggled to sleep on the full size offered to us, when asked if they had bigger beds I was told they had none on the property by a gentleman on the phone. The tv did not work so well.

The staff arguing... No ICE and no pool access. No customer service. The manager was absolutely rude and berating the staff in front of me trying to check in. Worst Motel 6 ive ever stayed in and MO6 is a last resort already. Go the extra miles and stay in thousand oaks instead.

We were not about to stay on site then when we got to the room the mirror was filthy over the table also leaning. We called the front desk IMMEDIATELY ASKING FOR Our REFUND. My husband was in their lobby an hour and 15 minutes waiting for our refund. Meanwhile I sat in the car with our pets watching an unclean looking Woman sucking hard on a joint staring at me while spitting in the ground going in and out of her room which was behind our car. We couldn't wait to get out of there. NEVER to return. Seemed like a motel for people released from jail. Just being honest!!

• Heather (6/5): - For the price point the space was surprisingly nice. It looks like it may have been recently renovated. The bed was a bit too soft for our taste but overall it was a nice place to stay for a quick overnight pitstop.

• Diana (8/5): Camarillo Motel 6 - I was leaving the room to check out, I went to put the remote control back in the nook, by the TV, and out popped a roach. Other than that, the stay was ok. Nice guy at the front, who has helped me before, was being micromanaged by (I'm presuming the owner? An older Indian man.) As an office manager, it looks unprofessional on the business owners side.

Also when we took showers, a good half of the water was diverted out of the bathtub spicket. Also the toilet had a mold stain. The county shut down the swimming pool so we were not able to use the pool. On the plus side, the hotel is cheap, centrally located in Camarillo, within walking distance to stores and restaurants.

Also there was no refrigerator, I know Motel 6 don’t always have refrigerators but like I said it was hot and I had some cold drinks I wanted to keep chilled. Not the best or worst Motel 6 I’ve stayed at. At least the AC worked

• Honey (1/5): This was the worst day I’ve had with the Motel 6 - The only thing I liked about the property that it was right off the freeway My reservation was for one queen bed in a non-smoking room I received two beds in a smoking room, and then when I found a hole in the curtain where people from outside could pee in at us, I requested for us to be moved to another room and he said That he only had two bed smoking rooms available, and that was it, but they were not at capacity, so I’m sure he could have honored our reservation type. The rooms were badly maintained floors looked awful curtains were dirty, or torn with holes in them. Property is not being taken care of nor is it being cleaned to Motel 6 standards.

Zeggen ze bij de receptie dat het eigenlijk 1x tweepersoons kamer is daarom maar 1x extra handdoek meegegeven in plaats van twee. Zeer chagrijnige vrouw.de kamer is klein.geen zeep of ontbijt.

• Linda (6/5): Hotel has seen better days... - I booked specifically to have a pool, and the pool was closed due to contamination. The photos on the hotel site showed a refrigerator in the room which I counted on, and there was no fridge. The interior and exterior are shabby. Room was clean and staff were helpful, but I suggest to check amenities before booking.

I know it's a Motel 6 so expectations are not high however this is in a nice area so it should be decent. As we drove around the property there were people too many people just hanging out in the middle of the day on either the walkways on in the rooms with the door open. Staff was friendly but contributed to the overall poor feel of the place. I guess driving around the property the word scuzzy comes to mind. Did not feel comfortable letting my daughter and two grand children stay there.
