• D346WBlisaj (10/5): Much improved - Third stay here and found the place much better than previously. I attribute the improvements to the latest manager, Jeff. I don't know whether he did the work himself or allocated to help but I thank him/them! I will be happy to stay again :)
• Michael (4/5): - Jeff the manager was kind and checking went fine. The entire place smells of very strong marijuana. The fire alarm is disconnected. The battery fire alarm is ripped off the wall and in a broken dresser drawer. The fire annunciator is stuffed with toilet paper.
• Pamela (4/5): - The front desk/ manager was great. Very friendly. But the room hasn't seen a vacuumed cleaner in months. Drawers were broken and off the tracks. Slider door jam filled with flies, spiders and cob webs. Price was too cheap, maybe raise your price and hire a maid.

Tile floor had hair balls blowing across, bath/shower dirty and disgusting, i only sat my things down on hard surfaces. Hotel property is run down and poor condition looks like it should have been torn down years ago.

Beds were made fresh towels etc.. but the floors were unclean even on the bathroom tile like it hadn’t been swept or mopped, and the toilet seat had stuff on it.

I feel like there should be some compensation. It was disgusting. We weren’t expecting The Ritz but we were expecting clean!

• C Kristy (6/5): Good enough - We arrived late and were at the hotel one night only. We chose it because it is dog friendly and on our way from NorCal to Yellowstone. Poor front desk guy is a maintenance person and was filling in for the manager who had just quit. He was doing his absolute best and I felt for him, having to juggle ALL the work of running a hotel. Place was clean and comfortable enough but was sooo run down. I would stay again and would recommend to other one-night stay travelers but only if you have a dog and there is no other hotel around to accommodate you.

• Joan (2/5): Where's the hotel? - Followed the Econo Lodge signs up the hill from the highway to a totally empty parking lot for a locked up building that said "Casino". I tried calling the number I had for the facility and got no answer (after 10 rings). Drove next door to Barton's Club 93 and got an acceptable room for $46..00. They did not have the advertised free breakfast buffet, though. Very disappointed.
• Amber (2/5): - I was highly disappointed in how they represented how the rooms looked and what I walked into. There was no bar/casino (which they say they had) the breakfast was horrible (the apple juice had floating things coming out of the dispenser) no fruit, bread set out to toast but no butter, the waffle maker didn’t even cook the batter to have a plain waffle. The rooms are rundown and didn’t smell very good. The king suite that I booked (for my wedding anniversary) intending to have a deck (says and shows in the photos) didn’t have one. The door didn’t shut behind you, you had to push it shut. The microwave didn’t have the plate to even use it. The mini fridge didn’t have any shelving to even put your drinks in there. The bathroom was icky, tried to take a HOT shower, had lukewarm water with the shower head barely had any water pressure (I could have taken a better shower at a truck stop). The bed was so uncomfortable to sleep in (felt the springs in my back all night) the couch that was in the suite reeked of pee and had stains all over it). There was debris all over the outside, the patio area had junk all over it, Old kitchenware and gas jugs etc) you walking in had junk all over in the entrance. I don’t recommend this place unless you want to stay in a run down shack.
• WARREN (4/5): - I had a choice between a room with keys and no tv or a room with tv and no key.
• Verified traveler (4/5): They are on their own time. - Even though this motel is in nevada, they go by mountain time and not pacific, like the rest of the whole state. Went down for breakfast, if that's what you want to call it, and it was closed even though it was only a few minutes after 8, by my phone. But it was after 9, when they closed. I am diabetic and needed food badly, none to be had. No food places in the so call town. Had to drive one hour to find food, had a bad diabetic attack.

• John (6/5): Just a place to stay - Normally i stay at bartons ,but wanted to try a different hotel that was pet friendly. The mini fridge and microwave was nice. Breakfast was meh. Upon entering the room, i noticed the room window was wide open, and the door would not latch u less you slammed it hard. And it would open if you did not slam it. Beds were ok, more like a camping mat with stains. Shower was made for short people There was pet urine stains on linoleum Throughout the room. Something was in the room i got bitten a few times Could never find anything Cept dead spider corpses.
• Sandra (4/5): Please throwout the recliner GROSS! - The sheets were clean, and bathroom was clean. Carpets are stained in room, looks like body-fluids on floor/recliner, rm 214. REMOVE the recliner its disgusting and serves no purpose, clean the carpets!! Carpet dirty throughout halls, needs to be atleast vacuumed and cleaned, really needs updated when financially doable. The "breakfast consist of oatmeal, waffle, juice and coffee. The tv in rm 214 needs to be replaced, red fuzzy lines along top and bottom. Bed was comfortable and clean-only reason we stayed. Young man working desk was polite and friendly, possibly overworked, he was there our entire stay. Housekeepers need to do a better job. But its probably hard to find decent help being so remote. Owners need to put some money into the property. Price was fair for a clean bed.
• 912jerrie (2/5): disgusting dirty place - we arrived late and because of this, we had no option, but to stay here. The place was filthy dirty. The room was disgusting. There was dog pee all over the carpet, the recliner had big spots all over it, and it smelled very bad. I do not recommend staying here. Choice hotels needs to manage their hotels a little bit better having somebody look at them and check them out. This was absolutely disgusting.

• Scott (4/5): I love the 80's! - The one and only hotel employee is the rudest person I have ever delt with. Demanding cash for my 2 dogs. When I told him i tried to book the dogs online when i made the reservation. And just add the 40$ to the card on file. He again just said it has to be paid now and in cash. I told him for a 3rd time I understood and I will pay it but why cant he add it to the bill. He like a recording repeated it had to be paid now and in cash. Very strange. Building is ok....want to re-live the 80s-90s...go there. Bed is horrible room was dated but clean.

Minus: There were so many broken and damaged items: bath fan didn’t run, sink bowl was cracked & floor under it was stained due to leaking water, the pop-up drain was rusty, sink drained poorly, robe hook was hanging on by one screw, furniture cracked & broken, badly stained chair upholstery, repairs were done on the cheap with roofing nails securing the baseboard, clock radio had a compromised plug which was wrapped in electrical tape & it didn’t work either, curtains were sun damaged with not only fading but actual holes so sunlight wakes you up maybe before you want to arise, and grounds unkempt. There was no sink in the breakfast room, which matters when the tables are sticky and not well cleaned, and apples with stickers on them indicate they were not washed. Breakfast was little better than continental with juice, tea and coffee, 8 slices of bread, several packs of instant oatmeal, cornflakes and 2 kid’s cereals. The coffee was so weak I suspect the same grounds were used twice. Food poisoning was not on my bingo card for the day; the prepared waffle mix was rancid. The first bite tasted a little off, and by the second I was sure it was bad. I then watched a man use the waffle maker, he sat down to eat when it was done, and after two mouthfuls he threw his out as well. There appeared to be just one employee handling everything: phone, reservations, check-in and checkout, laundry, etc. There were times people were waiting to check-out but he was off somewhere probably tending to some chore. This place is really down at the heels and I would not stay here again.

• Marlon (6/5): Served its purpose - Cheap and affordable but don't expect much after that. It had free continental breakfast, so it was not a complete loss.

• Karsen (2/5): - This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. When we pulled up, the building looked freaky old, rundown, and in desperate need of a remodel. Inside the room wasn’t any better. Half the things were broken, the couch, carpet, and even the walls were stained, and the shower curtain was supposed to be white but was stained yellow. There was hair all over the bathroom, trash left in the shower, and even pills on the floor. It felt dirty and unsafe. The beds were super outdated and uncomfortable. I would definitely not recommend staying here.

When told about the bugs, the guy said sorry about that. There was only one guy working, do not sure the deal there. Nothing meet expectations and I went in with low ones.

Both rooms had recliners, one had huge spots that should had been cleaned. Hall outside door littered with ceiling tile debris that was not cleaned. Second room shower curtain had yellow/brown mold on bottom 6-8 inches. Not good cleaning crew.

• becca51896 (2/5): Worst Hotel - This was the worst hotel/motel I have ever been unfortunate enough to walk into. Checking in I was a bit uncomfortable because of the way it looked but kept telling myself Don’t judge by the outside as long as the room is clean. Well filthy is an understatement. The bed was made with dirty sheets! There was popcorn kernels in the sheets and they were all wrinkled like they hadn’t been washed in God knows how long. There was what ai hope is hot sauce dried on the nightstand. There was more stuff splattered on the wall. The microwave was filthy. The lamp was unplugged with the cord wrapped around it and no lightbulb. Oh let us not forget NO hot water! I mean NO hot water in the room at all even after letting the sink run and run to wash our hands. When we went to the front desk to check out because there was no way we would sleep there the man kept pointing to a paper taped on the wall that said “Once you check in there will be NO refunds”. I told him how was I to know the room was going to be so gross. In hindsite I should have judged the motel by how the outside and entryway looked.
