• Jeremy (10/5): Fantastic stay at Dela - We stopped off in Hvar for a couple of nights en-route from Dubrovnik to Split and so glad we chose Dela. We had such a relaxing time there. It is a family run establishment and they really go out of their way to help and make your stay special. The Dela is located up a hill just out of town but the family are always on hand to pick you up or drop you off. We were picked up from the ferry and after dining out in the old town so nothing to worry about, it's a pleasant walk downhill into town though. Being higher the benefit is the magnificent view over the sea and the islands with spectacular sunsets. The room itself was very comfortable, with a modern bathroom and fantastic terrace balcony. The pool area is very relaxing with comfortable sunbeds. We chose breakfast and that again was excellent, with choice from a menu and a whole range of delights! Special thank you to Vincent for the great music over breakfast! There is also a pool table, ping pong and a gym, though we didn't have time. Would certainly recommend and if we're ever back in Hvar would only consider Dela!

Vincent and Magda were really unbelievable… the loveliest hosts ever - I honestly don’t think I have ever felt so at home away from home - they went above and beyond .. they took such good care of us - from lifts in/out of hvar etc, but also so helpful with all local info etc and the place was so clean, and in the most beautiful location .. could not recommend this place enough .. I will be back. Nothing to not like
• Amisha (10/5): Perfect stay - This is the perfect place to stay in Hvar. The family who run the hotel are so kind and helpful and do drop offs to and from the town and to the beach which is so helpful and makes it better than staying in town as the beach is not easy to access without a car. The pool is lovely and the surrounding is comfortable and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and clean with great AC. Cant recommend this place enough The breakfast wasn’t very good in our opinion
• Darrall Rawlinson (9/5): Great stay - Family run hotel that definitely puts the guests first, Magda and Vincent are lovely and can't do enough for you, yummy breakfast with fry ups cooked to order, get "taxi" service provided by Vincent, ferrying guests back and forth to the main part of town. • JS (10/5): - This is a family run hotel - and you truly feel like youre staying with family in the best possible way. The owners brother picked us up from the ferry and was available to take us anywhere we needed from morning to 10:30pm. The hotel is up on the hillside with a spectacular view of the water and islands. The owner was so warm and breakfast was all homemade. The rooms are spotless and quiet. We can't wait to return. That we had to leave :)
• Tim (10/5): Perfect base for Hvar - Lovely hosts, friendly and generous with lifts into town and back!! its about a 20 mins walk but is uphill on the way back. Range of parking if driving. Spacious rooms and well equipt. Very nice pool and huge lounging area. Pool and table tennis table and well stocked gym. breakfast looked impressive (we are not breakfast people). Good quiet location and easy drive to most of Hvar. (15 mins from car ferry)

I stayed at Dela for a few days and the family were just the nicest whilst I had a few issues with my back and couldn’t walk properly. They helped me get around , with medical treatment and made sure I was well taken care of. I felt really comfortable and safe at the property and the property itself is just gorgeous. Special thanks to the Croatian mum that looked after me and Vincent for being such a sweet caring guy. Would definitely come back again under better circumstances Nothing

• Tracy (10/5): Relaxing and prefect for what we wanted - The beds were comfortable, pool big and always free, thick comfy sun beds, the view was amazing the property was clean and the owners had thought of everything to make sure you had everything you needed. Magda and Vincent were like long lost friends and nothing was too much for them. Regular lifts to and from the town whenever we wanted and genuinely nice people. We travelled with two teenagers ages 12 and 14 who enjoyed the ping pong and table tennis. The gym was also one of the best hotel gyms we’ve seen! Nothing .

Magda and Vincent are brilliant people who made our stay; they spoke very well about Hvar and were always willing to give a short lift into town. The pool was a real luxury in Hvar. • Rachel (10/5): Fabulous family run villa with excellent facilities! - We had a fabulous 4 night stay at Dela. Magda, Vincent and family were amazing hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Magda arranged a private boat trip for us with a friend of her daughters and it was the highlight of our trip. The pool was large with plenty of sunbeds and extra places to sit in the shade. The gym was exceptional and used by all 8 of us in the group. The breakfast was delicious and the lifts into town were the cherry on the top. Limited storage space in rooms 5 & 6.

The location is a little bit out of town, but that’s no issue at all as Vincent, Magda & Lidija are so kind to offer lifts to and from the town. The rooms are very spacious and clean with a fabulous view. We were so well looked after and enjoyed the family atmosphere at the property - they always make you feel comfortable. We spent so much time at the pool area because it was so relaxing and comfortable. They also have table tennis, pool table and a brilliant gym too. They gave us endless lifts into Hvar town, the local beach etc. The swimming pool area was great and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. Ours had the most amazing view. Everything was spotlessly clean. It is a little way out of Hvar town but in the end it doesn’t matter because the family give you lifts into town.

We stayed for 5 nights and could not recommend Dela enough. Lidija, Vincent and Magda were exceptional hosts. The rooms were spotless very comfortable and the property is a small bit outside the town so it’s very quiet and scenic. They will drive you to the town centre and pick you up throughout the day which was a huge plus. We absolutely loved our stay. We loved our stay and could not fault it.

Bassengområdene var fine og rolige, perfekt plass for litt avslapping. De har frokost med ala carte meny, hvor de lager etter eget ønske. 15-20 minutter spasertur til byen, men familien både bringer deg og henter deg når du ønsker! Helt suuupert opphold hos en fantastisk koselig familie, kommer gjerne igjen! Ingenting å klage på!

This was the 25th country we’ve visited, with over 50 accommodations around the world — and I can confidently say this was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From the very first moment, we felt right at home. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, pleasantly scented, with a minibar, balcony, an incredibly comfortable bed, excellent shower, air conditioning, and a huge TV. Breakfast is freshly made to order, exactly the way you choose from the menu — delicious and tailored to your taste. The outdoor area features a large swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. The location is also a highlight. And the best part. They offer free transportation to wherever you need to go — and they’ll pick you up anytime as well. There might be more luxurious hotels in the city, but honestly, I doubt any of them could offer the same warm and personalized service you’ll find here. Nothing

• krok (8/5): Wonderful Stay at B&B Dela – Highly Recommended! - We had a fantastic stay at B&B Dela on Hvar! The hospitality is truly outstanding – the hosts are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. You feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. The location is a bit outside the center of Hvar, around a 20 minute steep walk, but this was no issue at all. They offer regular shuttle rides to and from the town, which made it very easy and convenient, if you didnt want to walk. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of comfortable sun loungers – perfect for relaxing. Pokonji Dol beach is also just a 20-minute walk away and absolutely worth the trip. There are also nice extra facilities like a gym, table tennis, and billiards. The rooms were clean and comfortable All in all, B&B Dela is a peaceful and welcoming place with excellent service, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hvar! We found the breakfast a bit overpriced.

From the beginning, any questions or queries I had were answered straight away. The bedrooms were perfect. Good sized space, very comfy bed and a modern bathroom. The interior of the room and accommodation building was gorgeous. The outside area and pool was stunning! Lots of sun loungers and umbrellas if wanted. The pool was a good size! Overall 10/10!! Dela is a family run business and they go above and beyond for everyone, they will do anything you need and assist in any way possible. Magda, Lidija and Vincent, were the kindest hosts. The lifts to and from town was an extra plus! We had the best stay in Dela and we hope to return in the near future! Thankyou again!!

Excellent room with a lovely view from the large terrace. Thoroughly recommend. A small issue is that the property is a little out of town and not really walkable but not a problem as the hosts offer free lifts pretty much at your convenience.

• Willem (9/5): Topverblijf in een heerlijk hotel in de buurt van Hvar City. Aanrader! - Zeer fijn hotel op een steenworp afstand van Hvar city. Het hotel wordt gerund door een familie en dat merk je aan de persoonlijke aandacht en vriendelijkheid. De familie wil je met alles helpen en brengt je op verzoek naar de stad en haalt je ook weer op. Je hoeft alleen maar een appje te sturen. Ze hebben een zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met eigen gemaakte cakejes en pannenkoeken, verschillende soorten verse jam, broodjes, koffie en een menukaart met verschillende varianten ei. De familie doet echt alles om het je naar het zin te maken en is zeer gastvrij. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim, nieuw en zeer modern met een ruime badkamer met stortdouche. De bedden zijn heerlijk. Er is een lounge waar je lekker kunt zitten en een zwembad (helaas te koud in september). Het hotel wordt goed onderhouden en alles ziet er keurig netjes uit.

• Anna (10/5): Best place ever! Hilltop views, quiet and lovely place with a fabulous pool and fantastic room. - Well, I had an absolutely fabulous time at Dela! I think it's my favorite place, I've ever stayed. The views, the pool, the room just fantastic! The host family is just sooooooo kind. Thank you Vincent and Magda, for making my stay unforgettable! Yes, it's located a bit outside, but it didn't bother me at all. I walked during the day and in the evening arranged pick up. It was never an issue and someone was always there to pick me up. Nothing- it was perfect!!!
• Lisa (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable with great hosts. - Rooms were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the balcony and the views. Lots of steps but we expected that being on the hillside. Hosts were wonderful and accomodating. Did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is not really walkable from town but the hosts gave us rides at no extra cost and when we stayed later in town, it was easy to get a taxi. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. Plenty of food choices. Nothing- everything was wonderful.

• Marcus (10/5): Amazing place run by amazing people! - Everything. Rooms, common areas, pool are great. Fresh easy breakfast made for your choice from the menu everyday with most of what you need. Great view over the city and the sea from our balcony. The place is run by a amazing family and some of the nicest people i have ever met, Vincent and Lidija! Perfect location 5 minutes away from city center and they would always help with transport, showing us a great time. If we could stay longer we would!

• TUAILLON (10/5): - L'accueil, l'hospitalité, la piscine, le calme et tranquillité. Le personnel a le cœur sur la main, accueillant et aidant. Petit déjeuner est copieux et diversifié. Le logement est à 20min à pied du centre ville mais l'établissement propose un taxi gratuit, donc ce n'est pas un problème. Nous recommandons cet établissement ++
• Juliane (10/5): - Un magnifique séjour chez Lidija. Sa famille et elle sont très accommodants, proposent de faire la navette entre le centre de Hvar & la maison. La chambre était confortable, avec un balcon pour profiter de la vue mer. Piscine très agréable pour les moments plus détente. Rien !

L’emplacement un peu loin du centre permet d’être au calme et les aller-retour effectué par la famille pour nous y emmener nous fait très rapidement oublier l’éloignement. Merci beaucoup à la famille pour leur gentillesse et leur hospitalité. Notre chambre avait une vue incroyable sur la mer et la piscine, tout était vraiment parfait. Nous recommandons fortement de venir séjourner dans cet hébergement. Rien.
• sarah (10/5): Small and friendly hotel with fabulous owners and pool - Thank you Magda, Vincent and Lidja for an amazing, relaxing 9 nights. We highly recommend this property. Our room had recently been refurbished and was very clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the air con worked very well and wasn't noisy. The property was very clean. The pool area is fabulous and the sun loungers are just so comfortable. There were always loungers available. Breakfast is great and served until 11am, they had an amazing coffee machine with lots of choice. We like to walk, so walked into town a couple of times (10 minutes downhill) and Vincent or Magda picked us up within 10 minutes if we messaged them. This was so kind of them and we really appreciated it. They are all so kind and helpful and want to ensure you have a great holiday - which we did. Thank you again - we highly recommend this property! Nothing :)

• KEITH (10/5): Great Place, Lovely People - The owners bent over backwards to make our stay as relaxing as possible, giving us lifts into town and picking us up and they fid this at the drop of a hat. Vincent, Magda and Lidija are wonderful people. The swimming pool is apparently the biggest on the island and there is also a gym, a pool table and a table tennis table. Breakfasts are lovely, with plenty to eat and cost €18. There are mini-frdges in the bedrooms The only thing that was a minor irritant was that there was no wardrobe in our room. There were drawers and a hanging rail to get round this. Our sons room had a built-in wardrobe, so we probably drew the short straw.

• V (10/5): Heerlijke plek! - Het is een hele fijne plek! Vriendelijke mensen, een goed ontbijt en prima faciliteiten (zoals de gym). We voelden ons erg welkom. De kamers zijn opgeknapt en de foto’s op Booking zijn nog niet up-to-date. De accommodatie is enkele minuten rijden vanaf het oude centrum Hvar en parkeren daar was geen probleem. -

Huone oli vasta remontoitu ja todella siisti. Yleiset tilat olivat erittäin viihtyisät. Suosittelemme tätä majoitusta.

C’est très propre et le petit déjeuner est très bon. L’espace piscine est très agréable et spacieux avec transats très confortables. C’était super, une adresse à retenir.

La disponibilité et la gentillesse des hôtes. La piscine est grande, salle de sport équipée. Nid d'aigle, un peu à l'écart de la ville. Compensé par le service de navette privée et gratuite proposée par la famille d'accueil

• yvonne (10/5): Relaxing and will definitely return. - The pool area was gorgeous. A big size pool with comfy beds and lots of shade. We loved the table tennis table and the gym as travelled with teenage boys. Great service and very clean. The breakfast was lovely. Just a real family place. Getting a lift into town whenever we wanted was just so kind.

The family instantly make you feel at home - their hospitality is exceptional. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Breakfasts were fantastic and had a wide selection to choose from. We loved the pool area - the loungers were very comfortable! For those looking for a good gym, it was great and had everything you could need for a good workout! Magda, Lidija, and Vincent were truly the best hosts and we loved chatting with them throughout our stay. We really appreciated the drop-off and pick-up into Hvar town. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, for making our honeymoon so special! We hope to be back one day in the future! ❤️ That we had to leave 😔

• Elaria (10/5): It was absolutely idyllic - The owners are amazing and so accommodating to your every need. The family are amazing people, giving us lifts to the town and even some slices of cake when it was the little boy’s birthday. They are some of the kindest people we have ever met. The place is so quiet and clean and the pool is beautiful. The view is gorgeous. We will definitely be back!
