• Verified traveler (2/5): Not a 5 star hotel - The room was nowhere close to what the photos looked like online. Even the entrance looks totally different. Furthermore, this showed up as a 5star hotel on my filtered search, that's the biggest scam. It was no more than a 3 star hotel. This needs to be updated immediately so other customers are not cheated out of their money.

• CourtneyWare (6/5): Bad location, had to get taxis everywhere, don’t think this is for westerners - Bad location, nowhere near a train station so we had to get taxis everywhere which all added up when we on a tight budget. Once we were out we had to stay out, so we couldn’t go back for a shower or to freshen up after a day out before going for dinner like we usually do. Don’t think this hotel is accommodating for Westerners. Only one person spoke English and of course she can’t be on reception 24/7. There’s a restaurant but wasn’t suitable for us. From our experience there was a LOT of Chinese, with about 10 coaches arriving during our week here (that we saw) and we didn’t see any other Westerners in the hotel during our stay. There was a wake up call at 6.30am, which we asked to turn off for the remaining of our stay. In the mornings at this time the guests on our floor would be VERY loud, shouting and laughing whilst we were trying to sleep, there was probably only one morning where we didn’t wake up to noise. Hotel was very nice and clean. Upon our arrival we had a young man help us with our bags and take us to our room. Reception and the outside look really nice, just like their pictures. Swimming pool is located across the road with a small gym. We didn’t use the pool as it was raining but we noticed there were limited beds/seats. Clean towels and free water provided, nice little balcony, fridge and TV and toiletries. The shower door wouldn’t shut properly but it’s a big shower so luckily the bathroom didn’t get too soaked and slippery. Big bed and a spacious room. No food is allowed in your rooms, so if you order you have to eat outside or in reception, where there were plenty of comfy sofas. Bit random and not related to the hotel, but we were opposite the football pitch where one night there was a game at 4am, which was quite loud, but most nights games would finish around midnight. Also, the lights were left on and one of the window had no blind, so the bright light was coming through. Personally, we wouldn’t stay here again.

• asad (6/5): - Sadly, I booked because it showed it had swimming pool, but the pool area was surrounded by trees which had leaves dropping constantly onto your body when sunbathing and the pool was full of leaves. So not ideal

• O5443Ki (4/5): Not so good ASQ. - The hotel reallocated me during my ASQ in another hotel (NY City) out of Bangkok and they notify me about this at the check-in(!!). They didn't e-mail me at all, and I couldn't cancel my booking anymore. The room was very damaged, have a rusty kettle, the outside AC is mounted inside the balcony which makes it too hot to even stand there and the balcony doors slide open all the time, shower doors cannot be closed, etc. Don't get fooled by the pictures on the internet. Staff is quite polite tho and speak decent english, and reply quite fast on Line.
• L_AmberM123 (4/5): Don't waste your money - My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel earlier this month for 4 nights. This was our third visit to Bangkok, we decided to come again as we love the city! However, We felt this trip was slightly ruined by our stay at this hotel. Firstly, we paid extra to stay in the 'junior suite' as we liked the look of the bath. But after seeing how dirty the room was, there was no chance we were going use it. There were marks all over the bed, floor, kitchen area and walls (including a squashed mosquito on the wall and another mark which my boyfriend was convinced was a bogey!). The bath was also in a room next to the bed rather than in the bathroom which seemed quite strange. We happened to have a glance into one of the double rooms which seemed alot nicer, the strange room with the bath was a balcony which made the room a little less gloomy. Also, the 'free WiFi' didn't reach our room so we were unable to us it during out stay. Another issue is that the hotel is quite far from the city centre. As we were on a budget we tried to use public transport as much as possible. But as the train station is a 20 minute walk (not stated in the description) we ended up spending unnecessary money on taxis. This also meant we couldn't pop back to the hotel during the day without a long walk or wasted money. As much as we loved visiting Bangkok, we regret choosing this hotel when there are nicer hotels of similar price closer to the city centre. Some of which we have stayed at before.
• photogenius101 (2/5): Terrible service. Scam artists - We booked the hotel online for our one night in Bangkok through Agoda. 5 minutes before we arrived to the hotel they cancelled our booking. When we arrived to the hotel to ask what happened they told us they cancelled it because all the rooms where booked out but they had 1 cancellation and if we booked directly with them we would get the room. We paid nearly double the price for the same room that we had already booked online. The room when we got here was mediocre. Nothing like the pictures that were advertised with a “view”. The shower door wouldn’t close, the water for drinking was just refilled and not fresh. The next day we went downstairs for the breakfast that was supposed to be included in the room price (like we had booked online) they told us that we hadn’t paid for breakfast and that we could now pay 150bt each to eat. All in all very disappointing stay. Will not be returning. Just another place that tries to rip off tourists.

• H00chie_Mama (4/5): No value for money - We booked the Junior suite for 3 nights – paying 1500 baht per night. Below I have judged each category based on what value I believe one should receive paying this tariff. Front desk: The staff were unwelcoming and unfriendly but reasonably attentive. Limited English spoken. No greetings upon entering or exiting the hotel. Junior Suite: Room is large in size and I immediately discovered that the deadbolt wouldn’t lock so I notified the front desk and they sent up a repairman immediately. Problem was rectified that day. We booked this room because it has a jacuzzi. We found the jets didn’t work and the water didn’t heat. Again, we notified the front desk and they had someone check the jets, but there was still no hot water; it was a tepid temperature. There is a kitchen with the junior suite, but it is non-functional. There is one mini bar fridge – no plates or cutlery. The tea and coffee is rationed to serve exactly 2 people, 1 serving, per day. There are very limited power outlets. The kettle had to be plugged into the TV socket. Too bad if you want to charge your phone, use the hairdryer and put on a lamp. There was also mould on the bedroom wall shared by the bathroom (photo attached). The bathroom was a nice size, but the shower flooded easily. No soap, only bottles of gel provided. Housekeeping: This appeared to be a rush job – cups weren’t washed up and you aren’t provided with detergent or a sponge to do it yourself. Restaurant: There is a restaurant on-site, but I never saw it open. There aren’t too many restaurants or coffee shops within walking distance from the hotel. There is a mini-mart in the foyer of the hotel. Transport: The nearest Metro station is a 20 minute walk. If you walk over the overpass near the end of the street, you will find local eateries and fruit vendors. Recreation Facilities: The pool (across the road from the hotel) is a good size for laps but the number of loungers is limited (3). There is a small gym behind the pool. No bathrooms provided. Conclusion: This particular room was comfortable and the staff addressed issues immediately. Note, there is also a 500 baht deposit payable upon check-in. I feel there was little value for money, particularly considering the hotel’s location from a Metro station. I feel while adequate accommodation, there is no real value for money here.
• dilipb196968 (8/5): Friendly and good customer care - Two of us stayed at this place for four nights and we had a reasonably good time there However the hotel is a little away from the city and public transportation. It would have been great if there is a shuttle service at least from the hotel to the airport rail link. The biggest problem is the transportation from the property and always have to look for a taxi The hotel staff was very good and friendly . Special thanks to the manager Odette and the restaurant staff the chef and also the front desk staff Jung,Jareeporn,Anucha,Chatree 😊 Hope to see you all again and wish there will be a shuttle service available next time

• sabm900 (2/5): Worst Hotel ever - avoid it - The Hotel ja very noisy and the rooms are quite dirty. We found hair in the shower and the room were dirty. The hotel has a lot of Chinese travelers so the nights are quite loud cause they are quite loud. We didn't like the breakfast eather. The rooms are cheap but not worth the the whole stress we had.

• RajeshRana09 (4/5): Difficult to locate and poorly maintained - We have booked this place as it’s location is mentioned only 800 m from Ramkhamhaeng station. But it’s more than 2 km away, it’s located at the end of a street. Cab driver had the tough time in finding the location. It was in dark and not even properly lighted. Rooms are very nice. But breakfast is extremely poor. It can be a great property if managed properly.

• ImHarp (4/5): Good hotel but too far from the City - Too far from the city, nothing is nearby even 7 eleven, family mart etc .. the hotel is located in residential area, its also very difficult to find by drivers, never waste the time in between hotel and city. Money too..
• Pygmy03 (2/5): Avoid when can - The only reason we stayed here is because our office booked this hotel through a tour operator for our office events. I can understand why tour operators would choose this hotel for their tour package. It's cheap, can accommodates large group (but not the breakfast room as we need to take turns!), close to airports and it has a very large parking area for tour buses. But if you are NOT traveling with big group, I would not recommend this hotel. Other than far from BTS or main road, it is not located in a tourist area, hence traveling will be difficult unless you order taxi online. Seems it is not easy to find as well by taxi driver. We took a taxi at 12.30am from Asiatique only to arrive at hotel at 1.30am. The taxi driver GPS pointed to different location. We asked the taxi driver to call the hotel to get direction but not really helping until my friend used her own GPS and guide the driver. We stayed 5D/4N, and breakfast was same every day. No point to comment on the quality of breakfast and room cleanliness considering the cheap price. FO staff is not friendly at all. Asked if possible to buy room slipper in case it is not provided for the room type I'm in, and I was told to go to 7-eleven instead! No toothbrush among the limited amenities. From the look and smell, the hotel is old, and some of my colleagues and I experienced strange events. Three nights in a row phone ringing in my bed room at night and difficult to disconnect; on last day I had to disconnect the line cable, thank God it stopped ringing! My friend had difficulties to open her room door on three occasions, as if it is blocked from inside. There are a few more other stories, which we can only hope it is just coincidence or bad luck. Can't really think of the plus, other than the room has mini pantry, fridge, and free 2 mineral waters daily and though not environmentally friendly, towels were refreshed on daily basis.
• Jiwon (6/5): - 여기 룸 타입 중에 절대로 스텐다드는 정말 잠만 잘분 빼고는 별로에요 . 주니어 스위트는 크기도 그렇고 가격대비 좋은거 같은데요 느낌상으로는 2배 정도 ? 일딴 저는 스텐다드로 예약해서 900바트 결제 그리고 방보고 너무 작아서 추가금 400바트 해서 방 업그레이드 했습니다. 그런데 이것은 방이 꽉 차면 안되는거니 잘생각하고 첨부터 예약하세요 .. 스텐다드 그림과 별차이 안나보여서 갔다가 차이 보면 당황 합니다. 스위트 는 비슷해여 그리고 여기 중국인 단체 여행으로 숙박잡는 곳이라서 한번 몰릴시간에 매무 복잡합니다. 참고하세요.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Dirty room, especially the bathroom. There were detergent remains near the washbasin, the tap was not clean. Warm water was not in good condition. It made only very hot water or not hot at all. Air conditioner was in bad condition (too warm at day time even set to 18°C and water keeps dropping from the indoor unit).
• Tri Ayu (10/5): Hotel yang nyaman - Overall baik, karena memang tujuan kita mau ke stadion rajamanggala, lokasinya dekat. Dekat dengan Family Mart yang buka 24 jam. Cukup dekat dengan BTS. Tetapi untuk makanan, kurang banyak variasi, dan letaknya harus jalan agak jauh. Jauh dengan pusat kota. Bagi yang tidak terlalu suka keramaian, ini cocok untuk beristirahat. Jika memesan kamar include sarapan, sarapannya enak, tetapi sudah ditentukan (bukan prasmanan), dan setiap hari menunya sama, sehingga cukup membosankan.

• armsp (6/5): Good hotel for traveler with car - This hotel is about 2km (20mins) walk from the Ramkamhaeng airport link station. Room was nice and clean, their was also mini pantry in the room too. The hotel is located in quite residential area in the blind alley. It was a little bit ark at night. There are a convenience store and local market with 8-12 minutes walk from the hotel. We have a little problem with noise in the morning as they was many group tourist stayed in this hotel. I strongly recommended the hotel for the traveler who travel with car.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel, bit of a walk. - The hotel is very nice but it is a bit of a walk from the nearest station. Not much in the way of shops etc around either, although a couple of family mart's nearby. That said, I did enjoy my stay here I found the young lady on reception to be very welcoming and helpful and generally speaking the staff were all very good. The room itself was comfortable, clean and I thought, very good value, it even has a little kitchenette (although no microwave). If you have no issues with the walk to the station, I would recommend this hotel, also when you do get to the station (Ramkhamhaeng), it is very well situated with regards to linking up with the rest of Bangkok.

Location is ok - would strongly recommend using the fab train system and there is a train station roughly 10min walk away. Reception seem very confused regarding taxi bookings - 2 out of 2 didn't show and reception had no recollection of us booking . . . My advice is get one down the street or just ask when you need one there and then. Staff are lovely especially the young girls. One member of staff rolled her eyes at me when I asked for an additional wifi code as I have two devices which I found annoying but that was just one hitch. FamilyMart is 2 min walk as well for basics. We would stay here again especially considering the price.

• John (6/5): Generally nice hotel for the price... - The staff members are generally friendly and helpful ... but many are struggling with simple English... But everyone seems to be even worse including some bank managers that I had to deal with. I needed to supplement my simple words with a drawing, gestures and translator app .. also counter check in google map direction they provided. I got lost because of the direction which was given to me by staff. I only tried the in-house restaurant once... a disappointing cold breakfast turned me off ... everything was in a food warmer but they weren't heated. The daily 2 bottles of drinking water were delivered in old Changs 500mls glass bottles. One of them fell off the bench, broke and cost me Bt50. I could not see any of this 500mls Changs bottles at any store including the big supermarket. A plastic bottle with mineral water is being sold for only Bt14 - 20. There s facility for a kitchenette but no plates no bowls, spoon, forks. The internet is slow at the 4th floor. The instruction to link to the network was printed in font 4 and vague.
• icypopsies (8/5): Far from the city - You get more than what you paid for when it comes to Hotel facilities and the service you get. The linens and towels are clean, not smelly and dont look old, the beds are comfy and soft. But the location is too far from the city, approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic, that's 150-200 Baht (drivers often decline to take you from the City to the Hotel if you dont pay extra, prepare 300baht if rush hour). Same estimated time going to Suvarnabhumi Airport. There is nothing to do nearby or maybe i jst did not explore. Tip. Using Grab is cheaper than Uber here, another option is have the Hotel book you a metered taxi.
• adam (8/5): Bra hotell sämre läge - Bodde på platinum första natten på vår backpack-resa! rummen är perfekta med allt man behöver för att sova och känna sig fräsch! Dock lite utanför staden och med mycket trafik så tog de nästan 45 minuter till koh Saab road men hotellet i sig är grymt! Åt aldrig av maten!

• 506orionm (10/5): Good place for the price - One of Bangkok's cheaper hotels. Very far away from most of the things tourists would want to see, but that's why you have cheap taxis. Service was very quick and friendly. Rooms are well furnished and well maintained.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Nur eingeschränkt empfehlenswert - Wir hatten das Hotel gewählt, weil eine Verwandte meiner Frau in der Nähe wohnt. Gefallen hat uns das relativ saubere und komfortable Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung. Dass das Hotel weitab von touristischen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist, war uns von vorne herein klar und das sehe ich auch nicht als Minuspunkt (es besteht ja vorab die Möglichkeit, sich über die Lage zu informieren). Allerding gab es 2 Dinge, die "genervt" haben: Das kostenlose "WiFi" hat zwischendrin nur kurz (50 Minuten) funktioniert und war dann ohne jede Vorankündigung wieder weg. Man versuchte, uns einzureden, dass das an unserem Computer liegen muß (eine Begründung, die ein IT-Experte nicht unbedingt hören will). Auch wenn es schon in anderen Bewertungen gestanden ist, zum Frühstück: Ich kann eigentlich jeden Europäer nur davon abraten, diese Option hinzuzubuchen. Chinesen verstehen unter einem guten Frühstück anscheinend etwas völlig anderes: Es waren mehrere dampfende Kessel mit einem "unbekannten" Inhalt aufgebaut, woraus man sich bediente, so auch ich. In einem war etwas, das schon nach dem ersten Bissen für mich extrem unangenehm schmeckte und absolut ungenießbar war. Nur mit viel Wasser konnte ich das hinunterspülen. Wir haben am nächsten Tag auf das Frühstück verzichtet (allein der Gedanke daran, nochmal etwas vergleichbares zu essen, ließ mich schon erschauern) und haben auf einem nahen Thaimarkt durchaus sehr lecker und allemal preisgünstiger wie im Hotel gefrühstückt.
• Patrick (6/5): Second stay at Platinum Suite - This is my second review of the Platinum Suite, after my second stay. Unfortunately, although the hotel is generally a comfortable and cosy place to stay, I have some complaints: 1) Having stayed in two different rooms at the Platinum Suite, I can now attest that the air con units have been consistently weak. The two units I have used omit only a light breeze, even when switched to 18 degrees and put on full fan mode. In a hot country such as Thailand, the air con really needs to be a bit more powerful. 2) The housekeepers provide every room with a kettle, but only give you tea and coffee on the day you check-in. Thereafter, you have to fend yourself. In my view, this seems to be a penny-pinching swindle, since it's only a few sachets of tea and coffee that I'm asking for, and the housekeepers have got piles of it on their trolley. I've seen it with my own beady eyes! Despite these gripe, however, I must emphasise that the staff at Platinum suite are all delightfully pleasant (even their tea and coffee system is a bit ridiculous).
• Patrick (8/5): A Pleasant Stay at the Platinum Suite - Nice hotel. The room was very spacious and it came with a small kitchenette — which I thought was a nice touch. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are also friendly and cheerful. My only complaints would be: 1) The cleaners kept forgetting to replenish the tea and coffee basket (not the end of the world, I know). 2) You have to ask for a new WiFi card every day. 3) On my last day a construction site opened up nearby, and the noise coming from the pneumatic drills over — I think they were a pneumatic drills — was positively deafening. Although for folks who intend to be out sightseeing during the day, the drilling probably won't be a problem.

• AjarnFarangset (2/5): Never come back again - Very noisy aircon! You will not sleep! The general atmosphere is so cold, like North Korean hotel. This hotel is made by Chinese to welcome them only. No thai, no westerners, only chinese ! The housekeeper doesn't know how to work, coming inside room even have customers.
• Zxlam (6/5): Couple Holiday trip - Hotel pricing was awesome, approx $23 SGD / night. Daytime counter-service was great. polite and helpful. Night time not so. Two shift i noticed, the day time shift lady was much better then the night shift lady. Amenities wasn't there as what was stated. There was no in-room safe. "Kitchen Light" was faulty.Cable/Satellite TV has no English channels. Fridge get turned off once we leave the room ( what !? ) Location wise is pretty bad as it is out of the city area but being such has its advantage as well, you can get a taxi for meter pretty easy without them demanding for fixed price(200-300 baht) , by meter it usually is less than 100 baht. you might however get into trouble when trying to hail a taxi back to the hotel though. Suggest you to use GrabTaxi ( Mobile App ).
• santoshv2015 (6/5): Waste of Money - The hotel is located nearer to the airport but far away from all the happening places of Bangkok, nearest BTS station is also quite far away. They provide complimentary breakfast but you really don't know what you are eating as there are no English placards placed under the buffet dishes. The staff is good and helpful. The room is nice, bed is comfortable but the split AC makes a lot of noise. If you rely on 7 Eleven stores then this is not the place to stay as there is no 7 Eleven nearby. Nearest one is 15 mins away and quite a long walk. Wifi is good but you have to log in everyday and it keeps signing out. Quite a nuisance.
• BPJ (10/5): Excellent value and local location - We arrived at 2am from a long flight and we greeted by the most friendly staff. Even though they could not find our reservation, they gave us a room and figured out the issue the next morning. The room was great and we would definitely stay again.
• alf single traveler (4/5): give it amiss. - the rooms were not as described their is refurbishment going on so some rooms are after refurb but not mine ,there is no safes and ,the bar is not in use they only speak a couple of words of English, the hotel for chineese the staff were friendly and helpful the room was cleaned every day so no problems their, but would not recommend it, if I was told about the refurb I would not have stayed their.
• willweb77 (8/5): Very good value for price - +: Very fair price (22€). Nice building, spacious room with a living room and kitchen corners. No balcony for me... but a jacuzzi. Nice surprise -: receptionist did not speak proper English. Furnitures and bathroom to refurbish. 20mn by walk from train station Note: 2nd floor is under renovation: it might be the case for the whole hotel
