Guest Reviews
- surekha (1/5): Extremely poor food - Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. The food served to us was clearly stale and not fresh at all. The rice was spoiled and had a very bad smell coming from it. Even the rotis felt old and reheated, not freshly made. When we complained, the staff first kept arguing with us and insisted everything was fresh, but later they themselves admitted that the rice was not fresh.
The malai kofta had absolutely no taste. Honestly, this was one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. If both the roti and rice were stale/spoiled, then what exactly were we paying for? Just one sabji? This is not the quality or service anyone expects after paying for food at a hotel.
What made the experience even worse was the staff behavior. Instead of handling the complaint professionally and apologizing, they kept arguing with us. Serving spoiled food is a serious hygiene issue and can affect people’s health. The management seriously needs to take action on food quality, freshness, and staff behavior. Very bad service and a horrible dining experience overall.

- Red Indian (7/5): Short stay at Umaid Regency - The room's ambience and cleanliness. Attitude of manager, he kept asking for full payment from the point of arrival, although my card was available for charge. Did not allow late check out, even though,70%rooms were empty. There was a painting work going on in the restaurant while we were eating alone. Buffet breakfast was not available as occupancy was low. Cabs from the location were not easily available.
- AK_Delhi (4/5): Won't repeat ever in summer due to lack of fridge. Winter, yes because the room was very good - The pool on the roof was good. Room size and decor (Royal Deluxe Room) was good. Adequate parking. Nice personal terrace verandah with the room with chairs and a table. Very mediocre breakfast with basically indian fare. Only eggs & toast for western food. Food in room service also mediocre, at best. MOST IMPORTANT - THERE IS NO REFRIGERATOR IN THE ROOM.
- BASANT KUMAR (5/5): -

- RAMESH NARAIN (4/5): Property not advisable for stay. - Breakfast was good. The rooms are very small and sufficient furniture is not provided. There is no table chair, Almirah or footrest in the room. The Non Veg . served in the room was not delicious or properly cooked.

- Namita Anoop (4/5): - We had a wedding in Umaid Haveli and since there was no room in haveli and we landed one day before in Jaipur we opted for Umaid residency. We wanted to move from Umaid residency to Umaid haveli which is next building and there was no proper road between two hotels. The staff didn’t assist in transferring the luggage despite umaid residency and haveli belong to the same group and we were there for a wedding in Umaid haveli approx 20 people, still didn’t help us.

- Deepak (5/5): Not doing this again - NOT all all like the pictures on booking websites/portals. Small rooms and old furniture don't justify the cost.
As this section is for something I liked, tha kful that it was only an overnight stay and not longer. NOT all all like the pictures on booking websites/portals. Small rooms and old furniture don't justify the cost.
- Sukamal (9/5): - Good Hotel🤩🤩 room is specious
- Prakash (10/5): -
- ilya (8/5): Fine option to stay not far from Amber fort - The breakfast was nice with some Indian options, location away from the city center made it a bit calmer than the city itself. The hotel is quite old, some things in the room fall apart, but overall, it's okay
- Sharma (8/5): -
- MANOJ KUMAR (6/5): Location and cleanliness. - The location was suitable for me as I needed to stay one night prior to my stay at Le Meridien.. The breakfast was also good. The decor of the hotel and of the rooms is nice - old Rajasthani style. The hotel intentionally reported to BOOKING.COM that the credit card used by me to secure the booking was not working, that too for 3 different cards, which are till date, absolutely functional. I kept on receiving emails from you that the hotel wasn't able to process my payment- please provide a different card. When I called them up, they said that it being wedding season, they cannot risk loosing any booking and thus made me pay online, much before the date of cancellation deadline given by you.
Also, the bathroom in the rooms is so small that one cannot close the door if one is seated on the pot.
- Chaubey (10/5): -
- Amit (1/5): Would not recommend this to anyone. In the same price you have other better hotel in the same location. - Except location there was nothing good about the property.
Too loud music because there was a wedding going on in their wedding venue and music was too loud and we couldn’t sleep. Room was too small and it’s not the value for money when you have to spend a night.
Paid 4700 for one night but it was better to go for some other 5 star hotel nearby by just paying another 800-1000 extra.
- Dabas (8/5): -
- Nirmal (10/5): Great culture experience. - It was antique and true to the culture of Jaipur. N/A

- Akash (8/5): -
- Kaur (8/5): -
- Ankur (8/5): -
- Nikhil (5/5): - The rooms & hotel infrastructure resembles palace style 1) Restaurant is very small, hardly 6-7 tables. We had to wait everyday.
2) Food quality is bad
3) Front desk staff very rude
- pragadeesh (8/5): -
- Husain (9/5): Excellent - It confuses with Umaid Haveli so should give clear directions

- Ashish (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shamsher (1/5): Bad -
- Alkesh (7/5): Good - In general all good
- Suman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jagdish (6/5): Wouldn’t stay here again. - The location. It’s away from the hustle of the main Jaipur city. I different staff. They don’t care at what time they wake up their guests to move their parked cars so that their own construction vehicles can come in the same spot. I was woken up early morning by them for this. Was quite shocking really when I found out that I was being asked to move my car that early for construction. And this is after one of their own helped me park the night before.
- Gopal (5/5): Will avoid if other places are available. - The rooms were nicely done. Small rooms
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel for the location - I got the family room which was spacious with two beds. The room and bathroom were clean. However, the shower drain was backed up and water wasn’t going down easily. Hence, some of the water overflowed outside the shower confines, but luckily there were drains under the sink and next to the toilet for the water to escape. Service was great! The only downside is that you may have loud speaking neighbors and if you’re next to the stairwell like I was, you can hear chatter from other floors.
