Free Parking, free Wi-Fi, conveniently located to stores, shopping, venues and restaurants. Very reasonable for my commute and purpose for the trip. I didn't like that there wasn't an iron or ironing board in the room. I had to buy a iron and just let the hotel have it as I had to fly out and couldn't bring it. Lastly, I didn't like that room service is only provided once a week per the front desk attendant and I wasn't staying that long when I needed it.

AC worked well, which is important in Houston. It was nice to have the fridge and sink. The outside of the property was disgusting! There was garbage everywhere, and I mean everywhere. The pool was so brown and full of garbage that it smelled. The pet relief area had so much garbage on the ground that it was too much trouble to use it. Not to mention that it seemed as if no one had ever picked up after their dogs.

- Catherine (1/5): Dried urin on the floor next to the bed. Smell of urine, dirty, overall uncoean. Freeway noise, sirens, police, and ambu - Close to Hospital I traveled to Houston for a medical appointment at a cancer center. I am a Stage IV cancer patient, and this trip was medically necessary. When booking my reservation, It was specifically noted that I would not be charged until arrival and that early check-in was available upon request. Because I am unfamiliar with the Houston area and traveling alone as a female, safety, cleanliness, and the ability to rest were critical factors in selecting this hotel. Unfortunately, I experienced none of these. I arrived at the hotel at approximately 1:00 PM and was informed that I would not be allowed to check in early, despite being told that the room was ready. I was also denied access to a restroom. During this time, there were individuals loitering in the street and along the fence at the hotel driveway, which made me feel unsafe. Due to these conditions, I requested to cancel my stay and receive a refund. This request was denied, and I was informed that the booking was nonrefundable. Having no other immediate option, I checked in after my doctor’s appointment later that day. The first room I was given was unacceptable. The room smelled strongly of urine, and upon inspection, there was dried urine splattered on the floor between the beds and under the shelving. The floor was visibly filthy; when I used a towel to wipe it, the towel became black. This condition was unsanitary and entirely inappropriate, especially for someone undergoing cancer treatment. I requested a room change and was moved to another room around 11:00 PM. While this room did not smell of urine, it smelled strongly of marijuana. At that point, I was exhausted and simply wanted to sleep. Unfortunately, sleep was not possible. The room faced the freeway and was subjected to constant loud traffic, revving engines, squealing tires, vehicles loitering in the parking lot, and repeated police and ambulance sirens throughout the night.

There was black dried on skin on toliet no frige or microwave until noon the next day. No working phone in room. And they weed smoking next door and management did nothing. I want a refund because I was told they gave my room that was prepaid for was giving to someone else. I litterly was trapped in my room because of the people next didn't want to sleep and just kept partying. I felt very unsafe but had no options because I asked for a refund and was told booking.com doesn't allow it.

- Terry (6/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay there, the pool area looks very bad - I like the fact that the room was very nice with the kitchenette and everything. It exceeded our expectations I did not like that there was no hot water for my family and I to shower, so we had to use cold water instead. And I did not like the fact that the whole time we were there, the staff did not come knock on our door the next morning to change our linens for the beds, nor bring us clean fresh towels. We went out and purchased towels from Walmart

Its location and the fact that is pet friendly is a great plus. We will definitely use this Studio 6 for all our future stays in Houston. Even though there are signs posted on hotel’s green areas regarding the guests dogs’ waste pickup, most tenants ignore this law and don’t clean after their pets.

- david (1/5): horrible experience - the location was ok, not much around the area though. Ived stayed at Studio 6 before but never one in this bad of a condition. I could tell by the guests checking in that we had made a bad mistake, some of these people didn't look like they were up to any good TBH, check in was simple but it felt like we were enclosed in an interrogation room when doing our check in. we got to our elevator to get to our rooms (2) and even the elevator was small, old smelling and cramped. we thought we were going to be staying with the view overlooking NRG stadium but instead we got sent way to the very back of the motel facing old trees and a building away from any persons. The hallway flooring was torn up . filthy and worn down, dirt stuck on the bottom of all the walls. we could smell weed all the way to our rooms, we went inside our rooms and they were hot and smelling old, in one of the rooms the lights weren't even working, and both rooms smelled really old. the AC filters were dirty which may be why they weren't cooling, my friends said they were ok with all of that but honestly, i didn't feel safe for myself or for them and the conditions were not anywhere to standard for a studio 6, we didn't ask for a refund we just left after about 30 minutes, we went across town and got a much nicer place, never going back!

- Zachary (2/5): - Had to switch rooms 3 times within check in. 1st room pieces of the ceiling fell down onto the floor and mold on the walls, 2nd room the AC busted and leaked all over the floor by the bed again mold everywhere. 3rd room was dirty, sheets had stains, towels had hair and stains on them, outlets didn’t work, trash was everywhere outside the hotel. It just is a bad motel that I wouldn’t even recommend to homeless people. Should be shut down due to health violations.

Additional kitchen items could have been rented for $50 returnable fee which we didn't need. I do wish that more toiletries were provided since I forgot to pack some and only 2 bars of soap were in the room. The towels weren't the greatest either but worked since we didn't stay too long.

Nasty. The workers were friendly. I asked about staying another night. I was told for one night it was going $225. I paid $259 for a week.

Property is in a very good location. Studio is roomie and clean, kitchen appliances in great working condition, hotel has ample lighted parking, staff is friendly. Hotel has a great price. There was a lot of mold on walls and ceiling in the back rooms on first floor. We cleaned all mold in our room, mold was back within five days; we slept wearing facemasks. We reported this issue to staff, they said they will work to fix the problem. Room would be more comfortable if there was sitting facilities, our room was too dark, if lights were higher on the wall or better yet on ceiling, instead of on the nightstands,lighting would be much better. I just wish tenants would pickup after their pets.
