Je le recommande vivement !! Le prix du billet du car et les indications sur les trajets d'un point à un autre son pas indiqué et aussi il n'y a pas de bornes sur tous les arrêts ( dommage) car je pense que le prix est différent selon les endroits et les arrêts. Le prix du billet doit être plus cher dans le car .

La proprietaria è molto cortese e disponibile e ci ha fatto il check in anche a sera tardi (alle 23.00) con molta gentilezza. Forse si potrebbe mettere più attrezzatura per cucinare e prodotti per lavare i piatti. C'è una dotazione molto essenziale.

Як і апартаменти, та і вся територія готелю була завжди чистою. Персонал був привітним і одразу відгукувались на будь-які прохання. В номері було все необхідне для зручного приготування легких страв. Спати з відчиненими вікнами недуже зручно через те, що чути гучну музику з клубів.

• SANDRO (9/5): Tutto sommato molto bene - La struttura è buona bene la piscina ed il giardino adiacente. E’ dislocata troppo verso il centro un po’ rumoroso. Non è colpa ovviamente della struttura. Comunque pulizie bene e aria condizionata inclusa nel prezzo. Non troppo bene il Wi-Fi che secondo me era troppo sovraccarico di utenti.

Les hôtes sont très à l'écoute des vacanciers. les ustensiles de cuisine minimum, permettent juste de faire des salades et des petits déjeuners. pas de micro onde, ni de grille pain; une seule plaque chauffante.

• Gergana (10/5): Me and my friends totally loved the pool and the food there. The rooms were clean and had everything. - The hosts are amazing and so kind. The pool is amazing, we spent two days just chilling there.

• B7451KNlinas (4/5): Definitely is not a 4 star.. 2/3 star at max. - Cheap and close to the centre, but that’s about the only good thing. When we arrived, the male staff member watched us struggle up many stairs with heavy suitcases and didn’t offer to help. The room floor hadn’t been cleaned — sand everywhere and hair in the shower from the last guests.When our toilet paper ran out, we asked for more and were told to go buy our own. The listing says “air conditioning included” but it’s actually $8 a day. We didn’t pay and spent a week uncomfortably hot. My friend asked for a clean towel and was refused. One night, a male staff member wrongly accused her of not being a guest, shouted at her, and threatened to call the police, very unsettling. Beds are rock-hard, the kitchen barely has utensils for a “self-catering” place, and the food is awful aka my tomato soup was green and tasted mouldy. Female staff are extremely patronising yet were overly friendly to the teenage boys staying there, not surprising. Only stay here if you need somewhere cheap to sleep and don’t care about cleanliness or basic hospitality because the staff clearly don’t care either.

• Rawden (9/5): This was my 8th visit to Crete and the third time at Theoni's I will be back again. - Location is great as its really peaceful and yet within easy walking distance of all and any action you want,beaches,bus stops,shops, clubs,bars and restaurants.The pool is immaculate,as are all the facilities within the apartment.I am not a young person but am quite active so this is great.This place is civilised and genteel it is great for families and proper people,it is not recommended for 'rowdies' or anyone with 'attitude' and inconsideration of others. Maybe a bigger bowl for the washing up.
• Tautvydas (6/5): Fix your AC! - Good location. Pool area is ok Overall this place is a mess.Would not recommend. AC was terrible even if you leave it on all day it will not cool the room. Bed was super uncomfortable - separate mattress and solid pillows. One of the strangest things: You get one roll of toilet paper after finishing it you need to buy more yourself…Even thought pool area is good personal always sits near by the pool and watching you that felt a bit uncomfortable. To Sum up take this apartment if you can handle 30 degrees heat in the room after all day outside laying on the rocky beds and of-course prepare your own toilet paper.
• callumbS6178ZY (2/5): Abismal - Me and my girlfriend just finished our holiday at Theoni apartments, and all we can say about the rooms is that they are abismal, we came into to our "apartment" and found that we had no toilet seat and no remote for the AC, after asking the staff they told us that it would cost us 56 euro for the week to use the AC even thou on the booking it says this is included with the room. as for our toilet seat the staff said that it will be sorted monday, this was never sorted after asking for a second time we was practically told to suck it up and crack on. the only decent parts of this apartment/hotel is the pool to some degree, and the fridge being the only thing fully intact and working.

• Victor (5/5): First and last time here. Thank you. - We liked the location cause it is located very near the center of Malia. The pool was clean and had a nice depth. It was safe and every night a security guard was guarding the apartments. We didn't like the way the cleaning lady was cleaning our room, we didn't like that our apartment didn't have any ventilation in the bathroom and the apartment didn't have many things included that other apartments have for the same price.

• Saoirse (6/5): My first home in Greece - Most of the staff was friendly and the room was kept clean. I moved to Crete and needed a temporary place to live and work from Some information on Booking.com is not correct: * No socket near the bed * The room has aircon, but you have to pay €7 per day * No smoking throughout, not correct. People with asthma be aware that you will inhale smoke from your neighbours Other things: * Dodgy sockets * 1 ring hob (living here for 35 nights and having only one ring to cook from) * Bad internet connection (luckily my employer sent me a router so I could work) * Not a silent place, other guests think they are the only ones there. One week there was a hysterical lady arguing and screaming every day. The nearby hotel has live entertainment most nights of the week, so bring earplugs * Not sound or smell proof because of a shared vent with your neighbour. If they use the bathroom it's like somebody is in your room. And if they use the toilet the fumes enter your bathroom. * Bins being emptied every other day, that means you have to wrap your dirty toilet paper very well because otherwise it's going to stink (not allowed to throw toilet paper in the toilet) * You have to buy your own toilet paper * No stuff to do the dishes with (had to buy it) * No knives to cut your veggies and no potato peeler. Had to buy it too. * Owners hardly speak English so communication was difficult No help when I left. I moved to Greece so I have 3 suitcases, a backpack and a huge box with my computer gear for my work. I was put on the top floor and had to walk down the stairs with all my heavy stuff. The male host stood watching without offering any help. When I was almost done the cleaning lady offered help and she carried my heavy stuff with me. The cleaning lady is the best btw. Works very hard. The host not offering me cost the accommodation a point..

• Louise (9/5): Clean, great location, good for money- would stay again - The location was great, the host was super lovely, the apartment was spacious, it had everything you needed to keep food and cook it. The balcony was nice. The bathroom was very clean and nice There were no sponges or towels for the kitchen. The AC didn’t work, we couldn’t find the remote for it either. The beds were a little hard but not unbearable. Do not disturb signs for the rooms- we had the door locked and the housekeeper came by for room service which was very lovely but we declined, they then continued to try the door, unlocked it anyway whilst my friend was getting changed…..not ideal.

• Anastasia (7/5): Pleasant stay - Simple apartment with everything needed for a short stay. Clean room, beds are fine. Nice area around the pool, very peaceful. Good location - close to supermarkets and restaurants, yet quiet. KTEL stop to go to the airport or Heraklion is a couple of minutes on foot. Maybe it was just the room where I stayed but at times the sewage smell from the bathroom was unbearable. In the kitchen there was only one hot plate and very limited kitchen appliances, so cooking for one is doable (if you are creative and easygoing), cooking for two people or a couple wouldn't be possible. No sponge or dishwashing liquid in the kitchen. The Internet was unreliable.

And the personal is really nice. You can imagine how nice this place is, if the only thing was that the doors were loud and the shower curtains short.

Had to ask for extra blankets. Sitting inside at night was cold. In summer the cold is a plus. Wifi only usable around pool.

The people there are very friendly and explain everything very properly and patiently. Will definitely come back again!
• Comoxjean (10/5): Exceptional - The manager is very nice and helpful and the property is beautiful. The pool is great and the pool bar serves reasonably priced delicious dinners. There are also good nearby restaurants. It is a 15 minute drive from the Malia archaeological site (stunning— we preferred it to Knossos) and it was 50 minutes to Knossos, in our opinion preferable to the shorter drive from Heraklion. We always prefer secure on site parking. The back lane parking felt safe, but it’s on a first come basis. We never had a problem, but at some times it might be difficult to find a spot there. There is also a nearby municipal parking lot and this small town felt very safe.

• 533jaenaa (10/5): Tidy appartment and excellent service. - Theoni appartments is a walking distance to the old village, main strip, bus stop, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. We even just walk to go to the beaches. This accomodation is very clean and most of all, the owners and staff are very hospitable. There's a kitchenette. The pool and bar area are also well kept. We appreciate that there is security in the evening and it is relaxed and quiet. We felt safe and slept well throughout our holiday. Even if we have to pay extra cost for the airconditioning, I think all in all, we got more than what we paid for.. excellent service and lovely team. Thank you also for the treats. ☺️

• GeneralMacs (8/5): Staff feel like family... Very welcoming - The location was conveniently loaded close to the areas that we wanted to access. Plus the staff were lovely and the layout of the premises was good in my opinion. Clean and tidy with good maintained AC. I would happily return to this establishment in future.
• Cretanmama (10/5): Beautiful little place - We staying here for a month, and so far we love this place, the people and service. It’s on the Main Street of Malia close to everything but ones in the premises you forget the noise and relax by the beautiful pool and the garden full of beautiful flowers. It’s a family owned place, very caring and always smiling. The rooms are kept very clean and factional. We have not eaten a lot here but the times we did it was very tasty, plus they have the best ice cream here 😋😋😋 Trust me you will not be disappointed if you choose Theonis.

• E8557JJkk (8/5): Nice Family Run Apartments - We stayed here during the last two weeks in July 2019. This place had everything we needed at a reasonable price. We were fed in the morning (good continental breakfast, sorry no full English or fry up) but it was finely adequate to start your day off. Again at night we were fed with a home made meal, Fish & Chips or rice or chicken souvlaki, Salad & rice. The drinks are extra and you are not to bring your own drinks or water but you will always get a complimentary drink called raki (A strong local spirit drink, which we loved :)

• AlMac1999 (8/5): Good value - Me and 2 mates booked this for our lads holiday. When we got to the apartments, we realised it was more of a family friendly place, so we had to keep the noise to a minimum. Initially, we were greeted by an angry man who rudely told us "No noise and no funny business or you're out immediately!". He wasn't polite. However, the rest of the staff (all family I believe) were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was very clean which we all agreed was a great positive. The food was ok, but nothing special. Still nice though. The rooms were basic but did the job... however you had to pay 7 Euro a night for aircon. We decided that we'll just cook ourselves as we deemed that price very dear. Overall, it's a great place to stay if you are coming with family. Even though it is situated right by the strip, I would avoid booking here for a lads holiday as you face hidden restrictions such as noise levels etc. Saying that, if you are coming as a family, it is tucked away far enough from the strip so that there is no noise.
• 204waynee (8/5): Good Value - Visited in April 2018, rooms were basic but clean. Lovely pool that was very clean. Away from the strip so very peaceful but then again it was out of season. Had a couple of meals here that were very nice and reasonably priced. The owners were very friendly and helpful kept bringing us free shots of homemade raki whilst we were by the pool . Nice little bar that served local and branded drinks, again reasonably priced. Lots of eateries and bars close buy. Recommend Pothamos beach which is a short taxi ride away. All in all a great holiday for what we paid. Will be going back soon !
