• Talal S. (10/5): Enjoyable and lovely family stay - Be aware that this apartment listing is actually for two apartments. One is located as described in Rambla de Catalunya and the other is located in Carrer d'Aragó. We got the latter one and at first we were quite surprised and irritated. It is mentioned in the listing but was not very visible and we didn't know until the booking was done and we received a message from the host. Anyway, Carrer d'Aragó is actually closer to the center and much better located than the one in Rambla de Catalunya. So in the end, it was a pleasant surprise. The flat is well located, about 10 min walk from Plaça de Catalunya and 2 min walk from Casa Battlo. There are a few supermarkets nearby. It is clean and quite spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped but a micro-wave was missing. It is very comfortable and we had a lovely stay. If you are coming to Barcelona with the car, like we did, I recommend the parking located at Carrer de la Diputació, 239. It is close to the flat, 2 blocks away. It is safe and the staff is very friendly. You can book for the duration of your stay via Parclick. Then, when you get there, they will give you a ticket that you can use to go in and out as much as you want. Also, don't forget that this area is inside the limited traffic zone and you should register your car in advance here: ZBEMetropolis of Barcelona, https://zberegistre.ambmobilitat.cat/en/Login/Login. A micro-wave oven would have made life a bit easier, especially when you have kids. They provide only one tab for the dishwasher, so bring some with you. There are no paper towels and no tissues. But these are small details and you can easily buy what you need just around the corner.

• Syc (7/5): Friendly Staff but Disappointing Stay - The staff were very friendly, and communication via WhatsApp was very convenient. The luggage storage service was helpful, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and easy. The elevator was out of order, and the stairway lighting was insufficient, which made carrying luggage up and down very inconvenient. In the middle of the night, someone suddenly rang the doorbell. The person only spoke Spanish, and after failing to communicate in English, they even tried to unlock the door with a key, which was very frightening. I contacted the staff, but there was no response because it was late at night. The next day, they only said it was “very strange” and provided no follow-up at all. The actual room did not quite match the photos. It looked much older in person, and there was dust in many areas.

• Fiona (9/5): Lovely tastefully decorated apartment in a great location. - Location was perfect for us. Restaurants, bars and shopping on the doorstep. Maybe a little far if you want to be near the beach although taxis are easily accessible and fairly priced. Showers were wonderful and beds comfortable. We had requested an apartment with a double bed and two singles but had two double beds so my adult daughters had to share. Didn’t really matter but I had specifically searched for two singles. The fact that we had access to the property when we arrived at about 10am was very welcomed and why I didn’t mention the bed configuration! I was so pleased to get in and rest! The staff were super friendly and on hand whenever we needed them. We stayed for 3 nights and 2 mornings were woken by loud footsteps from the floor above which went on for a long time.

Misleading listing: photos/addresses shown aren’t necessarily the apartment you actually get (our apartment was even at a different location and the pictures did not match). Booking.com should stop this practice 2. Internet was too slow; Chromecast didn’t work and reporting it didn’t help. 3. Too few basic supplies for a 4-night stay (1 detergent, 1 trash bags, not enough, toilet paper, 1 dishwasher/washing tablets, salt/pepper). I know it is not required, but it is nice if it there 4 €500 deposit, not clearly communicated at booking. You see it after booking the apartment. 5 Excessive paperwork (filling out many forms) and too many emails about rules/requirements, creating unnecessary hassle

Die schönen Bilder der Zimmer und Küchen in der Anzeige sind gemäss Vermieter nur für Marketingzwecke gedacht!!! Hier mietet man somit eine unbekannte Wohnung zu einem ... natürlich überteuerten Preis. Nachdem uns der Fehler aufgefallen ist und wir reklamierten, hat man Bilder "unserer" Wohnung in die allgemeine Ausschreibung neu übernommen. Vom Mietvertrag zurücktreten konnte man nicht mehr, stattdessen hat der Vermieter eine beleidigende Whatsapp geschrieben, wir wollten nicht kommen. Das hatten wir nie vor. Wir wollten, wie mehrfach geschrieben, eine der beworbenen Wohnung mieten. Diese standen uns aber nicht zur Verfügung, denn diese seinen nur Lockvögel. Immerhin hat er die Plastikstühle in der Küche ausgetauscht. Hätten wir vor Vertragsabschluss die Bilder der tatsächlich zu mietenden Wohnung, die deutlich überteuert war, gesehen, mit Rücktrittsmöglichkeit, dann wäre alles in Ordnung gewesen. Der momentane Ausschreibungstext schützt den Vermieter nicht, wenn man Betrug transparent ankündigt, bleibt der Sachverhalt immer noch bestehen. Man kann nicht in einer Anzeige 250 Wohnungen zur Vermietung zusammenfassend ausschreiben, Bilder der schönsten Wohnungen zeigen, einen saftigen Mietpreis darunter schreiben (9 Tage = Fr 2300.- ) und dann kommt man in eine vergleichsweise "schlechtere" Wohnung. Die vermietende Wohnung muss der Kategorie der Ausschreibung entsprechen. Das war hier nicht der Fall. Immerhin hat uns booking 10% des Mietpreises gutgeschrieben. Die Bewertung ist trotzdem negativ. Wir wollten nur eine der ausgeschriebenen Wohnung mieten. Das wurde uns verwehrt.

L'appartement est grand et clair, avec une petite terrasse. Il est bien équipé. Vieil immeuble mais équipé d'un ascenceur. Proximité immédiate des poubelles de publiques de tri, beaucoup de bouteilles jetées dasn les conteneurs tard le soir en dépit de l'interdiction. ce qui montre aussi que l'isolation sonore est perfectible.

• Tawanna (10/5): Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others - The location is amazing. An easy and short walk to great shopping and dining. The apartment was very clean and beds were comfortable. Our interactions with the employees were exceptional. One guest ordered an item to be delivered to the location and not only did they accept it, they put it in the apartment. This was great because we would not have made it back to the apartment before they left work. That was a major plus in this experience. The only challenged was that the hot water. One of the four bathrooms shower water would not get hot. Another bathroom got hot water 95% of the time. This wasn't a major problem because the two biggest bathrooms did consistently had hot water.

• XING (3/5): 这是我本次旅行，10家酒店里最差劲的一家，不要来！ - 当心！即便在你预定这家酒店时已经全额支付了房费，但是这家酒店也会逐渐的……要求你缴纳押金500欧元。否则，它不会给你前往酒店的路线指引，你也无法办理酒店入住。不出所料，在退还押金时我遇到了麻烦，至今已经一个多月了，在我没有任何违约的前提下，我至今没有收到押金。我已经要求booking 客服介入了，但是今天仍旧没有解决。 你从酒店的照片看，这家酒店宛如一个复古的宫殿，但实际酒店的家具都是廉价的仿制品，衣柜一个卯榫结构都没有，非常的单薄，一推还会晃动。洗手间台盆上方的圆镜，看似漂亮的复古镂空镜框，竟是用廉价的密度板雕刻而成，未经打磨粗砺的镜框下沿，在潮气的作用下，白色的油漆已经脱落，露出密度板的基地，廉价的不能再廉价了。

• Thomas (9/5): Very nice except for the above issue - Nice apartment in a great location The very limited amenities (especially in the kitchen) required that we had to buy full size dishwashing liquid , dishwasher soap, garbage bags , salt/pepper, cooking oil etc, toilet paper , kitchen paper towels, laundry soap, for the week , thus requiring us to leave behind almost full containers of these items since the supermarkets only sell large containers of these. If the apartment spent just €10 -€20 for small versions of these items it would leave a more convenient experience for a weeklong guest and would be a minimal cost for a guest paying approximately €2000 for the accommodation for the week.

Solid WiFi, large TV Comfy bed & pillows. Huge bathroom with double sink, large walk in shower, plenty of hot water once it's heated! Penthouse Apt on 5th floor, elevator access or 100+ stairs if your adventurous. Secure building. Close to main sights, tons of restaurants and shopping. Excellent communication with host. Living room tables are not very sturdy, can't put feet up and relax. Couch is more loveseat sized. Water heater in kitchen is very noisy when anyone uses hot water. No microwave. Looked like stove was a combo but couldn't figure out how to use it. 😂 None of these impacted our AMAZING stay! We slept like babies!! So peaceful!!
• Emma (5/5): Ok if location is what you’re looking for but it wasn’t for us - Location was great, within walking distance to everything. Comfortable seating in the lounge. Kitchen equipped with most things we needed. The beds, for us were too hard but I think this is a personal preference. The noise from the road was very loud and the walls very thin - next door had a party and our children heard every conversation/ song through the walls at 11pm. Bins seemed to be collected at 3am so sleep was quite disruptive for all of us.

O bairro é lindo, arborizado, restaurantes, lojas, mercadinho 24h, livraria, tudo extremamente perto ou direto no próprio quarteirão. O sofá muito confortável, a cozinha integrada, tudo uma delícia. O que poderia melhorar? Os quartos não são suítes. E há alguns poucos degraus para chegar ao elevador. Para pessoas com dificuldade de mobilidade isso pode ser um problema. Para nós não foi algo que causou stress.

The property stored our luggage because we arrived early in the morning, arranged a car service from the airport. The apartment was roomy, plenty of seating. Loved the balcony. Beds were awesome.

• Seiko (8/5): A large unit in a Great location - - Location and size They requested us to check in & a deposit payment few days in advance, but room was not ready when we arrived. We informed arrival between 14:30, check in 15:00-16:00, but had to wait till after 16:30. They explained it was because a cleaning staff got injured in its terrace, and that info made us uncomfortable to go into the apartment, especially the terrace, wondering how that happened. The apartment size was ample, has a large terrace located a great address. The apartment was equipped all necessities in minimum quantities. We felt interior needed updated. Also cushion covers & bed cover need to be washed to refresh.
