The laundry area is a dream! Clean, very well provisioned. Only lacking an iron. Water pressure was very good. More sofa/armchairs in living area. In a room meant for 4 pax, there were only 2 foldable sofa bed/chairs. Would have preferred firmer beds.

- Ilka (10/5): Sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt - Wir hatten eine Pool-Villa im Haupthaus, 3 Stock., im Bayhill Pool & Villa Hotel (Privatpool ca. 12 m + Whirlpool) und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage in Andeok-myeon (Seogwipo) ist traumhaft – von der Terrasse blickt man über Sagye-ri / Sanbangsan-Küste aufs Meer. Die Anlage wirkt stellenweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen (bei der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit nachvollziehbar), trotzdem war alles absolut sauber und funktionsfähig – das Housekeeping macht einen 1A-Job. Wir haben die Ruhe und Privatsphäre in der Villa sehr geschätzt. Praktisch für längere Reisen: Im Haupthaus gibt es Waschmaschinen und Trockner. In der Umgebung fanden wir mehrere stylische Brunch-Lokale, die uns sehr gefallen haben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die äußerst freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter, die uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt haben. Insgesamt fanden wir die Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung.

- ANA CARMELA (5/5): Beautiful property design, but not functional for families - The overall architecture of the villa is beautiful, with elegant lines and a tasteful interior. The sea view is lovely (though much farther from the beach than expected — not within walking distance). The private pool and indoor spa were spacious and enjoyable. The B&O Bluetooth speaker was a thoughtful luxury touch. The villa clearly needs renovation: there is rotten woodwork on the rooftop, and the Somfy curtains were misaligned or non-functional. The downstairs WC was blocked on arrival (though maintenance did respond quickly). Across all rooms, there are far too few power outlets — a hassle for a family needing to charge multiple devices. Netflix access is limited to only the main lounge TV, which was frustrating for the children. Most disappointing: the kitchen is effectively non-functional. There were no knives or frying pans at all, making it impossible to cook even a simple breakfast. We were only told this at check-in — this restriction should have been clearly stated on the listing. We managed to prepare instant noodles, but that’s far below expectations for a villa at this price point. Felt like heavy-handed attempt to boost the business of the onsite restaurant (which we found fairly utilitarian and disappointing). Suggest: - Clarify kitchen limitations in listing — and consider offering a “fully equipped kitchen” upgrade or rental kit. - Conduct a maintenance audit — especially plumbing, woodwork, and curtain controls. - Add more universal power outlets or adapters — especially near beds and tables. - Expand streaming access to bedroom TVs or offer portable streaming sticks (e.g. Roku, Chromecast). - Proactively inform guests of villa age and service limitations — better to set correct expectations.

- Susan (10/5): I'd highly recommend Bayhill Pool & Villa. - Gorgeous accommodations, just as per their description and photos. Excellent service and restaurant was high quality. The location, with our rental car, was ideal. The cost of the private pool area. The outdoor pool wasn't in operation/empty - understandable since it was just off-season (May 21st) or mechanical issues might have been the problem... but it is in their description: Bayhill Pool and Spa. Tip to Bayhill: Would've appreciated bike rentals at Bayhill to ride JeJu's "fantasy" bike trail. (fyi - There's no bike rental outfit anywhere close by and, even then, it was a hidden back-road mom/pop shop. Nobody was there and the bikes were in really bad shape).

We stayed in a modern apartment with two bedrooms and a huge terrace with jacuzzi that we loved. The employees were very friendly and helpful. It was great we could wash our clothes in the laundry room for free. You can also lend board games from the reception. The public spaces were beautiful and the restaurant quite nice. They should invest more in the gym. There was only pure cardio equipment. No weights, bands or other equipment. Also their restaurant already closed at 8pm - maybe because it was off season.

- Jane (4/5): - This hotel is supposed to be 5 star hotel. But the condition of the suite we stayed did not feel like it was. The stairs going down to the main living area including two of the bedrooms are dangerous, no railings, and inconvenient to drag luggage up and down the stairs. The bathroom door was facing the bed, there was mold smell coming from the bathroom so we had to close the door when we were sleeping, the door makes loud noise. The second bedroom light didn’t work, asked front desk, and they said they purposely keep it off?? No reason given. My husband did not feel good so I asked if there is any delivery food available and the front desk said not sure, let them know if I find anything?? The staff who drive the property drives very aggressively, many times I have seen… I have told there won’t be any notice problems but the last day we stayed, there was a kid jumping all over the place. The location is far from stores, restaurants and any public transportation. The options of the restaurants are very limited. The way to drive to the hotel is very dark so need to be really careful especially at night. We would not stay here next time, for the price we paid, I think we could have had a lot better service from the staff and a better condition place.

The hardware was great and exceeded the expectations for a vacation. The only bad thing is the strictness of the checkout. I've been around many hotels and never have I been rushed out being 5 minutes late and then promptly 10 minutes after. I know the late checkout time is our fault, but paying a premium price, how we were treated for being a bit late ruined the experience.

The Hill Suite was gorgeous and quite spacious for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable and the rooms each had their own bathrooms which made it very convenient. The staff was also very attentive and friendly. 9/10 - have already recommended the resort to our friends.

Property is tired and needs a refresh - Credit to the service staff were helpful, prompt and friendly. The location was close to some good restaurants around and the ocean view was good from the Bay suite. The pictures on the listing are not a good representation of the true condition of the property. The property was looking tired. We booked the Bay suite and the walls were stained, floors and staircase had cracks, main door and gate were completely rusty and the bathroom grouting was dirty. I was looking forward to the use of the private pool and jacuzzi but changed my mind when I saw the real condition of the room. We stayed at other properties in Jeju and for the price paid, there were much better options in Jeju.
- Andrew (6/5): - This is a great area to stay on Jeju. The photos of the property look like they were taking when the property was new. The property and surrounding landscaping, however, needs some tender, loving care. Most of the landscaping, which looks like it was designed quite nicely, had a lot of overgrowth and a lot of plants and shrubs need to be cut back, and weeding done. Interior of our villa was in pretty good shape, but some areas needed some repair (tile in bathrooms, some rust on door frame, etc.). The property condition just feels a little bit worn. The glass windows needed to be cleaned, and the bedrooms are small and not a lot of space for our suitcases. The downstairs was quite spacious. The modern living room furniture was not comfortable. Staff was great!! They even went out of their way to pick up some local fried chicken, that would not deliver to the hotel for us.
- Hu (10/5): a wonderful experience. - I liked the temperature of the swimming pool , at first when I have checked the temperature in Jeju, I have thought whether the pool needs to be heated, but when I've tried using the pool at night time 23:00 , the temperature of the pool was actually warm enough and close to temperature outside. I didn't like the location of the hotel, I and my partner were going to Udo, and it was far. Despite the location, I personally think this property is outstanding and is worth the time to stay and take a taxi to anywhere else.

- Patricia (8/5): Wonderful and very comfortable stay - my friends and I had a good time here relaxing. - I stayed here in 2016 and really liked the spacious rooms (stayed in the villa) and cleanliness of the property. Coming here again in 2024, I was not disappointed as the management had kept the property clean and well maintained. The staff are very hospital, extremely helpful with our Hallasan queries and everyone spoke really good English such that we had no communications issues. Crystal, in particular really helped us with our Hallasan queries. The outdoor facilities such as pool and jacuzzi can be better kept but I think it’s due to the sea water and rain that made keeping these facilities a challenge.

Even though there are large villas they don’t have washing/dryer machine so you have to use the laundry facility in the main building. Not practical for those staying for long periods. The area is pretty isolated and restaurants within walking distance are limited. Would highly recommend you have a rental car if u stay here.
- Raymond (10/5): Great stay, would come back - Stayed 2 nights at a bay suite in the main building. Welcome drink was freshly squeezed Jeju orange juice, full of pulp and refreshing. View overlooks the front of the hotel and towards the water. Master bedroom is on the main floor and 2nd floor is a studio-style room. There's a nice healthy dose of stairs to get to the 2nd floor. Request pool to be heated for day 1 (surcharge) and not for day 2. Water in non-heated pool on day 2 was fine for the kids (with 60 deg air temperature). If no kids, you probably won't use and don't need a room with a pool. Jacuzzi was strong and relaxing (no hot water charge for this). Breakfast at Narnia was tasty (offered 50,000 KRW) coupon with our visit which steered us towards them in the morning. Showers are plenty hot. Pleasant surprise to have complimentary water (8), soda (2), juice (4), sparkling water (2) in the fridge. There are 3 EV chargers on site (Level 1) but should have enough time to top off the car overnight. Overall had a pleasant stay and would stay here again if I were back in Jeju.

- Carl (10/5): - We stayed in the Honeymoon Villa since we were on our honeymoon. The room was amazing! Having the jacuzzi tub and private pool was very nice. They have Netflix and Disney on the TVs for when you have downtime from exploring the area. I don't travel abroad ever really and I'm from the US so experiencing the toilets with heated seats and bidet was fantastic. Staff was very nice and accommodating and spoke English well enough for us to get what we needed. I highly recommend staying here!
