- Joseph (10/5): - The hotel was very charming and the room was comfortable and large. We were a family of 4 (with two boys aged 14 and 12) and the place was big enough for all of us. There was a living room where their bed was set up, and our bedroom was separate. The decor reminded me of the rooms in the Louvre—ornate, marble, gold and burgundy. You have a sense of place here. The hairdryer, btw, is from the “olden” times. And the elevator was so cute in its size (very small) and ornate-ness. The breakfast was good. Except for the evening front desk who was rather gruff, everyone else was friendly and welcoming.

We came down the first day a little late and it was all picked over. A little crowded in the dining area but nice bakery on the street so you could skip the breakfast. Staff was nice but not overely friendly not much interaction.

- Maria (10/5): Perfect Location and Old-World Paris Charm - We had a great stay at Hotel Langlois. The location was very convenient and the room was surprisingly spacious compared to most Paris hotels. We loved the high ceilings and the beautiful Art Nouveau and Art Deco ambiance throughout the hotel. The old-fashioned elevator was a fun and unique touch. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast one morning and really enjoyed the cozy little area where it was served. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and were able to get us in our room early (after a really early arrival from the US), which was super helpful. My only recommendation would be to not include the breakfast. The space was a little small and while the food was good, there is a bakery right next door. However, coffee was great and available all day! What great memories!
- Monica (10/5): A must-stay in Paris! - I am not one to typically leave reviews, but this stay was so amazing I couldn't help it. I only booked this hotel for one night and wish we had stayed much longer. The breakfast was the best out of the 4 different stays we had in Paris, the staff was very kind to Americans like us, the room and bathroom was incredibly gorgeous and spacious, and all-around it was amazing!!! If we come back to Paris, we will be back!!!

- Chloe (10/5): Absolutely perfect experience. - Amazing hotel, great security for the whole building and the staff were extremely helpful and kind. It had original features it was like we had been transported in time the lift was like something out of a movie. The room itself was beautiful and had a vintage dresser and wardrobe, also the bed was so comfortable you didn’t want to even see Paris, the heating was phenomenal and we came back to a room that was lovely and hot from the freezing temperatures outside. The bathroom was massive and had wonderfully hot water and also having a bath is brilliant. We came back to a clean bed and towels everyday and fresh washing products. The room was extremely clean for looking that old and had a brilliant view. The location of the hotel was right next to an old church and the view out the window was phenomenal. It was also right next to great food locations and a main metro line so you could get anywhere within Paris with a couple minute walk to the station. Couldn’t recommend enough for anyone wanting an authentic Parisian experience with all the necessities of a hotel. Definitely staying the next time we come to Paris.

- Verified traveler (6/5): French Flair - Clean and Comfortable. Near Metro. - No frills but no complaints. The hotel is in a great location - lots of cafes around and very close to the Metro. It's an older hotel but the room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Staff is pleasant as well. There's a little dining room on the ground floor offering a continental breakfast but I did not purchase it.

She made great recommendations for everything from getting my glasses repaired and getting my hair done to amazing dining options - all within walking distance of the hotel. - Kevin (10/5): - Good spot. Very walkable to a lot of things of interest in Paris, and lots of Taxis and Lime bikes for travelers seeking those modes. Room was just far enough off of the main strip to be quiet, which was great. Room had a true queen size bed instead of two singles jammed together to try and make a larger bed. AC in the room was at your control, not that of the front desk, so you can get the room as cool as you like without the powers that be turning it off or up without notice. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Old world charm.

Location is very convenient, next to subway station, and short walk to Paris garnia and shopping district. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Most appreciated in a hot Parisian summer was the air conditioning which made for a very comfortable sleep. The proximity to the Metro, restaurants, shopping and Monmartre was also appreciated.

- Kevin (8/5): “Cheesy”, but in a good way - This is a very quaint and lovely small hotel in the ninth Aaron Dement of Paris. Very convenient to the Metro and nearby shopping at Galleries Lafayette. The staff was very welcoming and the availability of the coffee and hot chocolate and baked goods throughout the day was nice for a break during a busy day. The staff went above and beyond on my last night by helping me with refrigeration. While shopping I purchase some vacuum seed fresh cheese and I wanted to keep it cool overnight. The staff were welcoming enough to put it the refrigerator in their kitchen until my departure the next morning. The room was well decorated, and very Parisian feeling and made the trip even more enjoyable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our stay very much. I only have one criticism and I hate to say anything against this hotel but they could do with providing charging points for phones/computers in the rooms.
- Ross (8/5): - Hotel Langlois is a boutique hotel situated in a nice area, within walking distance to the Palais Garnier and shopping districts. There are also two Metro stations close by. The only challenge for some might be the smaller elevator. The rooms themselves are quaint and classically styled, with plenty of space. The shower was a slight challenge with the shower curtain intruding a bit, but that's only a slight annoyance. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

As well, lighting was very poor and quite dark. Staff were helpful and friendly.

- Paul (10/5): - A perfect location for a 4 night stay in Paris with the family (2 adults, 2 children). It's a charming old building (not a sterile characterless hotel chain) on a side street with friendly staff. There are multiple eating options and a mini supermarket only a short stroll away, with a metro station on the corner. We always felt safe walking home at night. Our room was clean, warm (too warm without the a/c on!) spacious (2 separate rooms) and although the street outside could be slightly noisy in the morning (vehicle noise), it wasn't a major issue - it was quite quiet at night. Would recommend.

The water was hot, the Internet was good. The bed comfortable and the view from the 6th floor outstanding. Very glad I stayed.

- John (10/5): Worth staying for location - Love the heritage feel of Hotel Langlois proper to the area. Big room although dated and floors squeak somewhat. Room with character. Flushing noise through bathroom pipe might annoy guests. Cannot beat the location next to Saint Lazare 14 Metro Line and 10 minutes walk to Gare Saint Lazare and Galleries Lagayette

- Kaustabh (10/5): Great hotel, well sized room and bath with a great - We had a great stay at this hotel on our recent trip. The hotel room was good sized for 3 people with an extra sofabed. They converted the sofa into a comfy bed not the typical pull out sofabed. Room has a large armoire and a non-working fireplace. The bath had a oil based heater that kept the rooms heated up nicely. So much so that we had to open the window a tad to cool it down. Location is excellent with easy walk to shopping, metro, Sacre Coer, Gustav Moreau museum. A coffee station is available at all times. Breakfast has surcharge and has a fair selection of options. Lift is very small so expect to take large luggage by stair.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great find - We stayed here for 3 nights, and found the hotel quite charming in a safe and bustling neighborhood. The room was super clean, even if it was a bit on the small side. I broke my arm on day one, and the staff went out of their way to assist in any way they could. They found me several extra pillows to prop my arm and back. They found us a taxi to the train station when we had given up.

Even though it is "old-worldly ,everything is functioning in a modern way- water pressure is strong, has AC, bathroom is large, etc. In a quiet and safe neighborhood. Has a restaurant nearby that's open from 12 PM (I think) to 2 AM. Has brassierie 1 minute down the hotel and train station is a 2 minute walk.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Service Above and Beyond - Hotel Langlois proved to be a wonderful experience. The property is charming, well located and rooms well appointed. During our stay my wife took ill -- nothing serious, but the gentleman at the front desk was able to get a doctor to come to our room within 60 minutes of making the call. Thank you!

- Caroline (8/5): Great find in a good location. - A very charming hotel with great reception staff. Yes, the decor is dated, but my room was very comfortable and clean, the shower was hot and the air con worked efficiently. If I were forced to find any cause for complaint it was that the curtains didn't meet. But this was rectified by dropping the blind that was outside the window. I didn't take breakfast in the hotel so can't comment, but the location of thia hotel is great. 20 minute walk from Gare du Nord (for Eurostar), and a 2 min walk from plenty of reasonably priced bars and restaurants and the Metro station. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

- Laura (10/5): An excellent hotel close to metro - This was one of my favourite hotel stays. Hotel Langlois is very charming, with tons of Parisian character. It was surprisingly spacious with two separate rooms for kids and parents. I loved that the rooms, hallways and reception were decorated with original paintings. Everything was just beautiful. The location was excellent - a very short walk to metro with an excellent bakery for coffee and breakfast on the way. I would definitely stay here again.

- Tamas Laszlo (8/5): Nice and comfortable hotel in the city centre. - The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I could sleep well. I noticed only two strange thing during my stay, the bath plug was removed from the bath, preventing people to have a bath instead of a shower and I neither could find the TV remote controller in the room.
- stacy (10/5): Fantastic boutique hotel, so cute! - We had a lovely stay at this hotel, myself and my husband. It's has that old Parisian vibe to it which is just lovely. Breakfast is continental, very simple but good enough. The breakfast lady - I didn't get her name - was so lovely. She couldn't do enough for you in the morning. The freshly squeezed orange juice was AMAZING. The lift looks a little scary (but beautiful!) at first but is fine. We stayed in room 43, it was a street facing room that was quite big. The hotel is next to the metro so everywhere is accessible. If we came to Paris again we would 100% stay here.

- roger (6/5): Needs some work!!!! - the bathroom door wouldn't close I asked to have it fixed but in the six nights we stayed it was never fixed. Also I asked for tissue and the person at the front desk said he didn't know where it was kept. The air conditioner didn't work (low on Freon). We asked the front desk to reserve us a Taxi, instead his friend who is an Uber driver picked us up. Nice guy but we specifically asked for a Taxi. The room is in need of a thorough cleaning!
