- 360amyo (10/5): Great Staff and great service - I love this hotel. The Staff is what make it 5 star. They are so professional with their guest. But most of all they are KIND! I feel welcomed every time I stay here. Each staff member says hello from the front desk to the maintenance crew. No matter the time of day or night I’ve been greeted with a smile and a welcome. It’s the small things that make me smile when I enter my room, like a welcome letter to a piece of chocolate. Or the temperature set appropriately for the weather outside. No matter my question they are willing to help find my answer. The employees seem to really enjoy each other and that shows in the dedication they have for their job. Most of all thank you it isn’t said near enough

- Todd (2/5): - At check-in a heavy set lady with dyed blonde hair kept telling me my card was not working. I told her in was prepaid. Then she said oh well run your card for $10.00 incidentals. At 11:30pm I received an outside call from her confederate attempting to get my card credit card number but did not know my name despite repeated requests. I put two and two together and filed a complaint with FCSO. If she is on duty be extra careful

- Wendi (4/5): - The front desk lady who checked me in was very nice. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not as expected. There were waffles and juice. No knives to cut bagels or cream cheese, no eggs or bacon, and on our last day, no forks, to go coffee cups, and many other standard expectations. The excuse given was that they didn't get their delivery. Also, no bottled water the whole time we were there.

- Kim (4/5): - The bed was terrible, you could feel every movement, the breakfast at the hotel was not well maintained the food that was available was fine but you had to wait or ask for waffle mix, sausage, coffee, plates, utensils. There appeared to be only 1 person staffing on a weekend morning. The pool was freezing. Maintained of the suite but bathroom was poor, appears no cleaning under the handle of the shower so it was stained and dirty, the towels in the room had a large hole in it and behind the door was missing and was not with in the room so assuming they had removed it previously. We have stayed with this brand before and expected much better then was recieved.
- jgitcar (8/5): Convenient to I-95 Travel - Stopped in with my family of 5 while traveling to Orlando. Hotel was close and convenient to the highway. Room was spacious enough for us. Kitchen amenities were there, but not needed. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure decent. Hotel breakfast was good but crowded. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our first room had a bad TV, and we got moved immediately with no issues. But in the evening, they appeared to be understaffed. Great hotel. Seriously considering for our return home trip.
- grayandassociates (10/5): Williams Family Reunion at the Florence Center - Had a wonderful experience with this establishment. We had out Williams Family Reunion at the Florence Center & we booked this hotel as it was in walking distance to the Florence Center, the front desk was amazing with our rooming request, we had wonderful interactions with all the staff, the GM "Mo" was amazing, when he told us his position we were surprised he was at the front desk checking us in we normally don't get that and it was a treat. The rooms were very clean, and the explanation of how to get linen and room service was explained at the front desk, and we were also reminded that it's on the mirror in the restrooms. Overall, we had a 5* experience & will be back.

- C.B. (4/5): - Our first room had a sodden carpet due to a leaking air conditioner. Second room...same issue. The young lady at the front desk blatantly told us she didn't care because she wasn't going to be working there any more. Our third room -- at 11 pm -- was okay. We will not be staying here again.
- hfujohn (4/5): Look elsewhere - I visited this hotel twice with family over the last month. It served its purpose (barely) of an overnight stop on a long drive. On our first trip the bathroom wasn’t cleaned and the wrong sheets were on the bed. I was told there are no other rooms and was handed a stack of the proper sheets. On the second night the room smelled horribly of cat urine. There was also someone working on the elevator who I had just observed smoking weed outside the hotel. I did not ask for a new room. Breakfast was barely passable. It looks like it’s set up at 6 am and not touched until it closes. We ate around 9 and most items were empty. Parking is also odd. There are not many spots out front and trucks park wherever out back taking up many spots leaving guests to fend for themselves elsewhere.

- sixgunkitty (4/5): Horrible front desk treatment - I was treated absolutely horribly at check in. The clerk was incredibly rude. My husband and l have been Hilton Honors members for over 20 years and never ever had a problem. She would not check me in until my husband called on some hotline, even though l got him on my cell phone. She waved it away in my face and spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner. She exhibited behavior l construed as racist. The manager was very nice and helped me get my keys because l absolutely refused to deal with that vicious woman again. The room was clean and nice but it did not make up for the way l was treated. Never stay there again.

So the maintenance guy who was awesome spent a some time fixing it while we stood in the hall for 30 min at midnight after driving 9 hours. No sheets on the fold out then was told they didn’t have sheets to watch someone else get handed sheets and a blanket. Breakfast area was very messy and not very good. But the breakfast attendant was amazing a she did a great job doing what she could by herself. Felt bad she was on her own. Do not recommend.

Price is ridiculously high for what was delivered. The gym was decent. The location is good. If you like Hilton, choose the Hampton Inn.
- dmgres03 (10/5): Great Stay - Breakfast needs attention - We have utilized Hilton properties during our many road trips back and forth Long Island to the Villages, Florida. This setup worked great for us. We usually travel with much of our food from home, consequently the studio kitchen and larger fridge to keep our food overnight and the freezer to refreeze the chill packs. The property was clean, well kept and accommodating. The breakfast left a great deal to be desired. Many Hilton properties, including the Hampton inn in Salisbury MD, the following night offered a much more appealing breakfast. Am sorry I didn’t take pictures. The oatmeal was likening to hardening plaster of Paris (if the attendant simply checked it and added some milk it would have been better. The eggs were fanned in a horizontal row (looking like they were to be placed on an egg McMuffin) and cold. The sliced sausage (I assume they were sausage, my husband wasn’t sure) maybe it was potato or fried cardboard. We like accommodations that offer free breakfast. The breakfast doesn’t need to be gourmet, but something palatable.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Disappointing - I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathroom. The staff obviously doesn’t pay attention to detail. The corners of the shower are dirty, there’s grime around the shower and sink faucets, the mirror wasn’t clean and the sink overflow hole was filthy. I would not stay here again or recommend this specific location.
- Isaiah (10/5): Great Place to stay - The hotel was clean and well kept. It is a newer hotel. Front desk staff was hard working on a very busy weekend with multiple event in the area. Manager worked hard to support his staff and make sure guests were supported. There was a slight issue with a room being ready at check in. When the manager saw us sitting he approached us and asked what the issue was. He quickly went over to the desk and worked with his staff to correct the issue. I will stay here again.

- Cathy (6/5): Hidden Pet fee not in policies - This hotel is nice, it’s clean and comfortable. However, the pet policy did not mention an additional fee. It is one of the more expensive properties in the area when you are just looking for a travel stopover. Traveling with pets and finding one where the fee is included (like a Kimpton) was ideal. Upon check in I had to pay an additional 85 dollars for my small dog to stay too. I showed the policy page to the reception desk who would not provide any resolution or even able to explain why this fee is not written anywhere. The other area hotels with similar amenities clearly state the added fees if any. For this reason I probably will not stay again at this one.

- Logan (6/5): OK Option for Laid Back Travelers - Location was great and staff was friendly, but the room left something to be desired. We were on property for just 12 hours as a roadtrip stopover, and we agreed that the room was fine enough for that amount of time only. Surfaces were clean but nooks/crannies/corners were not. There were someone flecks of something on a towel or two. The TV had no reception and the AC rattled all night long. We could hear everything through the walls… All to say, we didn’t walk in and right back out—but we will pick differently next time.
- Brad (4/5): - Turns out paying extra for a Hilton hotel doesn’t keep out the rif-raf. The room wasn’t the cleanest, the dishes were dirty, the sink drain above the garbage disposal was gross and has stuff growing in it, the floor had other people’s food left on it, and the shower was a little dirty. And the neighbors were insanely loud. We didn’t sleep much at all. It certainly wasn’t restful after a 9 hour drive

- George (2/5): Never book Homewood Suites Florence through Hotels - Im upset with Home2Suites and Hotels.com. Home2Suites gave us a room that was not cleaned. Because we booked through a hotels.com they couldnt rebook us to a clean room. Hotels.com rep could not give us a refund since it was the day of the booking, despite that I was not canceling the booking, only needed to switch to a clean room. It was 1AM so I had to pay for another room. Im disgusted with the service of both entities and want my refund.

There were a couple of basic items but no fruit at all and the toaster was broken. The service and staff was just ok and overall no one really seemed to care or be interested in the guests. I might expect that from some budget hotels but not from a Home2suites.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Stayed once, paid twice. - The majority of the staff I interacted with while there weren’t the best. When I arrived I was charged a second time for the full price of the room even though I informed them I had already paid through hotels.com. The woman at the desk told me it was just a hold on the room (which I thought was different than a usual hold) and it would be gone after check out. The next morning I noticed I had indeed paid for the room from hotels.com and it had already been withdrawn from my account AND so had the charge she made the night before. When I spoke to the new woman at the desk that morning, who I felt like I was bothering her by her attitude, she insured me the charge would be lifted by my card in a day or so. I traveled back home and a few days later found that this wasn’t the case. The most helpful person was another woman I spoke to on the phone a few days later who refunded the charge with no issue. But the fact I had to push for the second charge to be returned, definitely put me off. So if you book this hotel through Hotels.com, be extra careful this doesn’t happen to you. Morning staff seemed generally sparse, the breakfast station offered was a complete mess and, while yes it’s “complimentary”, was also just as sparse in selections. Most plates/cups in room weren’t cleaned very well. Expected better of this hotel brand.
- 93armandon (2/5): Worst Homewood suite ever - Worst hotel experience ever ,our key did not work to our room ,keys were replaced 3 times ,still couldn't get in ,clerk came up with master key ,still no entrance to our room ,she gave use anther room ,which was already occupied, then another room which was also occupied, an hour later we had to settle for a room with one bed and a pull out sofa , the room was dirty, the shower still had hair in it ,the shampoo dispenser was empty, the sheets on the pull out sofa had a bunch of blood stains on them , microwave was dirty ,and dishes were put away with dirty dryed food on them ,to say the least

- Janai (6/5): - This was an amazing stay for the most part. Breakfast and the nearby restaurants and shopping is amazing, however the room we stayed in was poorly cleaned. There were soda stains on the floor, the trash wasn’t taken out from the previous family, the water pressure in the shower was mad low and the shower had hair and slight mold in the glass sliding doors. In my opinion all avoidable if the someone took the time to clean properly. Other than that, amazing!

The only thing I did not like was the ceiling had areas that we assumed were from water damage. We did call the front desk to let them know but the hotel was full and we couldn’t get another room. We kept assessing the area throughout the night so we concluded that it was probably an area that maintenance painted over. Overall the hotel was nice and quiet. I enjoyed my stay.

Now a week later I have to hunt down the manager because I was charged again for the stay at check-in. Not to mention that I was given an already occupied room at check-in for which my family and I walked in on. Please avoid the headache and STAY ELSEWHERE
