Guest Reviews
- Marilyn (1/5): Terrible - Location Smell in the hallway smelled like cat urine. Smell inside the room was fresh paint and cat urine. AC went out for about two hours first night woke up because of how hot it was and no back up generators but others locations around us had generators. There was no storm that night either, staff just advised FPL issue.

- Seqoya (1/5): Worst experience ever - Nothing. Was horrible I couldn’t even stay there too many bugs and roaches big ones as that. Had to check out less than 30 minutes of checking in and it course they denied my refund but my bank is in the process of disputing the charges. I’m glad I took pictures Dirty towels and covers. Ac wasn’t working
- Andrew (5/5): -
- Raymond (1/5): Used to stay here a lot but this is the last time - Nothing Bedroom sheets where so disgusting . Like somebody just flip them around, bathroom shower had water coming out almost to the room and had to dry it myself
I paud extra for a one king bed and fot a two bed in which you feel like your sinking and had to sleep on the edges of the bes, the actual room door wouldnt closed and had to push it hard bc it was getting stuck , cant walk bare foot bc the floor felt like it had glue or something that felt like itqne to finish this off with a bang theres hardly any breakfast other than fruitloops and bread, let me not forget that coffee tastes like they use water from a toilet and im not exhagerating
- Luis (1/5): A disaster!! - the worst breakfast i ever had in a hotel, no eggs in any ways, no bacon, no sausages, only old breads with black coffee and old bananas, terrible, have to leave and go had breakfast somewhere else. as said before, a serious hotel cannot offer their guest a breakfast that bad, plus the angry attitude of the guy who was at the front desk at the check-in, I guess his name was Alex, our check-in was late because we were at the Cleveland Clinic with our daughter in the labor section, and got there at 2am on Thursday, he give us a different room that what I booked and paid in advance for, no way I can't go look for another hotel at that time/date and this hotel took advantage of us, he gave us a single room!!, with a one queen bed, the most uncomfortable stay, next day I tried to cancel to go another hotel and he told us I cannot cancel regardless of him giving us the wrong room, the 124, when the guy that was taking the shift told him the room it was booked and reserved for me was the 134, a 2 Queen bed room, he was surprised; at the end my wife didn't want to create a problem because he called the police in another guests that were complaining at the same time, and we decided to move to the right room, the 134, and finish the 2 night's stay there; I will claim the money back, at least for the first night he made us stay at the wrong 124 room, to our credit card company.
- Regina (1/5): DID NOT STAY THERE MORE THAN 45MIN AND CHECKED OUT STILL WAITING FOR MY FULL REFUND!!!!!!!!!! - NOT ONE THING EVERYTHING

- shanepatrick0425 (2/5): The Case of the Missing Apple Watch - The Case of The Missing Apple Watch and my experience with Choice Hotels MainStay Sleep Inn PGA Village .
I checked into the hotel with a watch.
I did not check out with a watch.
Despite the title, this is not a mystery novel. There is no locked room, no international jewel thief, no fog rolling in off the Atlantic. This is a story about modern corporate reality, where responsibility is like a bar of soap, everyone has touched it, but no one is holding it.
Here’s what happened.
Due to a minor internal mix-up, the hotel decided my room was no longer my room, even though it still had all my stuff in it. My belongings were removed by staff. Not stolen. Not cleaned. Just… relocated. Like witnesses in a federal case.
Later, the staff very kindly brought my things to me: a backpack, a suitcase, and a trash bag of clothes. Nothing says “hospitality” like your wardrobe arriving in a Hefty bag. I did a quick check, laptop, iPad, good. Watch? I assumed it was still doing watch things.
The next morning, the watch was gone.
I reported it. Calmly. Politely. Like a man who still believed in systems.
At first, I was told I didn’t have a watch. Bold strategy. Then I was told it wasn’t their responsibility. Which was interesting, because the watch went missing during the exact window of time when my property was not in my possession but very much in theirs.
This is where the real comedy begins.
Corporate says, “That’s a property issue.”
The property says, “That’s a corporate issue.”
I imagine my watch sitting somewhere in the building, listening to this, realizing it has achieved bureaucratic invisibility. It exists, but only theoretically.
I asked simple questions:
• Was an inventory made when my belongings were removed?
• Who handled my property?
• Where was it stored?
• Is there camera footage?
These questions did not upset anyone. They simply… floated. Like balloons released into the Florida sky, never to be seen again.
To be clear, I’m not alleging a crime. I’m alleging absurdity.
At no point did anyone say, “Here’s what happened.”
Instead, I got the corporate equivalent of jazz hands.
Somewhere between the room, the hallway, the storage area, and the great void between “corporate” and “property,” my watch entered witness protection.
If you see it, tell it I miss it.
And tell it corporate is still on the line with the property.
Still a great trip seeing my daughter, son in law and their kids!

- Warren (7/5): - Price and convenience of location Advertised breakfast but waffles oatmeal and cereal were only options. Bananas were old and coffee machine was broken and pot of replacement coffee was cold plus when these items ran out had to go to front desk as their was nobody overseeing the breakfast area..kind of a letdown. Maybe would be a good idea to advertise close breakfast places or make a better effort
- Salina (3/5): My room was not clean at all, the whole place was messy and not clean. Would never come back again. - N/a It was dirty and had a very musky smell.
- Regina (10/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): -
- Rogelio (4/5): - The location is excellent and convenient. The value is very good for the area and room size. The parking is adequate and seems secure. The room had bugs and smelled like mold or mildew. The bathroom / shower area was not clean. The bed while made up, had an strange odor
- Mark (2/5): - Reserved online given and paid for in advance then get charged an extra 50 bucks that in the 30 or so times I have stayed here I’d never been charged that before. Then get to my room beds not changed coffee pods everywhere and room stinks of mold and mildew. Will I come back? Probably not after this trip I’ll pay the higher prices for better rooms
- Shaundrell (1/5): The place is absolutely disgusting. - Nothing My room was switched into something I didn’t book, when I arrived in my room the bed wasn’t made and roaches were crawling all over the wall. Went to the lobby to inform Ryan the hotel staff at the front desk. He then went to see can he change my room and came back to say the room isn’t suitable for no one to stay in so I had to look for another hotel room at 2 o’clock in the morning.
- Sheena (1/5): smelled bad - The room smelled old and mildew, dirty room floor ,mold or mildew in bathroom shower ,fire alarm hanging from ceiling
- Sheelove (2/5): - Is staying at the hotel for 5 days not one days the coming to clean day home it’s was discusting I was have to do my trash by myself not recommend it just for that reason
- Brandy (7/5): -
- Morgan (5/5): -
- Knowles (4/5): will not stay again - The only pros were the beds were comfy and the location was good. The first room we were given smelt very moldy, they moved us which was better.
The tv channels did not work the first night, they fixed it the following day. the night shift lady was very unhelpful, slightly rude
no hot water in the shower, just barely warm. front desk said the heater was broken.
no replacement towels after 3 days, was given beach towels instead
breakfast selection was disappointing
- Dallis (8/5): Great stay - The staff was extremely accommodating and the room was great for the price.
- Elysee (6/5): -
- Holdine Dina (10/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - I just didn’t like the man Mario keep knocking at n my door at 8 and check out was 11 and made me and my babies feel uncomfortable
- George Ian (4/5): - Walls are paper, thin, don’t think you’re gonna have a nice intimate night with your special someone and not hear people complain on the other side of the wall!
- Pedro (2/5): You get what you pay for. Thats real. - Stay away from this one! Not a nice thing to say about it. Took me about an hour to check in, Moldy smelling rooms (I was in 4 of them before I finally settled in) a manager that doesn’t care about the guests and does not respond to calls, cleaning people who are careless about your belongings, druggy long term residents, all around disgusted and dissatisfied. Zero stars.
- Jonathan (1/5): Don't do it - The staff The cockroaches, the stench, drains, toilet, shower didn't work. It's the nastiest place I've ever stayed in my life!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was great. Except the toilet made a sound every time it was used and it stopped working in the middle of night. I did go to the office and they provided me a plunger.
- jarell (1/5): Their policy buying rooms suck - It’s cool not the best They don’t give option to pay at hotel they charge u before letting u pay with money and if they can’t charge u thru cancel ur reservation horse shit
- Susan (4/5): - First time at this hotel
Initially pleased with it.
Staff was very nice and accommodating.
But shampoo was empty in the shower, no lids for coffee and a cockroach crawled on the breakfast counter this morning.
- carlton (8/5): - Great value!
- Eliza (1/5): Worst experience ever!!!! - Location Rooms weren’t cleaned, bugs everywhere including my bed, window sills had mold, shower didn’t get hot and had hair on walls.
- Walter (10/5): -
- Pierre (7/5): -
- Angel (10/5): -
- Rob (4/5): - They basically don’t have any Internet many times I had to go up near the front desk to get some kind of Internet. The bathroom toilet makes noise whoever owns this place is a horrible owner and should be reported. Roaches in the breakfast area I could keep going, but I don’t have the time. The people that work there were very nice.
- Steve (6/5): A roof over head. - Location good for my stay.
Breakfast spartan.
Staff not always available. Simple breakfast.
Could have easily expanded
- Walker (9/5): -
- Yessica (4/5): Awful - Bathroom was dirty had pee all over the seat and floor
- Mark (10/5): - Staff were great except the overnight woman she acted like I disturbed her when I came to the counter for a soda and snack no smiles no hi no nothing but a mean face next time I’ll avoid the counter
- Sheila (4/5): Location isn’t everything!! - Really good location The rooms were pretty gross! Shower doors didn’t close properly and the rooms were smelly.
- Gerald (10/5): - Nice and convenient.
- Elysee (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cleis (8/5): - The staff was very nice and helpful, it was a great value for the price, kind of “bare bones”, the shower wasn’t very clean, I hopped back out! The bed was fabulous! Breakfast was so-so, not everything was available that usually is in this type of breakfast.
- Hall (10/5): Love breakfast - The service was good Nothing
- Holdine (8/5): Very good -
- Danielle (10/5): - Great time plan on staying there each visit nice to see rabbits run around at night so peaceful
- Glen (3/5): Lesson learned - Bed. Weak A/C unit / toilet ran all night / shower light was like a strobe light / mold & rust in shower/no TV remote , had to ask/ and last straw was dirty microwave. went to check another room and it wasn't any better so I just stayed overnight .I would never go back!
- Chatain (8/5): Very good -
- Sonji (3/5): Poor - I liked nothing about this hotel. I did not know that you could ever get a step below, poverty. I was shocked because this hotel is located in a beautiful area in the Port St. Lucie area, but the actual hotel room, the cleanliness, reminded me of being in poverty. Everything. My beds had stains on them. The shower look like something from a prison documentary. They need to seriously consider doing a remodeling to this hotel, especially due to the area that it is located in. The sheets has stains on them, and I was absolutely blown away. When I picked up the remote control there were dried pieces of chocolate that I had to take a wipe and wipe off. I don’t know if sleeping in my car probably would’ve been better than sleeping in this hotel. While I think that the hotel is reasonably priced, the room was just not clean. Filthy, disgusting, and nasty. Yikes!
- Manuel (4/5): Never going back, door left open by staff - I left for work at 7am, lights off/door closed. When I returned to room 13 hours later, door was open with the U lock propping door open, room service did not touch room except maybe to remove all beverages I had purchased and left in fridge (one soda and yogurt were left on counter ( maybe it was another guest as the room was left open, lights on, without remotely being turned over.
- Davis (8/5): Very good -
- Ortiz (1/5): I stayed long enough to shower and left within 45 minutes due to being pissed off by the hotel - The price I have stayed at this hotel several times and have never had to give a credit card to "ensure the room wasn't damaged" according to a new rule imposed the day before my last stay and I do mean MY LAST STAY. There is no signage about this new fee in the hotel or on any of the booking websites. This new practice just cost me as a customer, and I will gladly post this negative experience on every social media website known in order to keep people away
- Mark (4/5): - Room smelled of mold the ac was off when I entered the in bath soap was empty no courtesy bar of soap on the sink and the hallway smelled of pot after 10pm nice laundry so so breakfast great staff
- Franco (1/5): Very disappointed with hotel - I made the reservation, paid, we arrived at 3:00 am, the receptionist didn't let us in, he said we should have arrived earlier, if I reserved and paid, I can arrive whenever I want. I called this morning to complain, the attendant said he won't refund my money, I didn't use it, why do I have to pay?
- Mi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ortiz (10/5): Always my go to when in Port St. Lucie - The value and the hotel cleanliness make this a 5 star stay the fact I could only stay for one day
- Phil (2/5): All I need is a shower and a bed to have a comfortable night of sleep. This hotel misses the mark. - The staff at the front desk were nice and the hotel was generally clean. The hotel is built with very thin walls. I could hear the gentleman next door talking to his wife on the phone - he was not talking loud. And he woke me up around 11:15 with his snoring. Folks across the hall - I could hear them having a conversation with their door closed.
The shower I was in (room 129) has mold growing around the top of the shower casement.
The toilet did not flush - I contacted front desk but no one responded.
- Branson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (2/5): WORST STAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Staff needs proper training and the bathroom was nasty. When I went to the front desk to complain, there was no apology just an attitude.. The only response I got was your money will be refunded back to your card. I then responded so what I am I to do at this point, sleep in my car? His response then was, well I don’t have anyone to clean it.
At this point I was furious, I was traveling with my mom who has challenges and we’ve been driving for 3hrs and it’s pouring outside. He then blew off and with an attitude, he then said, I’ll do it myself. At no time did he offer an apology. I left the hotel in the pouring rain furious as I was not about to wait around in the lobby (of course I got drenched from running in the rain and paid for it the next two weeks by getting sick) but I had to. I got back to room a fews hours later and the bathroom was touched but still not properly cleaned and the vanity area was NOT TOUCHED AT ALL. There were still stains on the mirror and sink, the toilet was dirty( not sure if I’ll be able to upload)... it was disgusting. There were roaches in different areas of the room, both dead and alive.
There were visible wear and tear in the room, the walls were peeling, towels missing ( it was clear that the room was not touched from the last guest). The bed had stains and residue on the bed, the lamp shades were stained and torn. There was a huge gap at the bottom of the door (1st flr). I ha ve never experienced anything like this. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
- Davis (7/5): Good -
- JOHN (6/5): - Phone, clock not working. Toliet not working correctly. Carpets all over need cleaning. Breakfast was very lacking.
- Blanc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chatain (1/5): Bad -
- Lopez (7/5): Good -
- Arthur (1/5): Bad -
- Dr. Stephen J. (10/5): - very nice
- Del (1/5): Bad -
