- Anna (9/5): Perfect stay in Townsville - The staff at Beach House Motel has been very nice and helpful. They offered us some great help regarding Magnetic Island visits. Our rooms were nice, clean and provided everything we needed. In a few minutes walk you can find many restaurants and food options so we also really liked the location. I will recommend it even more as it is a family run motel and not some big chain and they really tried to do their best :-) We would definitely book it again. Everything was great!

Room service was offered during our two night stay although we didn't need anything as the twin room was very well supplied. Great blinds, secure doors and windows and comfortable beds all made for an excellent sleep. Located in easy walk of a variety of eateries. We'll definitely be back. Help them out and ook directly.

Townsville was a bustling vibrant town with a selection of bars and restaurants . Good car parking. 20min stroll the ferry terminal to magnetic island

The hotel was reasonably priced and clean. The hotel has been renovated but very cheaply and quickly. The rooms are tiny, much smaller than the photos would lead you to believe. The swimming pool is minuscule.

- lanceloty2026 (8/5): Great base for Townsville - The Beach House Motel is centrally located on the busy Strand in Townsville centrally located to bars and restaurants. There is offsite parking. The room is basic but has both fans and airconditioning which was welcomed. It does the role for a one or two night basic stay. The owner/proprietor was a very nice lady who explained things to do and the wifi password. If you intending to just stay in, maybe something a bit fancier will do but if you're like me and like to go out and about and use the motel as a base, this place is perfect. I highly recommend for price and convenience.
