We rented the suite with bunk beds and it’s not inside the hotel so we felt that we weren’t really included within the hotel. There was a dirt road we had to walk by to get to it. They should try to make the suites feel more part of the hotel and not an afterthought addition which is why I have it a 4 out or 5. But this place has many pros like a very private pool for the suites apart from the hotel pool although it doesn’t have any views. I would say if you come in a group or with a family and don’t care about the views of the main pool the suite would be the best place to stay. Great bang for your buck. You can also easily go to the main pool by walking across the street. They do have great hotel amenities like a spa where you can get massages for a fee. they free yoga, free meditation classes and free horseback riding which is nice.

• Katrina (10/5): - Mizata was a perfect retreat for the end of my travels in El Salvador. Beautiful property for guests staying overnight alongside the popular Nawi Beach Club. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The jungle bungalow was very clean and spacious. I wished I could stay longer.

Original room we booked had a leak in It and wasn't notified until hours after arriving and relaxing on property, they wanted us to downgrade and be credited the difference while offering massages as a courtesy, instead we upgraded. The upgrade was magnificent until later that evening when It became windy and the gust of window knocked our door in and came off the hinges. We were then moved to another room minutes into getting ready for dinner, got to the new room but was met with droplets for water pressure. Yes the hotel accommodated us and had maintenance get us a new shower head with better pressure but It delayed our dinner reservation. Would I stay here again? Hell yeah. The property is amazing, quiet during the week, lively on the weekends with a DJ. The 9 course omakasa experience was truly delightful please book this,they have a 7course option as well. Although I experienced different challenges, the staff was friendly, accommodating and worked hard! So many places to capture good content if that's your thing!

I reserved 2 months prior to traveling and they couldn’t find my reservation despite emails from Mizata welcoming 3 days prior to check in. The hotel is for adults but Expedia did not list it as adults only, my reservation listed my kids and their ages. My rental car was scratched while parked on property. Food was great, bartenders and servers where really nice and helpful. Despite the confusion and the waiting around we were able to enjoy the hotel, hotel room was nice and clean and we were able to enjoyed the pool across from Nawi beach house all to ourselves since everyone was at the bar and beach side pools. We didn’t end up staying the night due to personal decisions but our room and beds were really comfortable.

• Breanna (4/5): - Title: Extremely Disappointing Stay at Mizata – Not as Advertised I booked our stay at Mizata a month in advance, excited about the beautiful accommodations shown in the ads. Unfortunately, the room we were provided was nothing like what was advertised. The room was infested with an overwhelming number of bugs. They were everywhere—on the ceiling, in the bed, and even on the pillows. It was impossible to sleep comfortably, especially since my boyfriend doesn’t handle insects well. When I reported the issue, the only solution offered was a can of Off, which did little to address the problem as the bugs were biting and flying around incessantly. Although the resort did try to accommodate us by moving us to a different room for one of the four nights we stayed, which was significantly better and bug-free, this hardly made up for the discomfort we experienced. The initial room appeared to be an “overflow/employee” room, not even attached to the main part of the resort. It lacked basic security as the balcony door wouldn’t lock or close properly, leaving us feeling unsafe, especially with no security presence on that side of the property. Additionally, the A/C barely worked in the main room, making the stay even more uncomfortable. During a severe storm on our final night, the pathways flooded with minimal lighting, unlike the well-maintained, raised, and lit pathways in the main resort area. This further highlighted how neglected and substandard our room was compared to what was

• Werther (6/5): Eh. - We did an impromptu trip and decided to stay here for a couple of nights. We left one night early and forfeited the wildly overpriced $250 for the night. The hotel has lots of potential but they don’t know their identity and brand yet. The pictures lead one to believe it’s this zen type of place. We wanted to have some drinks at the pool, read, and relax. The morning had this vibe. By about 2pm the music started blaring this horrendous Mexican music that you would expect in a bad club in Central America but not by a pool. My wife and I left the pool bc it was so bad. We met 6 other tourists that did the same. These are all people that paid money to stay at the hotel but the place is overrun with people buying day passes. Then there is the room. We ended up getting this “suite” but it was anything but. It had bunk beds, was removed from the hotel, had one electrical outlet, no nightstands, and was just a mattress pressed up against a wall. Considering this is one of the most expensive hotels on the country, and the fact that they are trying to be a high end hotel, you wouldn’t expect them to be renting a converted hostel room to guests especially at $250/night. Both pools were absolutely disgusting with murky water. Nothing to do after the sun goes down either. Definitely no need to come back as there are so many better places in Central America. I will say that the staff bringing food and the omakase were wonderful.

• Anthony (10/5): Straight out of a movie - Hotel is beautiful. The tree houses itself it's just an experience. They offer free yoga classes, sauna, outdoor gym and a cold plunge. They also have 9 peacocks living in the area. They are so beautiful to watch when you walk around the facility and on top of that you have access to the NAWI beach club. Beautiful pool, sunset views, good food and drinks.

Firstly treehouse are nice but be aware, as aesthetic as it looks you can hear trucks on the highway at night. Now imagine if you were spending that night in that tree house and there is wedding DJ and fireworks going on in the resort few hundred feet’s away from your room at 11pm. No management won’t do anything but offer you to move to another noisy room or just bear with it attitude. This place has lots of potential but management needs to improve, if not it’s not worth it. Restaurant food is okay, poor selection. Plunge pool was dirty. Free meditation and yoga class was huge plus.

• Shital (2/5): - The property is really nice perched between magnificent volcano and Pacific Ocean but huge disappointment with management. There was a problem with the door to the room, which was fixed next morning, we understand this part. But this property had a wedding during our stay here where everything started falling apart. I wish if we were informed about private event at the resort ahead of time, we would not have booked this place. Our relaxation turned into absolute chaos. The wedding DJ went till late and if I can only upload the how loud was the sound in our room. When we brought this to management attention they said the music is going until 11pm to midnight and the only thing they could do for us is let us sleep in another room, here goes the relaxation out the door. I am not against hosting wedding in a resort, but hosting a private event in the resort should not limit rest of the resort guests from using amenities or loosing sleep and sanity. I would not recommend this resort to anyone just because of poor management.

• Cecilia (8/5): - Mizata is like the VIP section for the Nawi Beach House. The better pool , bar, and restaurant are all on the Nawi Beach House which other people can use by just buying a day pass. The pool on the Mizata side leaves much to be desired in terms of amenities, view and service. I stayed at a Jungle Tree House and the room was very nice. However, I found service to be a bit lacking for a property like this. It is also the first time staff refuses to give me an extra towel so that was dissappointing. THe resort is actually in a little town.

Not much to do around the resort but they do offer daily activities/trips…..if you’re only staying for 2-3 days there is really no reason to leave.

The set up is beautiful, perfect for social media posts. The only thing lacking was a lively atmosphere. Now if you’re here to escape and relax this is the place. Secluded and about 45mins from the local hotspot of El Tunco. Staff are nice but sometimes service took awhile. When booking know that it isn’t very commute friendly or near much. There is a small restaurant up the street that sells pupsas since the restaurant is more Westernized. I’d love to return and just solely spend time to utilize the amenities without all the long hours of tours.

• Ytan (4/5): - When I booked this property, all the pictures were of tree houses I drove 2 1/2 hours from the airport to get to this property. It was very difficult to find once I arrive there. I got a walk-through of the property which was very pretty. I went there with, two other friends and we were walked over to a cabin looking room, Nothing special which was not a treehouse how I expected. I was very disappointed because the reason I drove to this property booked with this property was for this treehouse. The staff was very rude and unhelpful when I explained to them that I was expecting a treehouse. I was told that houses only hold two people not three. I felt like It was very deceitful and how Expedia only have these tree houses featured on most of the pictures. I paid over $300 for one night to stay at a cabin not a treehouse how I expected. For what I got, I thought it was extremely expensive and the staff at the front desk was very rude. We didn’t have an option to stay since we had driven there so far and didn’t have any other accommodations.

All were amazing and a blast. Strongly recommend coming here. There is a all inclusive option if you are staying more than 6 days which I would recommend looking into. They do also do tours throughout the whole week I would ask about that. They include a guide and travel.

Still, from the very beginning starting with the parking lot, you will see the big difference since it seems not new or modern and like they kept the previous construction. You will enjoy it if you book at Tree Houses since let's say is their new area and the same vibe but if by any chance you book a suite, they are across the street so you are separated from Nawi/mizata and it doesn't feel cozy and it's seems quite dirty. Besides that, the A/C was not working and to make it worse you cannot use the fan because if you turned it on, the lights turned on either so the night was awful. The prices were higher than usual, and the Nawi swimming pool was dirty the next morning. Please take into consideration that supposedly it is "pure water" not chlorine and all the people there with sunscreen and sweating make you feel it's dirty. Keep in mind that if you are not a party guy, there's nothing else you can do besides to spend your time in the pool and there's nothing closer than 1 hour driving. Overall, the place is cozy and you'll have some places to rest peacefully, prices can be better and if your budget is higher than the average and book at Tree House, the experience will be really good.

• Brianna (10/5): - AMAZING property. I totally loved my stay and I can’t believe some people didn’t think it was luxury stay. Don’t walk in expecting an American 5 star stay bc it’s not a resort. It’s literally ANTI. Staff was amazing, kind, attentive. I wish I could’ve stayed here forever. They had so many cute free things to do on site that came with the stay. Those activities enough kept us busy along with the amazing pool/beach area. If you’re visiting soon, there’s lots of construction going on and not much going on around the villa outside, but I will say, I saw people cleaning EVERY morning, making repairs and making sure everything look/felt fresh everyday. Delicious food and drinks. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my 30th!

• Edwin (10/5): Beautiful place to relax - I had a great time at Mizata and I recommend this place to anyone visiting El Salvador. The closest place by this resort is probably El Tunco which is about an hour of a drive. I do hope they clean the beach shore in the near future.

• Linda (6/5): - This place is beautiful for adults, definitely not for families with small children, we were set up by the “kids pool” it was green and unable to use during our stay because it was never cleaned . they didn’t have a chair for parents to sit around the pool, the only pools with chairs is the 18 pool and secondary pool by the front desk which was green too and there was a lot of construction around it. The trails to walk towards the rooms are dirt and with so much rain we were tracking all that dirt to the room . If you’re staying in a tree hutch you will have no problem with the dirt . The menu is limited and there are no other restaurants near by. There is a pupuseria across the street and she charges $2 per pupusas and they are not good. We had better for a fraction of the cost. There is no TV or microwave in case you have left overs and want to heat them up. If you’re still fascinated by Mizata be my guest.

• Josue (10/5): - Very accommodating and professional staff and service on both the AntiResort and Nawi sides. We came in early and were tended to by concierge until our T.H. was ready. Food was delicious, amenities are great, location is gorgeous. Only cons: parking area is pretty tight. There was a private event at Nawi one day so it was closed off, and private guest areas/pool/bar were empty and hardly tended to which could make guests feel left out or not prioritized

• Tara (10/5): - Beautiful property, in tune with nature. The staff is very pleasant and caring. Big shout out to Carolina that put the extra icing on the cake, I give her 100/10 rating. She is empathetic and professional, can’t say enough good things about her. Overall experience was excellent.

• Kathrine (4/5): - The staff was great, Danny and Daniel at front desk were both pleasant and warm. Edgardo at Nawi was also great. Other than that, this place is overpriced, dirty and not ready for guests. The communication sucks, the girl at front desk said she would email me a breakdown of my bill which I have not received. I dont think they understand English well because they couldnt fix our bills and now I cant even check it because I havent received it after 3 days. We asked to pay for a room upgrade but they didnt give us the lightning deals they advertised and charged regular prices. Also, even if the room is ready they wont let you go in the room until exactly 4pm or even past 4pm. They are still under construction and there is dust and lumber everywhere as you try to use the facilities and even attend yoga classes. The music at the restaurant is too noisy and loud. The treehouse is pretty to look at but its not liveable. The water supply is not freshwater and it has a salty taste so even showering and brushing your teeth. Then the sink has a sewage smell from the ptrap. The pool also didnt loon clean. Overall, we spent almost $700 at this place and it was the biggest rip off of our trip at El Salvador.

• Tyler (6/5): Antiresort Great, Nawi... not so much. - The rooms are nice. We did both the beach and jungle bungalow and enjoyed both of the rooms. The eco friendly environment was cool and so was the aesthetics. I also enjoyed the morning yoga classes. The instructors were great! The only downside was the attachment to Nawi beachhouse. While Nawi is a very photogenic place, the menu was lacking. I was hoping for more authentic options (how do they not serve papusas!?). Luckily restaurante La Pausa is down the road, and was amazing. Another issue with Nawi was their music volume. Its extremely loud in the evening. So loud, you only hear the vibrations of the bass. It doesnt suit the vibe of the place, and we had to leave early multiple nights to get away from it. Nawi was the only downside though. The beach itself is great, and the staff was awesome! I wouldnt stay here again, as i would prefer a more peaceful setting, and better food menu than Nawi offers. I would recommend others to try it for themselves though, as it might suit your style.

• Yanira (10/5): - We stayed at the tree house. It’s beautiful, spacious and clean. It has all the accommodations you need. The bed is comfortable the AC works and there’s hot water. The pool area is very nice and the food was amazing. The staff always went far and beyond. It’s still under construction since it’s a new hotel but I’m sure in a few months it will be all done. Beautiful sunsets that you can see. But most importantly it’s very safe. Thank you Mizata hope to see you soon
