• Mary (8/5): Perfect location and lovely staff - The beachfront location is honestly heaven on earth! The bar there was the best spot on the island for watching the sunset. Food was really nice and the staff were super helpful. For the price, I thought the rooms were a bit basic. The shower wasn’t great and as a short person I found the bathroom sink way too high. Our bedside lights didn’t work either and the mosquito nets over the beds had holes. It was all fine - we didn’t spend a massive amount of time in the room but worth bearing in mind if you’re expecting a bit more luxury.

• SONIA (8/5): Lieu paradisaque confort à revoir - L’emplacement est super en front de mer. Plage privée avec bar et restaurant. De la musique tous les soirs pour le sunset. Un moment génial. Sans la foule. L’hôtel est niché entre les palmiers dans un écrin de verdure. Cela a 5 minutes à pieds du centre ville. Attention il n’y a pas de piscine seul un accès à la plage transat gratuit faisant parti de l’hôtel. C’est un hôtel avec une deco et une thématique bohème chic. Petit déjeuner vous choisissez un plat de la carte seulement pas de buffet à volonté … donc les gros mangeurs attention. Pour le prix les prestations sont très trop Spartiate. Nous étions en suite sur la plage jardin. L’hôtel est beau l’emplacement génial mais c’est tout. La chambre ne représente pas du tout le luxe bohème chic. Une chambre avec deux lits double et un bureau deux chaises. Une salle de bain toilettes. Le tout en bois structure en bois basic. La literie est pas top pas de sèche cheveux pas de fer à repasser ou défroisser une Clim qui a une télécommande défaillante et qui fait un bruit atroce. Les travaux de l’hôtel d’à côté ne dérange pas. Mais il faut aimé la musique que passe les ouvrier car elle est forte. Entre les suites seul une séparation par des bois. Donc peu d’intimité. Les voisins qui fument ou parle on entend tout.

Le coucher de soleil imprenable ! Les travaux juste à côté de notre chambre. Elle donnait sur les travaux, dommage pour nous.

• Søndergaard (8/5): - Deres café lavede noget helt fantastisk frokost. Der var liggestole på stranden, og mulighed for at tappe frisk vand.
• Anna (8/5): Super Lage direkt am Strand, ruhig und zentral - Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und hat einen eigenen Beach Club. Man konnte dort super verweilen und hat immer einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen haben wir dort nicht probiert, aber die Getränke waren super! Das Personal am Strand war super freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Man kommt vom Hotel schnell in die Stadt und hat alle Möglichkeiten, die die Insel zu bieten hat. Besonders gut hat mir der Power Yoga Kurs gefallen. Zwar leider ohne Meerblick, aber dafür auf einer schönen Plattform direkt am Hotel. Das Hotelbett war bequem und das Zimmer großzügig geschnitten. Ansonsten war die Hotelanlage gut gepflegt - es wurde jeden Tag im „Garten“ gefegt und alles zu recht gemacht. Man merkt, dass das Hotel schon etwas älter ist. Die Ausstattung im Hotelzimmer ist recht alt und wirkt verbraucht. Die Stühle auf der Terrasse waren kaputt und durchgesessen. Die müsste man dringend erneuern. Das Zimmer wirkt generell dunkel und ungemütlich. Das könnte man mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten gut aufwerten. Auf der Terrasse könnte man auf der Holzliegefläche vielleicht ein paar Kissen einsetzen. Auch die Ausstattung im Beachclub wirkt in die Jahre gekommen. Neben dem Hotel befindet sich eine Riesen Baustelle. Diese war zwar nicht wahnsinnig laut, aber für den Blick beeinträchtigt einen es schon - vor allem bei dem Preis, den man gezahlt hat und dies taucht bei der Buchung nicht als Hinweis auf. Das wird sicherlich noch einige Jahre dauern, bis das Gebäude fertiggestellt ist. Das Frühstück ist leider echt nicht gut. Im Hotel gibt es noch ein Café, wo man frühstücken kann, aber das nur gegen Bezahlung. Das kostenlose Frühstück ist dagegen mager. Kann man mal machen, aber nicht jeden Tag.

• Laurie (7/5): Personnel très gentil mais travaux à proximité et bazar sur la plage et dans l'eau de l'hôtel - Le personnel est au petit soin, ils sont très gentils ! L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, à deux pas du centre et face à la mer. Nous avons pu croiser des ratons laveurs très rigolos dans les espaces communs. Le restaurant / bar sur la plage est excellent. Les cocktails sont bons et la vue pour le coucher de soleil est exceptionnelle ! Nous n'avons pas apprécié avoir des gros travaux juste à côté (à la limite d'être dans l'espace de l'hôtel). Nous aurions souhaité être informé de ces nuisances sonores. De plus, nous avons séjourné fin mars, et il y avait pas mal de sargasses, ainsi que des tuyaux, des ouvriers et des bouteilles en plastique de tout genre dans l'eau qui est face à l'hôtel. J'imagine que c'est à cause des travaux, mais du coup le fait d'avoir tout ce bazar dans l'eau empêche de pouvoir se baigner tranquillement. Ne comptez pas sur le fait de pouvoir barboter tranquillement dans une eau turquoise sans bazar autour de vous. Vraiment dommage. La chambre n'était pas bien isolée et on entendait absolument tout: Nos voisins parlaient très forts, jusqu'à très tard, avec les cris et pleurs des enfants.

• Fedorowicz (1/5): Nightmare, hammer, no beach - Nothing Our stay at this hotel was a complete disaster. There were workers on the beach, and right next to it there was a massive construction site. The noise from the machinery was unbearable from morning until evening. There was absolutely no chance to relax. In reality, it was impossible to use the beach, even though the hotel shamelessly advertises it as private. To get any rest at all, we were forced to go to other beach clubs and spend whole day far away from sounds of hammers. On top of that, raccoons were running around the hotel grounds, which created a serious concern regarding hygiene and safety. No one was cleaning the stinking seaweed (sargassum) on the beach, while neighboring hotels kept their beaches clean and well maintained. The breakfasts were very basic and of poor quality, and the coffee and tea were simply awful. Absurdly, the hotel has a separate café with much better coffee and more interesting breakfast options. Overall, the experience was horrible and nerve-wracking. Completely inconsistent with what was advertised and promised. Nearby hotels offer a much higher standard and better conditions at a similar or even lower price. I strongly do not recommend it. A total waste of money and nerves, unless you’re an engineer who wants to spend their holiday watching a construction site all day.

The hotel crew was very helpful :) We were dissapointed with the breakfast. Not too many options to chose from and the food wasn’t that delicious, it was also very simple. It was okay but we expected better for this price.

• Simon (9/5): Wir hatten traumhaften 3 Tage im Zomay. - Süße ruhige Anlage mit einem direkten Zugang zum Strand inkl. Beach Club. Die Lage war wirklich außergewöhnlich da man in 2-3 Minuten im Zentrum war aber dennoch soweit außerhalb das es ruhig war. Frühstück im Beach Club war auch lecker. Hotel Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend und entspannte Kommunikation via WhatsApp. Baustelle nebenan zerstört etwas das Bild, aber es sind keine typischen Baustellengeräusche wahrzunehmen.

Meilleur spot pour les couches de soleil, belle plage. Proche du centre ville. Les prestations sont à améliorés : sun bed détérioré, table de nuit cassé, porte compliqué à ouvrir et fermer, rideau difficile à déplacer… sachant que c’est ce qui nous permet de ne pas avoir de soleil le matin ou que les gens ne nous voient pas à travers les baies vitrés au RDC…
• lucie (9/5): Séjour agréable, l’établissement est sympathique - L’établissement est très bien situé dans la ville, le beach club est très bien, on est très près de la mer, le personnel est gentil et réactif aussi bien à la réception qu’aux restaurants. Certains équipements sont trop vieux, le petit déjeuner est moyen c’est globalement trop cher pour ce que c’est d autres établissements proposent des séjours moins chers avec des prestations supérieures mais sont plus loin de la plage, on paye la proximité de tout.

• Cisternas (5/5): - Nos encantó el lugar, esta frente a la playa que es muy rica, el personal es atento. Tienen un restaurant/bar que es increíble para ver el atardecer, se genera un ambiente muy entretenido. No es su culpa, pero justo al lado del hotel estaban construyendo, entonces estuvimos cerca de 5 días y siempre nos despertábamos por el ruido de la construcción que comenzaba a las 8 am. Entonces es difícil continuar descansando. Aunque fuimos en época que no tocaba sargazo, nos tocaron 2 días en que no se podía entrar a la playa por la gran cantidad de algas. Lamentablemente, aunque lo sabíamos, el hotel no cuenta con piscina, por lo que no había mucho más que hacer si ya habías recorrido el pueblo.

• Anina Luisa (8/5): Schöner Abschluss unserer Reise :) - Wirklich super Team, das sich richtig herzlich um ihre Gäste kümmert und rund um die Uhr per WhatsApp erreichbar ist. Die Rezeption an sich ist bis 22:00 Uhr besetzt. Selbst im Vorfeld wurde jegliche Hilfe per WhatsApp angeboten und es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist sehr schön und das Hotel ist super schön angelegt. Es sieht wirklich traumhaft aus. Das Frühstück ist gut, leider nur sehr kleine Portionen im Preis inbegriffen. Die Zimmer/ Hütten sind sehr schön, sehr sauber. Das Bett ist wirklich bequem. Ein Kühlschrank und ein Safe sind vorhanden. Fön und weitere Bettwäsche o.ä. kann man sich an der Rezeption holen. Auch wenn es einem nicht gut geht, hat die Rezeption Paracetamol und Ähnliches da. Am Strand lag sehr viel Seetank, wofür das Hotel aber nichts kann (es war auf der ganzen Insel der Fall). Das Team hat aber alles dafür getan, diesen zu beseitigen und somit den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen.

Presence of yapping dogs, particularly from one set of guests who made no attempt to address this. Extremely annoying when you are eating or having a sunset drink and trying to relax. We understand you offer a pet friendly hotel, but these guests must be responsible for not disturbing other guests and this should be enforced.

• Ramon (6/5): - The lounge area close to the beach is very nice. Also, the sunsets are very cool to see, sometimes with sometimes a DJ set playing. The staff is friendly and very helpful if you need something. However, the rooms are very basic even if you take a more luxurious room. No decoration, no place to store you cloths in a cupboard,, no hairdryer. They are also building a huge hotel next door, which causes noise pollution. The beach itself is not really attractive (lots of sargassum) in comparison with the beach on the right side of the pier (where the water is crystal clear).

L’emplacement est top: Permettant d’être rapidement au centre mais tout en étant loin de l’agitation et du bruit. • Silvie (10/5): - Great location in the centro but still a bit away from the biggest parties. Amazing staff, beautiful garden & amazing views from the room. Private beach that really felt private and secluded, nice spacious but minimalist room, very good breakfast. This is by no means the hotel's fault, but on the parcel right next to the hotel garden another hotel is being built and the rooms don't isolate noise 100%, so if you plan hanging out in the room during the day to catch up on sleep after long travels, for example, some earplugs are recommended.

The place offers a direct access to a beach, with beds and there’re plenty of palm trees! Everything is very well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were all adults, but there were families with small children too, and they seemed to have a great time. The place is a little further from the centre, which is great as you get more peace and quiet and comfort. Great coffee in the cafe! Our room was a bit smaller than expected but we were fine there and spent the time on the beach anyway!

• Dominic (7/5): Schönes Hotel, schlechtes Frühstück - Sehr schöne Anlage zu der Sorge getragen wird Grosse Zimmer Freundliche Receptionsmitarbeiter Schöner Strandbereich Frühstück ist lächerlich für ein so schönes Hotel. Man wählt aus einer sehr kleinen Karte aus und die Portionen sind viel zu klein. Der Kaffee ist ungeniesbar. Sehr schade, da das Hotel über ein eigenes Kaffee mit sehr gutem Essen und Trinken verfügt... Preis/Leistung stimmt hier absolut nicht!

• Boot (8/5): Echt vakantie - Een heerlijk hotel. De locatie was top! Het hotel ligt aan het strand en 5 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Een hele vriendelijke gastheer, bedienend personeel was aardig en de hele sfeer was echt vakantie. De kamer was niet heel groot maar de bedden lagen heerlijk en de douche was ook fijn. Er is alleen geen tv dat was eerst wel vreemd maar later mis je m ook niet echt.
• Nicole (9/5): Traumhafte Lage, nettes Personal - Sehr nettes Personal. Sehr zuvorkommend und familiär (man wird immer mit Name angesprochen und gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist). Bedienung im Restaurant/Strandbar ausserordentlich gut! Essen im Restaurant super (waren zum Frühstück und Abendessen da - sehr zu empfehlen). Traumhafte Lage, man fühlt sich wie im Paradies! Umfangreiches Tourangebot mit ausgezeichneten Tourguides und Yoga am Morgen hat uns super gefallen.

• de Becker (8/5): - L’accès à la plage directe est très agréable. Regarder le couché du soleil avec un cocktail et les pieds dans le sable était juste magique. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur le bar de la plage. Il manque un sèche cheveux dans la salle de bain ainsi qu’une armoire pour mettre ses vêtements car seul un portant est disponible dans la chambre. La classification de 4 étoiles ne correspond pas du tout aux critères habituels. La moustiquaire est juste pour faire jolie car fixation inappropriée pour être efficace.

• Hernán (8/5): Esta bien, lo recomendaría - La zona de playa está cerrada y tiene un camino corto entre el la habitación y la playa con hamacas y "puffs" de playa. Además está todo muy bien integrado, el restaurante, bar con mesas y una vista del atardecer hermosa, y la playa, todo junto. También tienen tablas tipo padel, que a los niños les encanta. La playa no es de las mejores, algunos días tenía sargazo, mientras que en otras playas no. Nosotros estábamos un rato por la mañana y luego salimos a recorrer otras playas más bonitas como Punta Mosquito, etc. También está cerca del centro de Holbox que esta lleno de bares y restaurantes. Está muy bien ubicado. El desayuno está bien también.

• Dominik (7/5): Charming but simple beach guesthouse - Beautiful location, directly at the beach. The town is also within walking distance. There’s massive construction work next to the hotel. This and the general state of the estate lead to the conclusion that this hotel is completely overpriced (like many on this island). The „suite“ is a very simple room without a sofa, sitting area or proper storage and it needs a renovation. Overall, the hotel is charming and a simple beach guesthouse. But for the price they charge, you can get a top notch all inclusive hotel on the mainland.

Immer mehr un mehr Sargasse aber trotzdem traumhafte Lage! - Das Hotel ist klein und sehr sympatisch, ruhig und das Personal ist fantastisch (Daniel & Ricardo!). Das Balkon von das Eltern Zimmer war großzugig. Das "Classic" Zimmer benötigt Renovierung und Die Matratzen sind nicht in ihre beste Komfort. Leider kein Föhn

• Lucas (9/5): Zomay es un pequeño paraíso en Holbox! Totalmente recomendable. - La ubicación es fantástica. Está a pie de playa. El personal del hotel es muy atento. Daniel y Ricardo nos cuidaron de maravilla. Las comidas tanto en el restaurante de la playa como en la cafetería de la entrada están muy bien. Las porciones del desayuno no son muy grandes. Es a la carta, está muy rico pero es poca cantidad.

Camere spaziose e pulite comprensive di teli mare. Hanno una bella spiaggia attrezzata a pochi metri dalla camera. Chiringuito sulla spiaggia con una bella vista e ottimo punto x vedere tramonti. Staff molto gentile.

• Nicole (9/5): Wir hatten als 5-köpfige Familie einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. - Kleine Bungalowanlage mit schönem Garten, direkt am Strand - wo auch das Frühstück eingenommen wird. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

• Nicolette (9/5): - We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad met onze twee kinderen in Zomay Beachfront. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk (bedankt Ricardo voor alle goede zorgen), er zijn altijd ruim voldoende ligbedjes aan het strand en er is een geweldige bar met uitzicht op de zonsondergang en goede cocktails. De bungalow waar wij verbleven was ruim en werd elke dag goed schoongemaakt. Het eten in het bijbehorende restaurant is heerlijk. De kinderen mochten gratis gebruik maken van een aantal surfplanken. Ook de locatie is super, het hotel is rustig gelegen maar slechts een paar minuten lopen naar het centrum. Vlakbij het hotel is een hondenasiel waar je kan helpen met het uitlaten van de hondjes, ook erg leuk om te doen. Al met al een hele dikke aanrader en wij hopen ooit nog eens terug te komen. Niets!
• shehara (10/5): Perfekt - Alles. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Essen und die Getränke waren super. Mein Zimmer war perfekt. Der Beachclub sah auch sehr schön aus. Ich war auch an dem Weihnachtsessen und es war sehr schön organisiert. Das Personal war wirklich sehr sehr freundlich.
• Saskia (10/5): - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein großes Kompliment geht an Daniel, der uns von Anfang an mit offenen Armen begrüßt hat. Er ist das Herz des Hauses, merkt sich jeden einzelnen Namen und kümmert sich so fürsorglich um die Gäste. Danke nochmal für das Upgrade unseres Zimmers - es war toll. Für uns war es die perfekte Unterkunft mit einer tollen Lage. Abseits vom Kern der Insel und trotzdem zentral. Wir haben unsere morgendlichen Spaziergänge sehr genossen. Hat man einmal die Hotels rechts und links daneben hinter sich, kommt man zu den schönsten Stränden der Insel. Vielen Dank für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt.

Daniel was heel behulpzaam aan de balie met alles wat we vroegen. Rodolfo was de ster in de bediening. En Ricardo het stralende en altijd goed gezinde gezicht van het team. Onze zoon van 1,5 werd extra in de watten gelegd
