Guest Reviews
- F3144FProccom (2/5): Terrible experience. Consider avoiding this place. - Unfortunately, our experience at this lodge was among the worst we’ve had in over 15 years of travel.
Upon arrival, we were assigned a room in truly unacceptable condition: dirty, dusty everywhere, with an old and poorly cleaned bathroom. There was an old, burnt mosquito repellent device plugged into the socket (frankly unsafe), and, even more concerning, we found a lizard in the room that had entered through a gap in the window frames, which were very old and poorly maintained. Considering we are in the desert, where scorpions, spiders, and snakes are also present (as mentioned in other reviews), it would be the bare minimum to ensure that rooms are properly sealed.
To be fair, after initially struggling to find a staff member, once we reported the issue they were very kind and quickly moved us to another room. A gesture we appreciated, as unexpected issues can happen anywhere.
Unfortunately, the second room also had problems: superficial cleaning, visible mold on the walls and ceiling, and during a storm shortly after, rain started leaking into the room, directly onto the bed.
I would also like to point out that, before being able to speak with the staff about the first room, I had contacted Booking support to report that the room did not match the photos and was not clean — something I believe is any guest’s right.
And this is where things became absurd.
The following day, upon returning from a desert excursion, we were approached by someone who appeared to be the manager, who rather bluntly informed us that we had to leave the property immediately. We were told that Booking had requested a refund on our behalf (which we had never asked for), and therefore we had to pack our bags and leave.
Just imagine the situation: 3:00 PM, in the Namibian desert, after a full day under the sun, being told you need to find another place to stay for the night.
Despite our requests for clarification, we were given no opportunity to resolve the situation. We were simply told that the property was “fully booked” (which later turned out not to be true).
In the end, we were forced to find alternative accommodation (which, fortunately, turned out to be much better, with far more professional and welcoming staff).
In summary: beautiful location and well-maintained common areas, but outdated rooms that fall far below expectations — and above all, a level of customer management that can only be described as unacceptable.
In all our years of traveling, we had never experienced anything like this: essentially being treated as unwanted guests and asked to leave. A humiliating and deeply disappointing experience.
- Maxpingu (2/5): Awful accommodation do not stay here - This property is NOT luxury tented accommodation! It shouldn’t even be open in the summer months. The ‘fan’ they have in the room only pumps out hot air during the day as it’s 35+ degrees outside. It’s dangerous to have this type of property open. The furniture in the room is uncomfortable and the plunge pool is dirty with no comfortable furniture to sit on outside. This property is over a two hour drive to Deadvlei so it’s not even in a good location. Priced at over £300 a night it’s disgusting amount to pay for a view. We had to leave after just one night and the property refused to respond to Expedia after several attempts to get a refund for the night we didn’t use. I work in luxury travel and I can assure you this is not luxury. We stayed at Desert Quiver right by the entrance to the national park which was a third of the price and had air conditioning. My advice is do not stay at the property.
- Footprints552572 (10/5): Splash Pool - The water did not create splashes and sprays for added enjoyment. It would have been nicer with splashes.
- martinryannel44 (10/5): Fantastic - This was a fantastic trip with amazing staff and beautiful views from the rooms!! Thanks to the great manager and his wife for being the perfect hosts.
- Travelwithmetoday (10/5): Spacious, rustic, good food. - Large tented accommodation, rustic in feel but very spacious. Nice view from the restaurant terrace to watch the sunset, good food and affodable laundry service available. It is about one hour drive from the Sossusvlei on gravel road.
- alekskopestynska (10/5): amazing food - Amazing place and location and really nice people but Josephine’s food was the highlight of our visit ! I highly recommend this place
- AndyCapp69 (8/5): Very nice place to spend a few days - Fantastic location. Buffet breakfast and evening meal were ok. Nothing special. Good service by the staff in the restaurant
Rooms great for a relaxing sleep, but some very silly window covers which have to be man-handled into position, then zipped up were a pain. Management warned that the solar heated water might not be warm in the morning, but we found the water to be hot all the time.
A good 45 minute drive on mostly rutted dirt roads to get to sesriem, but since the gate opens after day break, there's no rush to get there.
- HMTravel1 (8/5): Spectacular Views - The tents sit on a hillside overlooking a large plain. The view is simply spectacular. The tents are well-appointed and comfortable. Each tent has its own small splash pool although it was too cool to try it during my stay. The staff is extremely friendly. There is lots of wildlife. I saw oryx, springbok, cape foxes, and jackals. Others saw giraffe, wildebeest and hartebeest. Most reviews compliment t the food, and maybe they had some off nights. The food is what I felt could stand the most improvement. My food was served cold both nights, and my game steak the first night was too tough to cut. Most stay in the area for the dunes. Be advised the lodge is quite far from the dunes. The drive is at least an hour, and you will be driving in the dark on gravel roads (extreme caution needed) if you leave the lodge intending to reach the park when the gates open.
- 853giselao (10/5): Extraordinary location with spectacular views - We stayed in a suite with spectacular views overlooking the desert.
Spotlessly clean. As it was hot, we enjoyed the little pool.
Dinner and breakfast buffet style was excellent too.
Welcoming and friendly staff.
- 873faridan (2/5): Don’t even bother staying : there’s no internet nor phone connection ! - My arrival at this hotel was a complete disappointment. The internet had been down since the day before I arrived, yet they kept telling guests that a technician was “on the way.” By the time I checked in, there was still no connection and no clear plan to fix it. The receptionist casually said maybe someone would come the next day.
Since I was working remotely, I had no choice but to leave. The hotel advertised internet, but there was none. To make things worse, even our phone lines were not working. Staying here felt like being cut off from the rest of the world.
When I decided to check into another hotel because I couldn’t stay without internet, they refused to give me a refund. This is unacceptable. They lure people in with false advertising and then trap them with poor service.
This place is nothing short of a scam. Avoid it at all costs.
- Emiliano (10/5): Un posto magico! Grazie a tutti
- mira (10/5): The best lodge in namibia - It was amazing. The room condition was perfect, the view was really nice, all the meals were absolutely delicious.
- Sonja (10/5): - Wunderschöne Lodge, sehr freundliches Personal, perfekte Aussicht, wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge
- ahmadf791 (10/5): amazing stay! - we just had an incredible stay in moon mountain lodges. It has most beautiful location, up in the mountain (its the only one in soussevlei!!!) and it has an amazing sunset view!! The food is good, the lodges is very comfortable.
- benjaminlX8432LX (10/5): Out of this world! - Come for the location. Stay for the service and views.
The first stop on our travels round Namibia was the outstanding Moon Mountain Lodge.
They say a picture paints a thousand words, so will mostly let the pictures do the talking. But in short the team here makes you feel incredibly welcome. We stayed in Lodge 1, with the plunge pool, which, yes, we did use. I cannot quite do justice to the experience of having a sundowner with the most incredible sunset.
Only to be treated to lovely food and then sit in awe with a night sky so intense and beautiful you feel this is something everyone should have the chance to experience. And definitely do the trip with Haans to Soussvlei and surrounding areas. You won’t regret it!
- cinzia (8/5): Meravigliosa Namibia - Location molto bella e ben inserita nell’ambiente circostante.
- Michelle (10/5): - Fun nice place with great staff including the Sossusvlei Excursion with Hannes. Need to improve the shower system, at least at our unit. But other then that we had a lovely time!
- Tinusvanzyl (10/5): Beautiful and serene - The welcoming was perfect, the staff made us feel so welcome and their hospitality is immaculate! Thank you.. good to die for! Really good
- Chandre (10/5): - Stunning views
- claytonfarao (10/5): A great escape to amazing views and tranquility - My wife and I stayed for 2 nights, and it was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was tranquil. A great place to go rest and switch off from the busyness of life. The views are breathtaking. The staff are friendly and warm, and the food was delicious. Compliments to the team, keep it up. It was a wholesome experience. We will definitely visit again.
- RistoGH (10/5): Exotic and romantic - This was my sixth visit to Moon Mountain Lodge. Every time I have guests in Namibia I try to bring them to Sossusvlei. Moon Mountain Lodge is conveniently located with less than one hours drive from Sestriem gate. Moon Mountain Lodge can be described as FANTASTIC, with beautiful scenery and most exotic modern tented lodges.
Personnel is friendly and special thanks to Festus who worked really hard to make guests visit unique and immemorial
- Van (10/5): - This is such a unique and wonderful place! We loved our stay at the Moon Mountain Lodge! The staff was so gracious in extending their hospitality to us, and we could not get over the beauty of our surroundings.
The evening dinner service was wonderful, and we were so grateful that the staff arranged to provide us with a great boxed breakfast, as we had to leave very early on both days of our stay.
This is an experience not to be missed!
- 750noeliar (2/5): Not recommended - Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy our stay due to a green beetle infestation in the room. We reported the issue to staff, and although they came to vacuum and clean, the insects remained—even inside the bed sheets. We understand the location is in the countryside, but this situation was excessive and unacceptable.
They offered to move us to another room six hours after our arrival, but by then we no longer felt comfortable and decided to leave and stay elsewhere, we talked with the reception guy and tell us that we talked with reservation team to explain this and refund. The lodge’s response to all of this has been deeply disappointing. We had booked two nights and were not refunded for either, despite the circumstances. Over €500 lost… Very poor service. We are frequent travelers and have never experienced such treatment before.
- cancer2025 (8/5): Wrong allocation - I have booked an executive suite. On the first night they have allocated a standard room and we only moved to the correct room the next day. We were not compensated for the difference of the rooms
- guperas2025 (10/5): Juliette Scholtz - We would propose a coffee bar in the rooms, but it is just a suggestion. Otherwise, it was fantastic, thank you very musch
- Safari09150927712 (10/5): Moon Mountain solitude - Absolutely wonderful accommodation near Solitaire with the most magnificent views! The staff were all well trained with great hospitality at mind, a good wine list affordably priced, lovely cotton linen and hot showers. What a refreshing oasis at the foot of the Naukluft mountains in Namibia. A bucket list must visit!
- Christopher (10/5): - Amazing lodge and lovely staff
- Justin (10/5): - The staff at Moon Mountain are extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin rooms are amazing as they are elevated which gives an amazing view out to the horizon. The food was great. The restaurant has a drinks deck area which is absolutely incredible. Especially at sunset. Would highly recommend.
- caroline777777777777 (10/5): Gorgeous views, good food, spectacular rooms - This hotel is the epitome of special - we unfortunately only stayed for one night, but it was the best room (if you can even call it that) that I have every stayed in. It has the most gorgeous views and the food was very nice. We have recommended this to all of our friends that visit Namibia.
- camien (10/5): There could be some coffee in the rooms - The view is spectacular and service excellent. The food on Saturday was not really very good.
Our game stake was tough and the desert not really very tasty.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful
- 231laurente (10/5): Three days in Moon Mountain lodge. - Great, nearly flawless experience - shortage of mango ginger tea was the one and only flaw. Attention to detail was remarkable, lots of small attentions that made a big diffetence. Staff were able to easily accomodate my request for poached eggs for breakfast. The views are breath taking. We have booked again for April 2025.
- latoyanana91 (8/5): Moon Mountain Lodge-Review - We loved our stay at MOON MOUNTAIN LODGE - it was quiet the place is ideal for a proper rest in the mountains
- utjiriange (8/5): HOME AWAY FROM HOME - bed was very uncomfortable but overall, everything was perfect. beautiful places, i would recommend more affordable activities. thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you

- venessa881 (10/5): Breathtaking breakaway - Had an amazing stay, the food and cold beer was 10/10. Rooms are a bit far from the reception/restaurant area but atleast you can get in your steps for the day :-D
- Anatoli (10/5): - Perfekt frühstücke und Abendessen . Wunderschöne Schwimmpool . Entspannt
- Emma (10/5): - Amazing location with breathtaking view.
Room was spacious and clean.
Staff nice and good restaurant on site.
- Glenn (10/5): Beautiful views - Uniquely situated tented lodge at the moon mountain. Great views of the sunset, and the dark, star filled sky. Friendly staff and enjoyable food. Very good service on the tours. We actually went a second time to deadvlei because of sandstorm on the first attempt, no extra charge. Note as this is a tented lodge, it gets noisy if there are strong winds at night. We experienced this, but it's supposedly not common.
- dwight (10/5): - Moom Mountain is a very unique set of tented rooms perched on a hillside with a fabulous view of mountains and desert. The staff went out of their way to solve more than one problem for me.
- Pauleen (10/5): - Amazing location and views. Staff polite and helpful. Buffet meals well prepared. Rooms basic and it has to be remembered these are part tented cabins built into the side of a mountain. A real Africa experience. Good shower/toilet/bath and very clean.
- hershdawg (2/5): Avoid at all costs. No sleep, rude manager. - There is nothing luxury about this lodge. The food was good and the view was beautiful, but that's all this place has going for it.
We were booked here for two nights, but we left after one night and paid for a new lodge because our experience was so bad. The flaps on the tents do not close properly. They are meant to zip up the sides and velcro across the top, but the velcro does not hold ESPECIALLY in the wind. We were there on a very windy night and it sounded like someone was banging on our tent all night long. We got no sleep until we decided to deal with the cold air instead of the wind and opened all of our tent windows.
When we asked the staff in the morning about this, they said that all of the tents are the same and refused to try and help fix the issue by trying a different tent. They offered no solutions at all and made it sound like guests complain about this to them all the time.
When the manager on duty spoke to us, he was incredibly rude and condescending. He told us that the wind is the problem and they are not responsible for the wind. We told him that the velcro doesn't hold on the tent windows, causing them to bang and make noise, this was the problem. He continued to explain that the season was changing and that it is windy...he even said "well there will be wind on the sand dunes" when we explained that we were upset because we weren't able to hike the dunes that morning for lack of sleep. He even started to raise his voice at me at one point.
We went down the road and booked a new lodge for the second night (despite getting no refund, it was that bad).
- Thomas (10/5): - A beautiful place to relax. The views during the day go forever and the night sky is filled with stars. Recommend at least a two night stay to recharge your batteries before exploring more of Namibia.
- Adam (10/5): - Great place. The views are stunning, the food was great, full bar and the staff were very friendly. The manager even drove me to another lodge twice to get transport to the park and later to get a bus back to Windhoek. I'd definitely come back to this place!
- Juergen (10/5): - Friendliness and always a smile
- Michael (10/5): A great stay at moon mountain lodge - Southern Namibia isn’t an easy place to find hotels, luckily we found moon mountain lodge and it served as an amazing home base for my travels to Sossusvlei and Sesreim. Breakfast and dinner were included with our rate, the staff was welcoming and went out of our way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
- Benjamin (10/5): - Fabulous
- Peter (10/5): Relaxing Stay - This lodge is spectacular with views for miles, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and offer the same panoramic views to wake up to. It's a bit further from Sesriem but definitely worth the drive as it offers a superior Namib experience to the lodges around the entrance in my opinion. Would definitely stay there again.
- Gabriela (10/5): - The view was sensationell
- Thomas (10/5): Amazing Place... - It was amazing... great ambiance... great get away for a few days... just simply fantastic place...
- Paola (10/5): Best lodge ever - It has been the best lodge I have ever seen. It is over a mountain facing an infinite valley. The sunset there is speechless. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The food is great. The room was very spacious and we had also a private patio with a small pool. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place surrounded by the nature.
- Harald (10/5): Great experience - Great experience
Very warm and generous hosts
- OSAMU (10/5): - It was located in quite, great view area and I could see incredible beautiful sun set scene from my room bed with coffee!!
It was one of the greatest sun set scene in my experience.
We can enjoy breakfast in great view with sun rise from terrace. Strongly recommended.
Staffs are kind and friendly.
- Stephen (10/5): 110% recommended, great place to stay. - Cleam, comfortable, an amazing view, great staff and good food, local advice and tips.
Highly recommended.
Only downside was no wifi in rooms.
- stefania (10/5): - Much more beautiful than in photos, lovely staff, sunset from our balcony one of the highlights of our trip.
- Mark (10/5): Stunning Lodge - remote but remarkable - It was amazing - the whole experience although only 1 night was exceptional!
- Luuk (10/5): - Everything was perfect, especially the location and the outstanding service (I forgot my Ipad, they found it in my room and sent it to my home address in Holland).
Moon mountain lodge is really a jewel in the desert!!
- Romain (10/5): Highly recommended lodge! - Very nice lodge with a view on the savanna.
Excellent service by the staff and good food quality.
Comfortable room
We had the very nice surprise to have a hot water bottle in our bed to warm it as the outside temperature was low during our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Great Place - Great place! That’s all I can say. If you are in the area you cannot miss it. I will definitely be back once in the area again. Just be there, relax and meditate. Happiness is not that difficult .
- Anne (10/5): Bluffant! - Emplacement vraiment exceptionnel, surclassement, personnel aux petits soins.
- Larry (8/5): Good stay, Fessy the host great - Rooms are large, bed comfortable, lighting standard, not as good as I would like. Staff very good, food very good. Nice vista from every room. Few animals during our two nights Remote location. Room acces iffy for those with mobility issues. For most people no problem. I would reccomend to a friend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant stay - Due to the Covid the hotel was very empty and we were the only guests staying at the lodge the first night, which gave the stay a bit of an eerie atmosphere. Nevertheless the staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious with spectacular views, albeit slightly dated.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great escape into the desert. Peaceful and the sunrises and sunsets are out of this world! The staff are also pretty amazing and go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable.
- Romeo (8/5): - Excellent lodge. Dinner buffet's quality and presentation needed be improved.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We chose this property because we wanted to "glamp" and it exceeded our expectations. We views are incredible, facilities are beautiful, food was delicious (breakfast and dinner are included), and the staff were amazingly friendly and personable. The location is about 1 hr from the Namib-Naukluft Park entrance to Sossuvlei & Sesriem which is very convenient. It was the perfect getaway--and a desert oasis--for my husband and I who wanted to get away from busy city life. We highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
- Ferdi (8/5): - Loved the location and the staff! Fantastic views and quietness. Would have liked some heating in the rooms (it was freezing when we were there.)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful! Beautiful place! Love the bedrooms 10/10
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is amazing lodge right on the top of mountain.
Astonishing view!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location location location! An amazing setting on the mountain side! Views are out of this world!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The view was beautiful, I loved the room which was very spacious along with the bathroom. The splash pool was great. The view from the main lodge for dinner was amazing and the service was really good. Someone was always there to help.
- Yolanda (8/5): - Great location with amazing views.
Food and staff were great.
Only downside was a lack of basic lighting outside the lodges and we ran out of water but once we raised this to their attention the sorted it out and offered an alternative lodge for a shower.
- James (10/5): 'Over the Moon' at Moon Mountain Lodge - We arrived late afternoon after a dusty drive from Windhoek and couldn't believe our eyes when the lodge appeared built on the side of a mountain. Our room was amazing with a private plunge pool and the most amazing views across the Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park. Hannes, Wilkkah, Dinally and the two Fessys' and all the staff made our six night stay wonderful. When visiting Solssusvlei do not miss the world beating accomodation and service that comes with Moon Mountain Lodge.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing hotel if you have the opportunity you must book a room for a night here service perfect food great
Nothing if you are handicap ore have problems to walk
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Moon Mountain Lodge is a spectacular accommodation that looks every bit as unreal in person as it does in photos. It is a trek to get there, but is simple enough to find (we basically took one road, the c14, from the airport all the way (287 km) there)
Once you arrive, you are within an hour or so's grasp from some of the most jaw dropping scenic routes and destinations in Namibia (Including Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and various national parks).
The staff was lovely, the food was good, and our lodging (#17) was exactly what we'd hoped for, with wall to wall views of the landscape around us. On our last night we took a sunset drive with a member of the staff to what looked like the Lost World, where we climbed up a hill and drank wine and ate snacks as the sun set on the Namibian bush.
I highly recommend MML for a truly special, and breathtaking place to stay.
- martin (8/5): - Stayed here for 2 nights. Enjoyed our stay very much. It's only 40 minutes drives from the sand dunes of Sossusvlei. The rooms were spacious and clean with amazing views. We had a plunge pool too which was nice. Food was a set menu each night but was tasty and well cooked. We would stay again if in the area.
- Stephen (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay, amazing location, very nice staff. Food good. Some reviews have criticised it for not being luxurious, well I agree but it is a great experience. One criticism, need to have soap or hanwash in the bathroom!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Beautiful views and unique location - There are not that many places to stay on the way to or near Sossusvlei. This hotel is located about 30-40 minutes from the entrance and has incredible views from it's perch on the side of a mountain. The location and the views are incredible. The staff are lovely and the food is very good. The rooms are a step up from platform tents though there's a private bathroom for each and the room was large. There are a lot of bugs and it's worse at night if you leave lights on. Some people will not be bothered by this. It was fine for 2 nights but for the price I was expecting something a bit more upscale. Go for the views and the experience. The sunset was among the best ever.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect wilderness opportunity - Absolute tranquility, Beautiful desert loaction, very welcoming staff, good homely food and great location for “downing tools”
Internet caused some issues but this could be seen as a positive - get away from it all.
Approx 1hr to the Sesreim gate if you want to visit the dunes, Also highly recommend the Zebra park for hikes
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A fantastic experience that surpassed expectations. Incredible views of the Namib landscape. Staff were very helpful and friendly and quick to assist with all requests.
- Olivier (10/5): Stunning location! - We arrived here with our rented 4x4 after landing in Windhoek.
Wow it looks amazing as you approach the lodges.
We slept very well and enjoyed the food with beautiful views on the valley.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Incredible views - Surreal experience staying at the Moon Mountain Lodge. It is in the middle of nothing. The rooms were clean, the food was good. The views are spectacular. Not that it mattered to us, but there was no wifi while we were there.
- Scott (10/5): Moon Mountain Lodge - spectacular views! - Moon Mountain Lodge was excellent! It is rural, however it is the perfect pitstop between Windhoek & Sossuvlei. The lodges are immaculate, well kept and very spacious. Each has a viewing deck and moon pool, making it the perfect place to watch the African sunrise/ sunset. I could not recommend this place enough!
- Zack (8/5): On the up! :-) - The lodge has great views and sunsets. Staff are friendly, and very helpful.
Due to the remote location internet connection is a challenge, and wifi did not work during our stay, but management is looking for a solution. The lodge is also looking at renovating, and the appointed interior designer was actually there during our stay. Breakfast and Dinner is good, and we can't complain. The splash pools are the highlight of the units. They are not heated, but once you jump in it's great to cool down in the hot Namibian sun with a drink in hand.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful location - Spent a night here with my husband. Absolutely stunning graphics location, friendly staff and refreshing pools!
- scott (10/5): Great staff - I just wanted to mention how great we were treated by the staff. Reagan in particular was phenomenal. He gave us great advice on how to best see dead vlay and the sand dunes, he made sure we had breakfast packed for us (even though we forgot to mention we'd need them) and then on top of it had great stories about Namibia to tell. I would recommend and return to Moon Mountain Lodge any chance I get
- Verified traveler (8/5): Disappointing. - Wonderful views, but there is no wifi - hasn't been for months - and staff are not very informative. Ran out of Appletiser, rum... things one would consider basic at any lodge. Reagan was an exception and very helpful. Found litter in the veld during one of our walks, and generally the focus is not on the environment. No bath, which didn't bother us but it was in the room description. Very hot and no fans. Avoid room #8 which, although convenient to the common areas, is noisy with annoying lights from the kitchen.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Incredible location with friendly staff who looked after us very well.
- Natalie (10/5): Taste Central - This was a fun place to stay for a night. You feel very at peace with nature, and the food was delicious. My only issue was that there were a ton of bugs, but that isn't the hotels fault considering they are in the middle of nowhere vulnerable to the elements. I think it is part of the fun too. The views were incredible, as well!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - One of my favorite place on earth.
I will always remember it .
The bathroom can be improved, but who cares when you have this view
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great and unique location - Great location. Amazing view. Could enhance experience by providing some complimentary beverages with dinner (perhaps price into room fee)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good place to stay.
- Retired (10/5): - The facilities at this Hotel were very good relative to it's location
- Harold (10/5): - Everything great except poor dinner.
- Grace (10/5): - Took their early morning to the dunes which was excellent and informative. They were helpful finding us a hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing views and wonderful management and staff! - After the long, dusty drive there, I was welcomed with a glass of juice and a friendly smile. They offered me a free bottle of wine because I made it up the driveway in 2wd. Best, friendliest management I've ever experienced. Completely attentive without being intrusive. Just amazing. Staff is amazing too! Beautiful location and a great experience in every way. Go to Moon Mountain Lodge if you can! The night sky is amazing too!
