- Sayuri (2/5): Not worth the price. Wouldn’t recommend. - Good location. Tiny private rooms with absolutely nothing. Reminds me of a prison cell. No mirror, cupboards or even just a hook for the towel. Just the bed, bedside table and a small fridge. Kitchen was dirty. No real staff, the only staff was working remotely.
- Guillermo (7/5): - Muy tranquila, la gente que estaba ahi muy tranquila Se nota que la mayoria de la gente del hostel son long term. En este caso era gente muy amable pero eso siempre es una loteria.
Muy pocos baños

but
The horrible state of the showers and toilets
Both downstairs showers were out of order and one upstairs .. so in the whole place only one usable shower which had a leak in the wall and so barely any water came out .. the floor was wet and smelt of mould
The downstairs toilet was utterly filthy and no toilet paper for the whole stay of 3 nights
The dorms smelt of BO and loud plastic fans running all night did nothing to help with lack of air flow or cooling in a sauna of a place
3 full fridges smelt of mould and lack of any PowerPoints was unbelievable
Even my dog gets better facilities at home

- CHRISTOPHER (5/5): It's ok..... - The location was great, the building could be a great hostel. The cleaning in the rooms is of a high standard and cleaning staff are very helpful. The virtual receptionist was nice as they are I didn't like the impersonal nature of remote receptionist as they are just a screen. I also found the big brother nature of her talking through cameras in the kitchen if she was unhappy about something unsettling. Also safety concern as no staff on site if fire evacuation or safety issues. The hostel kitchen facilities are really not great there's like three forks between whole hostel. Kitchens are clean enough but really need money spending on them and new sets of cutlery and mugs brought.
- Aleksei (5/5): Only if you don’t have choice. Ssory - Cheap Red real cleaning. Hostel more look like a place for homeless people
- Clara (1/5): dirty and stinky - nothing it was very very dirty and stinky. there was no personnel on site, only someone to talk with on zoom. the locks of the rooms were broken
- Leonardo (1/5): Terrible, it smelled and felt like there were people doing drugs there and people looked homeless - Nothing, it was terrible staying here The bed, the people there, the bathroom, the kitchen, the toilet, the room
- Kieran (3/5): Cheap, but not the best. You pay for what you get - Staff were polite and friendly to deal with on checkin Facilities were quite dirty, and I avoided any communal areas as much as possible. Could hear people doing drugs in the communal areas at night which felt unsafe and kept me up some nights because of the noise they were creating
- Khadim (10/5): I think It's better than anywhere else. - It’s very good and clean & tidy Every thing is good I not see anything bad

- Kristy (1/5): Burn the place - never again would we go back couldn't believe it the smell of mould there were fleas in our bedroom we were paying $120 then $170 thay were making up there own pricing and then I ask for my money back on washing machine no money back oh and the backpackers employees including manager are working from Philippines if U want to help you talk into a tv if I had it my way burn it down it's that bad I wouldn't put my worse enemy in their Everything got ask to leave so thay can Clean our room and to ask if we can stay for an extra 2 nites and ask for a different room on bottom floor coz partner had opp on foot and he was in no order to walk up stairs thay said no I ask why thay said clean room
- Masterson (8/5): For the price its definitly worth it and its in quite a nice area so i would say a solid 7 out of 10 - Although the receptionists are not there in person and on a video screen, they are lovely ladies and really pleasant to deal with actually, its quite a relaxed vibe in there most of the time. Not hard to get along with the people staying there and nobody really causes any trouble, there is 2 kitchen areas and they are pretty good. Youve got ovens in both, a microwave and toaster oven also, lounge area is comfortable, nice couches with recliners and a big tv Nothing to complain about too much but the tv would be great if you could access neflix on it, it would be a great addition and im sure it would attract a lot more people to chill in the lounge, also on some occasions there is no toilet paper or soap in the toilets but that hasnt happened too often.

- Kerry (10/5): -
- Allison (1/5): - I felt extremely unsafe and unsupported in the end.
- DANIEL FELIPE (4/5): -
- Przemysław Szyszkiewicz (2/5): Very sus place - Room was okay though. No problem with the room itself. Full of very shady people. My and my wife felt very uncomfortable. All smoke weed and look like drugs addicts and homeless.
In kitchen completely disgusting few cockroaches spotted right away.
- Trish (2/5): Terrible - The location only The false advertisement of wifi availability, the photo of the room advertised was completely different and it was in disgusting condition. Also advertised that it had tv that I was scared was going to electrocute me it was making a popping electrical sound. They advertised wifi and there wasn’t any access to it. The room smelt of a mix of smoke and room toilet spray. I woke with a swollen face having an allergic reaction to the room. The sheets were clean but the room was disgustingly dirty. I paid the same price for a place I. Port Augusta and the place even had a pool. They charge way to much for such poor conditions.

- Hope (1/5): Unsafe, unclean, and illegal - The beds were quite comfortable and they were made upon arrival- which was great as we had spent hours trying to enter our room as their was no receptionist despite confirmation we could check in later.
We had towels and a small tube of shower gel- again great as the bathrooms had no toilet paper (great for a woman on her period!), and the bathrooms were wet on the floor with black grime Pretty much everything was a let down. I received several text messages and phonecalls confirming we could check in after official office hours. However, when we arrived, the code for the room didn't work. Then one of the ladies staying there said she knows how to break the lock as she stays there for free! Long story short one man had to tease open a window and he climbed through a small gap into our room- despite our unease (as three young female travelers). Then there were the bathrooms which were wet, grubby, and had no paper. The place smelled of smoke and weed- despite this being forbidden. The kitchen was awefully equipped with two spoons and one bowl! The receptionist who was on zoom did not once apologise for us having to climb into our room when we asked for the correct code the next day, and upon asking for a refund was told it was unavailable as we had already stayed a night. DO NOT COME! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
- Jack (8/5): -
- Valentina (1/5): - The toilets are clean but Nothing else. it’s horrible since you arrive. Depressing, nobody is on desk you talk with a person behind the screen It’s just not a hostel is a place with rooms and homeless people living there wich was actually the only good thing because they’re good people but it’s not what you look for when you wanna stay in a hostel. Kitchen is dirty, not any place in the fridge. I just leaved the they I arrived
- Carl (10/5): -
- Qi Wei (3/5): - All of junkie live there
- Watson (10/5): -
- MOHAMED (2/5): - It's was unsafe to stay there . People there they was fighting
- Noah (7/5): - The room was good Good
- david (1/5): - Nothing Everthing
- Watson (10/5): -
- Wathsala (1/5): - Room was smelly and beddings was so dirty and smelly
- Leslie (1/5): Horrible. I did not stay there. I slept in my car instead. - Nothing to like. I walked in and walked out again after seeing how dirty and overcrowded with people it was. Dirty. Run down. Noisy. It was more like a homeless person's shelter.
- Vera (10/5): -
- Chris Badman (3/5): Bit rough, wouldn't recommend unless no other options. - It was cheap and close to Pirate life brewery. It was pretty rough and we didn't feel entirely safe staying there. Check in was a video call to reception, no on site staff to manage things.
- Michael (3/5): The room is stinky. Not suitable for tourists. - The price was attracative The room was stinky. As I clocked in I informed the staff that I cannot stay there because of the stentch. It is a motel for the long term dwellers. Not suitable for a tourist.
- mcDonald (8/5): - I was able to sleep well and enjoy people's company Kids running around making noise
- Pascoe (1/5): - Smart tv n wifi Scrungy. Whole building should be condemned
- Akashdeep (5/5): -
- Corey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shaun (5/5): Passable -
- Tanya (7/5): Good -
- Natasha (2/5): - Unsafe, dirty and only one remote (overseas) staff member.
We were checked in by a remote staff member working from overseas. There was no staff at the location and no one to contact after 9:30pm. On check-in, a non staff member assisted myself and one other person checking in, which was helpful, but could have been an issue if there was any ulterior motives to helping, particularly because we had a printer give us our code to the door.
Their signage says that there is no right to a refund, which is against consumer law in Australia. They say it’s about change of mind, but the service provided here is well below what I would expect of even the cheapest hostels I’ve stayed at.
We were unable to use the kitchen due to other people being passive aggressive and who proceeded to speak violently about us outside our door and window.
They threatened to harm us.
By this time, there was no where else we could stay and no one at the hotel to contact.
There was a child unsupervised in the hallways who was crying at times. The child stayed in that hallway for up to an hour before the parents came back and this happened multiple times that night.
There was a moderate level of cleanliness, but that was overshadowed by a toilet that was flooding and not properly sealed to the ground, dirty stained bedding and duct tape that seemed to be holding the beds together.
I don’t recommend staying here and I believe this place is not a property fit to be used as accommodation.
- Anne (1/5): Never stay here - Nothing Disgusting
