- Susan (10/5): An exceptional staff and experience in the Pink City. Highly recommend. - This truly was a haven and sanctuary. The grounds , facilities and staff were exceptional. Everyone was truly focused on service to us and they genuinely seemed to love their jobs. That we had to leave ! Seriously, 4 days went by so fast.

- Joanne (10/5): Tranquil green, authentic indian palace, foodie paradise - Centrally located in Jaipur in a tranquil green oasis. We loved the painted interiors and furnishings with coffee table mementos from the past. The amazing breakfast (banana pancakes) under the veranda with view of the banyan tree, aperitif in the courtyard bar and delicious dinner (dal makhani curry slow cooked like a thick chocolate sauce) under the stars with friendly musicians. The pool, the spa steam room and a facial (I fell asleep during so heavenly!) and body massage was perfect! Jaipur is a fun place to stay 4 nights, we did a block painting workshop, a cooking class with a ‘master chef’ family as well as the bazaars, the city palace and museums. I could spend my whole holiday in the Samode and in Jaipur! The kids experienced a lot here. So lovely. We will return! Whilst our ‘upgraded’ rooms had the structure of an Indian palace and were spacious and comfortable we found their grey and white painted walls a little sober for a hotel famous for its extensively painted interiors.
The pool only opens at 8 am (after cleaning) which makes it a bit late for a tourist schedule as it’s best to leave early to visit places. I would have checked before I accepted the upgrade whether the rooms we had booked were more colourful and closer to the pool. The bar in the front courtyard was lovely but closes a little early for us at 9 pm. We like to play board games and cards with our family. That’s just a detail on the overall great stay. Thank you to the staff of the Samode Haveli!

- Rory (9/5): - Beautiful property that feels like an oasis from the hectic city. Thoughtfully restored and decorated to feel authentic. Food was great. Drinks are a little on the pricey side but the spots to have drinks are all stunning so it feels mostly worth it. Staff are all really welcoming and friendly.
- Karen (10/5): - Do not miss the moring tour, it was the highlight of our trip. Food was great. We used their transfer service to Delhi it was great and very fast and reliable. would throughly recommend.
- Jens (10/5): - Absolutely just perfect Nothing to complain about

- Jeanne (5/5): - The garden, the beautiful architecture, the massage! Slow service, menu for 60 year olds, no innovation for I guess 30 years. It felt like stepping into a hotel that would have been fabulous in the 1990s but since then hasn't stepped up! For 500 euros per night, it was a dissapointment. I don't write reviews often but I was a female traveller alone and was really sad as it was supposed to be a gift to myself.

- Rajita (9/5): Wonderful stay in Jaipur - Absolutely beautiful setting. Great service and dinner was fantastic especially the thali. Breakfast could be better quality especially the breads.
- Sumit (10/5): it is a beautiful property with downtwon location, rooms are big with great decor and perfectly made - Meals were very delicious & highly curated Since it is a heritage property, sometimes the way to your rooms is confusing
- Sonali (10/5): Very comfortable - The stay was exceptional 👏 comfortable and very courteous staff especially simram at the reception and rajdeep in the restaurant
- Vaishali (9/5): -
- Elspeth (9/5): In a garden room again, but the bath had bedn removed. - Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, but thought the pot of tea could have been more generous. I felt couples received more attentive service because they were more critical of the food, but that only happened on the first night.
- Anicka (10/5): - Beautiful hotel with lots of character. The architecture and decor is stunning. The staff are extremely friendly and hard working. Last visited 10 years ago, will return!

- sarah (10/5): A truly magical hotel - Exceptionally beautiful buildings and spaces - every corner is unique and stunning. Staff were wonderful, room was comfortable and the food delicious. Nothing - wish we could have stayed longer!

- anna (7/5): - Lovely hotel, in a remote place, a bit of a maze to find the room, nice massage in a spa, good gym and pool
- Jonathan (10/5): A beautiful property and a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. - Beautiful heritage property in centre of Jaipur. Polite and professional staff and good restaurant. Bedroom had a faint odour of smelly feet!
- Natasa (9/5): A stunning heritage building with the most incredible interior decoration and detailing. It’s a very tranquil and welcom - Beautiful heritage building and stunning interior decoration. N/A

- Khilan (9/5): Beautiful and charming stay in Jaipur - Beautiful and charming property located in central Jaipur, close to sites and perfect as a base to explore the area. Rooms were stylish and comfortable. Staff and service was excellent, especially the concierge Raj and his team. We booked a driver (Ghanshyam) and guide (Laxman) who were great and took us around some of the main sites. Food in the restaurant was good quality. Spa and treatment offering not the best

The food was exceptional and the dining area is so lovely. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a fantastic room. This haveli exceeded my highest expectations. We loved it so much we already know we will be back.

- Katharine (8/5): A grand, luxurious stay in a magnificent Haveli - The property is magnificent. Lavishly decorated, huge rooms, super clean and comfortable. The Haveli is an extraordinary place to stay. I chose Samode Haveli because, last year, it was listed #6 on Condé Nast’s list of the 20 best hotels in India. My expectations were high because I’ve stayed in some of the others. Unfortunately, Samode Haveli doesn’t quite match up to the other hotels when comparing staff and the approach to hospitality, but it does make up for it in the grand setting. Don’t miss the unadvertised tour of the property. It’s well worth it! Slow laborious check in, first room I was given was not to my liking. It’s subjective, but the bed was right in front of the entrance door and room very dark.
Breakfast is excellent if you stick to ordering from the kitchen. I didn’t think much of the buffet and the music was not to my liking. That said, the breakfast staff is to be commended.

Staff very attentive. Very good position. Everything was jive and pleasant
- Mel (10/5): Delightful splurge - Stunning surrounds. The rooms were divine and extremely comfortable. The dining was delicious as were the cocktails by the pool. Nothing at all.

- Akane (10/5): Unforgettable stay in Jaipur - The staff members are exceptional. They kindly supported us to wear sarees which we brought. We really enjoyed having dinner with the sarees. The atmosphere of the property is quite nice.
- Kahiri (10/5): -
- Karen (10/5): - From the moment we drove into the property it was obvious we found some where special.
The check-in area is hand painted and beautiful - for a giggle you can find a painting with a tiger biting a bum.
Room was unbelievably spacious with a sit out and balcony - both were fantastic for nights after running around Jaipur. Bed was very comfortable as well.
Restaurant was excellent - so much food and so good. So good. We wound up eating at hotel every night. Breakfast was also wonderful. Watermelon juice and poha were yummy. Great selection of items to choose from.
Cannot recommend this place enough for anyone spending time in Jaipur!
- Nourhene (10/5): - Everything was perfect Nothing
- Kevin (9/5): “A Royal Oasis in the Heart of Jaipur” - The relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful rooms. Taxi’s, services, food and drinks are a bit expensive.
- Nessrine (8/5): Truly magical amenities, but mix feeling as they over charge for everything with price that are close or higher than in - The property itself, it is really nice Overcharging everything..! It is crazy, almost 5€ for a Perrier, dinner costs ~30€ with random main and juice.
- Daniela (10/5): A jewel of a hotel - a must visit - Amazing property, hospitality, restaurant and staff we can fully recommend. We liked everything
- Jacob (10/5): The facilities were outstanding and the hospitality was top-notch. - The hospitality was amazing! Right from the beginning at the check-in process to the service at the restaurant and bar and at the pool.
We got an upgraded room and when we received room service it came quickly and was presented to us so perfectly. It was our honeymoon and we were made to feel so special.

- Lianne (10/5): -
- Namita (9/5): Excellent experience of staying In a haveli turned into a hotel - The ambiance The route to reach the property
- Carlos (10/5): The place to stay in Jaipur let down by the "Hard Sell". - Luxurious authentic Haveli with excellent facilities including an enormous pool, well appointed spa and numerous bars.
We really enjoyed our short stay and appreciated the efforts of the many members of staff. Breakfast was outstanding with all the finer details taken care of. Our room was simply impeccable.
The place to stay in Jaipur. The "hard sell" of their ridiculously overpriced excursions and transfers.
This sort of property should consider themselves beyond charging over ten times the going rate for a transfer to the Railway Station. Very disappointing.
