- Roy (9/5): Excellent hotel in a fabulous location with great staff. - The hotel is in the very heart of the town, located across the road from the ferries and the local bus stops. Our junior suite was very spacious and comfortable in a classical Italian style, in keeping with the historic nature of the hotel. Our room qualified us for free entry to the onsite spa facilities which were excellent. The staff were all very helpful although we didn’t all speak the same language, we always managed. Of course, there was one member of the team who spoke fluent English and ensured our stay was as good as the hotel hopes for all their guests. All of the rooms had shutters on the windows which the housekeeping staff always closed, for good reason of course, the heat is kept away during the day and the street noise at night. However, opening them does take a little getting used to and you do need three hands at times, but the staff will help if you ask. Although the bathroom is very modern and always kept very clean the shower is rather small, if, like me you are very tall and large, but we managed.

Удобное, красивое, логистически комфортное. * Персонал — дружелюбный, отзывчивый, стараются помочь, создают приятное общее впечатление. * Чистота — в отеле и номере поддерживается хороший уровень чистоты. * Завтрак — стандартный, без неприятных сюрпризов, но и без каких-то особенностей. * Фасад здания — в плохом состоянии. Видно, что давно не было ремонта: отходит краска и штукатурка. Для такого расположения это выглядит особенно неуместно и сильно портит первое впечатление. * Балконы — визуально запущенные, с черными пятнами, полностью отсутствует эстетика. * Несоответствие номера фотографиям — это ключевой минус: * номер оказался другой формы и визуально меньше, * отсутствуют элементы декора (в частности шторы), * в итоге атмосфера скорее «стерильная», чем уютная — ближе к больничной, чем к итальянскому стилю, который ожидаешь. * Эстетика номера — слабая. Нет ощущения «итальянского духа», который был заявлен на фото. * Кровать — скрипит при движении, что влияет на комфорт. Отдельно стоит отметить, что стоимость более 500 евро за 2 ночи в текущем состоянии — это явно завышено и не соответствует уровню номера и общему качеству размещения.

- Dario (3/5): Delusi - Al check in ci hanno accompagnato al ristorante dato che non avevamo prenotato per tempo un taxi, i due ragazzi che facevano il turno serale sono stati molto disponibili. Siamo entrati in camera e siamo rimasti subito delusi dalle dimensioni, ma trattandosi di una sola notte abbiamo deciso di adattarci. Tuttavia, lo spazio era talmente ridotto che non si riusciva nemmeno a girare attorno al letto, con armadio e scrivania praticamente attaccati. Il phon non funzionava: abbiamo chiamato e ce ne hanno portato un altro, ma anche quello era guasto. Inoltre, l’acqua calda non usciva e la serratura della camera non funzionava correttamente. Al momento del check-out ho segnalato tutti i problemi alla reception, ma non ho ricevuto alcuna scusa: si sono limitati ad annotare tutto su un taccuino. Decisamente un’esperienza negativa per 150 euro. Ci si aspetta almeno che i servizi funzionino e che il personale sia disponibile a proporre soluzioni o a farsi carico dei problemi. Sicuramente non tornerò.

Sehr freundliches Personal und ansprechendes Frühstück mit tollem Ausblick. Der Wellness-Bereich ist leider nur gegen einen happigen Aufpreis zugänglich, wurde deshalb nicht genutzt.

La posizione ottima. Mancava la macedonia fresca. Il bagno era troppo piccolo. Mancava un deposito bici adeguato.

- Curtis (10/5): Highly recommend from every aspect! - The property was located in midst of center center so it was super easy to reach all of the top spots. The staff was very helpful, room was perfect, AC was super great and breakfast was excellent. Such great history of the hotel mixed with luxury!

- ANTONIO (10/5): Abbiamo soggiornato al Mayer in occasione della stragardalake 2026. - Albergo storico in ottima posizone con camera vista lago. Meraviglioso servizio parchgeggio con navetta. Personale cortese e disponibile. Camera pulitissima. Colazione generosa con anche prodotti senza glutine. In occasione della Stragardalake servizio di check-out posticipato per permettere a noi atleti di farci la doccia post gara. ( non ci era mai capitato! ) CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

- Truong (9/5): Peccato aver avuto poco tempo per godercela. Tornermo - la posizione centralissima e fronte lago, Moolto comodo da raggiungere in macchina e parcheggi (cose non scontate per Desenzano).
