- johnston (5/5): Cute place if you get the right room and do not care about the hot tubing pool. Walking distance - I enjoyed the second room I got. #28 was recently remodeled. I loved how close it is to main st. The staff was mostly nice. The main reason I picked this place was because it was smaller with a hot tub. It had no hot tub. When I inquired about the hot tub the staff told me s*** happens . The pool is dirty. The first room I had #19 had the strongest oder .

I have to be honest. I was really looking forward to the pool. It needs updates. My mom and I reluctantly went in but quickly got out. That's my only negative.

He enjoys sitting outside. - My sister and I brought my parents to go to San Juan to the Baslicia and to see family in Hondo and they have been thru Fredrickburg but had never stopped. - David (5/5): If you have to stay here it’s bearable but if you want true comfort look for something else. - Great location, it had a good ceiling fan and the water pressure was excellent The door had a WIDE gap at the bottom, you could see daylight and bugs coming thru the bottom. The neighbors were door slammers and we could feel the vibration of it in our room.

- Adele (8/5): Quaint and Quiet Motel - The room was clean, quiet, and quaint, but not a lot of amenities due to age, but did have a refrigerator and microwave! Because I was by myself, I had chosen a room with one queen size bed. However, there was no information that it was on a second floor with a huge flight of stairs to climb to get to it and no elevator, and I have a knee issue that requires walking with a cane! The stairs created a problem with access and required a lot of effort and carefulness on my part! Will probably choose not to stay here again.

- Melissa (1/5): First stay on Thursday was amazingly comfortable not so much on the following Monday! - Property is quite but our room was dirty. Previous tenants left the refrigerator full of food and drinks and it was not cleaned up by staff. Bed sheets were all messed up under the comforter as if they were laid on already. I paid same amount for one room and decided I liked it came back on a Monday just to request the same room and got one upstairs not what I was expecting.

We always travel with our dog and this is a very pet friendly property. We were even upgraded to a larger unit than what we had reserved. Very nice and friendly property.

The room has not had a renovation since the 1960's with antiquated tiles, no soap / shampoo dispensers, old tub and plumbing, very small and the bed was not really comfortable. The room (#15) was not like room 9 where I stayed just 2 weeks earlier that had been renovated.
