Guest Reviews
- Daniel Brvnišťan (5/5): For one punk night max - Location is great. Nice roof top terrrace available. Sheets and bathroom were dirty. Staff was a bit confused, asked for our IDs twice. We booked two rooms with AC, but once the AC in the other room stopped working after a few hours, staff told us that we paid only for one room with AC so we should not complain.

- Qaisar (8/5): - Location Charges

- WorldGlobetrotter (2/5): Not safe, bad located, very cold rooms and unfriendly staff. Do not stay in this hotel. - The place was fairly clean. Other than that, I don’t have positive comments. The hotel is near a train station (“Agra Fort”) which is not the one that you will use because trains from/to Delhi and Jaipur are in “Agra Cantonment”. The hotel has no elevator and I was not helped with my luggage. The terrace has a cage, but with a big opening running horizontally between the cage and the wall from where monkeys can sneak into. I needed to stay at the computer and the terrace would have been ideal (also for breakfast), but I did not trust: monkeys were passing in the poles just in front and they are aggressive so I stayed locked in my room: when I was crossing the bridge to reach the hotel, a monkey tried twice to attack me for no reason and I was so lucky that a guy who was passing by protected me (monkeys perfectly know the difference between locals and white people like me and thousands of people die in India every year due to rabies carried by stray dogs and monkeys). It is not possible to close the window in the bathroom which is dangerous for monkeys and also made the room very cold (having a shower was a nightmare). The window in the room was broken so cold air was entering and even though I made a plaster with wet toilet paper to seal the opening, I was freezing and could not sleep. I could pay by card, but I was overcharged for their commissions: I mean, if price is 100 I don’t give them 98 because my bank will charge me 2, so they must not charge me 102 if price is 100. Each part pays its own fees. Price is a gross number, it is not the net revenue. The receptionist was talkative before my arrival and until the moment when I paid, but then he totally ignored me without even say “good morning” (which I later found out it is sadly a common behaviour in India). I booked with them also the transfer to Jaipur with visit in Fatehpur, but the driver was hurrying me while visiting and did not drop me off at the foothill of the site in order to push me to waste time and money with a tourist cart that connects the parking lot to the mosque.
- Anonymous (8/5): - 1. It was close to the Agra Fort railway station.
2. Friendly staff.
3. Meals could be ordered and delivered to the room. Hot water, which was heated and stored in a tank, was insufficient for the whole hair washing and shower process.

- Ailsa (6/5): Not the fanciest place but clean and warm shower, close to train station. - Very handy for Agra fort train station. Nice big bed
- OISHI (6/5): -
- Janneke (7/5): Prima plek - Centraal gelegen locatie.
The food was tailor-made for me as a guest, it was perfect! The cok was a very nice man who tried to make an conversation with me (he didn't speak English very well). So he was a very kindly man!
Heel fijn dat ze een buitenplaats hebben! Erg veel straatlawaai!
Tv was erg verouderd
- Komaragiri (1/5): Waste of money - Waste. Staff worst. Bed sheets worst
- Aman (7/5): -
- Mainak (7/5): Good -
- Adrian (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (3/5): Poor - The bed was really unconfortable, you can hear everything from the street. Also, there is an open window in the bathroom so any bug or animal can enter
- Antyong (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tapas (6/5): It was moderate and satisfactory. - Lift facility and Restaurant were not available. However, The Hotel provided meals from their facilities with some common items. Behaviors of the staff and management are excellent. Safety arrangement such as fire hydrant and sprinklers are provided as an preventive measure. It is nice and safe to stay their. But, since the area is a market place and busy area, lot of noise are their. More trained and efficient staff and other facilities like Restaurant, Washing, Car Parking, more cleanness are needed to attract sophisticated guests.
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Debbrata (1/5): Bad -
- Naung (6/5): Pleasant -
- Matteo (9/5): Good stay in Agra - Good location close to Agra station, to the Agra fort, and to market areas. Staff was helpful and kind. Cold shower.
- Eva (9/5): Superb - The staff were accommodating location was good (although in a busy area and you needed ear plusgs to sleep at night), and there was hot water. They gave us toilet paper too. The common area had table to sit and eat, etc We gave our clothes to wash but they were also ironed and pants got damaged a bit (so make sure you say you don't need ironing). But the hotel owner/manager kindly compensated us for it partially and it wasn't really their fault since the local person had done it.
Overall the property and facilities are a bit old.
- Samsuddin (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (7/5): Excellent location, nice room - Hotel Ajay International is very close to Agra Fort railway station (and Agra Fort!) and the central area of Agra, surrounded by shops, stalls, eateries and everything one might need. Staff are friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and the shower was hot. The room had a window, but only with a view of an adjacent building. Most off Agra's attractions are within walking distance. I have no specific complaints about the hotel.
- Shalini (9/5): Superb -
- Kumar (5/5): Passable -
- José (10/5): Ajay International - a gem in Agra - The staff us welcoming, friendly and we stayed in a beautiful room with a big bed, with a private bathroom with hot running water. The views from the terrace are towards the bazar and it's pleasurable to sit outside and enjoy.

Air.condition was at a constant 18 degrees, you cannnot use it. However, there was a fan.
- Adam (9/5): Superb - We really liked this room on the second floor.
The room is large, the bed is huge and comfortable and the shower was fantastic.
Highly recommended if you need a place near the Agra fort train station for an early departure for example but good in any case. Nothing to say
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is a good and honest man.
- Rad (1/5): Bad -
- Agnes (7/5): Good - The food was delicious, and for my request they really left out chilli from the meal ( usually I get it with so called "little bit chilly" ) It was very cold in Agra, the room was cold, there was no heating option
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gareth (10/5): Cheap hotel with helpful staff in a handy location for travellers - Handily placed to the train station. Staff very helpful. Nice outdoor sitting area on the first floor. Very good price. A little noisy with trains throughout the night but wasn’t much of a problem
- K (1/5): Very bad experience.... Worst i would say, wont advice anyone to visit - No ventulation
Room was full was mosquitoes
Bedsheets were not clean
Water was not provided
The staff was too rude to talk And not at all supportive... One of the morning staff started fight with me for a mere issue that i paid online in place of cash for a water bottle.

- Azeez (8/5): Very good -
- Grzegorz (7/5): Good -
- Abid (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dr (10/5): Good - Staff behaviour and food
- Md Nazrin (8/5): - Place is within bazaar area and next to jama masjid. Place is cold.
- Patrick (6/5): Very close to the train station! - This hotel is all about its’ proximity to the train station which is the reason we picked it due to a very early train the following morning. The local area is not nice and the hotel is very dated and in need of some work. That said, it was reasonably clean, safe and had hot water when we needed it!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cheap. Get what you pay. - Room ok. Staff tries to help, but not very qualified.
Neighbourhood very dirty.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Pathetic Hotel Please Never Ever Stay Here. - Dear All, I Stayed at this hotel for just one day and believe me no one should stay here for an hour. At the time of booking the hotel I called the hotel staff and confirmed all the details, I also asked him that we will check in at 8:00 AM do I have to pay anything extra?? He said no sir you just book the hotel and you don't have to pay any extra charges. On the very next day when we reached the hotel at 8:00 AM the cunning manager Mr. Gajendra told me that You will have to pay 500 Rs Extra as you are checking in early, So I reminded him about our discussion and then he said " Sir, you must have talked with my Waiter, he is not authorized to make any commitments" I was shocked this is how they will fool you. At the time of booking they will promise you everything but after booking when you will reach the Hotel they will start giving you lessons on "RULE BOOK" Gajendra was talking like a MAFIA and he was not ready for any kind of compromise, I also asked him to return my money he said " Its not possible" it means everything is possible till the time you have not make the payments, but once the booking is done and payment is done all options are closed. Hence I would request all travelers not to book this hotel.
- R.A (6/5): Very cheap hotel but not recommended - very cheap hotel but not recommended.location, cleanliness etc are worst than expected
- Paul (4/5): Better hotels - Hotel staff nice and friendly and offered a quick check in at 2.30am when train was 4 and half hours delayed.
Bedsheets and blanket dirty, strained and hairs.
Room itself was clean.
No shower handle/ tap in bathroom so couldn't use shower on.
Close to Taj Mahal and next to Agra Fort train station.
- Helge (8/5): Helt ok men inget mer.
- Yi Hsun (6/5): Nice stay but quite noisy during night - Comfortable bed
A Índia é a Índia!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Budget Hotel - + Everything except the towels (but you could still use them) was clean.
+ The bed was very big, comfortable and clean.
- The bathroom turns into a lake after you took a shower, they should provide something to dry the floor.
- very close to the railway Station, you heard the loudspeaker announcements all night long. But if you don't have a light sleep, it might not be a problem
- Chan (10/5): Right next to Agra Fort Railway Station. - Staff members are kind and nice. They try to provide good services. There is a restaurant on second floor and foods are not bad. You can enjoy while watching roadview. Room and toilet were relativley clean comparing with other Indian hotels. Reasonable priced hotel.
