After a couple days we could smell musty when we walked in room and asked for air con to be cleaned which they did straight away Beds are to soft as you sink to bottom. Pool is between the buildings and doesn’t see much sun so pool is really cold. Really basic breakfast but can get eggs and bacon to order. Staff are friendly and try to help wherever needed. Good lower end price hotel. Great location for shops and popular restaurants. 5 minute walk to beach.

Breakfast had many options but wasn’t ever hot it was Luke warm almost cold otherwise it was amazing we ate at the restaurant to that was amazing!! Took one of there couple massages wow !! Wonderful team couldn’t fault that experience it was wonderful thank you 🙏 we would definitely come back again thank you 🙏
- Shaila (10/5): - I had a fantastic stay at The Sun Hotel & Spa Legian Bali. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and local shops. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful. The hotel’s spa services were a highlight, offering a truly relaxing experience. The only downside was the occasional noise from the surrounding area, but it didn’t affect my stay too much. I’ll definitely return for another visit!

- John (4/5): - I have stayed here quite a few times and it was good.It's been 4 years since I last stayed and I must say it's gone really down, while everyone else used the down time during Covid to upgrade their property, it looks like this one was shut down, I was given a room on the second floor and it stunk of mould. I wanted to move out but they wouldn't give me a refund, they did give me a room on the 4th floor and that was better. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat there, I ate across the alley at Champlung Mas, which has been upgraded and is very good. Just a word of advice, the shower cubicles are tiny, 650mmx650mm with a fixed shower, it's very hard to wash and I'm not big.Sorry to be so negative but this was a real let down.

The room smelled very wet and muggy, the bathroom and shower had black mold, the king bed was two twins pushed together so there was a huge seam down the middle, it was very loud at night and the pool was shaded and also loud.

If there was anything wrong, staff were more than happy to fix it. Example aircon wasn’t working properly and it was looked at straight away. Staff were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was ok but we ate out at nearby places often. The entertainment in the bar was great. I would stay here again

- jeff (6/5): Good value, problematic location - Value is the best attribute of this 3 star hotel, constructed about 10 years ago. For a building only 10 years old, you'll notice it's in relatively poor condition. There are some roof leaks in some upper floor hallways, deteriorating paint in many areas, and various (usually minor) plumbing and electrical problems. The hotel had 3 power shutdowns over 2 week period while I was there, lasting about 1-2 hours each. WiFi is average, with occasional slow transfer rates.The hotel is located in a densely populated area with a high-traffic, narrow road as access. It's about a 10 minute walk to the awesome beach. Positives include the helpful staff, elevators, many services close by, and a low-cost (about $4 USD) buffet breakfast.

They offered a change of room without me asking but I didn’t want the inconvenience. When I removed the doona from it’s cover as it was too warm it was very badly stained. All in all you get what you pay for but I expected better
