• Bruce (10/5): - The property and staff were just FANTASTIC!! This little property is perfect in every way! Beds were comfortable. A/C was very cool. Kitchen was equipped - cleaning service was provided. Pool is nice and cool and clean! THis place is a hidden GEM! I really do not like posting about these types of places - because this is the BEST kept secret on the island! Perfect in every way!

• Richard (10/5): - This is the perfect location to be close enough to Holetown to walk to beach and restaurants … days and night very safe … much quieter on Sunset Crest, Poui Ave than being on beachfront and main beach road. A very nice residential area.

• Helen (10/5): - The apartments are beautiful and modern inside. Could use some shade outside the apartment. The pool is really nice and up kept. Location is a little far. Property manager is great:)
• Mark (8/5): Regent Apartments Holetown - Great location in a quiet residential area of Holetown. 250 metres from the beach (6 or 7 minute walk), restaurants and supermarket. Up a slight incline hill. Felt perfectly safe at any time of day. Bus stop at the bottom of the hill for easy access to the fun buses north and south. Apartment itself is fine and comfortable, but no frills. Some of the apartments on the complex look a little shabby from the outside. Nice little pool for a cool off but prob not nice enough to spend a whole day lounging around. All in all a nice enough stay but certainly no frills. Has potential to be fantastic but needs some money spent and updating.

• peter (8/5): Quite & Convenient - Only a 4 night stay as reason for the visit was to spend time with a family member who lived nearby so convenience was a priority Quietly located in a side road and also near to shops & restaurants if these were required. About 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach. Pool was a a nice feature

• sarah (8/5): Cute comfortable apartment - Small reasonable sized apartments - suitable for short stays/ couples - kept relatively clean with cutlery. Wifi worked perfectly. Is about a 13-minute walk from lime grove shopping centre. Wouldnt personally walk down the road during the dark - better accessible with a car - plenty of available parking. The only thing to moan about was the water pressure - possible only limited to my room - but experienced a limited flow of hot water. Looks exactly like the photos - no complaints about overall confort

We had a few issues when we arrived - dirty oven & a problem with the shower tap but they were dealt with immediately which was great. Will definitely stay there again if we go back to Barbados

• jan (10/5): Short stay - Came here to see my terminally ill sister, so ii was a traumatic experience especially as she died whilst I was here. The apartment was a wonderful bolt hole for me to cry in peace. The bedroom air conditioned and I really needed that. Janet Precious
• samjean (6/5): Comfortable - very quiet, within walking distance to shops and local transportation. Plenty of buses to explore the entire island. Nice pool but no sun umbrellas which showed in brosure. Employees were very helpful and informative about the area.The entire island was out of power when we arrived and everyone was very helpful and understanding, it wasn't their fault. It was sort of entertaining as everyone was walking around with their flashlights and white bags from the only grocery with generator power.fh

• Lynsey (8/5): Nice - Location is great: close to beach, shops and bus stop. Swimming pool is good size and sun beds comfy. Pool towels available on request. Maid service is every other day. Apartment was basic but comfortable. The shower was disappointing: head fixed to wall and poor pressure. The gap in the pushed-together mattresses was uncomfortable. Aircon was in bedroom only and only had one setting (but was ok). No laundry facility. However I would definitely be happy to return and stay at Regent Apartments again

• Patricia (4/5): - The apartment looked like pictures but it was just that. The air. condtioner was one setting only. The fan made too much noise to sleep. When complain told to run the fan on low. Tv volume didn't work. The stove didn't work properly Very disappointed because the grounds outside was well maintained the pool area was relaxing. Was not worth the price we paid. Pat

• william A (6/5): A fair walk to shops and restaurants - After12 hrs journey there was no one to meet us and the place was in darkness OurTaxi driver was worried about leaving us The same thing when we ended our holiday ,we cleared the room by 11am and there was no one in the office to see us off It ended by me leaving the keys on the handle of the office As it was holiday accommodations we were surprised there were 4 cats in one room and 4 more in another
• Verified traveler (6/5): Decent, no frills hotel. A bit off the beaten path - There's no check- in desk, therefore, you have to coordinate a meeting time with the manager. That was a bit off putting because of my delay and the need to keep calling to keep her abreast. The room was decent but the hotel is a bit off the beaten path. The pictures is not a true representation of the actual property. The staff was quite friendly.
• Denay (6/5): Very spacious Apartment - Loved the conditions made me felt like I was home. Very spacious living room for entertaining and decent size kitchen. There is a ton of space in the bedroom. It is located close to shops and dining options with several beach options nearby.

• Adrian (8/5): A relaxing stay at Regent Apartments - We had a lovely fortnights stay at Regent Apartments and found the location as well as the accommodation were both lovely. Do not expect 5 star, but for a basic and clean base to explore Barbados this is ideal. Janice and the staff are all keen to help, so do not hesitate to call them if any thing isn't quite right.
• Maria (8/5): Good times during my stay - Nice little studio apartment. Ideal to have a car rental as its a bit "far" from the entertainment side of Barbados. Close to Lime Grove mall. Walking distance to beach. Quite neighbors. Overall good times
• Marsha (10/5): My 1st visit to Holetown, St. James, Barbados - I've previously vacationed on Barbados for over 10 years but, never in St. James. My visit was from Dec. 26 to Jan 9. This was a great experience. The neighbor and surrounding homes/apartments were well maintained. The Regent cottages and pool were pleasant, clean and also well maintained. The kitchen was stocked as expected (pots, dishes, silverware). I brought my own can opener, beach towels and blender. Leisure 15+ minute walk to beach, grocery store, shopping, restaurants, clubs and local transportation to any other part of the island. "Everyone", was welcoming, friendly and helpful.
• Sue (4/5): Spacious apartment close to beach - Clean place in a quiet residential area. Kitchen well equipped. Large bedroom. Beach, grocery store, and restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint was that the shower head was corroded and the water pressure in the shower was very low.
• Ray (6/5): Decent value for Holetown if a bit basic - The bed was the best feature of this conveniently located apartment - very large and comfortable. The facilities in the apartment need refurbishing: TV not working, shower just a tepid trickle, and someone presumably had nicked or broken most of the kitchen equipment. Pool was fine, pool towels supplied if you ask, air con worked well; safe somewhat pointless as it wasn't bolted down to anything...
• Horace&Shantel (10/5): This hotel was amazing, we had a great time there. - a 1 bedroom apartment close to the beach and shopping. The bus to town is a quick walk away. Staff was great and everything was clean. Will stay there anytime we visit the island. Loved the experience.
• Daniel (4/5): Difficult place to stay, could be much better - My group rented three rooms, so we were able to experience all the problems this hotel had to offer, some of them 2 or 3 times over: - Toilets made screeching noise after flushing - 1 toilet's flush system kept breaking, requiring you to reach into the nasty tank. - Refrigerators did not keep cold. - Safes in two rooms did not function - Shower did not drain - Iron leaked water onto clothing The problem is, the location was not bad (10 minute walk to the beach or bus), and the rooms were quite spacious. It was that all of the finer details that were completely forgotten or done wrong which made this a miserable place to stay. One other challenge is that the A/C was only available in the bedroom. It wasn't really necessary there, because it was pretty cool at night. However, during the day, you might want to hang out in the living room area (which was spacious), but it was too hot there due to no A/C. Luckily, the wifi worked well.
• H (8/5): Lovely apartment close to great beaches - The apartment was simple, clean and in a great location. The Property Manager, Janice, was extremely helpful and assisted us with car hire, phone chargers and several other things. The pool was clean and there were plenty of sun loungers. We had fresh towels every day and the bed was made up daily. There is AC in the bedroom and a safe in each apartment.
• Sab (4/5): Not nice not close to beach - Quit a bit different to how it appears on the website, a windowless room with a cage on the front. This is not what you expect for the price.
• CornwallClive (6/5): Uphill to peaceful Caribbean - Regent Apts in Poui Ave [We come from Looe!] lends itself to communal gatherings and overall we enjoyed our stay, especially because of the friends we made there. The location is Caribbean, including the barking dogs, but it is 600m uphill from the best beach and supermarket. One day, a troupe of monkeys wandered past; no doubt on their banana walk. Without Janice to complain to, the place would fall apart. In 3 wks we went through 3 fridges and the cookers are from the Arc. Essentially the place needs a complete update except for the pool, although there is no shade provided from the sun [the parasol in the picture is a dream].
