• Fay Gemma (10/5): - We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our holiday at Palm Oasis for lots of reasons: 1) Its location is easy. 2) The cleanliness of the whole hotel is immaculate. 3) The care of the plantation is second to non which is lovely to see in such a rain deprived island. 4) The staff were super friendly and accommodating. 5) The apartment was super big, tidy and clean with a balcony bigger than any room in our own home. 6) We will definitely go back and we would definitely recommend it to others.

El mobiliario del apartamento estaba muy nuevo, y todo muy limpio. El personal no ha podido ser más agradable y amable. Recomendable 100%!!!

El desayuno excelente mucha variedad. La habitación súper bien y grande con pedazo de terraza con hamacas. En conclusión si repetimos volveremos .

• Rowdy Steven van (10/5): - I had an amazing stay at this hotel — everything was simply perfect. The highlight was definitely the large, sparkling swimming pool, which was always clean and inviting. Surrounding the pool is a beautifully maintained garden filled with tall palm trees, creating a peaceful and tropical atmosphere. One of my favorite spots was the cozy terrace near the pool. It offered a great selection of drinks, perfect for relaxing under the sun. The service was excellent, and the setting made it feel like a little oasis. Another big plus was the stunning view over Maspalomas. Whether during the day or at sunset, the scenery was truly breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful and well-kept environment.
• Joy (10/5): Que dire à part... a l'année prochaine ! - C'est notre 3ème séjour dans cet hôtel et comme chaque année se fut un vrai plaisir d'y séjourner. Nous n'avons pas eu la chambre que nois voulions initialement mais finalement nous avions vu sur la piscine au dernier étage et c'etait tout aussi bien, donc merci beaucoup de nous avoir attribué ces chambres. La femme de chambre Laura etait adorable. Les chambres sont toujours aussi propres et le ménage bien fait. La piscine est un véritable petit paradis,nous avons même trouvé que l'eau était encore plus chaude que les autres années, on y rentre aussi facilement que dans son bain. Le revêtement extérieur de la première piscine a été refait et très bien refait. Nous avons hâte de revenir. Honnêtement si les horaires du petit-déjeuner (10h max en hiver) pouvait être un peu etendu et la qualité des mets proposés au dîner le soir amélioré, cet hôtel serait la perfection. En attendant ce jour, on se contente de la formule appart-hotel et on revient chaque année avec le même plaisir.

• Karen (10/5): - Absolutely fabulous hotel. We stayed in a studio apartment which was Absolutely massive! Immaculately clean, beds so very comfortable. Room cleaned every day. Well equipped. Pools warm and super clean. Lovely jacuzzi pool. Plenty of sunbeds. Good, reasonable poolside bar, serving good menu selection, drinks and icecreams, good prices. Staff friendly. Water slide for kids. Two pools, bottom one with slide seemed to be more family orientated. Plenty sunbeds & umbrellas, and also shade from palms and pergodas. Some entertainment in the evening, but no mini disco. Aldi opposite, and a few restaurants a couple of minutes away. Taxis and buses right outside the hotel, as you really are away from Maspalomas and beach. Would recommended a car, as we did. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Absolutely wondwrdul, classy feel.
• Audrey (10/5): Un des meilleurs endroits à Gran Canaria - Un des meilleurs endroits que j'ai pu faire, l'hôtel est super, tout est très propre, l'appartement est très grand et très bien équipé. La piscine parfaite ainsi que le restaurant très bien et très varié. Le personnel est vraiment très gentil. L'emplacement est très bien, nous avions un véhicule mais il y a des taxis disponibles.

• Jukka (6/5): Mainly positive things, but cockroaches in room... - Positive aspects: - Swimming area (heated pools and jacuzzi) - Tennis and minigolf included in the price - Spacious room and fridge, good main beds, nice terrace with sunbeds - Friendly cleaning persons and overall good cleanliness - Enough sunbeds in pool area. Nice and quiet pool and hotel area. - Good Aldi supermarket next to hotel. Easy to buy for example breakfast if you want to have cheaper option than hotel breakfast. Also great flexibility from hotel that you can buy/decide hotel breakfast for those days you want (decide day by day how you feel and want) - Enough free parking spaces next to hotel or 3 €/day parking places in hotel area Negative aspects: - Totally nine cockroaches in our room in five different days.. discusting. They tried special cleaning, but it did not help. I would not take garden level rooms anymore from this hotel. Main reason that we are not returning to this hotel. - Sofa bed.. worst sofa bed so far. Sun bed madresses as a extra madress made it ok for one child. Thanks for that tip from someone's review! - Blankets could be improved. Now separate bed sheet and thicker blanket. Typical in some hotels, but not the best option.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Mycket handdukar på solstolarna tyvärr.. - Vårt favorit hotell sedan många år , toppen härligt men tyvärr har det även här blivit så att man lägger ut handdukar för att boka solstol från kl 07 kanske vore bra om någon gick ett varv vid 9 tiden och samla in alla handdukar utan ägare :-)
• Anniken (8/5): Får det man betaler for - Stort hotell med mange rom. Vi bodde 4 stk (2 voksne + 2 barn) i en leilighet på 70 kvd med ett soverom og sovesofa i julen. Rommene er gamle, men veldig rent med rengjøring 6 dager i uken. Veldig harde senger, og kun trekk og teppe til å sove med. Ble litt kaldt i desember. Veldig fint bassengområde med sklie og jacuzzi. Kaldt badevann, men alle badet. Det finnes en barneklubb, men vil si den er av det dårligere hvis man er vant til å reise charter. Liten lekeplass og minigolf på hotellet. Vi hadde bil, så vi kom oss lett rundt. Mange plasser i nærheten, men ingen typisk gå-gate i umiddelbar nærhet. Matbutikk rett over gaten og flere ikke så langt unna. Alt i alt et fint, rimelig hotell. Man får det man betaler for. Fornøyd, men vil nok prøve et annet hotell neste gang.

Dock hade köket en del myror/flygor som fanns hela tiden vilket var lite äckligt.. även fast de kom dit och städade/sprayade något medel. Annars var de fint och städat och rymliga rum. Poolen var dessvärre lite kall så vi badade inte så mycket men ett bra poolområde fanns det.

• Josh (10/5): Great value for money, though a little dated. - Very good experience, was an extremely cheap deal. Location: location is good but a little far from things, but taxis are cheap and public transport available and also cheap. Hotel: it's a very nice looking hotel with a great vibe though it was quiet when we went and you can see the hotel was built a couple decades ago and haven't been renovated too much. Still very nice though. Facilities: hotel had all sorts facilities, 3 pools, pool, mini golf, tennis, basketball and a good view of maspalomas including the dunes in the distance. However the heated pools weren't heated much and we're too cold unless the weather was perfect Staff: very friendly and helpful, they even upgraded our room on arrival. Overall: overall the value for money really can't be beat and had a great stay, just wish it was longer!

Breakfast is well served, great size heated pools. Hotel staff were friendly and kudos to the housekeeping, everything was so clean!! Highly recommend it

• Charles (10/5): Great 3 star hotel. - This property for a 3 star is exceptional value for money, beautiful grounds. I would suggest a car if your stopping here couple of restaurants near small pizza bar love and hate great. I think shuttles are available. Parking on site couple of euros per day, safe a euro a day. Pool sude food and bar good value not over priced. Plenty of beds, massive pool. All in all great value property.

The fact that the pools are heated is a biiiig plus! The room was spacious, and the view from the balcony terrific! • Shahzia (8/5): - This is a gem of a find. The hotel grounds were very pretty, the pool was nice, clean and we did not have an issue getting loungers (we went off peak though). The villas were well kept and spacious. The staff we friendly and helpful at all times. There is a taxi rank around the corner from the property and a bus stop within short walking distance. Overall it was a good stay and we felt it was great for what we paid. The only negative was we had an issue with a cockroach in our room but that was not due to uncleanliness but common in the Canary Islands.
• Annette (10/5): - It is a true oasis. The pool is amazing and heated. The grounds are spotless and the gardens the best we have seen them. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We usually self cater here but this time opted for half board and we’re not disappointed. Buffet choice was good and staff were happy to help out my husband who has a dietary allergy. Only negative was the lack of a good lounge and bar area. As there is nowhere to walk to in the evening, you are left with two English to channels, a trip down to Maspalomas by car/taxi or your own entertainment. We have been to the hotel at least six times over the years and it never disappoints.

• Gillian (10/5): lovely peaceful, clean hotel spacious accomodation - Lovely hotel and gardens surrounding pool. Very pleasant staff and clean, well kept rooms and premises. A handful of restaurants nearby and parking around the corner on street but safe and easily available. We had hire car as we wanted to see the island and without I think we would have been a little isolated - it’s 20mins walk to Maspalomas and beach ( but I believe there is a hotel courtesy bus and taxis are just outside if needed). Didn’t use the restaurant or bar but looked nice enough. Overall quiet and peaceful.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - A lovely place and environment in general but 2 remarks: the coffee / espresso at the poolbar is not recommended and the bingo / gymnastics at the pool was disturbing due to too loud volume - too much charter. If needed at all it is recommended to lower the volume or remove the speakers. Many people there, like us, preferably would like to hear the birds singing instead. Peace and quiet please
• Lee (10/5): Perfect Paradise Hideaway - Fabulous location, gardens and pools. Great buffet food and really friendly staff. One recommendation was not to have unnecessarily blaring loud live music across outside speakers on a Sunday night when you might want to get some sleep at 10.30pm which we flagged with reception but they were not to helpful in asking the singer to turn the screeching volume down. It was so odd as the place was so tranquil and quiet and only had about 10 people in the outside bar watching the singer. The food in the Buffett was also a bit cold at breakfast but that was sorted by the chef. Other than that the rest was great. Definitely stay again. Only €3.50 in a taxi to Yumbo or Faro lighthouse. Perfect little paradise hideaway, apart from the live music nights.

The only thing that we can point out is that the sofa bed is very discomforting and I would not recommending to anyone on using it. I think you need to upgrade them.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - This was our first half board experience as we were now travelling with a young child. The hotel itself, we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. It’s getting close to needing general updating, lots of cracks and old damage, sometimes outdated furniture/furnishings, but otherwise very pleasant. The room was very spacious and so plenty of room for our little one to run around. The balcony area is also very generous and relaxing. The view over the pool area and palm trees was nice. A couple of oddities, the microwave is at floor oven height and so not easiest to use fiddling with buttons whilst bending over. Plus the hair dryer in the bathroom is completely pointless, it won’t be drying anything anytime soon! Bed was two singles pushed together, wasn’t until the middle of our 11 night stay we asked for this to be changed. They immediately put in a foam piece to bridge the beds. This was ok - but overall bed could have been more comfortable. The swimming pools were both very nice and spacious when we went over Easter, so although not summer, still fairly busy. The hot tub wasn’t the best. Bubbles only turned on intermittently and could’ve been hotter! Hotel also has a basic mini golf course which was good fun and reasonably priced at £3pp. Even had mini golf clubs for our little one. Underground parking was very convenient. Now to get to the biggest gripe we had, the food, a buffet, was just horrendous. I was sick on the third night. Full review on trip advisor
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely, welcoming property. Plenty of shopping/ restaurants in nearby Melonoras with easy walks along beachfront prom.
• Duncan (8/5): Overall very good stay at Palm Oasis - Recently stayed for 7 nights in a studio in block D top floor. Whilst overall the stay and zhotel is very good for the money there are a couple of issues to be mindful off. As previous clients have commented the grounds are beautiful and well maintained with two large swimming pools with plenty of good quality sun beds. Despite being advised at checkin not to place towels on sun beds when not in use this happens all the time,very irritating. The room is clean however the bathroom is in need of updating and the shower is hit and miss with the water fluctuating between hot and cold, that can be quite dangerous. Breakfast whilst has good choice and quality, it is chaotic, noisy with insufficient space and whilst there only one coffee machine worked most days therefore long queues formed. As a say, for the cost a good choice of hotel

• Noe (8/5): Beautiful setting - Beautiful setting and spacious rooms which are well serviced and clean. Pool area has plenty of beds and good facilities. Car required as hotel is a little isolated though offers bus to beach service.
• Cathal (10/5): Laura & Cathal - Absolutely fabulous hotel, pool area unreal & bar service and food was lovely...staff were very friendly and nice....rooms were cleaned every day which was great....only negative I have was our shower, it was useless...facing into the wall very hard to shower with it, had to take down shower head to rinse off...other than that I would highly recommend this for couples and families....taxi ride into Maspalomas / Playa del Ingles but you wouldn't mind that as hotel is so nice :)
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Great apartment with lots of room, great furnishings and outdoor space and kept very clean by the daily cleaning service. Well equipped with AC and fan. Only drops a point as the sofa bed was not very large or comfortable. Good food, pools and good service from everyone. A relatively quiet hotel complex and a short trip to the beach and centre but you know that when you book!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice Hotel - The hotel is very nice, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is also very nice. You can sit on the grass around the swimming pool which is very nice. The hotel is cery close to Meloneras which is a nice area at night, there is always taxis outside of the hotel as well. The breakfast was ok and there are some nice dishes to in the pool bar. Also the pizza was ok, the only thing that wasn’t great was dinner at the hotel.

• Craig (10/5): Annual family trip - As usual, the palm oasis did not disappoint. If you're looking for peace/relaxation in a beautiful setting then the palm oasis is perfect.
• Cat (8/5): - Very pleased with our stay at the Palm Oasis. Being in Sonnenland, it's a little more out of the way of the main drag but that's no bad thing and still close enough. We were in a apartment rather than a bungalow/ villa which was roomy enough, clean and a nice view down to the sea. Food was good and a reasonable price. Good on-site supermarket but there is a Spar round the corner. My son really enjoyed the mini club even when it included the hardest mini golf course we have ever been on lol All staff especially on reception were lovely. My only negative experience was a drunken guest who had a bad case of potty mouth at 4pm in the afternoon which resulted in a lot of families moving. I believe the one member of pool staff was aware but didn't seem to want to get involved. However, this wouldn't stop us going back.

• James (8/5): Nice hotel - We had a nice stay at the Palm Oasis. Beautiful setting and attractive pool area with well maintained gardens. Lovely apartment with a good view. However, there were a few issues; 1) Out of the two pools the main pool was cold. I assume they have a boiler issue as maintenance work was planned i believe. 2) Our non smoking room smelt strongly of cigarettes. We raised this as an issue and the cleaners did clean the net curtains which improved the odour. 3) The male pool bar attendant (possibly the bar manager) was so miserable. He made you feel so unwelcome! 4) In the evenings the hotel goes so quiet. The pool bar closes. Very little entertainment.

• Sharon (10/5): Excellent choice - Nice clean apartments Friendly , helpful staff Excellent location Enjoyed my stay , we went in September when the kids are back at school so it was less busy than the summer months There entertainment program could do with improving Could benefit from more evening entertainment There is a piano guy we saw that plays really well in the evenings but we went out most evenings so can't comment for the whole week I would expect the high season to have a more active entertainment program, other to that I would definitely recommend palm oasis This is my second visit to Gran Canaria this year and I will definitely return
• Lee (10/5): Great family retreat - My ten-year-old and I had such a great time. It's truly an Oasis, with incredible swimming pools and easy access to the beach. A quiet and family-friendly hotel. I really recommend.
• Graham (8/5): Great family Stay - All in all great ten days half board, room clean, food good and if like me I have fussy kids and there are no chips etc just ask and they will cook some for you. I'm glad did half board as not much around hotel, however only 4 Euro to get taxi into maspolomas. Pools are great lots of sun beds and shade, towel provided by hotel as well which was handy and they also take towels of people who go down early to save sun beds which I found a great idea as it stopped sun bed blocking. My one and only moan is the sofa bed is so uncomfortable but you can't have everything. Great family holiday. Thanks Palm Oasis
• Mariew (10/5): So good last time we booked again and loved it! - We were not disappointed this year. In fact, knowing what we learned last year re. restaturants in the area etc we had a far more relaxing break. The one bedroom apartments are ecellent value with loads of space and great facilites.
• tony (8/5): hotel with good swimming pools and lovely gardens - beautiful gardens and swimming pools. 1 bedroom apartment was very good apart from the extra sofa bed excellent buffet breakfast evening meals were of fair quality. Supermarket on site was reasonably priced. Staff friendly. the only real negative I can say are the sun bed loungers the hotel not enforcing its own rules people reserving with towels and then going off for hours.
• Alan (10/5): Excellent week stay in March - The apartments are fantastic, well maintained, spacious and well equipped. Pool area is one of the best I have seen in Europe and the food was great for all meals. Only drawback is location you can't really walk to any main areas so it is a taxi ride to Meloneras or Playa Del Ingles but we factored that in compared to much higher costs for equivalent accommodation in those resorts. Its quiet and only a 4 euro cab ride to either resort. I would definitely stay again.
